I ordered the wagon steak and it was cooked perfectly. Medium rare. We really enjoyed our lunch there celebrating our friends birthday. The front house staff was very attentive to every single detail, we are very well looked after. The location was just right at the beach with excellent views to the pier. Will be back!

AMAZING LITTLE CAFE / RESTAURANT RIGHT ON THE BEACH IN ALBERT PARK Pipis Kiosk offers a delightful experience. Great cuisine,friendly service and and amazing right-on-the-beach-location. A variety of dishes from seafood to steak and an extensive drinks menu. This place is a gem! Expansive views out to sea, yet comfortably sheltered behind large windows. Easy access via road transport and local trams. People with mobility issues will be fine here as it's all on one floor and has excellent bathroom facilities. Not noisy and decent spacing between tables.

Yesterday we celebrated our anniversary with a special lunch for 18. Everything was amazing. We had our own room with magnificent views of the bay. The staff were accomodating and flexible in planning and dietary requirements were well managed. Staff on the day were amazing and the food was next level. Each course was prepared with finesse and tasted amazing. Even the toddlers were given quality attention. Thank you for helping to make our memorable occasion even more special. Just lovely

The food here is absolutely insane. It's close to a fine dining experience, in a beautiful glass box on the sea, but affordable and approachable. Great cocktails and service, too. We recently had a 20-person event in the atrium style room - the Pipi's team were really easy to deal with, dietaries were handled with care and everyone was blown away by their meal. The perfect summer spot for special or casual occasions.

The food here is absolutely delicious – Enjoying the meal while looking out over the ocean made it even better. The atmosphere is relaxing and the whole place feels very welcoming. The staff were super friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back next time. Highly recommend this place for anyone who wants great food and an amazing coastal view!

The takeaway fish and chips were the best I’ve ever had. The fish was fresh John Dory, the batter and seasoning were absolutely perfect, and the chips were delicious as well. Even the tomato sauce tasted great. It was the first time I didn’t need any lemon and even put my phone down — I just focused on enjoying every bite. Please let your chef know that the meal was truly exceptional.

4 stars for the food and 3 for the experience, a great place with exceptional location. However the service doesn’t match the price we paid, the staff who welcomed us seemed frustrated with everyone’s arrivals. He was quite weird about the sitting. I booked a bar•dinning room online, then he led us to the patio table outside, when I was trying to tell him that it was a bit too warm, he firmly told me that I booked for a bar table and asked for widow view, so this is what you would get. I truly appreciate the explanation while there are still plenty of empty tables in the indoor dinning room but somehow we are not allowed to sit there. The food was fresh, vibe was chill and other severs were very nice. Well, an one time experience restaurant for us over all. :)

Absolutely loved our experience at Pipi’s Kiosk! The seafood was fresh and beautifully cooked, — the tuna tartare and the baked trout were standouts. The setting right on the foreshore with views over the bay made it feel like a proper Melbourne seaside escape. Service was warm, friendly and attentive, and the vibe was relaxed yet elevated. Can’t wait to come back for another sunset dinner or a casual fish-and-chips by the water.
