On the Grid : Pizzanista!

"Pizzanista! (exclamation point included) is an eclectic mix of skateboard culture, local ingredients, and delicious pizza. You can go one direction and indulge in the sightly blasphemous Meat Jesus pizza (pepperoni, sausage AND bacon), or do a 180 (or a backside 180 ollie, look it up) and order a vegetarian or vegan OR gluten-free slice. On the weekend, try out their Mac & Cheese pizza. Wash it down with a beer or any of their selection of off-beat sodas (Lenin-ade, anyone?), and maybe swipe a $1 day-old slice for later." - verynice

11 Restaurants To Fantasize About During Spin Class - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Dreaming of the best pizza by the slice in LA? Turn your attention towards Pizzanista. Located in the Arts District, this tiny little spot has everything from classic margherita to white to a mac and cheese pizza only served on Sundays. And everything is great. They also serve beer, but you can’t think about that right now because you’re currently sweating out the beer from last night." - brant cox

Where To Get Pizza Delivery In LA - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Even if you’ve only ever had Pizzanista when you’re drunkenly stumbling around the Arts District at midnight on a Saturday, you should still know about it for delivery. They serve whole pies or do by-the-slice, and they’re across-the-board cheesy, greasy, and wonderful. If it’s Sunday, you need to get the vegan mac and cheese pie. It’s entirely too much, and as such, perfect. Order online for pick-up or delivery." - brett keating

New Suburban LA Pizza Shop Pizzanista Doubles as a Skateboarder Hangout - Eater LA

"Pizzanista is now officially open in San Marino, the standalone city just south of Pasadena. The longtime Arts District New York-ish style pizza spot has been running limited daytime hours for most of the month, selling slices and whole 18-inch pies. The space at 2461 Mission Street doubles as a skateboard shop, offering merchandise, stickers, and more, with deals on pizza for certain skateboard purchases." - Farley Elliott

Pizzanista Review - Arts District - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"It’s not very often you find a pizza by-the-slice joint that’s worth getting in your car and driving across the city for, but Pizzanista! is just that place. Located on the south end of the Arts District, this tiny little spot is cranking out some of the best by-the-slice pizza in the city right now. Everything from their margherita to their soppressata and mushroom is phenomenal, but it’s their white pizza that claims top prize for us. Looking to start your week off right? They do a mac & cheese pizza on Sundays only. Choose your best life." - Brant Cox

I’ve been to the DTLA Arts District location so many times, so I was shocked (in the best way) to discover this one so close to home. The space is modern, clean, and has a cool vibe — though I still lean toward the unique Arts District atmosphere. What really stands out is the pizza: same incredible quality as DTLA. Blindfold me and I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. The only thing to keep in mind is that pizza by the slice can add up — if you’re thinking of grabbing more than two, a fresh pie might be the smarter move. Either way, I’m thrilled to have another amazing spot nearby!

Stopped by for a quick slice. Friendly service, great atmosphere and the slice was great. I got the veggie and I was pleasantly surprised that they used Kalamata olives. The value was great as the one slice was really large enough to be considered two smaller pieces.

We did take out wanting to try a local pizza spot we heard good things about. Honestly the Sicilian slice is the best thing there. They put so much pepperoni on it that it’s almost too much, making the pizza very salty overall. The crust was great though. The most disappointing thing were the regular slices. All the ones we had were very dry which made the crust ends hard to the touch and bite. They need to perfect their reheating process.

Google
Great addition to the mission district area. Lots of great pizza to choose from. Even gluten free & vegan pizza. Since it was my first time I got 3 different slices of pizza. You can also order by the pie. Definitely coming back to try more pizzas.

Google
I probably had Pizzanista three times a week during 2018 at their DTLA location and just found this location tucked away in San Marino. It was packed! Their vegan pepperoni was as great as I remember, I love their Jesus meets seitan, and occasionally enjoy their Mac n cheese pizza (it’s waaaaaay too heavy to eat more than one + only available on Sundays). This location had a large merch section that I wish was smaller so more seating would be accommodated inside. Soft serve machine was a bit runny but also not vegan so didn’t have that. Garlic knots are great and looking forward to trying their Sicilian slices they didn’t have when I would go often. Happy Munchies, @aVeganAndHer

Google
It's Friday, I'm driving through South Pasadena, kinda hungry, saw a pizza by the slice place and decided to stop. Glad I did! Crispy, just the right thickness, quality ingredients, I got the veggie and it had a bunch of basil and I loved it! Thanks for being open for a quick bite!

Google
I’ve been a diehard loyalist to the Arts District Pizzanista, and it’s still so odd to me that they opened one in sleepy San Marino, but no complaints from me! The slices are the same taste and quality as their AD counterpart, and the vibe is as chill as the area that it’s in. It’s a must for a casual lunch if you’re in the area.

Google
This place is nice, a bit small, cramped inside eating at tables so close to the register, and they have a mini skateboard shop within the restaurant. Nice concept but defeats the food concept when the skate shop takes up half the space. IDK, this one is only if you have to have pizza and you cannot drive another 2 minutes down the street where there's a Mama's pizza, blaze pizza, dominos pizza, tomato pie pizza all but 2 minutes away from this location. Just saying. Go here if you're into skateboarding. Otherwise keep going into South Pasadena more and you'll find better and more options.

Yelp
Short story but I first saw Pizzanista when I was vacationing in Tokyo! I didn't have time to try it there, but was pleasantly surprised that there was one close to my home! My husband ordered online and I went to pick it up. The worker was nice and let me know my pizza would be ready at the pick up time (I got there too early). I spent the extra time looking around at their merchandise and ready to go slices of pizza. We got the pepperoni and I fell in love at first bite. The sourdough crust was nothing short of perfection-- crisp yet someone chewy. There was a perfect amount of cheese to sauce and plenty of pepperoni scattered around the pie. There's also an option to get your pizza well done which results in more char and crunch on the pepperoni. I will definitely come back to try some of their other pizzas!

Yelp
GOOD PIZZA ON THE WESTSIDE OF SAN MARINO ======================================== My husband and I have visited Pizzanista! San Marino on our e-bikes a couple of times. Their pizza is very good and you can tell it's popular with the locals. It is about ten miles from our home on our bikes and a great spot for a lunch break. They have a few tables outside and while there is no bike rack you will find a spot close to the tables. You order inside and and they'll bring it out.

Yelp
I was really looking forward to trying Pizzanista's Sicilian pepperoni and prosciutto arugula pizzas. Unfortunately, both were letdowns. The biggest issue was the lack of cheese. It felt like they skimped out on the cheese, which significantly impacted the flavor and texture. Prime pizza's Sicilian is far, far better. The dough itself was also quite bland and underwhelming. It lacked any real character or flavor. I thought the pizza here was quite average overall.

Yelp
A great place to get one or more slices of pizza. A single slice is pretty filling. They crisp up the slices for you in their oven and everything we tried was delicious. Sicilian cheese, meat Jesus and Soppressata and mushroom were all perfectly crispy and tasty. Service is friendly and quick but there is limited seating inside and outside.

Yelp
GG no RE! Pizzanista! now does DoorDash. Literally game over for most of the Pizza places I frequent (Prince St is different enough to be an exception). The craziest thing is that I've found a solution to the Sicilian. IMO, still needs more cheese, but the soggy crust can be resolved with a "no cut" request. It survived 30+ minutes of steam and travel time basically entirely intact! I'd also like to quickly commend the staff for taking Delivery Service Orders seriously. Sometimes they double or triple tape to fully assure customers that their pizza has not been tampered with. The only thing is that with the Sicilian, more tape may be necessary as the tape probably insta-snaps if you lift the pie with one hand. I got my Sicilian with the tamper proof sticker broken. I was initially quite upset until I thought about it rationally. As far as the pizzas, they certainly taste infinitely better than if I drove there personally to pick up. The way I drive...the poor pizzas suffer quite a bit. Have had over a handful of DoorDash orders now and they've been consistent and exceeded expectations every single time. Fingers crossed!

Yelp
PIZZANISTA! San Marino is a delicious and creates hand tossed pizza dough with sizes that resemble New York style (thin flat, large slices). PIZZANISTA! San Marino is located off of Mission, in downtown San Marino with some curb side parking. PIZZANISTA! was founded by professional skate border Salman Agah, which may explain the skate boarding decor and merchandise that is available for purchase inside. My husband and I came in with our little girl dog and ended up ordering the following on a Tuesday night, 30 minutes before closing. We were greeted by a friendly employee behind the register and ended up ordering: Soppressata & Mushroom, $5.25 prior to tax- This slice is made with mozarella, spicy calabrese Italian salami, mushrooms, ricotta and garlic. My husband picked this. He thought it was just okay (I didn't have any). Cheese, $3.95 prior to tax- My mom had this and she liked it. But because of the size, she ate this over 2 separate meals since she is a small eater. Pepperoni, $4.95 prior to tax- We ordered 2 slices of this. My husband also had a slice of this and really liked it and would order this one again. My mom had one of these a few days after we purchased this) and she also really liked this pizza. Veggie Pizza, $4 prior to tax- This pizza is just loaded with vegetables, it had red peppers, olives, mushrooms, onions, spinach, garlic and tomatoes. I definitely felt very satisfied with the slice and the size. I was pretty full after one. ------------------------------- (Total= $26.40 after tax) Service was quick and friendly. We were also able to get a glass of water for our little girl. The pizza we had was really good and I would definitely be back again to try their other offerings.

Yelp
Came by Sunday around noon. They had only 1 other customer. (That should've been a hint when another place across was crowded). This place has indoor and outdoor seating. Order at the counter and you wait for the food at your table. I ordered 2 pepperoni slices to go. The service was fine. However, I would never order pizza from here again. It tasted like oily cardboard with salt on top. I love my pizza and I would still finish an okay tasting slice. I couldn't get through the pizza from here and I tossed it. I'm actually very surprised there's excellent reviews. I think it's very pricey for what it is. Tried the crust and it was super bland. I'm one to love carbs so I was disappointed all around with this place.

Yelp
A go to for pizza by the slice in San Marino. Located on busy Mission St across from the bicycle shop. Perfect for lunch. Pay for your slices at the counter inside, grab a seat outside in the sun, and wait for your toasty pizza to be brought to your table. A little pricey but you get what you pay for right?! The pizza is always flavorful, fresh, and oh so crunchy. Their most popular is the Sicilian. You can choose with or without pepperoni. You can even choose the corner or middle slice. Pair with a root beer and you're set. Bonus: Pizzanista is on the Too Good To Go app. If you're lucky you can nab a reservation for a surprise bag. But it's usually sold out. Love that they aren't wasteful with the food left over at the end of the day.

Yelp
I love this place for offering vegan pizzas, even by the slice! The service is a bit surly though and one guy took the big vegan slice I was pointing at to eat during his break. I was pretty miffed, but I enjoyed the smaller vegan slice I got. The slices aren't all the same size, so try to ask for a big piece if you're not on a diet. The semi outdoor and outdoor seating is cool so you can bring your non-service dog. There's a skate shop inside as well if you're into skateboarding.

Yelp
Delicious pizza by the slice anytime of the day is a great idea. We came to have lunch at Cielo next door and while waiting for our food we also got a slice of pizza cause it looked and smelled so good even from outside. We love to eat as you can see lol ... anyway the pizza was really good. We will go back to eat a whole pizza with my family soon. Friendly and inviting people working here.

Yelp
Quick and Fast !!! Definitely need to INSTA THIS PLACE ... they DELIVERED INSTANTANEOUSLY!!! But without the greasy and poor ingredients ... You won't leave this place feeling you lost a couple arteries ...you know that feeling of your tubes slowly closing up after a greasy fill! The sourdough dough was hard and held its own... soft center and crispy outside ... no grease toppings again and tasty .. I went with the mushroom... But I'll be back for all the rest... Oh ILL BE BACK ...ALLRIGHT!!!

Yelp
We picked up 5 slices for dinner. -Mac and cheese -Margherita -Soppressata & Mushroom -pepperoni -meat Jesus pizza The favorite... is Margherita! As someone who grew up in NYC.. Los Angeles pizza lacks red sauce so Margherita here was decent. The service was quick And Ambience is food hip San Marino'-ans

Yelp
Yum! My friends ordered 3 pizzas to go. They got pepperoni, cheese and veggie. I was a bit surprised they ordered just cheese but I decided to try it since the veggie pizza (without olives) was so good. The plain cheese pizza was actually so good! It seems like they put some good quality tasting cheese on it that I would actually order it myself. I really liked the dough too. It's hard to explain but it's one of the best pizzas around town. My friends liked the pepperoni but I didn't try it. I am one of those people that really misses the supreme at Costco but I think the veggie here is even better! Maybe its because the ingredients are higher quality.

Yelp
I found this place through google maps as I am a fan of pizza. I came to this place on a Saturday. Parking is a bit limited due to the structure of the street. I tried the margarita pizza slice which was thin, crusty, and yummy. I also ordered the Sicilian pepperoni pizza which was crunchy, dense, and yummy. The portions are generous and they are large slices. I also tried their soft serve duo which is chocolate and vanilla. The staff were friendly and open to questions. A yummy spot for lunch.

Yelp
Initial reaction opening box.... I stared in the box for at least 120 seconds d unmoved...like they not serious with this pizza. No way. Give me my money back, you'll can keep this one. GLUTEN FREE DOUGH IS LUNCHABLE QUALITY AT BEST. GF dough has come a long way and there are so many other great options out there for comparable pricing. Hot tongue (GF/V) Pura vita (GF/V) Settebello (GF) Prince street (v) This Vegan pizza's cheese and sauce are unspectacular. Amateur making pizza at home for the first time with no clue what they're doing. Would NOT recommend for anyone looking for Gluten Free OR Vegan pizza. Cost was WAY too high. ($22) go to pieology if you want something identical. Sorry Pizzanista owners but you are ROBBING people with this GF dough Sauce doesn't hit much either. Service was surly and uninviting. Walked in to 3 ppl behind the counter and no one greeted or acknowledged me, my husband or our 3month old baby (sure, he can't speak back yet) it wasn't until I gave an slightly apprehensive hello that they acknowledged we existed and wanted to order and pay for pizza ( my greatest error of 2024). I couldn't find pics for the GF dough so here it is for my peers. If you don't mind it, at least you know what you're buying into. Every review on here talking about their GF pizza didn't actually try the GF pizza. Womp.

Yelp
Yes, they have a Mac and Cheese Pizza. Yes, it's actually really frickin' good. Yes, it's only served on Sundays. Yes, there is a vegan variant of it as well. Normally I enjoy these pan/deep-dish pizzas, but the sicilian style here is absolutely drenched in it's own grease. On paper that might actually sound like flavor, but in reality you end up with a really floppy and soggy piece of thick doughy pizza. Due to this unfortunate drawback, I would much rather recommend the regular slices instead. They use the old world style pepperonis here, which are extremely flavorful and curl up into crispy little cups. In fact, I would recommend the plain Pepperoni over the Meat Jesus. The Meat Jesus is actually pretty good, but it sort of drowns out the deliciousness of the pepperonis. There is outdoor seating as well, and the staff are very nice. This place also offers vegan variations of their pizzas, including the mac and cheese pizza. I haven't tried them so I can't attest to the quality, but it's nice that they cater to that audience as well.

Yelp
Good vegan options. I'd go again if I was craving pizza. Small place but has seating outside. The service was good and helpful.

Yelp
Came by with the hubby to grab a pie and decided on the 18 inch supreme meat Jesus. Employees were super sweet and friendly. The shop itself was cute and quaint! I love that pizza by the slice was an option. Anyways, we ordered a whole pie and waited for it to be cooked which didn't take long at all. Grabbed a couple of sodas and we were on our way home. Pizza toppings were great! The outside crust was perfectly chewy and delicious! But it was one of those pizzas where the crust gets thin towards the middle and ends up moist and super floppy so it's hard to pick up and bite. Nevertheless, I would love to come back and try other pizzas.. had my eye on that white pizza!
google avatar

Joann C.

Yelp
Great local mom and pop type of pizza joint. The pizzas are all all display and sold by the slice. Parking is super easy in front of the store and they have plenty of seating inside and outside. There's even a table to play chess. Pizza- I got the margarita and pepperoni with bacon. Loved both! The crust is nice and thin and slightly thicker on the ends. It had a nice chew and was very tasty. Service- super quick! Very efficient
google avatar

Karen T.

Yelp
I ordered a few pizza slices to-go. The flavor is pretty good and they use the small type of pepperonis here which are nice and crispy. The pizzas were quite greasy-- the oil actually soaked through the box.. but might be the type of cheese they are using.
google avatar

Jared K.

Yelp
One of the best, most expensive vegan pies I've ever had. I'm glad they didn't chince on the meat, cause the dough we dished out for the dough they provided, wasn't cheap. Practically $50 for the pie! But my partner and I had two separate meals out of it. So when you want a cheat meal over a good deal, get it! But if you want a cheap meal, for a good steal, this isn't your place.

Yelp
Delicious. I would say best pizza in pasadena area. Love that they have both dairy and non dairy /vegan pizza options. Their vegan pizza is so yummy.

Yelp
I saw on Yelp! that Pizzanista had opened up in San Marino. Having been to the Long Beach store, I felt like I knew what to expect; however this pizza turned out to be so much better than what I remembered. In fact, it might be my favorite pizza I've had in Pasadena or the 626. We've been here three times and each time, the pizza slices were excellent. The pizza here is sold by the slice and when you order, the friendly staff heats it up. Usually I'm not a fan of slices because the reheating dries it out too much. But here, the slices came out perfectly - it didn't seem dried out or overcooked at all. My favorite slice was the soppressata and mushroom, but all were tasty. The white pie was actually one of the best white pies I've had in LA. There's not a lot of seating, but there are tables outside that are nice to sit at and look out into the cute little retail street in San Marino. The prices are okay: I would not say it's cheap but it's a fair value and in line with other slice places.

Yelp
Sooooooooooooo Good. I took my family here and they offer a really good NY style pizza. After moving from the Westside of LA it was honestly very hard to find decent pizza on this side of town. Service was slightly above average, not overly friendly, but authentic. Funny reading posts from "Elites" or people that feel the need to trash a business. If you don't like it talk to the staff and send it back. Not that hard. My daughter wanted me to say the ambiance is "mid" whatever that means but it was fine. Great place to get pizza in the SGV. Thank you Pizzanista!

Yelp
Skater meets pizza = Pizzanista Buy a board and get a cheese pizza for free so we bought a Caballero board and got a delicious free cheese pizza. Also ordered half mixed salad and a slice of meat jesus with 2 cokes. The pizza was perfection. Not too many toppings, cheese or sauce. It was well balanced! And the crust was crispy but still chewy on the inside. The avocado in my salad was still firm and needed a day or so to ripen. But it's a pizza parlor not a salad bar. Service was friendly but we waited a while to get our order. And it seemed like they were forgetting other orders too. They came by our table to deliver food that we didn't order and other tables were asking where their order was etc. come here for their delicious pizza which I would give 5 stars all day but bring extra patience and grace if you're going to dine there.
google avatar

Andrew S.

Yelp
Textbook NY style pizza. Cooked with a little crisp, but not burnt or dry. The sauce had a good flavor and the staff were really nice.
google avatar

Jessica W.

Yelp
The pizza here is delicious! I opted for the Sicilian pepperoni, but I feel it was very saugy. The crust is amazing tho. Also, I love the curl and crunch on pepperoni. I like the pizza slice more when I come back here. And the garlic knots were good but not enough garlic flavor. The prices on the slice is a bit up there, but the slices are generous. There are several seats outside and clean the table after you're done to put the tray and plates away on their cart area.

Yelp
Drive by Pizzanista a few times a week and have been meaning to try their pizza. Ordering online/via app was straightforward through Toast. It was the execution and customer service that was a let down. I ordered 1/2 meat Jesus and 1/2 arugula and prosciutto and a salad. Picked up the order and drove home. Should have checked because when I got home (with hungry kids) I saw that the pizza was missing prosciutto and only had arugula on the 1/2 order. I drove back to Pizzanista and on the way attempted to call them 5 times (a few times it was obvious someone picked up and hung up immediately) before they picked up. When they finally did pick up, I explained the situation and that I was returning with the incorrect order, the person I spoke to said they would have to speak to the manager. That's not to answer. The answer is "We're sorry about the mistake, we'll make another pizza for you and can we offer you something for your trouble". When I arrived, the workers said the same thing, they had to speak to the manager who never made an appearance. They said they would replace the pizza. While I was waiting, I asked a counter person if Pizzanista could comp me something for my trouble. The answer was they would speak to the manager. When someone did appear, it wasn't clear whether he was the manager or not, but I made my request again - perhaps garlic bread knots. The manager said they ran out and offered me ranch dressing. Ranch dressing. Ridiculous. First and last visit. I will continue driving past Pizzanista to Mama's Brick Oven Pizza and Pasta with no regrets at all.

Layla L.

Yelp
They got the Sicilian crust right; crunchy and fluffy it was so satisfying however the sauce was waaaay too sweet. I had to wipe most of it off. If they improved their sauce this place could be great. Their cheese pizza looks so good but I'm now reluctant to try it. Service was great. 4 tables to sit outside.
google avatar

Lisa T.

Yelp
It was just ok. I got a pepperoni pizza. Although the pepperoni was plentiful it was ultra spicy. They were really skimpy with the cheese and sauce. It was also over cooked. I had delivery so I didn't go in to the restaurant myself. It was delivered on time. I would have preferred to have it made correctly and delivered a little later.
google avatar

Mario G.

Yelp
Oh how I love this new San Marino pizza, high quality NY style sourdough pizza. Tasty (5stars) and pricy (4stars) - especially for the toppings but we live in Bidens inflated America so they gotta charge what they gotta do. I've only had the thin crust and had delivery but they have never failed me. For the price it's not an everyday pizza joint like Tony's but a great switch up when the kids are tired of OG.
google avatar

Olivia A.

Yelp
Meat Jesus Pizza Made me rethink thin crust pizza. It has flavor! It's Delicious . Tasted almost like eating a meat lovers pizza on a croissant toast crust. This is just one half of my slice of pizza. with Garlic knots w cheese in the background. ...they have the normal ones with cheese AND they have Vegan garlic knots.
google avatar

Esther L.

Yelp
Honestly, it's so hard to find good pizza in LA but PIZZANISTA really does a good job. My go to orders are margherita and meat jesus. Slices are huge! I usually just place an order for pick up, there is a small seating area out in front.
google avatar

Grace C.

Yelp
A great place to grab a bomb slice of pizza! I got to try the prosciutto and arugula, meat jesus, and soppressata and mushroom pizzas. If you're not a fan of salty things, I'd definitely recommend the prosciutto and arugula pizza. Underrated item here: the softserve. It is SO good, especially because they use Straus milk. Plenty of outdoor seating and parking. The wait gets kind of long during meal times, which honestly just tells you what a solid place this is.

Yelp
We had breakfast next door at Cielo and stopped in Pizzanista to take a couple of slices home for lunch. Cool, walkable location but also plenty of street parking. No room to dine in so get your pie to go. Love skating? There's a skate shop inside Pizzanista with decks, trucks, and wheels for sale. The meat Jesus pizza was very solid: excellent flavor and decent crust, bit a tad on the greasy side. I'd give it an 8 out of 10. The macaroni looked cool but wasn't very flavorful. It's an interesting concept but the macaroni didn't have the right flavor or texture. Get the macaroni right and you've got a winner. Until then, it's more of a novelty that didn't live up to expectation. Prices are steep but it's San Marino. I'll come back for the meat Jesus.

Yelp
I've been to the other PIZZANISTA location, so I was pretty excited when I saw a location in San Marino was opening. We stopped by on a Sunday around 1pm and it was BUSY. They were out of a number of popular slices (e.g. meat jesus). My husband and I ordered two slices each and ended up waiting close to 30 minutes, which seems like a very long time to wait when you order pizza slices that are already made (and they need to reheat). Despite the long wait time, the pizza was excellent. I just wish they had the slices were wanted to order. Definitely need to plan on coming either before or after the lunch rush.

Yelp
The pizza here never disappoints. Never an issue with parking or seating. Highly recommend this little shop for a quick bite. Friendly staff and clean neighborhood. Can't ask for anything more.

Yelp
The slices are still the best thing at PIZZANISTA and there's no better pizza in the SGV than this place. Service is friendly and they're slowly building their team as they work through the soft opening - the grand opening will probably be sometime this month and they'll have longer opening hours then. It's a very chill atmosphere - order your slice, pay and then find a table to eat.

Yelp
If you're looking for solid vegan pizza, you've found the right spot! I ordered both the vegan veggie and vegan pepperoni slices. The staff were very friendly and the food came out quickly. The vegan veggie was my favorite, but the vegan pepperoni was good too. The slices are thin, similar to New York style with a good ratio of cheese and tomato sauce to toppings. While a bit on the pricier side, I would say they were well worth it. And if you are looking for a non vegan option, they have plenty of those too.

Yelp
The best in the game. Literally the best thing to happen to our city I am sooo glad they opened up! Everything is amazing and dare I say I like this location even more than the downtown one not just because it's closer but it's overall just more clean and convenient from parking to service and of course their killer pizzas, true perfection. I just have one question can you please deliver ? I can't find it on Ubereats or other apps :( even though I live very close I wish they delivered id order even more often lol highly recommend!

Yelp
Had some lunch here on a Thursday. Sat outside, as there are no seats in doors. So if it's hot, maybe take to go. Split a Cesar salad which was delicious and had some lemon in the dressing so it was fresh tasting. A few different slices of pizza. Deep Dish pepperoni, Soppressata and cheese and the Margherita pizza. Delicious. I didn't get her name but checked in on us twice to make sure food was good and sincerely said have a great day. Great place for a slice of delicious pizza.

Yelp
Finally some quick inexpensive eats in SM. I've been to their DTLA location and it always was a five star line up of pizza slices. This location has a cute skateboard and tshirt shop with some cool items I would like to add to my tshirt collection. I ordered the thick square sliced pepperoni pizza and it was delicious as always. There are plenty of tables and chairs available or you can stand up and eat at the sidewalk counter.

Yelp
Thought the pizzas were just okay. Perhaps because I prefer a sweeter and more tart tasting sauce base. Their pizza sauce was on the saltier side.... Loaded with pepperoni... their pizza tasted like salt bomb. Good dough tho!

Yelp
Pizza here is sooooo good! I used to rate Joe's Pizza my number one, but because of the distance and salt content, I was hoping for an alternative. After almost 10 years, I found it. This place ranks pretty close. Y'all, it's in the crust--it's chewy and the flavor is perfection. I've had the Sicilian pepperoni, which those pieces are HUUUGGEEE, the soppressata mushroom is my fave, but a bit salty, and classic cheese is also really good. I've had the white and it was a bit too plain for me, but I think I'll be back here whenever the pizza craving hits. Food is good and I love that service is really fast and everyone is so nice!
