The Philly Hangover Guide: What to Eat After Drinking

"Philly has a ton of stellar pie places, but the doughy, nine-inch Buffalo chicken pan pizza at East Passyunk’s Pizza Plus caters to everything an alcohol-afflicted stomach craves: fried chicken tenders doused in ranch and Buffalo sauce atop of one of its thick Detroit-style cheese pizzas. Other hangover-curing contenders include curly fries, chicken Parm sandwich, or any of its hand-tossed pizzas. Order pickup or delivery online." - Jillian Wilson

Pizza Plus - Review - South Philly - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"Pizza Plus has the same crispy Detroit-style pies as their sister restaurant Circles + Squares, now you just don’t have to venture past North Broad to get them. Here, the deep dish pizzas are round and they load doughy and spongy slices with buffalo chicken, homemade pesto, or plenty of melty cheese for $25 and under. It’s a great spot to call for takeout and get your order in under 20 minutes, whether you’re grabbing some chicken parm with tangy tomato sauce or a meatball sub." - Candis R. McLean

My husband has been following Pizza Plus on Instagram for a while and we finally got there today. The pizza was everything he had hoped for! We got a 9inch pan pizza with red sauce, sausage, spinach and pesto drizzle. We also got an order of fried pickles with the chipotle mayo dip. Everything was good! My only criticisms are that there could have been more sausage on the pizza and the fried pickles could have been crispier. It’s a tiny counter-only place with no seating which we didn’t realize. Also there are more options online than on the board in-store, so check out the menu online before you go. All-in-all it was worth the trip. We will be back!

Ugggghh!! I really wanted to be satisfied. Instead I was left disgusted and disappointed that I chose to eat here. I ordered on DoorDash and I was confident that I did my research before ordering. Even tho this place is rated 4.1, I try to only eat over 4.5 rated reviews. I thought the poor reviews were isolated. I ordered Detroit style pizza, with chicken. The chicken was harder than the crust. I did ask for well done, but the cheese is burnt. The dough is… mysterious, in a bad way. I did enjoy the sauce, but it was there to mask the lack of freshness of the chicken. I spit 30% of it out and trashed the rest. The delivery driver didn’t properly knock, so it was sitting outside for a min, but nothing would have saved this.

Been obsessed with pizza plus for years. Nothing beats the pan pizza. Cheesesteaks and regular pies are good too. Snack box is the best. My sister requests we order every time she is home from France. Her French boyfriend also loved it. My mouth is watering thinking about the buff chx pan pie.

Google
You can never go wrong with Pizza Plus! Their regular pizzas are amazing but I love getting the pan pizzas. Even their other foods hit the spot too. They're usually pretty quick but it also depends on the volume of orders coming through. Great spot in South Philly!

Google
This place has a pretty extensive vegan menu. The vegan cheesesteak was awesome. I've had many vegan cheesesteaks in Philly throughout the years, and I'd put this in top 2 or 3. Soft seeded roll, great cheez to seitan ratio, and it was hot and freshly grilled. I also tried the pizza fries which were just okay, and I wouldn't order again. I ordered pick up through DoorDash and my food was ready at the estimated time. I'll definitely be back to try more!

Google
Ordered a deep dish and hand tossed to try for first time. The deep dish/pan pizza was good..crust was nice sauce great. Pepperoni has flavor but for how much they charged, I expected more, a lot more. I would have said that was a bucks worth, not three. The hand tossed was terrible crust was so tough and chewy, like a bad piece of well done meat. Delivery finally arrived, barely warm, very disappointed for only 8 blocks down the street. The boxes were soaked in grease, I cant remember the last time I ever saw so much that it went right through to the bottom on to the table. I dont think Ill order again but would recommend one tries the Pan style pizza. Just be wary of price for topping and what you get.

Google
If i could give more stars, i would! My husband is a chef and tomorrow is his bday. Well we decided to order the snack box from Pizza Plus, let me tell you, it could knock your socks off! Everything was so fresh, the sauces all housemade, the pizza was incredible, i highly recommend this gem over all other pizza places in the city. We will be ordering again and again.

Google
The vegan cheesesteak is one of the best I’ve ever had. It was a very good size and the roll was super soft. The vegan wings were delicious too. We also had onion rings which were nice, crispy and seasoned. I’ll definitely be back

Yelp
The pizza is always great, but today I had a chicken cheese steak with Cooper sharp cheese, and it was perfect! This place is ideal for Sunday football snacks. The onion rings are crispy, and the mozzarella sticks are battered (way better than breaded), served with a tasty garlic marinara. Delivery was quick and affordable compared to other spots, definitely check it out!

Yelp
Ordered a thin crust margherita with extra fresh mozzarella. What arrived was a lukewarm stale cracker with bland sauce and a couple loose paper-thin slices of mozzarella. Several Slices had no cheese at all. Called to ask what the deal is, they said they would refund me the extra cheese charge but the manager would have to call me about doing anything regarding how bad the overall pizza was. No one ever called

Kyle C.

Yelp
I love this place! The pizza is always crisped really well, and I love the cheese they add on top!! My new favorite pizza by far and I look forward to it every week!

Yelp
I'm going with a four here because of the cheesesteaks - they're the unsung hero of this place. Nice roll, quality meat, super flavorful cheese... My mouth is watering. But the pizza is just fair to middling - I've had a lot better and I've had worse. The Detroit style is decent, but I'd skip the regular pies. They should seriously focus on their sandwiches and rebrand!

Yelp
If #ThankYouThursday is Yelp's version of a valentine to a business, mine goes to Pizza Plus. They satisfy my craving for junk food (perhaps party food or game day food is a better description). To say they serve pizza, wings, and steak sandwiches does them a disservice. They really care about the quality of the food they serve. The thick, foccacia-like crust. The rich tomato sauce. The cheese to the edge that gets crispy. The excellent cheesesteaks. Fries topped with messy ingredients and so much delicious cheese. I have vegan family members and I myself am trying to limit my meat consumption, so I really appreciate the vegetarian and vegan options. And the big party boxes of food? If you need to feed a small group but don't know what to order, I can't imagine a more fun option than a little bit of everything from the menu. I don't like dealing with 3rd party delivery services, so I order directly and pick it up. They always seem busy, so I don't order if I'm in a hurry.

Yelp
Disappointing chicken parm sandwich, chicken tasted like deep freezer frozen crap and then deep fried. Messed up the order and given to the wrong person, had to wait to remake the food, worst part was the food wasn't even worth the wait. Took about an hour and some change waiting for my pickup order that was supposed to be ready.

Jeffrey N.

Yelp
Pizza was burnt and tasted liked charred ash. Fried pickles were overly salty and tasted like they were fried next to a fish filet.

Yelp
Ordered a "Vegan Chicken Bacon Ranch Cheesesteak" at 6:39 PM. It's due at 7:34 PM. At 8:05 PM I get a text that says "Hey it's your doordash driver, apologies but there's going to be a delay, they didn't begin your order until I arrived." The food arrives at 8:40. The cheesesteak has pork bacon on it. I call them and they tell me, "I don't know what you expected, the cheesesteak is vegan but the bacon isn't, it would have said vegan bacon." They replied to me on Instagram and apologized and told me that one of the owners is vegan and they take this very seriously, but absolutely nothing that happened tonight indicates they take this seriously. Don't trust this restaurant's vegan items because they play fast and loose with the term vegan, and consider including pork bacon on a "vegan cheesesteak" to be a reasonable thing. They refunded my entire order but I will never, ever trust any vegan items from this restaurant.

Yelp
See pics below. Below mid level food. Pics looks much better than what you actually get. Good hob hiring photographers tho!

Yelp
Different Cheesesteak #913. Guest Eater Kevin Byrne. Pizza Plus South was out of meat so we went Vegan. I met at Separatist Beer Project in East Passyunk. I didn't tell Kevin the cheesesteak was vegan until after he had taken a few bites. Kevin now has a, I met a man online, I met him for a beer and cheesesteak, he tricked me into putting strange meat into my mouth story!! This could be my favorite Vegan Cheesesteak. It tasted more like thinly sliced Roast Pork. The roll needs help. I think vegan rolls are dry. Toasting and/or garlic bread?? Love Separatist Beer Project, Host to 2021 March Cheesesteak Madness Final Four.

Yelp
Lol they did me so dirty and just threw a clump of pickled peppers on one slice of my pie. The chicken tenders were okay. They were stingy AF with the honey mustard. I was scraping the bottom by the second tender. We ordered at 11:02 and the food was not ready until 12:40. I know they just opened up shop and they are most likely still sorting things out there. And there is that corona virus going around so maybe things are a little crazy in the shop. I'll give them another shot out of my love for pizza gutt. But really I think I will just stick to getting my pizza fix from their sister restaurant. After all square pizza is way better than circle pizza.

Yelp
This place is where Key Pizza used to be. It's a small place, no seating area to eat. Super friendly staff. There are 2 kinds: hand tossed and personal. You can have several toppings on top. They have sandwiches too. They will text you when the order is done Hand tossed is 16 inches pizza with thin crust. Overall it's a decent pizza. Good amount of small pepperoni and good quality of cheese. Personal pizza has thicker dough. I ordered vegan. Only tomato sauce with small basil leaves. The best part of the pizza is the outer crust which is super crunchy. The texture of the pizza in my opinion is close to focaccia bread. Unfortunately I saw the pizza took out I believe half-way-cooked pizza and blew it as if blowing birthday candles and put it back in the oven. I cringed when I saw it especially during this Coronavirus pandemic.
google avatar

Fred D.

Yelp
Ordered here for the first time tonight. Was pretty disappointed. The pizza lacked a lot of flavor, crust was over cooked and rubbery. Overall both pizzas we ordered (white pizza w/ half bacon and regular pizza with pepperoni and bacon) lacked any sort of flavor. Would probably not order from here again and would look for other places for good pizza.
google avatar

J K.

Yelp
My entire order was vegan. The pizza isn't the worst but it's not good to me either. I wouldn't order it again. The "wings" were supposed to be bbq but didn't have any sauce on them. They did come with vegan ranch which was good but the "wings" just tasted like dough and wasn't even breaded or fried. I have no idea how they made them. Now, for the vegan cheesesteak. The bread was delicious and it was nice and cheesy. The "steak" (seitan) tasted like sliced Turkey which isn't what you want when ordering a cheesesteak. They definitely need to dice the slices.
google avatar

Gabrielle L.

Yelp
My absolute favorite pizza in Philly. They have vegan options as well. I'm not a deep dish / or thick crust kind of guy so I never get the pan pizza. The chicken parm pizza is my favorite. And my boyfriend loves the cheese burger one. Looking forward buffalo chicken and the pesto. I also get plain with olives. The sandwiches look good but I'm always coming here for pizza so unsure if I'll ever branch out here. It is expensive, but worth every penny.
google avatar

Chelsea L.

Yelp
I love this place. I'll leave positive reviews on every platform I can. This place easily has some of the best food, cheesesteaks, pizza, deals that I have ever asked for. I've lived in Philly, my whole life and honestly these cheesesteaks are amazing. Even the vegan cheese steaks, for those of you, who are shy about them, they're amazing. The snack box will always be my favorite and a great deal for the amount of food that you get. 10 out of 10 would always recommend this place to literally anyone. When people from out of town ask, where should they get a cheesesteak, I always recommend Pizza Plus. This place is amazing and will meet your expectations every time.

Yelp
I finally tried there personal pan pizza . It's looked so amazing . I ordered an pepperoni and sausage pizza. They pour the sauce over top of the pizza. I took the first bite and it was amazing I tasted the pizza sauce. The sauce has too many herbs inside. It was too overwhelming when you bite into the pizza. I had to wipe the sauce off with tissue. The texture of the crust and cheese is amazing with the toppings. I liked the sausage better than the pepperoni. To be on a safe order a personal pan pizza with sauce and you will be fine. They have to find a new sauce and turn it down when it comes to the herbs and salt I guess. Make it more sweet and less salty and tangy. Love the bread it's truly great taste with toppings and crust is good. Please order without sauce.
google avatar

Amelia C.

Yelp
Got this for pickup on Saturday night. It took about 35 minutes. They text you when your order is ready. We ordered the hand tossed with cheese, pepperoni and sausage. We also ordered a Buffalo chicken person pan pizza. The Buffalo chicken was average, it needed more sauce bec the crust was very thick and a bit dry without enough sauce. Really enjoyed the hand tossed pizza. Loved the crispy crust. Flavors were great.

Yelp
Cool pizza spot in the heart of south Philly. They're known for their hand tossed and pan pizzas. I ended up ordering the 9" pan buffalo chicken, which was really good. The dough is very similar to focaccia bread, and it's got a very good crunch to it. It's a little pricey but the 9" is super heavy . You could split it between two people.
google avatar

Annie P.

Yelp
Pizza is fine. The crust just ok. The sauce has kind of a weird taste. Boneless wings were good but they make their on ranch and it's a little off. Fries are good. Caesar salad is not good. Just leaves with croutons on top and their Caesar dress has way to manu anchovies in it and it straight tastes like fish.

Sweaty B.

Yelp
it wasn't the best cheesesteak I've ever had but it was fn one of the best ones! I couldn't believe my god damn pallet. i even ate this mo fo 3 hours later and it was the most tender, cheesy, Phillies, slab of rib eye I have ever eaten in 43 years on this dust ball. Bert Jones
google avatar

Yelp
Was enamored by the photos on Instagram but realized the better looking pizzas are all the small pan styles. Of course I learned this only after ordering their normal pizzas. Ordered the cheese and white. The cheese was good and slightly better than any average pizza. The white was much better but crust was really really thin. The OG circles and squares is still my favorite!

Yelp
Worst experience and we won't be back. Ordered at 5:30 pm and did not get our order until 7:00. Pizza was awful, tasted worse than cardboard. We go here on occasion because they have vegan food (hubs had a vegan chix cheesesteak sandwich and sid it was okay but cold). Also definitely have ordered vegan food and been served regular instead in the past. They were so disorganized, it was like they had never even been in a pizza shop before. So so disappointing. They should just do vegan food and throw the rest of the menu away, it is awful.

Jazzmen U.

Yelp
I'm honestly a big fan of this place truly love the pan pizza. I recently moved from south Philly to north. I ordered a snack box and pickles and I knew to some degree the food wasn't going to be it's best by the time it made it to me but when I say my food was ice cold it was ice cold. Had to heat in the oven so I could enjoy it. The driver dropped the order off and only gave us a taco salad. My bf told him it was wrong and he driver said he would be back with the right order. (I was thinking he was gunna go back to the shop and get our stuff) he came back like 5mins later and dropped our stuff off. That didn't sit too well with me. Would have been happier if he drove all the way back and came with food I knew for certain wasn't tampered with and was hot. He did apologize but still it was a little too much money spent on ice cold food. And let me repeat I enjoy the food here order just not a fan of delivery.
google avatar

Emmie D.

Yelp
Delivery took well over an hour and showed up cold. Wouldn't order again and should have listened to other reviews!

Justin W.

Yelp
This place has great food, but they always forget multiple things per order. They never remember dressings for the salad... that are included without a special order. They have even forgotten to send entire menu items. Like your entire job is including items from the order?
google avatar

Cara S.

Yelp
I've only tried the smaller pizzas but they are delicious! Sort of a mixture between tomato pie/focaccia/deep dish. Really doughy and good, the marinara on top tastes super fresh and I love that it's on top of the cheese on parts so you can get a nice bite of it while sinking your teeth into the crust! Also I'm usually a thin crust fan but this is really airy and delicious (not like thicker crusts which can be heavy and doughy) - I'm a total convert. Can't wait to try other things here. I hear the chicken parm sandwich is really tasty too.

Yelp
Best. Detroit. Style. Period. Delicious Neapolitan best piping hot out of oven. The surprise box? Fantastic mix of wings, smashed, onion rings, pizza etc. Staff? Fantastic Best of Philly select status with just a few others. That's rare air to share.
google avatar

Fleischmann O.

Yelp
Stuck to the Pizza, crust, sauce, cheese, ratio, all were on point. This is classic pizza done right. Well done. Got a couple salads too, not bad Also, the order came earlier than even expected so happy surprise! Next-day Update; the reheat for 5 min at 350 was damn good
google avatar

Ashley M.

Yelp
Pizza was just okay! I ordered a pepperoni pizza, but I didn't love the cheese on top.

Lisa D.

Yelp
Horrible! The pizza was dry and cold. The pepperoni was sparse. It would have been ok if it were fresh maybe. Looks like it sat all day. I'll never stray from Marras again. So glad I didn't order any other items. We reheated it but it's so dry that it's now trash. They also forgot the ranch we paid for.
google avatar

Vicky S.

Yelp
Ordered online and picked up in 35 min! We got hand tossed with 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 mushroom and ricotta. Pepperoni was a little salty. The mushroom and ricotta thoughhhhh. That really hit. The mushroom adds such a nice texture to the pizza and the ricotta is very soft The best part is the crust! The crust is crustyyyyy and crunchy. The pizza was great cold too. We also got their friend and copper sharp cheese sauce. The sauce was actually better with the pizza. If you're doing take out, melt the cheese for 30 sec and it'll be bomb. Anyway, the fries on the other hand was a little soggy not my fave! PS they have vegan options too!

Yelp
Tried ordering from here on Grubhub. Could see the driver sitting outside the restaurant for 20+ minutes. Order wasn't ready. Grubhub then sent another driver. Needless to say after waiting 2 hours our order was cancelled with no explanation. Called pizza plus multiple times with no answer. Will not order from here again.
google avatar

Yelp
I am lucky enough to live a few blocks from Pizza Plus. I order their pizza (and sandwiches and fries) way too often for my own good but I can't help it. This place makes some of the best pizza in the city, along with excellent sandwiches and sides. East Passyunk is lucky to now have such a solid pizza spot in such an unassuming location. Definitely check this place out. Everything I have ordered has been wonderful and the delivery/pick up times are never too long. My favorite pizza to order is the hand tossed pizza with pepperoni with basil.
google avatar

Ciara G.

Yelp
The beauty of Pizza Plus is their hours. The second best thing about Pizza Plus is alllll the topping options for you Za. The third best thing about Pizza Plus is their extra offerings such as chicky tendies, curly fries and smash burgs. I prefer the personal pan pies to the hand tossed as that is my jam when it comes to Za's. But both are top notch, high quality. I always get a Double Pep pie and a White Pie with sausage and spinach. Two pies always and sometimes three bc leftovers as I live an hour+ North of Philly. Great Za, great extras, worth the drive for sure if you are not lucky enough to be a local.

Max B.

Yelp
This restaurant serves Detroit-style pizza, which I had never had before. The crust was thicker than a NY-style slice, with an crunchy outside but a chewy inside, quite pleasant actually. The cheese and "toppings" were actually on the bottom, and then the sauce was drizzled over top, like an upside-down pizza. I think that is possibly done to keep the crust both crunchy and chewy. It was really quite good! Only other point to make is that the pizza is quite small, only 9" in diameter. However, you shouldn't let that fool you, as the crust is quite thick, so I found the pizza quite filling. I would say one 9" pizza is probably enough for two people with a side or two. I also got a buffalo chicken hoagie. This was top-notch and worth getting again. Chicken fingers aren't usually anything special but these were made with buttermilk and were quite peppery, much more flavorful than most other places! The buffalo sauce and the blue cheese dressing tasted homemade. Finally and most importantly, the bread was a Sarcone's roll! 5 out of 5 for the hoagie, one of the best I've had in the area. I will say that the food was somewhat expensive, especially the pizza. If you want to feed a big party and care less about unique flavor then I would probably recommend looking at any of the more classic NY-style pizza places in the area, but if you want to try something different that is made at a very high quality then I would order from Pizza Plus.
google avatar

Steve L.

Yelp
Got 2 pizzas for take out and when we showed up to pick up they were just finishing up our orders. Buffalo chicken personal pan was okay and needed some more sauce or toppings felt more like eating thick slice of bread than pizza 3/5 The hand tossed with cheese, pepperoni, and sausage was much better. The topping were plentiful and the crust was thin and crispy even in the center where pizzas are normally soggy. If the pepperoni and sausage were just a bit less salty this would have been perfect 4/5 stars here. Overall I would get pizza from here again but stick to the hand tossed ones.

Yelp
YUM!! Very tasty sauce and very delicious crusty cheese on the deep dish option. Very different option for south Philly and a welcome change. This is a takeout or delivery only (when available) spot which is perfect for "current pandemic mode". Very efficient ordering system with option to pay prior to arrival with text notification when your order is ready for pickup or out for delivery. The people at the counter were very nice - good experience all around.

Yelp
Finally ordered from Pizza Plus a few days ago and really enjoyed it. I'd last had these pizzas when Pizza Gutt was serving out of Win Win Coffee Bar, those were phenomenal pies. Pizza Plus is also very good, but it's not quite as good as the Win Win days, which is to be expected when you scale a business. We ordered two 9" pan pizzas (one was a white pizza and the other a vegan cheese red pizza), chicken fingers, and onion rings. The chicken was great and the onion rings were excellent (I love that the onion didn't separate from the breading). For the pizzas, I'm lactose intolerant, so I love that vegan cheese was offered, but I was honestly disappointed in the taste of this cheese. The quality of the pizza is really good, but the taste of the vegan cheese just didn't match everything around it. I decided to take a lactaid and try my wife's real cheese pizza and it was infinitely better. So, unless you're vegan, just take a lactaid and get the real cheese pizza. That said, the vegan cheese tasted a lot better when I had leftovers the next day. I also want to add that the price for all of this seemed really high, between $17 and $20 with toppings, especially for 9" pizzas, but these ended up being hefty pizzas. With our apps, we ate less than half of each pizza before we were full, leaving plenty for lunch the next day. Even without the apps, I think I'd be overly full if I ate the whole 9" pizza. So, I'd say it's worth the price.

Amelia R.

Yelp
I was looking forward to trying the pizza here but gotta be honest, was super bummed with the outcome. Ordered through their delivery at 12 pm on Friday. Took a little over an hour to get here, but that was ok. Hand tossed pizza was cold, coated in grease and the onions rings were just thrown in a brown paper bag, also greasy and cold. We didn't really enjoy any of it :/ This place has a lot of notoriety and is kinda pricey, but let's be real there's so many awesome pizza joints in south philly. This is not one of them.

Yelp
I was working late at the office and did a quick search for pizza since my closest shop closed down recently due to, well, I'm not sure exactly. Anyway, I happened across some beautiful pictures on a little place that I was unaware of called Piazza Plus. I had a hunch from the foodie-quality ingredients they offered and the three styles of pizza you could have them on, that this might be worth the gamble. I ordered a 16" hand tossed Shitake mushroom and black olive on tomato and mozzarella from Grubhub. Holy. Mother. Of. God. Mind blown!! Only after I devoured half the pie did I bother to research who this pizza virtuoso was. Turns out it's the guy from Circles and Squares' new South Philly spot. And it's even closer to my house than my office. So much for losing the pandemic weight. I have a new go-to pizza shop! So delicious.

Joe Y.

Yelp
That was a delicious cheesesteak! And the delivery is always super quick. Fries are always crispy
google avatar

Suzamne R.

Yelp
Pizza and burgers were excellent but the fries are soggy..I've ordered fries 3xs from this place and every time they were soggy, it doesn't matter if you order them well done. Crispy fries are what the people want!!!
google avatar

Liam R.

Yelp
Okay food, not great value. Paying $9 for a burger with no toppings is a little extreme, esp when fries are another $4. The fries were good but the quantity was lackluster. A combo would work wonders here to actually make it worthwhile when compared to one of the numerous pubs in the area.
google avatar

ReviewHaiku F.

Yelp
Nope never again Sizes and prices are wack* Good chicken tenders *we tried so hard to love this place, 4 pizzas total; 2 pan 2 large and they were all not worth the money. Not sure what the all the hype is for cheesy bread with sauce
google avatar

Chezzy M.

Yelp
The pan pies are addictive. I have a daily craving. The hand tossed is definitely one of the best in the area. Here are some things to know: Be aware that you need to have a two hour window in which you are willing to wait for your food. I find if I order earlier in the day during the week it only takes 30 minutes but if you hit a rush it will take a while. Pan pies are -around 12 inches and thick with caramelized edges. Hand tossed around 16 inches, thin crust with lovely bubbles on the edges. The $5 burger comes with cheese but almost all other toppings are an up charge. It is a delicious little burger. "Cheese" means traditional red sauce and mozzarella. "Tomato" means no cheese. This wasn't intuitive to me. The employees are super nice and helpful.

Cara P.

Yelp
Definitely a super slow operation, so either order early or be ready to eat late. My first order (pre-lockdown) took about an hour, my second order (post-lockdown) took 3 hours. Staff is friendly and it was very easy for me to reach them to check on the status of my food. So far I've tried both of their pizza styles, pan and hand tossed. The pan pizzas are definitely unique, I've never had anything like it in this city. They're thick but light and buttery, very old-school. One personal pan can easily feed two people. The hand-tossed is a pretty standard pizza. Better than your average Philly pizzeria but nothing outstanding. The salad was also pretty standard but still better than what you would expect from a pizzeria. Overall, this place is turning out good food made by good people. They need time to work out the kinks in their operation before I go back.

Mark K.

Yelp
The food is decent here, but two times now they have directly said things on social media that are different than what they're actually doing at the restaurant. A while ago I was told via social media direct message that I could call in to order a menu item that was no longer on the menu and they would make it no problem - when I called to do so, I got bitched at by the guy on the phone until he reluctantly agreed. Okay, not gonna try that again. Today, they said on social media their dollar slice special would last from open to close - when I went, I was told they were done with the special for the night. Staff was not friendly at all either time. I won't be returning.

Yelp
The hand tossed is an incredible pie of pizza with amazing sauce. Definitely recommend the pepperoni. The pan pizza is very tasty but the bottom crust can get soggy. Overall delicious and they've been doing a great job starting up during the craziness of a pandemic.
