Manager doesn’t know what he’s doing, I had to report on uber. My boyfriend and I ordered 2 pizzas and only got one. We called the store and the manager “pretended” to not find my order, well here’s the receipt sir! And I red flagged this location on UberEats! He was rude and told us we were making up this order and told us to come in person if we wanted any help. Thankfully uber refunded us the entire order. All we wanted was our pizza but Manager your arrogance costed you money. Do better.

My partner and I are convinced the majority of bad reviews are because people ordered the “Hand-tossed Pizza” and not the classic Pizza Hut we know — the “Original Pan Pizza”. We have ordered the Original Pan every single time and it’s been perfectly cooked every time. Not pictured, but highly recommend: cheese Original Pan customized to “light” marinara sauce. The fried dough and cheese flavors stand out more with less marinara sauce.

This place is chaos every single time I go, with half a dozen plus people all crammed into the tiny store, waiting. The food has generally improved since opening, but generally improving from awful is still not where it should be. I've received orders of breadsticks and received no sauce on two occasions. On another occasion I received breadsticks that were literally just sticks of bread with none of the seasoning or anything on them. Ordered a bunch of pizza for a party and it was all so burnt that it was basically inedible. It's almost always something. I reached out to their Twitter customer service the first few times there were issues, but even they got tired of it and told me to reach out to the store directly, as if it were possible to get a hold of anyone there.

This is the worst Pizza Hut I have ever dealt with in my life. Over 2 hours of wait for them to cancel my order because they forgot. the employees are super rude and unprofessional. Oh and by the way don’t expect them to refund your money even though they cancel your order after you call them to find out where is it.

Please I beg everyone to not order from here. I ordered a regular cheese pizza and it made me and my family get food poisoning. I should have listened to my wife , she said the cheese smelled spoiled. Who ever running this place is disgusting

Ordered on the app for pickup. Advertised 15 minutes but waited an additional 15. My breadsticks didn’t come with marinara and only half of my breadsticks came with toppings. THAT I COULD LIVE WITH. What is truly inexcusable is the raw chicken we were served masquerading as boneless barbecue wings.

Where do I begin with what might possibly be the worst Pizza Hut in America. This store constantly messes up orders (I ordered a supreme pizza as seen in the receipt for the pizza compared to the meatball that I got) is consistently an hour or more delayed in delivery of the food, and has their phone line disconnected as soon as your press 3 to try and connect to the restaurant directly. This is honestly the most disappointing Pizza Hut I’ve ever been to or ordered from. What a shame that this is the only Pizza Hut in Manhattan, clearly corporate oversight is nonexistent as can be evidenced by the pictures from the other reviews as well as my own experiences from the two times I ordered from this store. The first was during the recent Super Bowl, so I wanted to give the store the benefit of the doubt…but when I ordered again on a normal weekday (3/15/23) night, the same delay, issues, and lack of resolution from anyone at the store or through corporate. I was craving the Pizza Hut taste from childhood, but I should have realized this particular store is the epitome of failure and nothing is going to be fixed anytime soon. Do yourself a favor and do not order for delivery at this store. You’re going to be in an endless loop with the automated phone line and corporate all to get incorrect, room temperature food about an hour after the slated delivery time. Edited (3/16/23): I did get a hold of their corporate line and while they were effusively apologizing when offering a refund, nothing the phone operator said gave me any assurance that corporate would be following up with this store. I just wouldn’t risk ordering delivery from this place. Maybe it’s better in-person for pick-up, but delivering 2 avenues over is too much for this nascent store at this time.

I ordered a big order earlier today, it finished up extremely fast, by the time i arrived my order was ready to go. the cashier was also very nice. my food is delicious. Everything i ordered came out great and i devoured it all

Supposedly they close at 3am. We arrived at 2:25 and stood in line. At 2:40 we were told they aren't serving anyone else. Why allow us in and have us stand in line for 20 mins!?? Too many other options around to treat people like this.

I know, you can't expect the best from chain pizza restaurants but I at least expect the food to be hot/warm when I receive it. The pizza was cold and wasn't even full cut. Do yourself a favor, and just go to a normal pizzeria, or just get Dominos.

Stay away. Called to place an order, they said they don't take phone orders and to place on Uber Eats or Seamless. Their pricing on seamless and Uber Eats is DOUBLE their menu pricing. Pizza Hut is a SCAM.

I was expecting a pie but this was a bit better, I got two mini stuff pizzas melts . One with chicken and one with/ meat lovers melts w/ Marano sauce. The price was under $10 so I got this deal ' no drink with this deal. Buy I might got for this again '

Pizza Hut has opened on 8th Avenue between 55th and 56th Streets, a block already containing a McDonald's, Wendy's, Popeyes, Dave's Hot Chicken, and several other restaurants. That's just on the eastern side. There's no shortage of food options nearby, and now, there's a Pizza Hut. I decided to order a pizza, despite the imaes in my head of Michael Scott and Sbarro. Large 3-topping pan pizza deal on the app saved me nine dollars, making the pie relatively affordable. A timer counted down fifteen minutes, and my order was ready when I arrived. Sentimental memories of elementary school Book It! redemptions were, themselves, redeemed. Doughy crust, tangy tomato sauce, and a sprinkling of my three chosen toppings. The mozzarella cheese has never been Pizza Hut's strong point, and the topping coverage was just passable, but overall the pizza was satisfying. (And only 400 calories a slice!) For fast food aficionados (and, I'm sure, many a hungry visitor), this new Pizza Hut is a godsend. While we mourn our beloved neighborhood spots that have shuttered their doors, we may yet be able to make room in our hearts for the limited edition Big New Yorker, a "16'' New York-inspired pizza that has 6 XL, foldable slices." The savings you reap from using the app's rewards program will keep you going through this long winter.

This review isn't about this location it's about Pizza Hit Pizza in general. This location is very clean and always busy when I walk by and the staff was very nice when I picked up my order. I never had Pizza Hut before. I like thin pizza so always stayed away. I saw that Pizza Hut came out with a new thin crust pizza and had a promo coupon so gave it a try. I like Dominos thin crust on occasion and expected this to be similar. The new thin tavern Pizza Hut pizza is said to have a garlic flavor but I didn't taste any garlic and thought it is bland in flavor. The crust tastes like the flavor of eating raw uncooked pasta. Not as flavorful as Dominos thin crust. I got my pizza for $8 promo but the actual price is around $18 before you add any toppings. In NYC for that price you can have so many better pies from non chain places.

Okay so excited because as I child and young adult I love this place. I missed it since they closed on 34th street. And it didn't disappoint the pizza was great hot and fresh. I also had the wings and they were amazing. I was a little worried because the reviews weren't great but I beg to differ. I ordered there and waited but it was worth it. Everything was so good. I will return untill they open one closer to me.

First of all , this location always gets my order wrong. I keep it simple no extra notes! Yet I get my food either under or not enough on condition! On atmosphere, workers there always don't know what's going on.

The first time I ordered from here they hadn't even started making our food at the delivery time. They eventually gave us the food but without any sauces. The second time the delivery was fast, but again no side sauces, not even those we paid extra for. There are far better pizza options in this neighborhood.

Reminds me of my childhood and eating at Pizza Hut when it first opened in my hometown. Was always excellent and this location didn't disappoint. I ordered delivery to Chelsea and it arrived hot and in good condition.

It was a terrible experience. We order a vegetarian pizza and we were delivered a non - veg It's such a shameful thing that we have been served wrong food which we don't eat. It was a nightmare

We have been to this Pizza Hut 3 times without making a purchase, and we tried SO hard to buy something! The first time, the lights and sign were on and the door was unlocked but when we entered the staff let us know they were not yet open. The second time, we attempted to order pasta which was shown on the menu. No one at the restaurant was able to tell us what kind of pastas there were, and insisted on a wait time longer than 15 minutes. The third time, we asked for individual slices of pepperoni pizza which should be the SIMPLEST task for a pizza restaurant but this Pizza Hut was unable to fulfill it. I can't imagine a pizza place that can not offer their customer pasta or pizza on three occasions. We are very disappointed by this restaurant, and were so looking forward to it when we saw it being built.

Do not order from here! I have attempted to order from here twice and each time I did not receive the order. I forgave them the first time because it was the Super Bowl and figured they were swamped. Called corporate customer support and got my refund. However, the second time on a random weekday? Get it together! Trying to call the store is also futile because they do not answer and end the call when you're on hold.

Terrible I ordered breadsticks that had no seasoning were dried out and burnt and missing marinara sauce and got a burnt pizza. This place is a mess do not order from here they need to figure it out.

pizza was not as ordered. took an hour and a half at 8p on a random Sunday. Delivery guys do not bring food to your door. Do not waste your time, the nostalgia is not worth the pain in the ass.
