"A disclaimer on the menu warns that you cannot get jeans at this Ponce City Market food stall, but pizza slices are fair game. Classic margherita, pepperoni, and five-cheese slices range from $4.50 to $6.50 for the Mall Slice. We usually get the Mall Slice because it’s bigger than the paper plate it’s served on. The melted mozzarella sits on top of a tomato sauce that doesn’t overpower the cheese and a sturdy sourdough crust that doesn’t get droopy. So when you want a decent slice and a reasonably priced beer, there’s always a bar seat available at Pizza Jean’s vinyl stickers-covered counter." - nina reeder, juli horsford
"Uses playful, attention-grabbing menu placement for novelty items — cited example is the 'Mall Slice,' positioned where the eye naturally travels and treated with distinct shapes, color, and white space so it reads as a featured, must-try item." - Avery Centrella
"Pizza Jeans brings a little punk to PCM with old-school pizzeria lights and an order counter covered in pop culture stickers. And noisy garage band music blasting from the speakers helps to drown out the frenzy of tourists and suburbanites just outside the stall. While their good-enough pies aren't making it onto any best pizza list, they sell by the slice, so you can grab something quick and get back to shopping. Snag a beer and a $6.50 mall slice—it’s super cheesy with a crust that perfectly balances softness and crunch, and it’s so big it hangs over the paper plate it’s served on." - juli horsford, nina reeder, jacinta howard
"Walk by this pizza stall in Ponce City Market and your ears are immediately assaulted by noisy garage band music. There's also old-school pizzeria lighting fixtures combined with an order counter covered in pop culture stickers that jump from the Rat Pack to Notorious B.I.G. Then, workers behind the counter start tossing up huge circles of dough as if the visually and audibly loud venue needed a wee bit more to overstimulate. While you can order a whole NYC-style pie, most people (including us) opt for a giant slice, which you can top with the usual options. And that's why keep Pizza Jeans in mind when want to pop in for a quick, tasty slice after a BeltLine stroll. photo credit: Amy Sinclair photo credit: Amy Sinclair photo credit: Amy Sinclair Pause Unmute" - Juli Horsford
"The lone pizzeria at Ponce City Market reopened at the end of 2022 in its new location on the first floor of the central food hall. Backed in part by James Beard-nominated baker Chris Wilkins, Pizza Jeans offers giant mall slices and whole pies in classic flavors like margherita, five cheese, and pepperoni with the option to add additional toppings. The crusts on these pizzas alone are worth the trip to PCM, as are the sub rolls that hold the contents of the hearty sandwiches. Mall slices are large and in charge, coming in at $5 each. (Think two slices in one.) Expect cocktails, beer, wine, and frozen drinks from the bar. The stall also features counter seating and is open for takeout and delivery." - Eater Staff
