Pizza Joint

Pizza Joint just opened in this food hall, and it is a great spot to grab a slice. I really enjoyed that you can get a New York, Sicilian, or Mini Deep Dish slice in just a few minutes. I had the mini deep dish which is a take on the Labriola deep dish with the focaccia dough and crispy cheese crust. It’s awesome that the crispy cheese crust wraps all the way around so you can get the best part in every bite. The quality is right up there with the actual pizza at Labriola, if not better because of the extra caramelized part. Definitely going to try the Sicilian and NY slices sometime, but it will be tough to resist the mini deep dish (also you can add burrata on top.. that would be incredible)

Handheld Deep dish is a must try. Other veggie deep dish I had was burnt a little. Overall it’s greta for a quick bite.

Sicilian slice was a bit dried out, thin crust pepperoni slice was solid It's slightly higher end pizza so more expensive for better flavor and texture, for the pepperoni thin crust slice at least Edit: The handheld mini deep dish is amazing too, better than the thin crust pepperoni slice even

The New York style or mini deep dish pizzas are filling and tasty.

Was thrilled that they opened this place. I live close to full service Michigan Avenue location but love that I can come here for a slice. I get the combination with their excellent Caesar salad. There are a lot of different kinds of pizza in Chicago. I firmly believe that Labriola is in the top 10. That's being conservative. I hope they never close this.

Went with a group of coworkers during the soft openings. Good food, and relatively reasonable price (after all we are in the loop), nice service. I am glad there's a GOOD pizza by slice place open near office. I will def be back :)
