"Located on the second floor of a mall, there’s a ton of reasons to visit Pitcher House. From foosball tables, to their 31 flat-screen TVs, and a $2 off special on all beers during Monday Night Football, head here post-beach." - kat hong, james montgomery

"Ping pong, billiards, and 31 different screens define the lineup at Pitcher House, which sits on the second floor of a mini-mall shared with a Whole Foods. It’s a funky address, perhaps, but inside the place is nothing but a good time." - Euno Lee, Farley Elliott

Google
Rey expensive. Food overpriced, but good. Table super sticky. See attached menu to see how expensive their food is. I travel the world and this place is more expensive than it needs to be.

Went there twice for lunch Both times i sat at a table for 15 mins. No one waited on me. No one said anything when i got up and walked out. It wasnt busy, maybe 8 seated. Walked across street and ate at joes

Google
Post remodel. Got rid of all the cool stuff that made it pitcher house. Now trying to be all modern and fancy and that’s just not what that place is. $25 for two green tea shots is silly. $5 tip. $30 for two simple shots at a now boring vanilla atmosphere. Miss the old place, wont be going back.

Google
Definitely an interesting place. Locals and heavy pours. What else do you want?

Google
Good beer selection, great food . Carnitas nachos were really good, fry zucchini and beer too. Service was good, only one person working but she did a great job 👏

Great spot to unwind after a long evening of work. The bartender is super friendly and the beer was cold. Thank you!!

Enjoyed our time here tonight! Jeff & Linda were helpful and provided great service. Thanks to Jeff for his suggestion on their 1 cider on tap - tart but delicious! Good fun vibes. A true corner bar (upstairs) with a great atmosphere. Just members of the community having a great time together!

Yelp
just a question! Is there still a foosball table there? Is there active play? Any tournaments?

Carlos S.

Yelp
I love this place !!! Anna makes the best tortilla soup. Yea,yea, it's a sorta sports bar, locals, pilot bar, but the food is phenomenal. Like east coast wings ? These are better, no breading, super crispy not swimming in hot sauce. Tap beer selection, 20 or so but everything is fresh, no stale tap lines. Well priced, cheapest bang for the buck in Redondo beach. Ask Steve to make you a JetBlue Bloody Mary, super tasty. Indoor or outdoor seating , TVs with all sorts sports, NFL game ? Good luck getting a seat. Go here!

Yelp

Yelp
Love that place .. Great people, great tasting beers, great customer service, and it's so much fun playing the game there . My favorite spot to have a beer with friends

Yelp
My friend and I waited at the bar for 15 minutes before the bartender decided to say, "Sit down, and the server will take your order." It took a while for our male server with the pierced ears to come, and when he did, he was flat-out rude. We asked for two bottled beers and the pool balls to play billiards. He rolled his eyes and took so long that we ended up leaving. Perhaps it was the homogeneously Caucasian crowd (as my friend and I are both Hispanic), but we got a lot of dirty stares and felt unwelcome. If you're a minority, consider going somewhere else.

Kelly C.

Yelp
Great sports bar. Prompt service from Steve who made me feel welcome. He was gracious when I asked for a modification to my meal. I was able to get a burger lettuce wrapped and it was delicious! Due to his stellar customer service I will be back soon to try the wings!

Yelp
Don't go there on Saturdays for College games, the manager is as Rude on the phone as he is in person. Says he was just stressed. Drinks were great price and lots of screens. There was one server working and she was a rockstar.

Scott Z.

Yelp
One of my favorite spots for a drink, a game, or some apps. Just straight up locals spot with no real foo-foo bs or frills. Great hard working staff. A solid and strong drink every time and always have the games on I want to see. Fun crowd too, you never know who's gonna be hanging out here.

Yelp
We happened to pick a date and time when a big UFC fight was going, this is truly a bars bar, loud and full of life, I did worry because it was full to almost capacity, the service would be slow and or the servers would have an expected overworked attitude especially since I only saw a few of them but surprisingly the service was great the turn around time for placing orders to receiving food a drinks, no complaint the owner is present and welcoming too. Our bar server with the pretty nails Taylor was awesome. Yes it was super loud but expected. Now the food, fried pickles thick cut dill chips really yummy, we also tried the ceviche shrimp/imitation crab on a bed of lettuce with corn chips at first I was thrown off didn't seem to have enough juice for me but as I kept going the flavor was popping I was impressed. My husband had burger his way with fries, the fries were Luke warm not a reason to take off a star but they were good. He enjoyed the burger as well. I had chicken burrito I had so many other taste in my mouth I couldn't appreciate the burrito and thought it was thigh meat. I saved it and ate it the next day and can I say it was actually good. although we were much older, then the majority there, everyone was really nice and welcoming

Randal G.

Yelp
The food was delicious. I ordered an all-meat pizza, and my wife ordered the birria taco plate. We also shared the spinach dip appetizer. Every dish was delicious. The service was outstanding. The establishment had a neighborhood bar and grill vibe. Billiard tables are located at one end of the Pitcher House. At the opposite end was live music, where The Jokers were pumping out some classic rock tunes from the 60s and 70s to dance to (And why not? Because I was on the electric bass with them that night!). Overall, it's a great spot to listen to some live music and to hang out with friends.

Yelp
My first visit to here. Came in to watch some football. Unfortunately, the kitchen was closed. However, there did allow outside food on this occasion (thank you). The staff (and manager) were friendly, which made for an "at home" environment. I will definitely return...gotta have some in-house food

Yelp
First time I ever came here was about a month ago with a couple friends and it was during a big ufc fight so there was a lot of people there for the event, and we definitely had a good time. So I came back today and brought my buddy with me thinking we were gonna play a couple games of pool and have a few beers. We immediately felt un-welcomed by the staff as soon as we walked in. The bar tender gave us dirty looks and ignored us for 15 minutes as we patiently waited to be helped by someone, finally he said "You know there's a server here you could just sit down" when there were literally other people ordering drinks at the bar. So we sat a table, waited another 15 minutes for their server to approach us, who kept giving us more dirty looks as he walked passed us, then he finally approached us and said "what do you guys want". We already had our id's out when the server came and when we told him we wanted to grab two beers and use the pool table he literally rolled his eyes at us and just nodded his head. We decided to just get up and finally leave. I've been working as a server in a restaurants for several years and that is absolutely not the way you're supposed to approach people. We felt extremely discriminated by the staff especially because we were the only two Hispanic people inside. Definitely never coming back, and to anyone else who understands where we're coming from, the short answer is: Yes, they're racist. Don't come.

Jeannette W.

Yelp
Very inviting & chill sports bar atmosphere, unexpected in a strip mall. There is outdoor patio with umbrellas & your usual sports bar vibe w/ pool tables & open air feel from inside. First x there last Saturday on way to Hermosa Pier with friends who came up from Huntington :) Greeted by awesome old school funny as hell bartender, we sat next to regulars & enjoyed great spinach dip (so hard to find in SoCal!) I will definitely be back next time in South Beach. Comfy feeling. Now I'm hungry. :)

Lucy C.

Yelp
This place has a great Atmosphere, Customer Service and Food. Gotta try the Carnitas Nachos, they are awesome. The Cocktails are awesome too, very relaxing vibe.

R Scott S.

Yelp
Terrible service today...sat at the bar for 5 min minimum before recognized...another 2-3 before bartender said "I'll be right w/ you" while she poured a glass of wine for the "regular" who sat next to me 10 min after I arrived,.,.,then I got up and split..yes the place was busy and while I was heading out, the other bartender was on a smoke break...pathetic timing, no sense of urgency,.,.,I was so looking forward to a beer and fried zucchini which are the best in town,.,.,

Barbara Y.

Yelp
Great service, good drinks, love the wings but the burgers are just ok. It's too bad because the burgers were fantastic. Now the burger is small, says 1/2 lb but no way. Lindsey was a great server. And we loved watching several different football games at the same time. Oh and they need new bar stools. Yikes our butts got sore.

Alex H.

Yelp
Great spot to watch football, hang out with friends and grab some good (reasonably priced) drinks! Their happy hour is from 5-7pm which includes well drinks, bottles and drafts. We ordered the tater tots, hot wings and sliders, which were all absolutely delicious!! The server was friendly, attentive and did a nice job at the beginning to ensure we had what we needed. For the main meal, we ordered taquitos, Philly cheesesteak sandwich and bacon burger - the burger and taquitos were both very mediocre but the Philly cheesesteak was great! There are pool tables and a jukebox so this place is a perfect spot for happy hour, watching sports and hanging out with friends!

Danielle R.

Yelp
Only ordered 1 blue moon, 1 mango cart that came out to $37???? Won't be coming back.

Tyler J.

Yelp
yea bartender was super rude half ignored me after asking my friend for a drink right nxt to me . NOT the local redondo spot im used to . 0 stars .

Laurel S.

Yelp
Definitely a dive bar but worked perfectly for us. Had a 7 pm flight home to KC after a weekend in the OC and needed a place close to the airport to watch the Chiefs game. We had very cold beer, fried pickles, onion rings, pizza and nachos. The only thing I wouldn't order again is the nachos. The pizza was to die for. LA is a terrible football town so even though this place has 30 tvs the only people actually watching the games were out of towners so not the fun football bar vibe I usually look for when watching out of town but good food, cold beer and the game on right in front of us is the best we could hope for out there.

Marie D.

Yelp
They allow children after 9 but not dogs per Ashley the manager owner. Heads up south bay goers wanting to walk their dog and grab a drink.

Tom E.

Yelp
Good food and drinks. Very good sports bar with lots of t.v.s. Service was very good too.

Joyce T.

Yelp
It's located on the 2nd floor in an inside corner of a mall. Large venue. It's a featured Untapped venue. Very reasonable sports bar. Bar food fare. Pool table and the such here.

Lelani M.

Yelp
Decent bar with lots of TV's, great pizza, and pool tables. I've been there twice so far. Once on a Friday night, it wasn't too crowded, and service was good. Played pool and people were playing music from the jukebox. The second time was recently on a Sunday morning for football. There are plenty of TV's, but you are unable to ask them to switch any, so make sure you get there early enough to get a seat near your game. Had a scrambled eggs breakfast and micheladas which were great!

Bob Y.

Yelp
A bar with bar food, and bar drinks. What you'd expect, nothing exceptional, but 100% inline with what you'd expect from a bar, and bar food. A no nonsense place. I do like the number of TV screens and the ample seating in this place. I also like the fact that they are upstairs as well. Service is friendly. Not much else to say, if you've been to a bar, you've been to this one.

Jake E.

Yelp
Worst bar in the South Bay. Wait staff were in attentive and rude. Short brunette female bartender was especially rude and sassy. 0 stars.

Garen A.

Yelp
Your classic dive bar! I like that it's upstairs because it's a little more secluded, and therefore a little less crowded (though I went on a weekday, so maybe that's why?). Bartender and patrons are super nice! Drink selection is decent, and definitely more affordable than most other places in LA. Food was ok. I had the nachos and a burger (I think Thurs is there burger special day... burgers are on sale). Very typical bar food. Not bad, not specifically good... just somewhere in the middle. I also ended up playing trivia because they had it that night, which was fun... though apparently that was the last night they were going to have trivia there. Womp Womp! Stay Cheerful ;)

Yelp
Visited Pitcher House Upper Deck on Thursday night. It seemed like a standard sports bar, but the terrible customers left a bad impression, and had us ready to get out of there quickly. Quality: Pitcher House Upper Deck is a pretty typical sports bar. It also happened to be one of the few places open late on Thursday night near Redondo Beach. We arrived too late for food, but ordered a round of beers. They have tons of deals during games as well as a bunch beer with shot combos, but the standard menu is also cheap. The problem we ran into were the terrible customers that are apparently regulars and felt the need to speak with everyone. Quantity: Pretty standard beers on tap with just a few local craft options. No issue with the pour size. Value: $5-$9 for Draft Beer. Ambiance: Pitcher House Upper Deck is located in Redondo Beach, several blocks from the Pier. It sits on the weird second level of a strip mall. Inside it is a standard sports bar with televisions everywhere you look, road signs littering the walls, and a few game and arcade options in the corner. They also had a small outdoor patio area with high-tops and additional televisions facing the tables. The music was a paid jukebox, which left us at the mercy of the other customers music selections. Crowd: The only customers we saw at the end of the night were self-proclaimed regulars and they were something else. Completely wasted, rude, and racist. If they are indeed regulars, it makes this a place you don't ever want to be. Service: The staff were rowdy, but that was necessary to deal with the customers. Parking: Large parking lot for the entire shopping complex.

Erica S.

Yelp
Love this place ! The customer service is great, the food is great and Tony and Ana do an amazing job in the kitchen ! I love the sliders ! Best sliders I've ever had! Definitely recommend this place for a good time ! You won't regret it! Watch some sports, play some pool or even go on karaoke night and sing a few songs !

Monica C.

Yelp
Ok people my observation of this place awesome environment waiter has amazing customer service skills this place makes you feel happy sports bar. Kareoki is on Sundays. Plus the owner is very pleasant and handsome. Food is delicious I highly recommend this place if there was a 7 star I'd rather it. Namaste

Melanie D.

Yelp
If I could give 0 stars I would. This place is an absolute Fraud. I ordered 2 separate shots for 3 people and they both tasted the same. I ordered casamigos reposado and a Don Julio . - I'm a tequila connoisseur so I know the difference between the tastes I was with 4 other Tequila connoisseurs and we all confirmed that The alcohol they served was the same in taste. Casa migos and Don Julio have no bite to it, they're smooth.. The shots we received we're not. The price of the tequilas were the same. I asked for casamigos represado but The tequila did not have the coloring or the smell of casaminos. When I went back to get the Don Julio shot a different bartender told me that they did not carry casamigos. This new bartender poured me a shot of Don Julio was tasted exactly like the "casamigos" that I received before which were also the same in pricing. I asked my friends if I should bring it up to them and they said I should just move on, so I did not. Instead I am writing a review to let people know that they have some fraudulent practices. CONSUMER BEWARE

Sherry B.

Yelp
Came here to watch UFC fights and it was pretty packed with a good amount of TVs around the venue. Service was very friendly and drinks and bar food are so cheap! A corona only for $6 and a basket of fries only for $4. Definitely a good spot for watching sports event while getting decent priced drinks and snacks.

Matt B.

Yelp
I love this place. They will always put your game on. The staff is great too. Kristina will make sure your never thirsty (at least for a drink). The bestl

Trevor P.

Yelp
Decent service and cheap drinks. Cool venue you can smoke at. But lame as acoustic groups, playing boring ass music no one likes.. I'd happily stay if they quit with the terrible acts.. such a bore. Such a buzz kill. Even the old people don't like the music..

Nico A.

Yelp
This is a pre-covid 19 review that reflects my feelings based on experience. I was kinda inebriated which typically writes off any credibility I might have. But I really didn't like the way the bartender treated me, so this review will be based off of how the staff treats patrons who drink (which is basically everyone who comes in). So first off, this place is poppin, loud music, lots of groups crowded up, games everywhere, and plenty of booze. I didn't order any food but they have food. I was flying solo the night I went here and was really just trying to drink. I pretty much drank only beer because they were out of wild turkey. I hung out at the bar, maybe conversed with a few of the fellow patrons, and essentially just kept to myself. I remained in my seat throughout the night, was not boisterous or obnoxious, yet somehow the bartender decided to cut me off. Granted, I was probably legally drunk, but we were in a bar and my money was green, and I was not being sloppy or offensive. So I I felt bullied (maybe not the best word but I was defenseless and someone else was stopping me from doing how I wanted) since I really couldn't argue with him being as lit as I was. The bartender straight up told me didn't want to serve me anymore. Based on my bill, I think my drink count was at 3 or 4. Not outrageous number of drinks at all, right? Yet he somehow decided to take a stand against me and tell me Iv had enough. I was not driving, was not sick (if either of these things was the case then I would have stopped already) so I feel him serving me in this manner was inappropriate. He took advantage of me, was not doing anybody a favor (except maybe my liver but that's my business not his) and left a very unappealing lasting impression of the bar.

Jo B.

Yelp
Great local dive bar with tons of characters to people watch. Pool is fun. Drinks are good.

Donna S.

Yelp
A classic sports bar with loads of TVs, ice cold pitchers of beer, bar food and reasonably quick and quite friendly servers. Great local crowd of mellow sports fans. Bacon wrapped.dogs on the patio for the playoff game were the BEST.

Bryan V.

Yelp
Great place for a game, especially baseball they have all the channels. Ashley is a fantastic server. Taco Tuesday is great. We go all the time. Tons of room and great food and atmosphere.

Mari P.

Yelp
Good food...every, single time!!! Experience wirh all the food servers has been great and consistent! The only thing is rhey should really clean up that ceiling...it looms icky..greasy! But other than that love that place

Scott M.

Yelp
Best bar in redondo!!! Great service... strong drinks... and fantastic food!!! Great spot during football season!

France R.

Yelp
Taylor is the prettiest bartender I've ever seen. She's fun and talkative and works hard. Love this place for good service and a fun time.

Jamie N.

Yelp
I like this place, I really do. The tower that I originally posted is about $40 but the space between the pitcher and the spout is filthy! I'm noticing that all of them are dirty. I don't know if they're not able to be cleaned or just looked over... it looks disgusting and moldy. Please clean it!! I do enjoy coming here but that "substance" is all I'm thinking about right now. Side note: it is crazy packed in here and our waitress is super nice but super busy.

Susan U.

Yelp
The visit was random and it turned out to be a wonderful late lunch. Parking was at the Whole Foods lot and it's located on the second floor of the shopping plaza. Anyone can take the elevator or the stairs. We chose the stairs. Great food! We had the JIMMY'S CLASSIC BURRITO,COBB'S SALAD,ANNA'S CEVICHE with ice- cold beer and everything was tasty. Burrito was a little salty to me but I enjoyed the ceviche so much. It's a cool place to chillax and kill time with so much fun things to do and watch your favorite sport like any other typical sports bar. The staff was super nice and he gave us good info about the place. Worth the discovery and time!

george a.

Yelp
It's my first time being at the place... My friends talked about it like .... it's the place to go for sports and beer Great IPA on tap . However, I tried the Jimmy's classic burrito asada style....well let's say, it didn't have enough meat although, the flavors were pretty good ALIX great service with a welcoming smile....thank you

Chris G.

Yelp
Dear Keith B, Bro we got the point when you posted this a month ago. Stop being a little bitc h, I'm sorry you are a loser and have to try to empower your bitc h as s through a yelp review. Take this shit down and I'll stop referring to you as qui ff.

Andrew W.

Yelp
Nice people, depending on how I feel. It's calm during the day, but gets pretty loud and party at night. I went there once during the day and it was empty, it was on a weekday during the day when I visited. Always remember these words when you visit this place, which I've seen on the back of some of the pitcher house t-shirts, which is "Be Nice or Leave" so for those who visit, need to be nice.

Sary M.

Yelp
Stopped by the little gem for lunch , Parking is a strip mall with lots of diffeent businesses we had no problem finding parking even though it was very close to lunch time.we walked in and were immediately greeted. Very clean nice and cool. I had a ice cold blue ribbon beer. We order an order of wings and the fried pickles they were delicious i will definetly be going back.

Markeisha M.

Yelp
Went for drinks with my bestie & some of her co-workers Sunday night. I had a blast, the staff was super friendly & cool. I felt super comfortable even though I'm technically a Tourist. Lol! I definitely would love to stop here again sometime soon!

Yelp
*The best Sports Bar & Restaurant in the South Bay! Good selection of draught & bottles, plus a full bar. Cool decor that fits sports, the beach, and Socal living. *36+/- TV's is way more than needed - so it's a sports paradise! Plus rockin tunes! *The server Alix hustles her rear off taking care of a huge room & similarly large outdoor deck! She's amazing! *The solo bartender works hard too. However, it shouldn't take several requests & 20 minutes to finally put the Dodgers game on... easy fix. *Taco Tuesdays are a delicious bargain w/mini-tacos $1. The salsa is excellent! 5 Stars! *The pizza is killer & such a good deal. Better than any local pizzeria! 5 Stars! *3rd time here now: - nachos are fairly priced but needed much more of the guac, sour cream, pico de gallo toppings and a full BOWL of salsa. 3.5 Stars - Cheesesteak chunks of beef & creamy cheese were well portioned/priced. But they needed a little more onions, peppers & shrooms. 4 Stars * Two pool tables, two video games, and foosball. *I've been a managing partner of a very highly rated restaurant & bar, plus as a 40 year commercial real estate broker I've leased & sold many. So I have the background to know excellence when I see & taste it - and the Pitcher House deserves applause!

Raven A.

Yelp
Peter Y is an idiot and they pour beer perfectly maybe be more cultured and stop harassing wait staff
