Pizza Plus Review - South Philly - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"Pizza Plus has the same crispy Detroit-style pies as their sister restaurant Circles + Squares, now you just don’t have to venture past North Broad to get them. Here, the deep dish pizzas are round and they load doughy and spongy slices with buffalo chicken, homemade pesto, or plenty of melty cheese for $25 and under. It’s a great spot to call for takeout and get your order in under 20 minutes, whether you’re grabbing some chicken parm with tangy tomato sauce or a meatball sub." - Candis R. McLean

Bought two pepperoni slices and 2 garlic knots for 12 bucks the pizza itself was OK but not for 5 dollars a slice .. and the garlic knots were clearly old, Mexican guy had an attitude when I showed him they were dry and old

Pizza was ok. Below average tasting pizza. It was edible but didn't have much flavor at all. Small spot with very few tables. Service was great. They do not accept debit or credit card which was a huge inconvenience especially since they didn't have an ATM.

Pizza slices are huge and they put it in the oven after you choose what you want. Very cheesy. Affordable

Never again. I think 17.00 for this was too much. I believe he overcharged me. It was 4 slices, 5 pieces of Buffalo wings, 3 garlic knots, and marinara sauce. I tried calling and their number is temporarily disconnected. Huge dismay! Shame on you for exploiting El Barrio's residents. Shame, shame, and more shame.

Anne Hathaway did not spit in my food.

Google
Credit where it's due for having dough thick enough to withstand a sausage & pepperoni 🍕 slice, & high quality fresh ingredients as well.

Pizza is great but the rest of the other food isn't good nor worth spending your money on. Speaking of spending, the prices are way too high for food that tastes like trash. I only buy pizza from here because it's the best out of other pizzerias in the neighborhood. Customer service is ok but definitely needs improvement.

I had to stop eating here due to a guy touching his phone and then ask me what I wanted to order so I gave him my order thinking he was going to wash his hands and put some gloves and did the total opposite. So I suggest if you want to clean food don’t eat from pizza plus cause they don’t wear gloves or wash there hands.

I just got Super over charged for what was supposed to be a lunch special. The lier behind the counter charged me $14.50, for a lunch special. I told him that I learned my lesson and will never be back. I just sent out a mass email to all my office co-workers (800 plus co-workers), and they all promise to never eat there again either. Plus the food is not that great... Karma sucks.

Yelp
me and my mother alway went to this pizza store for years and today my mother went in and stated how her pizza was burnt when it clearly was and had an attitude towards it maybe he had a bad day but he took the pizzas and threw them out in front of her

Yelp
Don't go here for the pizza. Their pasta is so so as well. But what to get here is the Zeppolis. So so good. They also have good wings. Their calzones are really just carbs and cheese (which is good). They are heavy handed with their cheese too (which I like). Their garlic knots are average. However, they deliver fast, are cheap, and a great local pick when you are craving the above. Definitely recommend locals trying it or people who come here routinely. Don't come out of your way though unless you have business around 125th

Yelp
Don't go here. You'll be wasting time and money for bad quality and rude service. Trust me and read the reviews to this place. Not a good place to go.

Yelp
Around this area, this is probably the best pizza slice. But the reason I give them 5 stars is their WINGS! Yes! I've been in search of a good wing place in NYC and Atomic, among others have been our default choice. This place gives you BIG wings and the sauce is very good. I just add a little bit of Frank's RedHot and BAM, the sauce is near perfect. Oh, and when i ask for extra sauce, they give a lot without any questions. Nice friendly staff, no attitude. I wanted to give these guys a pat on the back. OH, almost forgot,, these are VERY INEXPENSIVE wings! :)

Yelp
I would give this place no stars but that isn't an option. I ordered for delivery for a party at a school. They called in the morning and then neither I nor the Internet booking service eat24 could reach them by phone. I figured it would be OK since they had called me but then they never showed up. The Internet service was fantastic and gave me a refund. But I was scrambling at the last minute to get pizzas and most of our parents had to leave. Unacceptable and I will never give them business again. On the other hand I called Pizza Stop down the street and they brought the pizza on time and piping hot.

Yelp
One of the few pizza spots on Seamless in Spanish Harlem so I gave them a try. They get two stars for being cheap, but not for much else. The pizza has no tomato sauce whatsoever; it's melted cheese on top of dough and maybe a little ketchup. The honey bbq wings are decent. In fact, going back to what I said about the place being cheap, you can get a large pizza, 20 wings, and a 2 liter soda for under 25 dollars. They forgot to add my corn on the cob to my order, but, in terms of what I did get to eat, I doubt the corn would have been that good anyway. Order from this place if you're shit-faced and low on funds and looking to ward off a hangover in the morning. Outside of that scenario, don't order from here.
