NY-style pizza, wings, & garlic knots served from a bar patio.

"Opened in 2017 next to Gramps, this bright red-and-yellow pizza ventanita provided no-frills sustenance in the form of cheese, dough, and red sauce for people soaking up beers and bourbons. Its closure on December 10 was anticipated but heartbreaking, inspiring Gramps owner Adam Gersten to post a sentimental Instagram tribute inviting guests to come for final slices they could “really be able to taste the tears” in, joking about bringing flowers to lay on the window and promising that not a pepperoni would be forgotten, along with a surprise announcement that it plans to reopen in February 2026, though no details have been shared." - Laine Doss
"This little pizza stand in the backyard of Gramps (our favorite bar in Wynwood) makes one of the best New York-style pizzas in Miami. Sure, we always seem to crave it after four cocktails, but you can walk in here whether or not you're trying to drink. Even if you aren't really in a pizza mood, they also have great wings and garlic knots. But pizza is certainly the thing to get here—there are about seven varieties ranging from a pretty perfect cheese slice to one with spicy pepperoni and pineapple. You can order them as a whole pie too, in case you’ve got three friends who are also under the influence of Gramps’ excellent moscow mules." - ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo, mariana trabanino
"This little pizza stand in the backyard of Gramps in Wynwood makes a New York-style slice you’ll crave even if you didn’t just do tequila shots. They have seven varieties ranging from classic pepperoni to a Hawaiian with pepperoni and caramelized pineapple. You can order them by the slice or as a pie if you’ve got three friends who are also under the influence of the Gramps Rosemary's Baby. It’s a tremendous way to have dinner without leaving the bar." - ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo, mariana trabanino
"The bar wing is a sacred genre of wing. It needs to be fried, a little spicy, and come with your choice of ranch or blue cheese. And Pizza Tropical (the pizza ventanita on the patio of Gramps) makes an outstanding, simple bar chicken wing. You can order them hot-sauced or tossed in a mild honey garlic sauce. Whatever version you get, they’ll be cooked beautifully—and won’t be so messy that you’ll be too embarrassed to eat them in public." - ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo
"Gramps, is a refreshing time capsule of everything that made Wynwood exciting in the first place. It’s colorful, fun, and you can come here just to eat too. They have a little wooden pizza stand on their back patio. Pizza Tropical serves a simple, satisfying NY-style slice that pairs just beautifully with the spicy moscow mules you’ll find here. But they also sell wings and garlic rolls too." - ryan pfeffer
