I love this pizza place. Always hot fresh pizza and the people here are so nice. I walked in today and it seems like they made the place smaller but that might be a great benefit to the store just because now they have more room. I really recommend this place if yoy are looking for a good pizza place.

Their style is not for everyone, but I like it. It blends west coast norms with some other regions. Would like them to try putting out some Indian pizza and larger pizzas. It’s a good value when I can use discounts from DoorDash.

I tried Pizzava and ordered The Backyard pizza. Overall, the pizza was pretty good. They don’t skimp on toppings—the pizza came loaded with ingredients, which I really appreciated. The crust reminded me a bit of Domino’s, but for the price it’s definitely worth it. The food came out fast, and another big plus is that the restaurant stays open late into the night. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

Tired it once and that was it. I got a medium combo pizza, 10 wings. I was not impressed. Let call this white peoples food and even though I fall into that category I love seasoning. The wings looked like they were genetically modified somehow extra big, little meat, mostly fat I only ate 4 outta 10 so yeah there's that. 3 slices of pizza in 2 days. I mean you really cant mess up pizza but there was just something off about it. I can't quiet put my finger on it. 1 medium combo pizza 10 BBQ wings 1 2liter coke 1 can coke =====$42 On the upside they do stay open till 3am. Hope this helped someone good luck and happy dining.

Fantastic pizza, phenomenal service and a super awesome owner. There is no room to dine in, but that's alright. Pizza crust is perfect- not too thin or thick, lightly crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Toppings are generous, balanced, and well seasoned, without being overly salty. Sauces and cheeses are perfectly balanced as well, with just the right amount of sweetness and acidity. Would recommend to anyone at any time of day, but especially late nights. Half-and-half option allows you try two at a time. Pictured is the spicy jalapeño alfredo and their classic Hawaiian. Both were outstanding.

Pizza 🍕 at 2:20 AM is a total saving grace for those of us out bar hopping and liquored up. I didn’t expect much from the pizza 🍕 with a cauliflower crust but to my surprise I couldn’t tell the difference between regular pizza crust. Oh the pizza 🍕 overall was delicious and I plan on making it my go to pizza 🍕 choice from now on. Nicely done I highly recommend it. Cost was under $20 for a medium sized pizza 🍕 that was plenty for the two of us. We ordered The Boss Pizza 🍕 I don’t have that option below.

This is my experience with Pizzava Reno Midtown. Night of 12/20/25 morning of 12/21/25 - I placed an order at 2:00am for delivery, person said about an hour. I received text saying driver was waiting for delivery numerous times, said pizza would be delivered at 3:27am Pizzava Closed at 3:00am 🤔💭 mmmm 4:00am Pizza 🍕 never arrived call store, no one answered. 3rd time I’ve had issues, time before last lost ninety dollars because door dash driver took my food. Took me a day to call Pizzava because I wasn’t well, they said they couldn’t give me a credit because I needed to call right a way. This time I called right a way store closed at 3:00am no one answered. I called my bank next to dispute the charge, screw me once not twice. 4:07am received text saying my pizza as well as rest of order was stolen. Ha Ha Ha joke is on you pizzava. I disputed the charge with my bank. You not only lost $50. But you lost a regular customer that spends a lot of money every month because I’m disabled and can’t get to grocery store so I order a lot of pizza. Update: from last night I called to talk to manager at Pizzava talked to kid refused to give info said he would get manager, manager working at 4:50pm night shift of 12/21/25 refused to come to phone to talk about incident or tell me what happened to order. Obviously these people don’t like to resolve issues the right way, very shady business practices, very shady people. I will not be doing anymore business with. I advise you to do the same unless you want to pay for something you never got. Update: Called back 3rd time to see if I can find employee that was working last night it was Tory, very nice young girl, she confirmed order was stolen by door dash driver that they called to pick up order because they didn’t have a regular delivery driver. I have approximately $22.OO on my card till money goes back into my account so I asked in good faith if she could comp me an order since I haven’t eaten all day and since it was not my fault, she said no. I called back 5 minutes later to see if I could purchase small order just to bring my blood sugar up for few days till money was back in my account, I am a regular customer and order a lot but again by the time they add tax, delivery charge and even with military discount, I didn’t have enough. I guess I’ll just starve till money goes back into my account, 3 to 5 possibly 7 days, no way to treat a regular customer with diabetes and cancer caused by military service. Not veteran or military friendly business I guess. I just needed a few pieces of pie at $5.99 a slice 3,4,5 slices to keep blood sugar up, but even 3 slices with tax and delivery is $25.00. No compassion for the disabled. Next week I get my check and I’ll go back to ordering $150. to $200. A week but not from here.

Put an order in tonight for pickup, was told come get it in 25 minutes. Showed up and was basically ignored for 40 minutes while my food sat on the back rack while all the doordash people were served first. Got asked my name for the third time, was told there wasn't an order for me to eventually find out it was sitting on the rack the entire time I sat there and patiently waited.

Oops I did it again! Pizzava + RSL for a fantastic night out or wrap up of a busy work night too! This time the Meataholic was on the menu, which has ALL the meats! Ham, sausage, bacon, pepperoni and lots of cheese and red sauce is a combo that always wins in my book, and Pizzava doesn't miss. The giant tub of house ranch too for $2 is the real hero though. Well, that and the friendly and speedy service! Future me says I probably won't do the Meataholic again though. It's just too much topping for the dough to handle here. I like my pie to have a bit of structure and this one really folded under the weight of all that meat, grease, and ooey gooey cheese, not to mention I could only enjoy two slices because it was SO heavy! Still. It was DEEELICIOUS! IDK how they train, but the team is always awesome here. The guy taking our order hit all the notes, packed up plates and napkins, and made sure we had everything we needed to devour this dinner. I just love Pizzava and you will too. I wish they delivered to my area, but then again I am happy they don't because it would show up way too often!

Needed a quick dinner fix during our Reno visit and found Pizzava through Yelp! We were already walking through midtown so this was the perfect place to check out. It's definitely an order for pickup kind of spot. The prices were average for pizza and wings but they do offer military discount which was great! We only had to wait about 15 mins for our order which gave us some time to check out a few shops nearby. Super fast service and the pizza did not disappoint!

This is my go to for midnight pizza for sure! This is my... 4th, 5th? Time going here and their pizza is so good. I got some deals when I first moved here and I was hesitant, but my gosh I was drooling. Me and my friend anytime we craving pizza like 10/11pm we like: Pizzava. The staff there are super, always kind and seeing them in action in the back is always great to see (my adhd kicks in where I see that dough flying, so do my eyes). The ambiance there is super chill, depending who is playing music they have a pretty rad playlist going. I always go back there for more. Next time I'll try something that isn't just pizza for sure.

Shockingly unsanitary kitchen oper for all to see with no fucks given. Gloves? Sure, if we feel like it. Wash your hands? Waste of time? Don't like the contant, ear-splitting, metal rock blasting over the speakers? Sit outside then. Want a Caesar Salad? Sure, I'll just use my bare hands to pull apart this Cobb Salad, throw away the extra toppings, scratch my ass, then put a handful of chicken into the plastic container. Got a complaint? You better be ready to be told to "fuck off". There to pick up an order? Get in line behind the customers who are at the head of the line and are only now looking at the menu. Ready to order but no one is at the register? Sorry not sorry, you better wait until we finish our chat about why Diddy had so much baby oil. Oh, and you better not shit talk us on social media or Reddit, because we'll see it and tell you where to stick your opinions. Not worth it at any price.

Fantastic pizza, fantastic late night bar food spot, and classic pizza walk in feel. If you're bar hopping and want to share some pretzle bites, the ones here are fantastic. Every time I come here, there's always a new person working here but I've never at an issue with anyone. Overall, great pizza and snacks, fantastic spot.

DISCLAIMER: Food was delivered via "Uber Eats" application, and will solely be based on food quality. I had a good offer from Uber Eats to receive a huge discount (40%) to order from this restaurant. I decided on getting one pizza under the "Create Your Own Pizza 16" section. The options I was given and modified are written below. - Extra Large Size - Two base sauce: Alfredo (costed an extra $1) - Crust is Parmesan (costed an extra $1) Experience: The pizza looks promising but it doesn't match with the picture. I received the coldest, more unappetizing, and "made one day ago" pizza from this place that night. I forgot to take a picture of my pizza, before i tossed it in the trash . However, I screenshotted their "Cheese Pizza" to this review, which is attached to this review. Although delivered through an app, I don't believe they had any impact in the quality of their food I received, because my driver was quick and amazing. Overall, I was pretty disappointed with their product but I am unsure if their "dine-in" experience would be better.

We've been ordering from this location consistently since 2020, and by far this is the worst pizza we've ever received. Seems like someone's falling asleep on the job because they forgot 3 out of 5 toppings. I understand it's 1am, but this is just sad. It was a delivery order so it was too late to say anything by the time the driver left. I gave 2 stars because this place has done very well in the past.

12/17/2023- We had the pleasure of sampling a few slices at the special event for Northern Diabetes.. I was impressed with the pizza, decided to order it for a late lunch.. Ordered through DoorDash and was also impressed! Went with the spicy Alfredo pizza. Arrived just as promised and the pizza was still warm not cold.. another plus. The Alfredo sauce was good and went well with the toppings.. Only minus some of the chicken pieces were hard and dry... Would I order again ? Yes!.. and try another flavor!

Thought I'd treat myself to Pizzava delivery on this rainy weekday workday. Ordered a medium cheese pizza for my son and I and barely had time to take the picture before I wolfed down a coupled of slices. Love the chewy dough, fresh red sauce, and gobs of fresh mozarella. Love the price too, as it seemed to be a little less expensive than our Reno competitors. Pizzava stays open till 3 am! That's A+ for those graveyard workers or late night studiers. Nice treat for a midday meal. Well worth the order!

Oh my world! My tastebuds were in pizza heaven from this veggie pizza (without the olives). 'Twas insanely delicious! Not too oily, perfect crisp in every bite, and the airy crust just adds that extra oomph. You can tell that they took their sweet time perfecting this pizza from my photo provided. If you're in town, definitely drop by this place to fulfill your pizza cravings! It's a small take-out joint, not sure if they have seating inside, but they have A/C while you wait for your pizza. Thank you for existing! Please don't ever go out of business!

Haven't tried the pizza yet but the pastas and calzones are packed full of delicious toppings of your choosing and the crust is perfectly crisp! The staff is always friendly when I stop in late nights on my way home from work. And you never have to guess if they're open or not because it's always 11am-3am every day to serve your any-time cravings for delivery or carry out.

This is some dang good pizza!! The crust here is thinner than most but not crispy thin crust. Easy to fold. The pizza sauce is delicious. I am pretty simple and just get pepperoni. An XL was perfect for 2 people with some leftovers. The price also was good for the portion. I've gotten delivery via doordash from here but this time I went in to pickup and wow were they working their butts off in there! They were super busy with calls, mobile orders, and delivery workers, but they managed to keep their cool and be extremely kind and patient. I like that there are loading zone parking spots, I was lucky to get one, but hard to say how often they are available being in a hot spot of midtown.

Fantastic pizza! Reno scoring massive points for giving us excellent pizza, the likes of which I wish we had more of in LA! This was perfect for an evening staying in at the hotel.

I was very impressed with the quality of pizza and service we received here the other night. My girlfriend and I stumbled in here at 2:30 am on Saturday night and ordered the steak bomb pizza. Not only did they have it made in 8 minutes flat, but they upgraded our medium to a large at no extra cost. The staff were incredibly friendly, offered us a ton of ranch for free, and then to top it all off, offered us a second pizza that had been called in and never picked up for free! Will be coming back here for sure. The pizza was delicious too!

So impressed with their customer service!! I have place large orders (12+ XL pizzas) from Pizzava for several quarterly events and I have been impressed each time. First off, our team is pretty picky and they all love the pizza! They never skimp on ingredients and they always use fresh ingredients :) They have a variety of specialty combinations and our favorite is the jalapeño Hawaiian and of course pepperoni. They get the order right every time, they deliver on time, the staff has always been super friendly and knowledgeable. That makes a huge different when you're the pain in the butt customer who can't remember what you ordered last time, and they go above and beyond to track it down and promptly call you back! Yay for awesome customer care! They also have a great rewards program that keeps paying off! We will keep ordering from them as our "go to pizza place" for company events :-D

Pizza was delicious. I definitely want to try more of their food again. We were a little bummed out that we couldn't eat inside since there was no seating. It wasn't busy, there just wasn't an option to eat your food there. Staff seemed a little overwhelmed that day as well. But I will return to try more pizza

This is supposed to be a "late night" service place. Unless you order from a third party service don't expect anybody to attend to within 20 minutes. This is an abomination to late night service in Reno. It's pathetic to what it used to be five years ago with places such as Noble Pie and Golden Flower. We came to order wings and it took 20 minutes to service us and it took another 20 minutes to actually get wings in town so you might as well order from any third-party service and cut the business completely out of it. We were trying to do the right thing by coming in and ordering from the business directly, but they are obviously uninterested in our direct business. So from now on, I'll be ordering, if I ever choose to order from them again, from DoorDash. The wings were OK at their finest, but definitely not a place. I would choose to spend my money again.

I wish... Shannon and crew could appropriate the building across the street from their South Virginia location. Not to say the antique store is not holding it down well but a breeze way could be created north to south right through the building and you could load and unload there.

Worst wings ever. Slimy, not at all seasoned like how they're supposed to be. Not crunchy at all. Tastes like frozen reheated wings.

This is a go to, affordable, late night pizza spot. They're always very quick with preparation. If you choose delivery, it is not that much more expensive. I also don't mind hanging out in the space while waiting for my pizza. Their BBQ Chicken pizza is my favorite off of the menu! Give it a try!

After gorging on Thanksgiving staples like Turkey and Mashed Potatoes, we wanted something simple and low maintenance for dinner tonight. Pizza delivery is an obvious solution in these kinds of situations but living in Reno, there are SOO many options. I voted for Pizzava not so much for the Pizza but for the Cinnamon Balls. You know, the delectable chewy pizza dough balls that are coated in butter and cinnamon and come with CREAM CHEESE (need I say more?) frosting for dipping. That was what I needed but we added a Pizza (The Boss) for good measure. We ordered delivery because the parking is so limited there, it's nearly impossible. We were told to expect an hour wait for our foods to be delivered but to our delight, it arrived in just over 30 mins. We were super stoked about this until we realized our pizza was room temperature and our Cinnamon Balls were dry and hard as if they'd been sitting around in the box for hours and hours. Sad day for me as it was my main reason for choosing Pizzava. Their pizza is usually pretty tasty but the Cinnamon Balls are the reason I choose them over another Pizza place. They are what stands out for me and this time, they just weren't good. I'm really hoping it was a fluke and maybe we just got a bad batch.

While visiting Reno, we were craving some late night pizza. Pizzava was close by, open late and delivered! We placed the order online and it was delivered with 45 minutes. We received it with plates, peppers and Parmesan cheese. We ordered an XL pepperoni and bacon pizza and a medium cheese. The XL pizza was perfection!!! However the cheese pizza was burnt (the crust was black & crunchy). We ate it so fast, I didn't get any pictures. But overall we'd definitely order again.

Every weekday morning, I watch Chris Murphy and Taylor Winkle on channel 11. Today, they had Pizzava on , for National Pizza Day. All the news anchors LOVED the pizza. They enjoyed it so much, it made me want to have pizza for dinner! So, at 8am, I decided what my family was having for dinner. I never had Pizzava before, and my goal this year, is to try new places! The menu had so many choices!! I chose 3 flavors I believe the family would want. I will order again because there are more I want to try!!! So much flavor in each slice! My mom was happy because the crust was soft enough for her to eat all of it (she usually doesn't eat it). I highly recommend you try this pizza today!

Anyone who knows me well enough knows that pizza is my TMNT alter ego food group of champions! Today, we celebrated the 5-year milestone of Pizzava, our community-driven, family-owned, slice of heaven in every bite pizza masters. Five years for anything; whether a career milestone with the same company, or a business serving the elements of uncertainty, and Pizzava has proven themselves worthy to be notable as a community icon. Today, from 10:30am-4:00pm, or until the dough was gone (is it ever truly 100% gone though?), this crew of hero's tossed dough, swirled sauce, sprinkled generous amounts of cheese to hand out large cheese pizzas for an amazing $2.99/each with a "reasonable limit" per person. I picked up two after making the journey from the North Valleys along with a couple others via an online order that was not logistically timed to when the cheese pies would be ready since you ordered those in-store only. After receiving my order about an hour after arrival, I made the trip back home and put the cold slices in a 400-degree oven for 5-minutes on a pizza stone and everything was restored back to its original perfection! Now before I get into how amazing the food was, let me talk about service. The crew at Pizzava were calm, cool, collected, and smiling! The store was immaculately clean as I've always seen it. All of the customers were excited; many had never had the magic that is Pizzava and after talking to me a bit, they couldn't wait to come back after eating their first slice of heaven...pizza heaven that is!

Hot, cheesy and really really good pizza. Delivered to us at Rum Sugar Lime. My first experience eating this fantastic pizza with amazing ranch dressing. My daughters have been ordering your pizza for a couple of years. Thank you for creating really really good Food....Pizzava. A five star Pizza! Julie A

Called because our house was showing out of the delivery range. We had just had our flights canceled over and over again and a 6 hour travel day turned into a 30 hour nightmare. They graciously agreed to deliver to us anyway and we are so grateful. The delivery driver was so sweet and wished us a better rest of our day. Food was great too!

Always quick delivery and great service! My husband would say their pizza is one of his favorite in all Reno. I have a gluten allergy so order their cauliflower crust. It's good for cauliflower crust! But I've found that if I get it with pepperoni that the grease makes it soggy. I've switched to getting the Hawaiian and that is much better! Definitely worth ordering from if you are gluten free and craving pizza

We ordered pizza from Pizzava, to have delivered to a local bar. We waited almost an hour for our pizza, which was good, but we were very disappointed in the service. Our delivery person was nice, but arrived with nothing but our two XL Pizzas and two salads. When we asked for plates and utensils, He offered to drive back to the restaurant for plates. We then got a call from the restaurant telling us they were out of plates. We spent $86 and tipped 25%, and didn't get a napkin or a plate; there were two forks for the salads. The six of us shared two forks for the salads and we used paper towels out of the bathroom to eat our pizza on. We will never order delivery from them again. Very disappointing. Update - the owner reached out to me regarding our issue and we will try them again in the future.

I am back in town this week, finishing up my stay now. I had to enjoy Pizzava while I was here. I enjoyed it twice over the last week, once last Wednesday and again tonight. They have some of the best pizza I have ever had! I always get the extra large double pepperoni. Just delicious! They use good quality pepperoni and lots of it! Delivery is relatively quick and arrives usually within the promised time and to my hotel. Thanks for the great pizza and I will see you on my next trip back to Reno.

Pizzava was a long time favorite, but last couple of orders have been disappointing. They are on the more expensive end and as of lately my pizza has been cold and wings lack sauce. The fettuccine Alfredo is one of the best though! Worth a shot to try, but can be a hit or miss

We ordered chicken wings here with bbq and buffalo sauce on the side and medium pizza woth everything on it. The food quality here is pretty good. I like how everything is flavorful without being too salty. The pizza was great too, we shared between two people and it was more than enough for is plus the wings. All in all, we enjoyed the food and the wait wasnt toi bad either.

When we travel, we try to find the best pizza in the area. We saw great reviews for Pizzava in Carson City, so we tried it. What a find! The pepperoni pizza very very good. The cheese was flavorful, and the crust was perfect. The young man at the counter was friendly and personable. If we are ever in Carson City again, Pizzava will be on our itinerary!

I reviewed this spot years back when they first opened but they have grown and improved so much since then that they deserve an update! These brothers (I think they are brothers) continue to make excellent pizza and more importantly continue to do so with excellent service. But even with them doing all these amazing things the one thing that impresses me the most is their intelligence and understanding the market. I have operated a hotel for over 15 years now and needless to say I have made thousands of recommendations on restaurants and pizza delivery. The one who offer the best food/service and more consistently come by with menus (even free food) have always got my entire teams support. I hope these guys continue to spend the small amount of effort and money on these things. I assure you it's worth it!!

3.8 -- Pizzava is our go to pizza spot! I have to take a pause on eating dairy, but I love that they have a vegan cheese option that actually tastes good! The cinnaballs are also sooo delish and not to be missed! Taking a star off for order accuracy though--I'd say every third or fourth order we have has something wrong with it, namely missing toppings. For example one time I got pepperoni and mushroom, and it came with only mushroom. A pretty big bummer considering that we aren't asking for many to begin with.

I really like their pizza, and it's even good the next day (can't say that for most places). Their service has been good for me every time - even if I've only gone to the newly opened shop. The seating is nice enough for a pizza place - clean and plenty of room. Plus, their delivery seems very responsive. It's nice to have a near-by pizza shop close to home!

By far my favorite pizza place in town! They do what they do and that's pizza (might add that the garlic knots and cheesy breadsticks are pretty clutch as well). They are located in midtown in a cute little pizza shop. Parking is not plentiful (it's midtown - never is). Most of the time I order through DoorDash to keep it easy. Always hot, fresh and well made!

A friend convinced me to go in on an delivery order for watching the foosball. He loves this place but I don't get the hype. It's very average pizza and when you factor in delivery, it's something like 30 bucks for a medium two topping pie. There are just so many better places in town with way better pizza for the same or less. If you want pizza delivery at 2 in the morning though, this is the only place to do that.

What has happened to your chicken wings?? They are now half the size they were a few months ago. It's funny that you are putting them in smaller foil trays....I suspect to make them look bigger. Sad. If this is your new normal perhaps you should lower the price, or add more wings. Pizza was good, but more greasy. Online ordering was a breeze, and our order was delivered sooner than expected. Would have appreciated napkins and plates. **UPDATE. A different vendor is providing the smaller wings. The owner reached out to make it right. thanks!!
