I placed an order on their app at 12:07pm. It told me my pizzas would be delivered by 12:37pm. At 12:47pm I called the restaurant to find out the status of my delivery. They told me it would be at my house in 5 minutes, saying the driver had just left. He finally shows up at 1:00pm, 20 minutes past my delivery time.
When I answer the door, before I can even say something, the driver automatically starts mumbling about the pizzas being wrong and that he had a free dessert for me. The pizzas we ordered were a pepperoni, bacon and mushroom, and the other was a vegetarian with onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, and jalapeños. When I asked him to see the pizzas he handed them to me, I opened the 1st one and it was ground beef and something else, and when I opened the 2nd pizza it was identicle to the first one.
I was still also holding the "free" dessert and I told him this isn't even close to what I ordered. I immediately told him to go back and get me the pizzas I ordered. He demanded the dessert back and I threw it back to him.
I then called the store and was immediately told that the driver had screwed up and delivered our pizzas to the wrong address. I asked them why I was not told he had done so when I had called to ask about the status of my delivery to begin with, they had no answer for me. They then said they could either give me store credit (which I've had promised to me before and then was never given the credit) or have them remake my order and wait for it to be delivered. I asked if they could do both due to the serious inconvenience, and I had asked to speak to manager. Eric put me on hold came back and said they couldn't do both and I had to pick. I informed him the last time I was promised store credit they never gave it to me, and I didn't want to wait another hour for my food. I demanded they refund my credit card and was told it would take 5 days to refund and I said fine. Just do it.
I then called the customer service number, and spoke to a representative there. She appologized profusely stating that they should have at least given me a courtesy call to inform me the driver had screwed up, if he indeed was the one who screwed up. She told me that they were sending this to the district manager for the store to let them know the horrible treatment that I received and that I'd be receiving a phone call from them.
Odds are, I will never order from here again. If you order from them and they screw up, make sure to call and complain to their Customer Service Number at (800) 948-8488.
