"This little pizza stand in the backyard of Gramps (our favorite bar in Wynwood) makes one of the best New York-style pizzas in Miami. Sure, we always seem to crave it after four cocktails, but you can walk in here whether or not you're trying to drink. Even if you aren't really in a pizza mood, they also have great wings and garlic knots. But pizza is certainly the thing to get here—there are about seven varieties ranging from a pretty perfect cheese slice to one with spicy pepperoni and pineapple. They have seven varieties ranging from classic pepperoni to a Hawaiian with pepperoni and caramelized pineapple. You can order them by the slice or as a pie if you’ve got three friends who are also under the influence of the Gramps Rosemary's Baby. "The bar wing is a sacred genre of wing. It needs to be fried, a little spicy, and come with your choice of ranch or blue cheese. And Pizza Tropical (the pizza ventanita on the patio of Gramps) makes an outstanding, simple bar chicken wing. You can order them hot-sauced or tossed in a mild honey garlic sauce. "Open Until 3am Fri-Sat, 1am Sun-Thu Pizza Tropical is located inside Gramps, which is 99% bar and 1% pizza place. But that 1% is good enough to justify coming here whether or not you want to drink. There’s no cover at Gramps, so it’s easy enough to show some ID at the door and make your way to the bar’s back patio, where you’ll find the yellow and red window.
