Pizza On Tap (P.O.T)

Ordered door dash 1st time. 1st experience. Pizza was soggy.. couldn't pick it up, floppy. I was looking for beef (nuggets) like how sausage comes not a hamburger pizza. Kinda ruined the whole thing to just be covered in hamburger. The onions we long thick slices. Again.. I used to be a mgr at a pizza restaurant and we had diced.. I would of preferred diced. Not sure if the mushroom were canned..couldn't find very many under the hamburger.. I ordered beef not hamburger. And holy olive.. it was saturated. There is no portion control in the kitchen. Again as a kitchen mgr.. portion control seems to be cost important. Overall I will never be back. Couldn't eat this soggy piece of whatever.. complete waste of 20 some$. On to the next restaurant. Idk why the crust couldn't be crunchy.. oh wait...too much sauce and too many toppings..

Oh my gosh! Delicious texture. I got one slice of cheese pizza one size of veggie pizza as soon as you bite into it, you just can’t stop eating it. The plain cheese one was freaking phenomenal. Went up there was no line, the cashier was very friendly tipped her just on customer service alone. They warmed up my slices and they’re just a perfect texture between soft and crispy. Got carried away with eating the cheese slice before even posting this review. I posted a picture of a Coca-Cola cat next to the slice just for size. They are very big slices. Definitely a good little hole in the wall place Definitely get bang for your buck! These two slices ran me like five dollars and the best part is are not super greasy. Edits: spelling & grammar. Wrote it as I was eating lol don’t come for me

My son & I ordered online. The website defaults to the Slice app on deliveries. If you do not choose your delivery option. We live pretty close. We ordered delivery due to a recent surgery. Well long story short. The slice driver stole the food. I never received it. The app listed as delivered and no food. I called POT. And after figuring out what had happened. The owner/manager Oscar. Realized my frustration and Offered to comp and remake my order & deliver it personally. Which he did. We just moved to the area and this is our go to pizza joint. That was great PR move. And every item we’ve ever tried on the menu is great. I will be spending a lot more money there. And BTW , Slice did offer me 50% off the delivery & tip. Not the bill. Which I laughed at. And stopped payment through my bank. They rendered 0% of services yet still wanted to be paid. Anyone with the slice APP , dump it and use someone else. I don’t do business with companies that do not take responsibility for there mistakes. Apparently, this has been an issue with slice drivers stealing customers food. Don’t use them folks. But this place , Pizza On Tap has 100% great customer service , great food. go and try it if you haven’t.

The pizza place was closing at 9:30 pm. Called at 9:15 pm and they still took our order. It was very friendly and quick service. Price was very reasonable for two large pizzas. Our party of 8 was hungry and enjoyed the pizza. The crust was good , not too thin or thick. Very good pizza.

The food is always great and great customer service my son and I enjoy coming here every week you need to try the spicy buffalo fries

Little hidden gem. if you haven't been here lately you should definitely stop by. Good weakly specials and amazing pizza. We like the pastas best and watching the Padres game. 10/10

Pizza was good. Price was great. Beer selection was a nice surprise. Quite a variety of local stuff and not all ipa. Pepsi products for the soft drinks. Lots of TV's and can get loud with people. Clean bathroom ( I only saw the ladies). Staff was very attentive and kind to us and their regulars. I forgot to take a picture of the pizza.

This is the best pizza spot in the TriCity area! My family and I always order the Hawaiian add jalapeños and it's fantastic every single time. You love a good cheese pull? Then this is the pizza you need in your life. The crust is absolutely phenomenal! Nice and crispy with some airiness. The rest of the pizza dough is on the thinner side so If you like thick doughy pizza this is not for you. Otherwise it's bomb and i highly recommend! The restaurant is super chill with sports vibes definitely somewhere awesome to watch the games and the service is great everything time. The owner is super nice and and the beers are awesome!

I frogging love the food from POT!! I order easily through the Yelp app, drive over and pick the order up, still hot when I get home! Cool sports vibe - but if there a loud talker - man you can here it! All in all a favorite go to spot for a slice, a pie, pastas, or even just one of their cold azz brews! Do yourself and your family a favor and drop in on this spot! Pro tip: get the Dank Pizza! It's for sure DANK!

South of the Border pizza. That's what you need to know. It's got chicken or chorizo (get the chorizo), beautiful slices of avocado, cheese, onions, tomatoes, jalapeños, and more. It's outstanding. You can get half and half pizzas and they offer many different varieties or just create your own. The mozzarella sticks appetizer was just ok. It's a small place with high energy. They've got TVs all around for sports viewing and the crowd is fun and lively. Based on the layout, and decades of me eating Mexican food, I swear this place had to have once been a taco shop. Interesting draft beers on tap. I tried the Elysian "Dank" Dust and it smelled EXACTLY like the abbreviation of this restaurant. Seriously. Get the South of the Border pizza with chorizo. Just do it.

Wow, just wow. This is the best pizza in Vista. The staff were very kind and you can taste the authenticity, love, and care. Cute local place and will have to come again!

First time trying Pizza on Tap and we are currently kicking ourselves for not broadening our horizons earlier. Firstly, it's affordable. A lot of pizza is affordable but PoT is delicious, goodness as well. For their largest garlic chicken and delivery it was just over $30. This pizza has been feeding our family for days. Whether fresh out of the box, reheated in the air fryer or straight from the fridge it never disappointed. Secondly, their customer service was top notch. Apparently I forgot our townhouse number and I received a friendly phone call from their delivery driver and I helped him find our front door. He was considerate and delivered with a smile. We will definitely order again and are likely to drop by to dine at the restaurant. This review is for anybody who wishes to hear my opinion...

Ate here for the first time because of the great reviews and reasonable prices. It was a great experience. Great food, friendly and helpful service and great atmosphere. Definitely had the friendly local vibe. Our family sat and talked for hours and we never felt rushed to leave. Will definitely go back and refer to others.

Great place to grab a quick beer and pizza by the slice. Pro tip: pint night on Wednesdays, $6 first pour and $4 refills rest of the night.

God I hate giving this place a bad review. The service was friendly, attentive, and 5 stars. I'm not much of a beer drinker, but I could easily tell that they were offering a very cool array of on tap micro-brews, and that will make a lot of people happy. 5 stars for that too. The prices were very reasonable. Thumbs up. There were lots of TVs, which was nice, esp if there are some good sports games on. At this time however, most of them were showing graphic horror/thriller type shows, so you have to be careful if you are going to bring kiddos. So why 3 stars? * The pizza is pretty bad. We're struggling eating the leftovers and I'm toying with giving them a 1-way ticket to the compost bin. Bad toppings, bad sauce, bad quality, bad taste. The salad was really bad too. I am sure the Caesar salad we ordered came with ranch dressing, or a Caesar so cheap it tasted like ranch. * The ambiance. Specifically, the clientele. How do I say this nicely, without offending, or coming across wrong? I don't think I can. A very blue collar at best, very loud, wouldn't bring home to meet your mom, truck driver at best type clientele. Take that for what it's worth. I got the sense that they were all regulars. The lady at the front desk was so incredible, and this is probably a family business. I really hope they do well. The other reviews are really good, so I am probably the outlier.

Haven't had the pizza, but sandwhichs are great! Pros: Very good sandwich and great bread! Loved the works! I'll have to go back for the homemade chic parmesan sandwich. Order all 6", not sure but their ruler must be broken, they were large! Cons: Not sure if its' really a negative, but it took 15min+ to make our sandwhich's. But well worth the time!

I recommend grabbing one of their specialty slices. Their lunch special included two slices and a beer. Not bad. Nice SoCal hole in the wall dive vibes. But we made the mistake of ordering two custom pizzas (one sausage and one pepperoni) and they messed up our order. We ended up with two very mediocre pepperoni pizzas. If you're gonna order a pizza from them, just go with their specialty pizzas. Those are worth it. Even if you aren't familiar with all the ingredients.

This is the kind of pizza I grew up with. Great hand tossed crust, airy and thick! It was delicious We sat and watched the game on the big screen while the kids watched Harry Potter or something on the other screens - great vibes even better people. The server brought our drinks - they gave a great selection of beers on tap - highly recommend you try your hand (drink responsibly) Definitely will be going back!!! Incase you didn't catch the innuendo Pizza on tap = POT they're 4/20 friendly.

Had to stop by this place and give them a try because they keep popping up on my feed. The best thing about this place was the service. I also dig the small around the corner pizza shop vibe. Unfortunately the pizza was a miss for me. I ordered a slice of the pepperoni and sausage and felt like I was eating a slice from Costco. I'm not saying Costco pizza is bad but it's not 4 1/2 star pizza. I noticed some people mentioning south of the border pizza? Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing? I'm giving them a 4 for now but will be back to try another type. If I have the same impression I will need to drop them down to a 3.

3.5 stars so rounding up to 4. We got the Cali Pizza and the BBQ chicken pizza. The Cali Pizza was pretty good, but the BBQ chicken pizza was hard to eat. We ordered the pizzas for pick up and they were ready upon arrival. The workers were friendly and I could tell they were working hard for their customers. However, with the pizza just being average, we won't come back.

I came with my family and the food was delicious. We had a salad and the BBQ chicken pizza. The ranch was so creamy and a perfect addition with the pizza. The restaurant was clean with a happy atmosphere. The cashier was very nice and helpful. All in all we all enjoyed and devoured the tasty pizza. This pizza will be our new family spot, best pizza around. We live in Oceanside and haven't found our favorite pizza place, so glad we found this hidden gem nearby.

Pizza was ok. Not a very Italian flavor for the Pizza sauce. Crust was decent Maybe I'll try a different one next time

Bought a voucher on Local Flavor from this establishment and took a friend there for dinner last night prior to seeing the Wonka movie. The service was wonderful, this was our first time, and a male employee kindly kept checking that we had what we needed. Ordered the small veggie pizza, thin crust, and friend ordered a small bruschetta pizza, also thin crust. Both pizzas had ample ingredients and were nongreasy. This place totally hit it out of the park.

Love the food. Love the atmosphere. Love the staff. Try the South of the border Pizza. So bomb.

We have only tried a couple of pizzas (south of the border and a build your own) but great sauce to toppings ratio. Service so friendly. The wings are baked right now bc the fryer is down and they are amazing, fall off the bone. I only want them like this!

Me and my friend went here to eat for lunch on Saturday. We ordered the meat lover pizza with light cheese the next day I had an upset stomach and wasn't feeling good.

This place is seriously a hidden gem. We absolutely are obsessed with the South of the Border pizza. They have a pretty cool family deal on Saturdays that comes with a pizza, pasta and salad. We haven't tried the CBD added to the pizza but I think that it cool that the offer that option. I am so glad they are so close and affordable and delicious too! Can't wait to try more on the menu.

Pepperoni pizza was on point , I enjoyed a beer while waiting and the service was fast. They have big tv's which is great. I Will definitely be back.

Was blown away by how tasty this pizza was. Not expecting much and was just looking for a quick bite after a trip to Costco but this was so freaking good we can't wait to go back again! Definitely one of our favorite local spots now.

I ordered delivery through Grubhub and it was delicious and timely! 1. Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings - great crunch, flavor was delicious. Wings were coated with garlic oil and parm shavings; No thick sauce, which I loved! Def will order again. 2. Spicy Buffalo French Fries - tasty fries. The buffalo sauce & ranch were packed separately so the fries weren't soggy upon arrival. Good move! Maybe a tad too much mozzarella, but very good. I will definitely order from here again, especially the wings. They were so good!

This is place is awesome. Went here for the first time tonight to watch the Padres. The workers here are super friendly and the food is excellent. We had the south of the border pizza with chorizo and it went way beyond my expectations (did not expect to enjoy Avocado on a pizza). I also like that they are so kid friendly. They have markers, coloring books, and games to use. We have been looking for a go to neighborhood pizza spot for a while and I think we've found it.

So I consider myself a pizza connoisseur. I've had pizza from many different places, wood fired, thick crust, thin crust new york, detroit, Chicago deep dish, Guinness book of world record Pizza etc etc. So it takes a good pizza to really impress me and let me tell you the Hawaii with added pepperoni really impressed me.. the dough was nice crunchy but was chewy and soft, the sauce was exactly what a sauce is supposed to taste like enough cheese to cover the whole pizza and the toppings were more than a lot of other pizza places they do not skimp on the toppings. Overall this was a very good pizza and I will definitely come back again.

Wow, this pizza is absolutely THE BEST!!! The pizza dough has a bit of a sour dough flavor with a crispy texture. Not at all over bready. We ordered gorilla glue pizza, dank chicken pizza and wings. Everybody went crazy over the pizza, but the wings were really delicious, too!

Came here by mistake, thought we ordered from Big Bobs but ooopps we didn't and that was a bummer as the pizza was just okay at best. Starters nobody following Covid protocol which that's just wrong cooks cashier no mask and no gloves. Sausage is a very low quality. Sauce on the pie is like non existent, asked for it to be well done and the dough was still gummy and raw... not sure how this place gets such great reviews it really isn't that good it's just okay at best... won't be back, I don't like to repeat mistakes! And the pizza was a mistake!!

I thought why not check it out because of the reviews, I was surprised that the customers are satisfied with the pizza crust, but NOT ME. There are out there to have homemade pizza crusts that taste a lot better. Again, this is my sincere opinion.

Very happy with the taste and size of everything! The guy that took our order was super cool and friendly! He even told us we were able to get two kinds of pizza split on one!! I got 1/2 S.O.B and 1/2 Hawaiian! My friend got 1/2 Meat lovers and 1/2 Dank Chicken! All so good. I will recommend and return! Thanks guys!

Finally came to check this place out. The Yelp reviews are great and I see they often have Honey Hips on tap, so it was really a no-brainer. My family and I came here on a Saturday for lunch. This area in Vista is not the greatest by no means. Pizza On Tap occupies a space in a strip mall here, marked only by a sign and one glass door flanked by a wheelchair-accessible ramp...which is odd because you are forced to walk down to ramp opening in order to enter. The place is small but there are a few tables. All the seating is padded which is nice. Is it a little tight so I would have backup plans if you bringing a large group here to eat. We ordered a large pizza, half-pepperoni and half "South of the Border" - basically a Mexican style pizza with chorizo and avocado with ranch dressing drizzled on-top. I didn't even think to request a hot sauce to add to the pizza! They should suggest that when ordering to kick it up a notch. We also ordered the buffalo chicken fries - wow, so good! I think we could back and just eat this and we would be quite full when leaving. We spoke to Mike the owner quite a bit who sat at the table next to us...who was great to talk to. When ordering, he even "warned" us of getting the large pizza since was bigger than we may have expected. It was. We had a hard time getting the pizza box in our fridge! We do want to come back to try the wings, which I heard were quite tasty. Also, they have a special for the afternoons: $50 off any appetizer and $2 off any beer, between 11am and 5pm. And you can order 2 slices and a drink for $5.99 and upgrade to include a beer for only $2. Great deals.

To make it short and sweet, the food is pretty good, but the ranch is TERRIBLE. It tastes like store bought, but watered down ranch.

Pizza is not great, place is not using good covid-19 Protection with lady wearing just a bandanna. Rest of the patrons were all not wearing any masks in very small room. Cook not wearing any gloves or mask while preparing food.

In SD for a few days. Yellow Deli was closed and let me tell you I am glad they were because we found this place and they are incredible! I don't do yelp reviews but I had to show this place some love. The lady at the register was so nice! The pizza was good! And this is a 4/20 friendly place where they'll put CBD in your pizza for an extra charge. I mean just go here!

This was my first time and the S.O.B. with chorizo was recommended. This pizza was a perfect balance of amazing flavors! Their cheese, marinara, and crust are right on point. The service was also friendly and we had a great time watching football. I'll definitely be back to try their other menu items! :)

We went to the beach and looked up a place to eat on Yelp and came across this one so we decided to go on the way home. We do not live in the area . April greeted us right away and gave my child some crayons and books to color and started chatting with us . We ordered pizza and fettucini and both were so good ! Very happy to have spent money here and we will be going back when we are back in the area!!!

I love this place! It's right next to my house, literally in walking distance. I go here decently often. Amazing prices and amazing quality. I'm never not full when I eat here and always happy.

Oh my. The pizza was cooked perfectly, crunchy on the bottom, soft in the center of the crust, fresh pepperoni and sausage, melt in your mouth goodness. The wings were hot and fresh and not over cooked which can happen often. The beer selection is just the right amount to quench your thirst and the staff couldn't be friendlier.

For a small pizza place it has a good wine selection and at a great price, food is yummy, the staff is amazing. Not to mention the beer choices are on point with $2 off all pints during happy hour, love this place!
