Pizza is just like my hometown, NYC. And the gentleman is from Brooklyn like me. Definitely will return to eat more.

We love this place. Sitting outside with wine and pizza is nice. We always share a huge Greek Salad and split a large pizza ( Bianca with spinach and tomatoes) or a delicious entree. The staff are very courteous, like the fun part of the family, and super clean. Always a winner. We bring our 95 year old mother too and she parties like the rest of us. I had a very disappointing experience at this pizza place today. I placed my order online through their website, which directed me to Seamless. The confirmation said my order would be ready at a certain time, so I went to pick it up. When I arrived, the restaurant had about 3 people waiting, I waited around but no one acknowledged me for several minutes. Eventually, one employee told me someone else was “taking care of me,” even though she had been standing at the counter the entire time without acknowledging me. I told the gentleman no no one is taking care of me yet he said yeah yeah she is. After more waiting, same employee finally said my pizza would be ready in five minutes. I continued to wait, but nothing happened. Then, suddenly, they told me they never received my order at all and insisted I should have placed it directly with them. This was very frustrating because their own website had redirected me to Seamless. To make matters worse, I overheard the staff saying it would take another 30 minutes if they started the order now, and one of them even said, “If she doesn’t like it, refund her.” Umm excuse me?? How unprofessional is that ? Mind you this place is alright not even the best out there but I had promise my toddlers pizza and it was already 8pm! I said go ahead and refund me and I left. I know exactly what happened no one checked the iPad and didn’t see the order not to mention the gentleman was convinced the order came in through grub hub after I showed him PROOF on my email and text message! I had a text message that my order was ready. Either they gave my pizza to the wrong person or clearly these employees have no idea what they are doing. Another note this could have been avoided if I would have been addressed and welcomed from when i walked in. Truly a horrible experience!!! Definitely the new management neeeds a training Overall, the lack of communication within employees, poor customer service, and complete disregard for my time was extremely disappointing. They didn’t even offer free garlic rolls or a free pizza!! I won’t be returning

Very attentive staff - they had asked me if I was content with the bake of my pie and returned it for more time after I asked for it to cook a little longer… something I have never been asked from a mom and pop pizzeria. Pies are excellent - sauce and ingredients are top notch. Will return without question!

Good comfort food at an equally good price. Got two satisfying cheese slices for under $8. For the food quality, the slices were deliciously greasy. The tomato sauce is not noticeable in flavor, and the mozzarella cheese is soft in flavor. The best part of the pizza is the crust: perfect toast on the bottom crust and a fresh dough mouthfeel. Definitely would come back to try out their other menu items in the future.

Delivery was in a timely sched. Food was not good. The chicken wings were with lots of sauce,but poor quality. Tasted old. The pizza was a failure. Ordered the 22" with pepperoni ham and pineapple. Very poor. Cheese is to be hunted. Never again. Close to 70 usd for a 22" pizza, wings and 3 toppings and a failure of a dinner. Lost client

Friendly and pleasant customer service! Fast made to order pizza. We got the Four Meats Pizza in the XL size. Very flavorful, and slices are huge which is great to share. Old school mom and pop kinda of place, pizza at it’s finest. About $25 plus tax, but it’s worth it because the ingredients fresh and the people are friendly.

My local pizza shop for a few years now. I usually get a whole pie and there spaghetti carbonara or once in a while. I'll just stop by for a slice never disappoints. Johnny is great and the staff is always helpful. A taste of Brooklyn on sunset.

I have to say that I would've been a life long customer. My husband and I truly love this pizza. Today he ordered a pizza over the phone and they grabbed our number and told us to come at a specific time frame. He went to pick it up and they had no record of it. You know what.. fine it happens. My husband then waits more than an hour and when he asks about the pizza.. guess what.. they have no clue about it. He was waiting right there. In front of all the employees and nothing. I also have to mention, I called to speak to management a young employee stated that there were too many orders to handle and hung up the phone on me. All he needed to do was write it down and hopefully get a manager to call me back. To be honest, I am not doing this for anything for free, I am truly just disgusted and truly sad that I will never be able to come back here. I really hope you use this and take this experience to train on how to better deal with situations like this. This happened on 2/7/25 roughly between 5-7pm.

Delicious and authentic. Ordered here because we were hanging out with friends and kids and wanted to get some good pizza that was not part of a chain. It was well worth picking up the pizzas. We had three large and everyone loved it! Especially the kiddos.

Terrible experience. No one knew how to enter a gift certificate. No manager to resolve issue. It's disappointing that a business you're loyal to can't resolve a simple issue.

Used to be very good a few years ago but now it's a hit or miss. Ordered a carbonara and was disappointed because it's made with cream onion ham bacon , very sad for an Italian owner. Guanchale Romano eggs a little pasta water to thicken sauce. That's the real way to make it. Also new employees Are terrible. There's a tip jar on counter in front of the shop it's not for employees owner doesn't tip his employees and keeps for himself. That's against Florida Work Laws .

My friend has been telling me about Pizza Johny for a while so we finally decided to try it on Monday. We ordered the 5 cheese white pizza! It was delicious! Even the crust which I normally throw away!! If you're craving pizza, give them a try. You won't be disappointed!

If you're looking for a slice and a coke, it doesn't get better than pizza Johnys. I can't think of a better place for just a slice. The inside is very cool and nostalgic of an old school pizza Joint, but it's also very hot in there and if it's busy, it becomes very difficult to eat at the bar. All in all I highly recommend them and will probably see you there if you stop in! It's great pizza.

Great little neighborhood pizza spot. They also sell slices so you do t have to buy the entire pie. Highly recommended. Service was fast and friendly!

Update: we filed dispute with our bank & $38.78 was refunded. We had the documentation to prove our purchase timing, phone calls. We also had Johnny's Pizza's employee's name who verified receiving online order at the time we called to cancel our order, which helped our case. All resolved with $ refunded.

Pizza was sooo delicious! My fiancé and I placed a take out order in person. We each tried a slice there and ended up dining in for how good the pizza was lol I definitely recommend. Plus service is great and the wall decor is pretty dope. 100% coming back and ordering the XL instead.

We had a mix up with an Uber order and the gentleman helped us with our order here :) definitely will be coming back!

Great selection best vegan pizza in town! Had a vegan cheese and a regular cheese, as a lactoseectolerant person I appreciate all the different cheese options

Presentation good. Service was quick. Once got home, what we had ordered was incorrect. Ordered spaghetti and meatballs with extra meatballs. Only one meatball was provided. Few weeks ago the same ordered was made and had 3 meatballs as indicated. Called in and spoke to someone and stated that s credit will be provided. Still waiting for it???? Hope they improve,

We love Pizza Johnny's pizza! The crust is perfection. I tend to order to go because have had bad experiences with delivery drivers but nonetheless back to the food... the garlic rolls are so yummy and you can even order them stuffed with pepperonis. The pasta is decent shared the chicken alfredo. We love the deserts as well. This place can get busy over the weekends so be mindful of that, especially during dinner time.

I used to come here and enjoyed the pizza. Well, last few visits were terrible. I came in a few weeks ago, ordered a large pie and 2 slices of Sicilian. Saw the pizza maker put the Sicilian slices in the oven. Paid my order and NEW cashier gives me my order. I came home to a large pie and 2 regular slices. Called up immediately and was told I can have my Sicilian slices credited. Spoke with a thin tall manager showing him my receipt and he basically tells me it's not his problem. So, I happen to order more pies for my house, address my problem with the owner and he looks annoyed at me (as I have the order ready to show on my phone) and tells the cashier give it to her next time. He hid in the back and wouldn't come back out. Anyways, without telling my family my niece orders a Hawaiian pizza and it was a dumped can of pineapple on the pizza couldn't pick it up soggy! I will never do business with this place again! There are more pizza parlors in the area. 2 brothers and mikes pizza where you get great customer service and not a nasty attitude from the owner. If I order a product and I didn't get it and have proof, I should get it. NOT NEXT TIME!

Not bad but not fantastic! I like it but do not love it, they do however over very unique selections such as prosciutto, and arugula pizza which is my fiancés favorite.

Good NY style pizza, pasta dishes and sandwiches. Long counter and tables outside. Order at the counter and grab a table or spot on the counter.

This place is like a taste of home and there are no posers here. The owner is the real deal. He knows the big apple like the back of his hand and he'll prove it to you. Ask him to name all the bridges. While you're there don't forget the Italian ice. Amazing flavors that take me back to when I was 6 years old with my grandmother on 103rd st off Roosevelt.

Amazing authentic New York style pizza very kind staff, easy ordering, and fast service

One of the best pizzas I've had. My kids loved it, we have been here twice and are definitely coming back. The staff is great and friendly. Their desserts are amazing !! Highly recommend them as well. Can't wait for their indoor seating to open up next door. We will definitely be coming by at least once or twice a week when that happens.

Ordered some pizza to kill my pizza craving last night. It was very quick only took 20 minutes, everyone was very nice and friendly. We ordered a simple pepperoni pizza for carry out just to give it a try, this was our first time trying it. The pizza was amazing! I really liked the sauce they used, it reminded me of original New York pizza. Also I liked that it wasnt too greasy on the crust.

My husband and I drive 40 minutes to eat Pizza Johnys Sicilian pizza, always delicious, best in South Florida. And the people are always amazing!

We love the pizza!!!! So so much! But... the pasta falls so short! We ordered shrimp scampi and chicken parm. I don't think they use any seasoning or salt tbh. If they'd up their game on the pasta, we'd be so thrilled!

So it doesn't look like much from the outside, but this pizza is great! Definitely meant for pick up or delivery, since it's a bit tiny inside. The staff is super friendly. I don't think I've ever waited more than 30 mins when ordering ahead. The pizza is super tasty. Not too much sauce. Just enough cheese. And the dough crisps up on the edges without that burnt taste. Personal favorite for me is sausage and mushroom, but chicken and bacon is a close second. Ask for it Extra toasted on the bottom; the perfect pizza! The garlic knots aren't bad, but you're really there for the pizza.

Wow. This has to be the best pizza I have had in a while. Definitely the best pizza I have had in Miami. The dough was fluffy and thin at the same time, with the perfect amount of sauce and cheese. I had never had eggplant on pizza but I will be ordering this every time. You now have a loyal customer!

Best stromboli south of Philly! Service is always great. The pizzas are also delicious in the traditional New York style. But, in my opinion, the stromboli is the best bang for your buck.

Very bad as of lately sauces tasteless rock.hard garlic bread which broke a tooth , onions in carbonara it has none , no ham too cream based sauce very watery doesnt stick to the pasta , Romano eggs make guancalle make the real.carbonara this is an american version . Ps workers hate cubans including the owner.

This restaurant never disappoints. The service is impeccable, the staff is always nice and friendly, and especially the owner! We have tried just about everything on the menu, the appetizers- wings, pepperolies, garlic bread, mozzarella sticks, and the homemade tomato basil soup. The pastas- red, white, and pink sauce. The PIZZAS- YUM!!! All beyond delicious. I have no doubt that everything on the menu is great. We have very few things left to try. I highly recommend this restaurant. Almost forgot- for catering- very good pricing and you don't have to call a day in advance. Everyone compliments their food at our parties.

Tried for the first time. Definitely not a chain and they have the benefit of independence. The marinara sauce on both the meatball parmigiana and eggplant parmigiana was very tasty! The amount of Ricotta on the Eggplant parmigiana sandwich was more than generous. The staff is friendly and attentive. The only disappointment was the ratio of bread to meatballs on the meatball parmigiana sandwich as it was heavy on the bread and light on the meatballs. However, the meatballs were great. Suggest they enhance their website a bit, as it could use some more photos and/or menu descriptions (Ex. What are their World Famous Pepperoni & Cheese Bites? Didn't know what they were but likely would have ordered them with a bit more information). We will try the restaurant again and update the review.

Pizza was extra cheesy which is not totally a bad thing but a little too much grease. The fettuccine with chicken had zero flavor which is definitely a never order again unless they change the recipe. My wife had the chicken parm and was pretty good. All that being said a 3 star is a fair rating.

Absolutely delicious! Pizza, pasta, & salads! Wow! You can't go wrong. A must try! The staff is welcoming and worth the wait. Very little seating but the food is worth standing by up and eat or taking home! A hidden gem!

The grandma pie was the most delicious pizza I've ever had. Excellent! It has the cheese on bottom sauce on top very flavorful and cheesy.

Pizza is great, we get half cheese half pepperoni. We love their spaghetti carbonara with the melted cheese on top. And their pinwheels with pepperoni. We recommend this place. It's one of our favorite pizzas, especially if eaten right there.

Was in the mood for pizza and didn't want to drive out to my usual pizza place, so I decided to check if there were any local pizza shops near my place. Found Pizza Johnny's on Yelp and decided to give them a chance. I ordered delivery and received an email letting me know the pizza would be delivered in 60 minutes, however, it arrived in closer to 30 minutes, which was a nice surprise. Pizza arrived promptly and still piping hot. Very happy with the service and product. I think I found a new pizza place to order from, from now on! Seeing all the other food they offer on their Yelp page, I will definitely try some of their other Italian classics next time.

Quality has gotten down. Watery sauce on the Calzone and apparently they are cutting corners with the ingredients. The Calzone was burnt on the button. Didn't even call them when I got home because they do not want to take a loss on making a better one. I know because this was not the first time but I'm sure it will be the last. I'm not planning to go back again. I'm going to asume this place is under new owner/management.

I love this place, thin pizza made with love, their pastas are also delicious. The people that work there are all nice and work fast. This is not a seat and eat place it's mostly to go, sometimes they have 2 high tops outside but I havent seem them in a long time.

It's hard to find good NY style pizza in Miami. A few notable places have come and gone but Pizza Johny's beats them all. I'd be curious for Dave Portnoy to try a slice here. I think he'd judge it be very good and certainly the best in South Florida. There are other great pizza places in Miami. I can think of Steve's and Miami's Best right off the bat but they aren't really NY style. For that, you best bet is Pizza Johny's

One of my top pizza spots in Miami! The Mac n cheese bites are SO FIRE! The garlic rolls are very refreshing, not too pungent and not dry at all. The staff here is very respectful. I'm unsure if the older guy is the owner but he makes you feel so welcomed once you come in. He's very honest on what you should try when you have a craving. Very sweet! The prices here are VERY reasonable. Such a great experience with great food.

I've only ordered take out from here and the pizza is always great and so are the garlic rolls. On the phone, everyone has been friendly so far.

This is my second time going to Pizza Johny's. I went the first time about 3 or 4 years ago and was extremely pleased with the pizza and taste. Don't know why it took me so long to go back. That won't happen again...I will def go back more often. The owner Johny is friendly and welcomes all of his customers and asks how their food was. I like that. He seems genuine and you can tell he takes pride in his restaurant and products. I'm glad the store has expanded to double the size. Now there is more seating. I ordered a plain slice and a meat spiral. They came out quickly, were fresh, and hot. Both tasted amazing! I wish I lived closer because I would go there at least once a week. I'm interested in trying a lot of other things on his menu. The menu has a lot to offer...more than what I can remember from 3 or 4 years ago. I will be a loyal customer to Pizza Johny's. Authentic!
