"Despite being over 1,200 miles away, this is pretty darn close to a New York pizza. Few other shops (except maybe Ben’s, Joe’s, or Collins Pizza) come as close to a true New York slice as Johnny’s. The Sunset pie shop is decorated with subway signs, NYC maps, and an actual traffic light hanging above the slice display. But what makes this so true to New York-style pizza is the thin and snappy crust, stretchy cheese, and crunchy edge.
