Finding the last available four seats and rearranging our entire itinerary to make it work felt a little wild, but that’s exactly what I did. We started with the potato cacio e pepe and the homemade roast ham and arugula salad, both excellent ways to open the meal. From there we ordered the Bismarck 2.0, Red Hot Chili, Wagyu Bismarck with truffle paste, and the Japanese Umami. Every pie held its own, but the clear winner was the Japanese Umami. One bite in and the looks on our faces said it all. Even the chef noticed the collective reaction. It truly deserves every bit of praise it has received. To finish, we shared tiramisu, cheesecake, and affogato alongside Americanos, which wrapped up the meal perfectly. The pizzas were the undeniable stars, but sitting front row watching the chef and sous chef work, paired with genuinely excellent service, made this one of the most memorable meals of our trip. Do not hesitate to book a reservation and do what I did. Rearrange your plans if you have to. If you are lucky, you will land the bar seats and get the best view in the house. Thank you to Chef Motokura and the entire team for such a wonderful experience.

Best pizza I had in Japan to date. We went for "Margherita Marinara Half-Half" and "Japanese umami" since we wanted to try the classic and their Japanese take on pizza. The pizza dough were soft, chewy, bouncing, the kind you pick up and everything still stays intact with crispy burnt crust. The "Japanese umami" was very interesting; salty, mouthful umami and that fragrance from the bonito. If you're not a big fan of mackerel don't go for this one. Highly recommend if you're a pizza nerd in Tokyo (booking is recommended).

Drawn by the chef's ranking, we tried our luck on a Sunday morning to see whether we could get in without a booking. Arrived at 10:50 and there were two groups ahead of us. When they opened at 11, the groups without bookings were asked to step aside and wait while they seated the groups with bookings. We were the second group without a booking and they let us use the private room without extra charge. The room was quite small so I can't really give a fair rating for the atmosphere of the restaurant. I think it should feel much better in the main dining room but we were glad we got in. We ordered one pizza per person. The edges were crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The crust was very thin. I really liked that they offered variations with a Japanese twist. Extremely reasonably priced. Will definitely go again.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We absolutely adore Japanese cuisine, but after a few days, we were craving some classic comfort food, and this place delivered perfection with their pizza! We got incredibly lucky and walked in for lunch without a reservation, and the experience was flawless from start to finish. The service was exceptional—attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. Every dish was a delight, but the pizza? Hands down, some of the best we’ve ever had! Each bite was packed with flavor, and the quality was unmatched. If you’re looking for a spot to satisfy your comfort food cravings with top-notch service, this place is a must-visit!

I wasn’t planning on writing a review, but after thinking it over, here we are. I walked in without a reservation and was pleasantly offered a seat at the bar, which I didn’t mind. In fact, it came with a front-row view of the chefs working the pizzas, which I thought would be part of the charm. Unfortunately, it got awkward quickly. The chef interacting with guests on both sides of me, greeting them, making eye contact, acknowledging their presence, yet somehow managed to ignore me entirely. Not a glance. Not a word. It was impossible not to notice. Whether intentional or not, it made for a very uncomfortable dining experience. Now, to be fair, the restaurant is beautifully designed. Warm lighting, thoughtful decor, and an inviting atmosphere that makes you want to like the place. The pizza itself was good, solid, enjoyable, but nothing I’d write home about. Honestly, I went more for the aesthetic than the food, and in that sense, it delivered. Would I go back? Maybe. But next time, I’d definitely make a reservation… or prepare to roll the dice like I did.

A very high quality pizzaria in Tokyo. Everything was very excellent from the focaccia to the lemon cheesecake with Basque cream. The pizza was really really good and well garnished, the crust was very well cooked, thin and had no burn taste at all (which is important to me), the texture was very soft. For me it was perfect 😁. The price can be a little on the higher side for Tokyo but still less than Europe. And you get a very high quality service, a view of the chefs preparing the pizzas. For English speaker, have no worries the staff spoke English fairly well and had no problem understanding me or other clients so don't be afraid ! I recommend getting their early or have a reservation. A lot of people come to this place and it fills up really quick. However you can make a reservation directly at the restaurant once it is open.

The pizzas are light and fluffy. The outer crust is relatively thin, but crunchy and flavourful. No salt on the bottom, which I thought would have been nice. However, we had one very special Umami Pizza with bonito flakes, mackrel, shiitake mushrooms and spring onions (white base). That was a really interesting and delicious pizza, so much so that we came back two days later to have it again! The other pizza was a margherita topped with black pepper and prosciutto.. also very nice. I do recommend to book two months in advance or you need to hope to get some for takeaway like us! 8.75/10 🍕

We didn’t make any reservations on a Friday and restaurant was full. Luckily we manage to secure lunch slot for the next day. Food quality was good, ingredients are fresh and the pizza dough was thin and light. Service was great and felt like you are being taken care of once you step into the restaurant. There is like a standard procedure they follow.
