Piroshky Piroshky Review - Downtown - Seattle - The Infatuation

"Piroshkis are kind of like hot pockets, except they’re usually Russian, and are hopefully homemade and haven’t just come out of a microwave. Know that this Russian stand is not a secret - a massive line starts to form just before lunchtime, so prepare to wait. Food-wise, there have savory pastries with fillings like smoked salmon pate or beef and cheese. But don’t overlook the sweet ones filled with chocolate and hazelnuts. photo credit: Erin Lodi" - Aimee Rizzo

I’m so happy they opened this location. The quality is better than Pike and the line is shorter. It’s also connected to the monorail coffee spot with seating outdoors. I come here all the time for the curry rice piroshky and I even have a stamp card! Special shoutout to the workers as well, they’re literally the sweetest too at this location.

This location is incredibly convenient on the outside of the convention center. There is a small seating area just outside the counter room. I had the potato and cheese pastry and the chocolate cream hazelnut roll. Having just come off a plane, these pastries really hit the spot: dense and flavorful. Plus, they were ready immediately. The seating area was nice, too, essentially a covered patio that allowed some nice people watching along the street.

Easy lunch, great variety (including vegetarian and vegan options) and delicious. Convenient location and fast service. No inside seating but some outdoor options available.

Really great place to go get a quick snack. I swear these are so good that I can probably eat 30 of them. Definitely try the seasonal items.

I love Piroshky and glad they opened up at the convention center. However, every single time I’ve been to this location, regardless of day or time, they never seem to have more than one beef and onion. In fact, they always just have one, never none, never two, just one. The display case always just looks half empty too. I wish they kept it more stocked.

Service was great people were friendly. The cinnamon braid was delicious. I enjoyed it very much. We’ll try some other items later.

Great customer service and very fresh right out the oven beef and cheddar piroshki. Also got some sort of almond mascarpone thing, it was ok probably would have been amazing warm. The new location is very clean and cute!
