"Pizzeria Shackamaxon, the takeout-only shop in Fishtown, makes slices so good that we’d happily line up for them during a rainstorm. Thankfully, we no longer have to. Their sister shop and BYOB in Port Richmond offers a major upgrade from scarfing tomato pies on the pavement, plus the ability to order online for pickup and delivery. The crust has blistery charred puffs and just enough sauce to keep the quality toppings in place. We love the spinach, onion, and spinach cream white pizza and the classic cheese. Top your slice with housemade crushed red pepper or lemon-basil whipped ricotta if you want a little something extra. "Pizza Richmond is the second venture from the owners of Pizza Shackamaxon. It’s slightly larger, with space to sit and eat, either by the slice or a giant pizza pie, off paper plates. Their signatures are a savory-leaning tomato sauce, crisp crusts without being cardboard-y, and white pies with whole cloves of garlic piled on ricotta. "At Pizza Richmond, a walk-in only pizza shop in Port Richmond, the throwback board games, Spiderman comics, and tube TV transports you to the time of Walkmans and neon tracksuits. A bite of their thick, saucy tomato pie, meanwhile, takes you on a trip to bubbly, bready heaven. The red tomato sauce is rich, sweet, and savory, and each slice has beautifully charred edges. The incredible, thin-slices have blistery charred puffs around the edges, and just enough sauce to keep the quality toppings in place. When we bit into a blistery pizza topped with long hots next to vintage Spider-Man comics. Tomato pie, caesar salad, a pepperoni pie, a cheese pie, the special of the week, 1-900-ICE-CREAM, and extra napkins.
