I heard about this place from family and decided to give it a try. I ordered the plate combo with extra bread since I was sharing it with someone else, and it was definitely enough for two. The combo included chicken, beef, rice, and salad, with two slices of bread. I paid extra for an additional slice, but honestly, it wasn't worth it. The extra bread was just a grilled hamburger bun, so I ended up with a top and bottom burger bun, which was a bit disappointing--I was expecting something more like a Hawaiian roll.
The food was good, and the plate was generously packed. I particularly enjoyed the sauce; it wasn't too sweet or thick, which was a nice touch. The location is primarily for pick-up, which worked fine for me since I planned to take it home anyway.
Considering the portion size, the price is fair. I'm curious to try the burger next time, but it seems like they're best known for their teriyaki bowls. The meat was a little tough, but since it was charbroiled, that makes sense, and I still enjoyed it overall. The location gives of a local ambience definitely saw some people who knew each other greet one another it's for sure a hidden gem.
