Little Five Points’ Pizza Verdura Sincera serves up fresh, flavorful vegan pies with organic dough, killer toppings, and a cozy Italian vibe.
"Open For: Lunch and Dinner Price Range: $ - $$ This vegan pizzeria replaced the Little Five Points Zesto location last year. David Smith (a partner in El Super Pan, SmoQ’n Hot Grill, and Dos Burros, and chief investment officer at Trowbridge Partners) bought the space and launched Pizzeria Verdura Sincera in April 2024. The restaurant uses organic, non-GMO flour for the crust. Expect a margherita pizza with plant-based vegan mozzarella, the Greco with spinach, fresh garlic, mushrooms, and kalamata olives, and the Messicano with spicy vegan sausage, peppers, roasted corn, onions, garlic, and ginger. Best For: Vegan and plant-based pizzas that pack plenty of flavor" - Eater Staff

"Taking over the former Zesto space in Little Five Points, this pizzeria adds another plant-based option in the neighborhood. And since Ammazza closed, we're looking forward to seeing if Pizza Verdura Sincera will become our new favorite for vegan, wood-fired pies." - juli horsford, jacinta howard
"Celebrity: 2 Chainz This 2 Chainz-invested, all-vegan pizzeria in Little Five Points has a small menu of pizzas and salads. But you should ignore that menu above the order counter and get the weekly special, which is likely inspired by whatever the chef took an interest in at the farmers market. That’s always a better choice because, while the dough here is excellent, the regular pies are unremarkable. And Verdura’s choice of fresh ingredients, like meaty mushrooms and bright greens, help to drown out the slimy texture of the processed faux cheeses and bring in some much-needed flavor.
