Where to Snag Happy Hour Deals All Day Long | Eater Houston

"Pistolero’s has a slew of specials throughout the week. For one, happy hour runs until 8 pm every night even on weekends, and on Margarita Mondays, rocks or frozen margaritas priced at $3 are practically a steal. Ten types of tacos including blackened catfish, chicken fajita, and beef barbacoa only cost $1 on Taco Tuesday." - Baylea Jones

Food was DELICIOUS! Service was great and server was nice and attentive. The happy hour is even on weekends and a good amount of time. Enjoyed a mango house margarita it was delicious. Had the beef, chicken, & Al pastor street tacos combo they were Great. Beans were delicious. Also had a regular beer battered fish taco, it was huge and also yummy! Just as expected and at really great prices. They also had music playing and it was a nice vibe. Even outdoor (even though Texas is hot)

I love me a place that has drinks on happy hour on a Sunday! Services was friendly and fast! They had a DJ there and music was awesome. Frozen house margarita tasted great. They also had another margarita which is only offered on the rocks with their own brand of tequila. It was also great! My husband liked the Michelada. I personally didn’t like it. It tasted too much like tomatoes. Taco plate was good. I would definitely not get the chicken taco one next time. It wasn’t bad. Just the other tacos were better. I had read parking was difficult but I didn’t have any issues getting a spot

Parking here is tough since the side lot is small and fills quickly. Valet option may be your easiest choice. We came on Taco Tuesday and did have to wait for a table but hostess was friendly and realistic in giving us estimated wait. Once at our table, the server was fantastic in taking drink orders and making sure we got settled in. We came on Taco Tuesday so everyone was excited to try a variety of tacos. We loved all of them! We mixed up getting a variety in corn and flour tortillas and enjoyed all we tried. Plus liked the margaritas! Looking forward to coming back again, maybe closer to 5:30p to beat the 6p rush!

If you’re a nacho fan, I recommend Pistolero’s! They have an amazing overall atmosphere. I ordered nachos, drinks, and watched the game on the patio. Upon walking into the restaurant, I was greeted by staff and instantly noticed the cool bar. The server was very attentive and kind. I appreciated her service. I also ordered street tacos. I recommend Pistolero’s to anyone looking for an easy night out in the town.

So from 12pm to 7pm margaritas are 4 bucks add flavor it’s 5 bucks really good taste very good appetizers are 7 bucks great price the food was excellent my wife and daughter got the burrito which is made with a spinach tortilla and it was stuff I got 4 tacos the Al pastor the slow roasted pork in green salsa the barbacoa which was divine and last but my favorite the mushroom taco Mann this is a creative taco it is a must try all tacos we’re on homemade corn tortillas the margaritas were very balanced and they didn’t use cheap liquor they do frozen or on the rocks the strawberry one tasted like a smoothie the watermelon was nice but the crowd favorite was the blood orange the dip trio was great you get the queso the green sauce the red sauce and guacamole the guacamole is freshly made and all so good the green sauce is nice and tangy the red sauce has a nice kick to it the queso just the right consistency and the chips were thick so when you dip they did not break lastly the star of the show was the lemonade I will say hands down better than chick fil a since we went in the afternoon we sat inside it was nice and cold they do have a patio with tons of ceilings fan very impressed by the restroom nice and clean just need a lil more lighting in the hall overall I would go out of my way to eat there again

Google
My honey found this spot for us to try on a Taco Tuesday. Our first visit was a 45min or so wait time, we didn't really mind the wait. Once seated at our table service was fast and pleasant. The 1.50 Tacos were 🔥🔥🔥🔥and the Ritas....🤌🏾. Our second visit, we did not have a long wait time and again, once seated service was on point. This is our new Tuesday spot for our chill laidback casual date nights.

Google
They were busy for happy hour and under staffed . The waitresses did best they could to accommodate . Food came out pretty quick and drinks . I will say they make their shots so small . I never had Mexican candy shots this small. Other than nice spot . Parking is very limited as well

$4 margaritas+ queso and an actually spicy red salsa= a great place to start the night. Our server Eddy was great too.

Yelp
Popped in on a Saturday afternoon for the first time. Good atmosphere, great service, happy hour all afternoon! $4 house/$5 Milagros margaritas... I got the Milagros skinny for the same price and it was delicious. We shared the 4 tacos for $17, which was a lot of food as the tacos came with lots of meat in each one. They have good specials daily and a great happy hour. Pitchers of mimosas and margaritas for cheap and they aren't stingy with the alcohol! Great patio with fans and easy parking in the streets behind the restaurant if the parking lot is full.

Yelp
Been going to Pistoleros for years. Awesome happy hour & taco Tuesday deals. Kind of salty that the worker took away my margarita glass before I completely finished it; first time occurrence for me. Drinks: milagro margarita on the rock hits, mango margarita on the rocks was better than frozen but both were super good! Apps ($6 each): elote (kind of small portion but still delicious), taquitos were good Tacos: beer battered fish (used to be my fave but portion much smaller now & quality not the same as the past), beef barbacoa (happy that it's less greasy), al pastor (nice balance between savory & sweet), fried shrimp (super delicious) I still enjoy coming here with friends and highly recommend it!

Yelp
Not my favorite place for tacos. My first time trying this place out on cinco de mayo and the restaurant was busy. Wait for our food was not terrible. I ordered 2 tacos a beef fajita and an Al pastor. The tacos does not come with lime, cilantro or onion. We were given two sauces options a green sauce and a red sauce and unfortunately none of the sauces were spicy. Parking was a nightmare no onsite parking available due to cinco de mayo, the establishment blocked the whole parking lot out. My friends and I had to park across the street and walked a good 6 minutes to the restaurant.
google avatar

Ivonne B.

Yelp
The margaritas are so good and they taste like agua frescas no artificial sweeteners for the flavor or taste at all. And on Mondays, they have happy hour which is really great. However, I decided to order an elote from the happy hour menu and it was not what I was expecting and if you're used to a mexican elote, you'll be sadly mistaken. Other than that, the service was absolutely amazing. Our waitress even came by to ask us before the happy hour was over if we needed one more drink, which was super sweet of her because she had come around every so often, when are drinks were low.

Yelp
Ambience is really chill, typical Mexican restaurant. Service is great! It tends to get busy so the earlier you get here the better section you get to choose to sit at to get assisted better. They have amazing happy hour! Margs for 4 dollars and food for $6 dollars honestly amazing portions for the amount of food that you get!

Yelp
Recently went to Pistoleros after a night out with friends for my birthday. We had a group of 10 people and I had sent them a message online ahead of time to see if we could make a reservation. Shawn took care of that for me. Thank you Shawn! The food and drinks are all very good. The casamigos tequila flight is amazing. So smooth. Service was very good even with a large group. Have to take off one star because they don't have free chips and salsa. Not too big of a deal but I think this may have been the first Mexican restaurant I've ever been to that didn't have free chips and salsa. All in all I would definitely be back because the food and drinks are very good

Yelp
It was the first time coming here. It was actually cook.. It was rather busy, but according to staff, it was happy hour. The tacos were tasty, but the margarita was decent... Seemed a bit water down, but sometimes you expect that from happy hour content. Overall, the environment was cool, a bit of a small place, but nothing that I am not acclimated to. I may come again, but it is not promising.
google avatar

Yelp
Took my parents to pistoleros in a weekend for their happy hour specials. We had mango margaritas and stuffed jalapeños and corn to start with. Then we shared chile relleno and their burger and everything was delicious. Our waitress was very helpful and nice. The music was loud but I wouldn't expect anything else being that the restaurant is in montrose and it was Sunday funday.

Yelp
Heard good reviews and came out here for a happy hour with a few friends. I probably would not return, I was not impressed. The drinks were very sour/bitter and full of ice. We all go different types of margaritas and not one was enjoyable. I went on a weds and tried their fajita special. It was okay for a special but probably would not order again. The only thing I enjoyed was the elote (not much preparation) and the service. Our server was really nice so she helped make the experience a bit more enjoyable.

Yelp
Definitely a great place to enjoy a cocktail and an appetizer on the patio. Staff took very good care of us. very clean. Now let's get to the nachos. However, they make their chips. All I can say is oh my God those chips where delicious just by themselves. I haven't had chips like that in a very long time. Can't wait to go back to have chips and queso. Parking is valet only, there's not really much of a parking area The restrooms were a little dirty and there is no his and hers. It's four different doors for four different restrooms doesn't matter men or women. All in all. This was a really good place.
google avatar

Yelp
I love their happy hour times (I believe it's 4-8pm) and drinks ($4 margaritas and they're big too)! They also have amazing tacos of varied kinds that are oh-so-delicious and very filling. What more could you ask for? They're also super accommodating with substituting certain ingredients or meats/seafood items. They have a $1.50 taco deal on Tuesdays which I'm super stoked about & have been itching to come back for!

Yelp
Wow this place was something else , I've been here a couple of times but this by far was the best visit . First and foremost let me commend Cory he did an awesome job and made us feel very welcome, he was very patient and kind. The restaurant was dimly lit, plenty of seating inside the establishment as well as seating outside if that's your thing. One thing I like about pistoleros is how affordable it is, for a good amount of food We ordered the TRIO (chips, queso, salsas and guacamole), a strawberry mango margarita, with the steak enchiladas, shout-out to my server Cory again who insisted we get the spinach sauce on-top of the enchiladas and that was definitely a good idea. The food came out in timely manner, hot and fresh !, I will definitely be back, 5 stars from me pistoleros y'all are doing right , will definitely be back and you should too !!

Yelp
Came by for Taco Tuesday, taco's are very cheap $1.50 per taco, can choose from over 10 tacos. Tacos were tasty, but small definitely worth it for $1.50 but not worth it for full price. Fun environment, especially sitting at the bar.

Yelp
This place has stayed true to its message ever since I first came on 2015. You get good drinks, pretty okay food, and a great time! Their happy hour is one of the best especially with food. The staff is also nice. Its always a good time when we come here.
google avatar

Yelp
Firstly, I think I've found a new staple Mex. place! The drinks were great and so was the food. The nachos were *chef's kiss* and the steak on them were seasoned to perfection. I also really like the chips they have. I was not too much of a fan of the tamales but my friend was so we'll go with their positive take on it. Listen, friends!!! They've got happy hour on lock! They have food and drinks on the hh menu. They are recession-ably priced lol so for those of us who've tightened up our budgets this year, Pistolero's can still satisfy your needs with frugality. Steven or Stephen (didn't see the spelling lol) was our waiter and he is just such a beautiful soul. He seems like so much fun. I also dig a patio or rooftop area. This place is located in Montrose and the decor for the area did not disappoint. It gives vintage yet fun and edgy.

Gloria Emelina M.

Yelp
Our fav spot for happy hour. Great price for food and drinks. The service is nice everyone is friendly. Love the music selection and there's plenty of seating and the restrooms are clean.
google avatar

Jennifer W.

Yelp
We went for happy hour and the quesadillas were amazing. Margaritas were not that good and were pretty weak. Neat outdoor patio seating area. Service was a little slow and not that friendly but it was packed and they were working hard so I'm sure it depends on the day.
google avatar

Bargavi K.

Yelp
Speaking only on the HH here! So I've heard for a long time now that Pistoleros is a quintessential HH spot in Montrose. And being a Montrose resident myself, I had to finally check it out! I got the nachos and HH house margarita($4) and was floored by how good they were for the price. If you want a nice spot to get a cheap tasty marg while baking in the sun a bit, Pistoleros patio is a great bet. My server was super friendly and very responsive. :)

Yelp
Five stars for Saturday happy hour!! Being able to sit on a patio, with drink and food specials, on a Saturday, is a full win in my book. If you then add delicious food, great service, and big pitchers of mimosas or margaritas to the mix, and it's a home run. When we arrived, we were informed that they were a little short staffed, and the service may be slow. We totally understood, but headed out to the full patio nonetheless. Even though they were incredibly busy, the staff still found a way to give excellent service. I was pretty impressed, and I'll definitely be back.
google avatar

Kuleen L.

Yelp
Seriously disappointed. Drove by this place countless times. Finally decided to give it a shot. First you have to valet $10.. waste. Get seated at a booth. Order first round. The cocktails were ok. Nothing to rave about. Just an average margarita not the best. On to the food. Order trio dip with chips. I hate that the chips are not restaurant style and the big thick ones... so much fried chip taste which over powers the queso, quac, etc. Salsa was also mediocre. Tacos right... what we came for. Fail! I live to eat tacos. The tacos were fairly bland and the best way to describe them is buying pre made fajita meat at HEB and warming it up in the microwave. That's how it tasted.. nothing authentic to rave about. Nor would I ever order them again. Beans and rice..nope.. seriously Taco Bell has better sides. . I can't imagine how basic the other menu items will be. I will never return here again! Not even if you have me a free gift card. Only pro is a nice patio. But there are plenty of patio restaurants anyways. Service was attentive.. will give them that.

Yelp
I absolutely love the deal the Pistoleros has on Tuesday! The tacos are of great quality and inexpensive. If it were just the food i would give them a 5 star rating. There host stand is the individual reason for this 2 star rating. Why is there a 2 hr wait with more than 3 open tables outside and 2 on the inside and only a hand full of ppl waiting outside? Let be for real here. Pls organize your waiting list system.
google avatar

Olivia H.

Yelp
This is a long-standing Montrose spot for cheap taco & margarita deals, and I'm happy to see they weathered out the recent years of "unprecedented times". Definitely worth checking out for a nice after-work happy hour, but be warned that the parking and wait times can get intense, even on weeknights. Personal favorites: Barbacoa, Al Pastor, Chips & Queso
google avatar

Kei V.

Yelp
Don't like the parking situation there but the vibes are great, service was fast and friendly. Ordered street corn and street tacos with a couple of shots and margaritas on a Saturday during lunch. We can't wait to come back here for their awesome happy hour!
google avatar

Leo P.

Yelp
I'm sorry but this place is disgusting, tables are sticky and greasy they are not deep clean, I ordered the nachos with fajitas on it they were overcook and the meat was nothing but fat I don't recommend this place.
google avatar

serra m.

Yelp
The place gives a good social vibe and prices are great for happy hour. But the food quality is not great. It definitely needs some dusting. The drinks were ok. Service was ok a well. Parking is horrible. I will not be back.

Yelp
My first visit was Tuesday 19 Sept 23 for a girls TacoTuesday night during happy hour. It was a 95 minute drive during evening traffic to discover there wasn't adequate parking and $10 valet was the only option. The Happy Hour prices is the reason the place was packed I am sure. I had a fabulous margarita with chips and salsa. Sadly I don't like the chips and wasn't able to finish them. There was a lady in my group that returned her taco. The ladies in my group more than made up for the food. Thanks for the experience.

Yelp
Saw this place suggested a lot for a good happy hour, and the people were right, it was jumping & for good reason. It's a cool little casual spot with a good sized patio and somewhat cramped dining room, if you get there too late you may have to stand. Also the parking lot is mandatory $5 valet but I was able to find street parking one block over. I'd recommend valet cause it's not a pleasant walk over, even though it's short. The happy hour specials are REALLY cheap, my friends and I got $4 margaritas and sangrias & both were pretty good but a little too sweet for me and I feel like they were kind of weak. I'd probably get a double next time. The food specials were cheap as heck, $6 appetizers and $1.50 tacos on Tuesday but the tacos looked and tasted like $1.50, they were so tiny, bland and served without sauce. The appetizers were great though, the stuffed jalepenos and nachos were both amazing, especially for $6. Overall it's a really cheap place with a good vibe. Don't expect to have a mind blowing culinary experience here but you can have a good time with friends without spending a lot at all.

Yelp
Came to Pistolero's for their happy hour and it certainly is a neighborhood hit for a reason. Their happy hour deals are really unbeatable - $4 margs and under $2 tacos (the shrimp one is the best one). It is an excellent spot to bring a group after work on a weekday. There is indoor and patio seating, both with great ambience. The only woe of this place is the parking - you have to park in the neighborhoods because the restaurant parking lot is tiny and valet only. All in all, for what it's worth, Pistolero's offers a fun and exciting social space with great happy hour deals!
google avatar

Yelp
Great food and happy hour for an amazing price. Had two tacos and two margaritas with splitting the dip trio for $30. Highly recommend

Yelp
The food is amazing! We got the trio chips w guacamole, queso, and 2 sauces so good and today Wednesday they had a special of fajitas for 2 which were served with rice beans and tortillas , with a side of pico, sour cream lettuce and cheese . They also have happy hour daily , I had a strawberry, watermelon and prickly pear margarita , YUM! My boyfriend had the mango one I also had a sangria that was ok , service super as always!! & let's not talk about the vibes there, we sat outside to enjoy the weather . I LOVE it there!

Yelp
Love pistoleros! They have a great location and a wonderful happy hour! We've been multiple times for happy hour and non-happy hour times, but definitely love to take advantage of HH deals! The staff is super nice and there's indoor and outdoor seating, and there's cool decorations around! For example we went around Halloween and they had decorations up! We've had some issues when we go where maybe it's too busy or something but have had trouble with needing to wait for the waiter for extended periods. For example when we went last month there was probably 2 times where we had to wait 30-45 minutes for the waiter, and that made it a bit difficult to get more drinks and then we had to wait longer for apps and food to come out. Overall, still definitely like Ninfas -they have food queso, tacos, and quesadillas among other food items, but a little annoying having to wait for such long times on occasion. Also, if you go you have to try their Margs! One other quick note-the parking around there is a bit limited but they do offer valet and there is some street parking!
google avatar

Natosha D.

Yelp
Made a quick stop and had a $5 strawberry margarita. It was delicious. Service was fast and the place was packed.
google avatar

Kavica S.

Yelp
Came in for Taco Tuesday. It's an entire vibe. The restaurant is decorated really cute with ample seating inside and out. There are televisions throughout the restaurant to catch sports. Nice view of main drag for people watching. Parking is a bit confusing. Service was just okay. The margaritas were good.

Yelp
Classic Mexican inspired bar on montrose! This place was introduced to me in my college days almost 10 years ago, and still thriving and doing well even post Covid! Amazing happy hour deals that ends at 8pm. I recommend coming on Thursday's to get their burger! I do have to admit that the quality of the food isn't the same as i remember, but still overall pretty good for the price. MUST TRIES - jalapeño poppers - tacos - fried shrimp was fav. Tortillas here are the best I ever had. -flavored margaritas ALRIGHT -elotes; more on the cheesy, bacony side. Versus classic spiced and saucy version. -burgers (wish it was more seasoned tho, can ask for their avocado ranch sauce). Their bun is good though, also house made! - sangria (needs more flavor, too diluted)

Yelp
All I tell my coworkers in the Hospital is that they need to come and have a drink at PISTOLEROS!! I've been coming here for years and it's never disappointed! Happy Hour everyday till 8pm?! What more could you ask for besides their daily deals on food or drinks Mon-Thur. DJ Rhyno in the mix on Wednesdays and Sundays is just the icing on the cake! Tldr: Pistoleros is a great place and a must go if you live in Houston and love Tequila
google avatar

Goldie O.

Yelp
I've been to pistoleros a few times for their taco Tuesday but this was my first time coming on a Sunday. They offer valet parking or you can try and find street parking but be cautious of the signs as they as they advise what times you are allowed to park. I came with my friend around 6PM and there was plenty of seating on the patio and also a few options inside. They had a DJ playing inside which you could also hear from the patio and they had televisions in case you wanted to watch any games. They had a happy hour menu which had pitchers of mimosas from 12-4 and also half priced appetizers and drinks from 4-8. We started with regular chips and queso but had to send it back because the queso was lukewarm. I usually love their chips and queso but my friend wasn't a fan of it. We ended up getting the nachos that were on the happy hour menu for $6 but if you want to add meat to it it's an additional $3. We also added the melted queso as opposed to shredded cheese which was also another $3. Lol seems like the happy hour meals are the basic options and you eventually have to pay extra for all the fixings but I was okay with it because our nachos were off the chain! We had already eaten earlier so that's all we had to eat. We ordered the frozen margaritas which were also pretty good but I'm not sure that I felt as tipsy as I wanted to after having two of them so for me they weren't the strongest Overall. it was a nice chill spot to come to on a Sunday afternoon with a few friends. Side note:the tacos on Tuesday's are now $1.50 and $2.00 for shrimp (haven't been here in a while so maybe this price has been like this). From what I remember of the tacos, they were pretty small and pretty standard. So if you order beef, it came with a little beef and lettuce but they are such a good deal and taste pretty good that you can't beat it.
google avatar

Requel P.

Yelp
I really walked from one restaurant to get here just for this elote & yall it's not how it used to be. I guess with everything just sitting on the melted cheese on top thst none of the seasoning gets on the corn. So it's like seasoned cheese & then unseasoned corn in your bite lol. Elote deserves better lol.
google avatar

Chimere P.

Yelp
Went here for a Sunday Funday and they never seem to disappoint me. This is a good place to go to if you want to get LIT. The food is not that great at all in my opinion, I go here specifically for the drinks/margaritas. They almost always have some type of drink specials so be sure to look on the walls behind the bar! They also have spacious outside seating that is covered.

Alison M.

Yelp
Visited Pistolero's for happy hour with about 10 people. We were there for four hours, ordering tons of food and drinks. We decided to ask for a few pitchers of water because those happy hour margaritas are strong! Unfortunately, there was a cockroach in our pitcher of water. Gross! We asked if we could get our last order of nachos compensated for or if we could get a few happy hour margaritas compensated for the people that DRANK THE WATER with the cockroach in it and our server said "Nope, I wish." And took the pitcher of water away. Of course we closed out and left but we won't be back. I understand bugs happen but at least don't make someone pay full price for a food item if they drank your cockroach water.

Annette C.

Yelp
First visit and the waiter was not impressive.....asked for an old fashioned and his response was "I don't know', asked what bourbon you use and I get the same response. Asked if they use a single cube and his response was 'where do you think you are'. Be sure not to sit in his area. Waited 10 minutes before I had to ask him for another drink. Geez! If you are having a bad day and work in the SERVICE industry, call in sick....

Natalia G.

Yelp
Yummy food and yummy drinks! Ordered the Plato de Muestra and it was perfect for someone who can't decide on one thing, like me.

Yelp
Me and my boyfriend have been coming here for 5+ yrs and the staff is always so nice. Chris always pours up the best drinks!

Yelp
Staff are super friendly. Came in for the happy hour $4 margaritas. Had so much fun with workmates. Vibe is so chill. Our go-to happy hour after work!

Yelp
i think people leaving the 1 star reviews make the mistake of thinking that this is a restaurant. To be crystal clear THIS IS NOT A RESTAURANT. Instead it's a bar that also happens to sell really cheap mediocre food. The service and ambiance that you get here is that of a bar/club. If you want real tex mex and you're not poor just go to Candente, Superica, Ninfa's, El Tiempo, Teotihuacan etc. If you want to get completely wasted and eat some crappy food for $30 come here and enjoy. Stop judging food at a place that sells tacos for $1.50 in 2023.
google avatar

Jeremy B.

Yelp
I normally love them so much and come so often but today was the last day I'll ever comeback !!! i had a margarita on the rocks and i had a frozen ROACH in my drink.

Yelp
A great place for food and drinks. We have liked everything about this place from chips and salsa, queso, enchiladas, and margaritas. The service is also great. We will definitely be back.

Taylor B.

Yelp
I only put 1 star for the margaritas. I can say they are strong and seem to be good. HOWEVER, this was my 2nd time here in maybe 6 years. My sister and I were looking for a place to eat and have a drink . My sister who has been here on numerous occasions made a comment that she didn't really like it because she always has a bad experience due to cleanliness. For instance, once a bartender took a sip out of her friends drink AFTER he gave it to him. And on another occasion she found bugs in her food. But since we were hungry and didn't really have an appetite for anything else, we reluctantly went here. We sat down outside and it took about 10 minutes for us to be greeted and to order. We weren't sure what food we wanted so we both ordered a margarita to start. About 5 minutes later our waitress brought us out waters. As me and my sister were speaking she made a strange face at her water and pulled out a big piece of plastic!!! It was disgusting. We called our waitress back over and I showed her what was pulled out of the water. She was confused also. She then asked if we would be ordering which we replied probably not. She took the water inside and came back with our margaritas ( I ordered a frozen but was given on the Rocks. No big deal we weren't staying anyways). She let us know she told her manager and his response was "that doesn't look like something that came from here" EXCUSE ME????? If we wanted to get something free we wouldn't put anything in FREE WATER. Me and my sister were in shock. Not to mention we sat there for about 20 minutes to finish our drinks and the manager never came out to speak with us or correct the situation! Again we didn't want anything free... but any establishment I've been too or worked at, the manager will always come out to make sure the customer is satisfied. I can firmly say I will probably never be back here.

Yelp
We went on a Sunday for brunch. I have to say, their happy hour is unreal. And they do their happy hour for most of the day on Sunday. Appetizers are $6 and the mimosa pitcher is $10! So, of course, we got a mimosa pitcher and 2 appetizers: tamales and taquitos. Tamales can be either chicken or pork. We chose mixed and preferred the pork tamale. The taquitos were good and better than the tamales. The sauce that they serve with the taquitos is also really good. My boyfriend also ordered the beef fajita enchiladas with red sauce. He really liked them. I didn't get to try them, but I did try the rice and it was good. For food and drinks it was a 10/10. Now for the reason I knocked a few stars down. The service was awful. When we first got there we were told to sit anywhere we'd like. We picked a table outside and instantly a waitress said hello and brought us some waters. She then explained the happy hour menu to us and brought us the brunch menu. We didn't order right away and asked for a few moments to think about what drinks we wanted. She then didn't come back for about 40 minutes. It actually got to the point where my boyfriend got up to go inside and order at the bar and as he was about to walk away our waitress came back and took our order. We then never got our pitcher. About 20 minutes or so later she brings out the enchiladas and the tamales and asks us if we needed anything else. We reminded her about the pitcher and she goes inside and brings it out to us. We didn't get the taquitos till much later, which was ok. The time it took to get our food wasn't an issue, it was just how long it took to even order and how long it took to get our pitcher. Even with all that being said, we will be back for Sunday brunch. The happy hour menu is just too good to pass up.
