On The Hill, Pizzeria da Gloria turns out light, wood-fired pies with serious craft. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch spotlighted its Bonci pizza and praised the tangy, airy crust; Sauce Magazine also celebrated it among the year’s best new restaurants. Expect vibrant toppings, natural wines, and a neighborhood patio scene.

This is a small place pumping out delicious in house made food. We started with the meatballs, roasted Brussel sprouts and the creamy Italian salad. The meatballs were moist and had a great texture. The sauce was just the right amount and had a little spice to them...just the way I like them. The salad was outstanding and not like a salad I have had before. Great toppings and such great dressing. The sprouts were on another level of delicious and I can say hand on heart the best I have ever had out. They were charred just right and were not bitter as sprouts can be at times. I got the sausage pizza and added mushrooms. That was the right choice for sure. The sausage was perfectly cooked and the flavor was spot on as well. The crust was thin but not the thin St Louis style thank goodness. It was Neapolitan style and had the beautiful blisters feom the wood fired oven. Absolutely outstanding place all around. Will be back for sure.

Some of the best pizza you will ever taste - wood-fired, perfect leoparding. Plentiful toppings that stretch all the way to the margins. I really enjoyed the old-world cupped pepperoni. Our friendly server Langdon was happy to take care of us and answer all our questions about their menu. I do have to say that the menu was well thought out and went beyond the typical pizza menu you find in most joints.

Sadly I’ve always lived only the next neighborhood over from this gem, and in all the years it’s been open I’ve never really given their pizza an honest try… until tonight. I’ve had it a few times over the years, but it’s always been take out or one of their specialty pizzas that were 🫳🏼🫴🏼🫳🏼. And while it’s always been good, I was never like, “this is goooood good”… until tonight. I shoulda known better, that this particular type of pizza NEEDS to be eaten right out of the oven to truly appreciate it in all of its “Gloria”. And tonight I was finally able to do that, in their quaint & cozy dining room. (I still need to experience their courtyard patio) Aside from a classic Margherita, I can best judge any pizza by trying it in the other form that is my true “go-to” - pepperoni & mushroom. And wow, I honestly can’t remember the last time I had a round pizza in this version that was this good (including Noto & my own). The cup & chars were perfectly crisped and spaced, the added mushrooms were premium & plentiful (usually they’re disappointingly topped too scarcely for my liking), and the pickled jalapenos paired perfectly (no surpise there since I also utlilize them for added tang with my pepperoni freezas). The sauce & cheese ratio (where 90% of pizzerias fail IMO) were spot on which allowed them both to shine and burst through in a complimentary way on the taste buds. And the crust had just the right amount of crunchy chew, artisan flavor, and slight flop that blur its genre between Neapolitan & New Haven. What a treat this pizza experience was 👌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼 So happy to have rediscovered Pizzeria da Gloria in its intended purpose. And even happier that it’s so conveniently close to home. Sauce - 8 Cheese - 8 Crust/Texture - 9 Toppings - 9 Overall Flavor - 10 Ratio Balance - 10 … Total - 9.00

This was my first time eating here, and the food was fantastic. We were a group of 10 at lunch on a Friday, and we were seated quickly. The meatball appetizer was excellent! I got a sausage and mushroom pizza, and it was some of the best sausage I've had on a pizza. It was finely ground and seasoned perfectly. I left very satisfied. Additionally, the staff was top notch - very attentive and friendly. We each ordered pizzas (10 total), and we were eating them within 30 minutes of ordering them. Awesome!

Google
Top knotch wood fired Zas here! I been a regular for almost a year now and I always find myself back monthly. Great seasonal changing menu along with using local farmers to bring high caliber tastes. I sometimes grab a just mozzarella pi and bring it home to add vegan pepperoni and leafy greens.

Was very excited to try this place, my daughter has been all over Italy eating pizza and hubby is a true pizza connoisseur. Pizza offerings are authentic and do change with the seasons. My daughter always tries the Margarita as that's her true Itslian test if they don't offer Marinara, she said the sauce was wonderful and loved the crust. Hubby ordered the mushroom and added sausage and felt it was the best he'd had so far in St Louis. We also ordered the Italian salad which was good, but for the price point was too small. We followed up dinner with Tiramisu, we almost didn't order it because it was $15. It lacked espresso flavoring and we wouldn't order again. Overall dinner was very good, service was great and sitting on the patio was very nice. We sat next to a fountain, but it wasn't on, so not sure if that works. We would come back to try more pizzas for sure.

Google
Pizza showed up from slice app/doordash on time and hot. 3 orders of Meatballs too. I got 2 pepperoni and jalapeño and one fancy one I don't remember the name of, but was amazing. Flavorful and great smelling. Extremely filling. The crust was perfectly cooked and pepperoni crispy.

Google
Drinks and appetizers were delicious! The pizza was soggy and floppy unfortunately. Disappointing since this is a pizza restaurant and should be what they do best in my opinion. Maybe ask for well done if you are going to order some. I would recommend the drinks and appetizers, not so much the pizza overall.

Yelp
I did take out service on Valentine's Day and man this place was popping! They were fully booked and people were waiting! Just goes to show how popular and good the food was! However because of this I did have to wait an extra 15minutes on top of my scheduled pick up time which was a little annoying but understandable due to the rush of the day. Each person in my group got a pizza (~$20 a pie, so a little expensive per person) and we shared so we could try different ones. Depending on the person you can definitely finish a whole pie by oneself so they aren't super large but definitely filling! I personally got the pasta pizza which I thought was kinda fun as I hadn't seen that in a while! It was really good, the vodka sauce was light but still flavorful and it didn't overpower the other ingredients in the pizza. The main thing that I had was that the pizzas didn't stay super hot by the time I got home (~15min drive) so just keep that in mind if your pizza needs require that! Definitely had a good overall experience and would love to come back and dine in next time!

Yelp
Located in the iconic Hill neighborhood in St.Louis famous for its Italian eatery's. Pizza Da Gloria is an excellent accompaniment to the great restaurants located there. It was crowded and you need a reservation, to eat in the main dining room, we didn't have a reservation so we had the option of eating on the heated patio which was almost as comfortable as eating in the dining room area. The waitress was friendly and helpful and waters were filled often. We started with the three crispy mortadella skewers dressed with agrodolce sauce. The meat was cooked perfectly, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and the sauce was fantastic. After eating the skewers (we saved the sauce to dip our pizza crust ends into) and I'm glad we did. The pizzas were wood fired, oven baked, with airy structured dough that was crisp on the outsides of the crust and beautiful air bubbles (which I Love). The inside was fluffy and tasty, We ordered the Pepperoni with some pickled jalapeños which added some zing, but not too much tomato sauce, oregano, mozzarella, cup & char pepperoni, pecorino romano. The sausage pizza was delicious with juicy sausage crumbs sprinkled evenly. The mushroom pizza was a white based pizza, white wine lemon cream sauce, garlic, mozzarella, roasted cremini and oyster mushrooms, black pepper, parsley, pecorino romano. Then for dessert we split a tiramisu, chocolate delight. It was all devoured and we will be back for more soon!

Yelp
Cute pizzeria on The Hill. Made a reservation through their website. Lots of drink selections, wine and beer. Great salads and pizza. We selected a pizza that the proceeds would aid tornado victims. Nice!! St. Louis style with provel cheese it was delicious. Bonus for me that they offer turkey sausage. Salads were fresh and drinks were cold. Nice staff and a cute restaurant.

Yelp
Oh my goodness! So delish! Stopped in for lunch between appointments. I'd heard of this b place but never been. All of the waitstaff were kind, friendly, and efficient. I'd mentioned the coming appointment and the waitress immediately took my order and promptly brought my salad followed by the pizza, a yummy lunch special. The house Balsamic salad dressing is the best I've tasted! Delicious. The pizza was hot and crispy but chewy as well. It was great. Took half the pizza home. The place filled up as I ate and the owner (I believe) came out and helped expedite service. Excellent choice for a delicious lunch. You can see into the kitchen which was fun to see the pizzas being made. Great place with a nice atmosphere. I'll be back with friends!

Yelp
Outstanding pizza and appetizers! Staff service excellent, drinks ice cold and place is uber-popular at prime dining times. Located in very popular section of St Louis called 'The Hill' where there are many other excellent Italian eateries and bars. A definite "must try" if in this area- 9 out of 10 on my scale!

Yelp
Had the Mortadella Skewers. They were perfectly cooked, a little crispy around the edges with a sublime agridolce sauce. Next had the Sausage Pizza. Perfect crust with delicious sausage and cheeses. The service was great, friendly and professional. Strictly street parking, but there were fairly close spaces available. It wasn't super crowded but you can make reservations which is nice. Can't wait to return!
google avatar

Brendan M.

Yelp
Pizza was wonderful! Time limit is an issue when your server doesn't check on you often or your drinks take too long, which is what happened to us. Also they charge a 3% fee when you use a credit card. Great food though!
google avatar

Yelp
Ordered online for Marg pizza. Curbside pickup in back parking lot. Pizza was flavorful. Slightly burnt crust. Olive oil taste was good and crust was nice and crispy. I'd recommend ordering and dining in for full experience. Located right off corner of Marconi. Do try.

Yelp
Great pizza, interesting variety, well made and a superb char Their own cocktails, only the second place I have found ferment artichoke cocktails on a menu and it was delicious Service is to be as expected Excellent use of the space with all the dining area and pizza oven. *Update* What a difference a week makes! When to lunch on Saturday with a 1pm reservation. Promptly seated and served then waited over 50 minutes for a couple of menu (no sub) pizzas to be made. It was still good but we did not want to spend our afternoon waiting for pizza.

Yelp
Came in on a Saturday for dinner with reservation for 5, seated immediately. Food 5/5: ordered the mushroom pizza, was really delicious, made in a pizza oven, crispy crust with plentiful toppings. Ambiance 4/5: casual, retro pizza shop vibes, tables are a bit close together and very loud inside Service 4/5: friendly and polite but slow. Took about 30 mins for food to come out. Service was very accommodating about us splitting check and otherwise great. Value 3.5/5: overall ok value, great pizza and priced accordingly. Overall 4.2/5: great pizza at an ok price. Ambiance is ok but fairly slow to get good. Would consider take out as a good option

Yelp
My favorite patio; make a reservation to make everyone's life easier. Sharable salads, drink menu still wonderful and staff is always friendly and efficient. Will be back again and again!

Yelp
Amazing pizza and good service! I celebrated a friend's birthday here and we all split 3 pizzas for 6 people (we probably could have done one more). The amatriciana was a crowd favorite, followed by the spring onion pesto and the stracciatella, which was good but a bit soggy. The dining room is small so definitely make a reservation for the weekends. Street parking can be difficult so also plan accordingly.
google avatar

Cherie R.

Yelp
This has got to be one of the top pizza places in STL! I was so impressed! We started off with their red wine special and some limoncello spritzes. We also shared a Caesar salad and fall salad - both delicious and would get again! The Stracciatella Pizza was good but not my favorite, I think the idea and execution of the cold cheese on top of the pizza wasn't my vibe, but my friend absolutely loved it! I really liked the mushroom pizza, it was excellent. The pepperoni pizza was good and the fresh pickled jalapeños added a tangy kick. Service was great as well, especially for how busy they were on a Friday night!
google avatar

Samantha K.

Yelp
LOVE the food here. The pizzas especially feel authentically Italian because there are only a handful of really high-quality ingredients done really well. I love the stracciatella pizza so much because it is perfect in its simplicity. That paired with a glass of white wine and the flourless chocolate tart to go? Perfection. Removed one star for the actual physical restaurant -- it's small and the acoustics are crazy so it just feels super loud in there (God, am I old!?) on a busy night. Easily solved by sitting outside or doing carryout. Highly recommend PdG when you're wanting that better-than-basic pizza and Italian experience.

Yelp
I've heard so many good things about Pizzeria Da Gloria and finally got the chance to try it! It exceeded my expectations and I loved the ambiance of the outdoor patio, but the interior is super cute too. We ordered the pepperoni pizza and the mortadella skewer appetizer on the recommendation of our server and we loved it. Service was very friendly and quick as well. Next time I go, I'll be sure to try something from their drink menu!
google avatar

Kaitie F.

Yelp
So glad I got to check Pizzeria Da Gloria off my "to try" list! Very cute ambiance. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. The menu was super straightforward I loved how many unique topping combinations they offered. We ordered a sausage pizza and the pepperoni (which has jalapeños). Both were delicious and you can taste how fresh the ingredients are. The pickled jalapeños on the pepperoni pie were such a nice touch and brought so much flavor. The pizzas had the right amount of char. I can't wait to return and try more of the offerings at Pizzeria Da Gloria.

Yelp
Overall, this place provides a great spot for wood fire pizza in the middle of the Hill. I would come back, with a reservation next time. WAIT TIME: I joined the waitlist an hour before I came here. The wait time was pretty accurate to the estimate. It's a popular place so I recommend making a reservation days in advance if possible. FOOD: Group of 4, we split two pizzas and a meatball appetizer. The meatballs are excellent with the ricotta cheese base! We added an extra one so we could each have one, since it comes with 3 usually. Definitely recommend. The pizzas we got were the pepperoni and the amatriciana. The pepperoni came with pickled jalapeños. Wouldn't say it was my favorite combo. The amatriciana was phenomenal! The guanciale with the chili paste made an excellent pairing. I also got a limoncello spritz which was tasty and very tart. SERVICE: Our waitress was decent. She did take a little bit to refill our waters, so had to ask for more, but she was nice. AMBIANCE: Cozy spot in the middle of the Hill. Definitely fits the vibe of the neighborhood. We ate indoors with a view into the open kitchen. Next time I will try the outdoor patio since it looks quite pleasant! PRICE: $20 per pizza, $12 drinks, $12 for meatballs. I would say it's average for Italian, maybe a little pricier. But it was worth it.

Yelp
I was looking for the best pizza spot in STL and was recommended Pizzeria Da Gloria on Reddit. I came in on a Sunday afternoon and it was not very busy. I was seated promptly and had a chance to peruse the menu. I liked the Italian movie poster decoration surrounding the restaurant. Looking at their menu, I was intrigued by a few of their appetizer items, but settled on ordering a pizza that was half pepperoni and half margherita. I also ordered their Italian lager Beer for Pizza. The beer was 10/10, it was light, crispy and just a very very subtle hint of sweetness. The pizza was very good, 9/10. It was a little greasy and a bit over sauced but the flavor overall was wonderful. I do wish there was more basil on the pizza. The crust was light and delightfully charred. I even bought some dough to go! I would definitely come back again to try some of their specialty pizza.
google avatar

Parker B.

Yelp
We made a last minute reservation on a Friday night. We sat in the heated tent which was very warm. We started with the meatballs. They had a little spice to them. They come on a bed of ricotta cheese and marinara sauce. We spilt the penne vodka pizza. This is one of the three specials they currently have. Their pizza is Neapolitan style. The crust had the perfect amount of char. Eating noodles on pizza seemed odd but it was delicious. I would have given it a five star had the soda not come in a can.

Yelp
Been wanting to get to pizzeria da gloria for a while now. Fire. I mean fire. I only got take out, but would love to sip a cocktail on their patio. It is beautiful. The pizza was superb. The pepperoni was some of the best I have ever had. Salty, not too crispy. Thick enough to not get too crispy. The crust and cheese were amazing. So much flavor. Thin crust and a nice, salty cheese with Italian spices. All in all, a superb pizza. The meatballs were awesome. They melt in your mouth. Chewy, tender, and packed with flavor. The ricotta is light and airy. The meatball with the marinara, pecorino, and ricotta is the perfect precursor to an elite pizza. The servers were super nice as well. Didn't get a ton of interaction because I had carryout, but they all greeted me with a smile and were super polite. Excited to get back in for a date night!
google avatar

Rebecca R.

Yelp
Yummm! The pizza hasn't even digested yet, but I had to write a review. I was eyeing this place last year and I finally made it in while visiting my family. I ordered the marinara and added mushrooms and onions. Wow. The umami flavor from the mushrooms hit me from the first bite. So good combined with a little sweetness from the sauce. Add a dash of chili flakes and it's perfection. The crust is exactly how I like it. It's floppy and a bit doughy towards the center with a bubbly crust. This feels like eating pizza at my favorite places in Europe. Thank you! I'll be back.
google avatar

Erin U.

Yelp
I was able to grab a seat at the bar on a busy weekday night and now completely understand why it was so busy. The bartender was friendly and made great suggestions. I ended up with a wine flight and the Bonci pizza. Their wine list is has a lot of variety, so the flight was definitely the way to go to try more. The pizza was delicious - flavorful thin sliced roasted eggplant with the perfect amount of spice. I would say the size is a little more than one serving, but if you're going to split one, definitely get an appetizer. I'll be back to try more!
google avatar

Tawnie G.

Yelp
Really good pizza place! We got the vegan pizza, which had a lot of flavor from that chili oil! Very spicy and satisfying. Our server kept our waters filled, which was nice. And love that there's a legit brick oven. The only negative were the bathrooms, which were utterly horrendous. But otherwise, we enjoyed our lunch here!
google avatar

Keith D.

Yelp
This pizzeria is located across from Milo's in the historic Italian "Hill" section of St. Louis. We sat in the very comfortable courtyard and enjoyed the Mushroom pizza and a local Italian Pilsner. The crust was impeccable and the garlicky sauce complemented the ultra thin (which I love ) slices of premium mushrooms. The staff was super friendly and attentive, the bathroom was spotless and the courtyard was lovely.
google avatar

Kyra B.

Yelp
We didn't have a reserve so the wait was long, but it was absolutely worth it! Such a cute spot tucked in the hill with absolutely amazing pizza. We ordered a salad and a pizza for two and it was a great amount of food for us. That being said, the pizza was so good I could have probably eaten two completely on my own! I do wish they had more visibility on their menu for what options are vegetarian. That being said, our server was knowledgeable and able to help determine what was vegetarian and what is not. I will also say we did get a tiramisu and the phone did not eat first - it was absolutely amazing! The lady fingers were not soggy and the flavor profile of it was divine!
google avatar

Amy H.

Yelp
Really enjoyed the outside seating. The garlic potatoes were super garlicky, which was great. Enjoyed the mushroom pizza. Cocktails were nice too.

Yelp
Finally made it to Pizzeria de Gloria on the Hill, known for their wood fire pizza. It was a beautiful night, so we were able to sit on the patio, which was a nice vibe. I had a refreshing salad and we got the mushroom pizza . We subbed tomato sauce for the white wine lemon cream sauce. I did not know how I would like that, and I was NOT feeling adventurous enough to try. Plus, I was hungry! The pizza was really good, but salty. I am assuming from the mushrooms or the pecorino romano. The drinks were sub par, and I am not sure they know how to make an actual French 75. Service was standard. I'd go back because the pizza was good and I love pizza!
google avatar

Jenny G.

Yelp
This was my second time here. The seasonal menu had a lot of blood orange. I got the blood orange spritz which was perfectly tangy and refreshing. I also tried the blood orange salad which had good flavors but was a bit too heavy on the oil and vinegar dressing. The pepperoni pizza was very good. Crisp pepperoni and the crust held up, this was my second time ordering it and I would continue to order it every time . We also got the stracciatella pizza and added prosciutto but I would not order this again. The oil and creamy cheese unfortunately made the crust really soggy.
google avatar

Vineela S.

Yelp
The Hill is one of my favorite foodie neighborhoods and I was excited to try Pizzeria Da Gloria. To me, this one of the best places to bring picky eaters. Who doesn't love delicious pizza? We tried a couple different pizzas - the special penne a la vodka, amatriciana, margharita, and mushroom. My favorites were definitely the penne a la vodka pizza and the amatriciana, as it was packed with complex flavor from the jalapeño paste. Our server was helpful and apologized when the kitchen ran out of an ingredient and suggested an alternative pizza option. Also, would recommend sitting in their outdoor heated patio area, it was very charming!

Yelp
When to the Hill area of Saint Louis on a recommendation from a relative. First issue is no parking for the resturant. You have to find somewhere on the narrow street. Ordered pizza and some meatballs. No pasta at this place and no Espresso which was a disappointment. Also tried ordering an Antipasto plate, but all they had was some cured ham. Not a great visit and was a bit disappointing.
google avatar

Maegan R.

Yelp
One of the best place to get a pizza on The Hill! Pizzeria de Gloria has a warm and cozy atmosphere, great for an intimate dinner with friends. The pizzas are wood-fired, light and packed full of flavor. Highly recommend the Straccialtella and mushroom pizzas along with the crispy bresaola appetizer. The staff is friendly and the service is always amazing I recommend to make a reservation because they are usually busy.

Yelp
We love the Hill, but for some reason, don't go down Marconi too much. This is a small, unassuming place but it's very nice. It's hard to describe, but it just felt comfortable. We were pleasantly greeted when we walked in and were seated promptly. Our server was friendly and very attentive. We started with a Roasted Oyster Mushroom appetizer. It was only 7 bucks, so hey, why not try it. There were 2 oyster mushrooms on top of ricotta and garlic chili oil. It was a very tasty and different appetizer. I love trying unusual things I haven't had before. Of course, we went there for the pizza, though. The crust was delicious. It was chewy, it was crunchy, it was the kind of crust you want to eat even if there isn't anything on it. I'm partial to the sausage mushroom combo, so of course I thoroughly enjoy this pizza. It's not a provel cheese pizza, so don't expect that. Do it!!
google avatar

Jonnathan J.

Yelp
Their patio has a very nice ambiance, with great weather is much better then inside. We had cocktails; I had the Hugo spritz which was not how I'd make it, because it had way too much club soda and no mint (I realize I could have asked for mint so that's on me) which made it taste watered down. Food was good, was able to try caesar salad, creamy Italian, bresaola & olives and sausage. All was tasty and we enjoyed it. My only complaint about the food was there was like 20 minutes between one salad and the other 2 salads ordered by our group. Overall food good and other cocktails were better. A place I'd go back on the right day

Yelp
Oh. My. Gosh. Pizzeria Da Gloria in St. Louis just made my lunch break feel like a weekend vacay. I popped in during the week for their lunch special, and let me tell you, it was EVERYTHING. The Mushroom and Pepperoni Pizza? Absolute perfection. The crust was crispy but soft, like it had been kissed by pizza angels. The mushroom slices were the perfect earthy little bite to balance the zesty pepperoni. I was like, "Is this pizza giving me a hug?!" Spoiler: It totally was. And the Caesar Salad? A simple classic done right. The dressing wasn't too heavy, and those croutons had just the right crunch. Sometimes you just need that fresh vibe with all the pizza love. Service? Super chill and quick - I barely had time to sip my water before I was diving into pizza heaven. If you're ever in St. Louis and need a mid-week pick-me-up, Da Gloria's is the place. This spot's a total vibe, and trust me, you'll want to come hungry. ‍

Yelp
Amazing pizza! Great service. It says I have to have 85 characters. I hate sites that tell you how much you have to write! So I hope this is enough.

Yelp
We made a reservation for a Saturday night dinner and we're so glad we did as they book up quickly and get crowded fast! The strawberry salad was our starter and so good. Got two pizzas to share and a wine flight for each (we were two). Their wine flights are the cutest things ever! Pizzas came and were fresh, warm, delicious and big! Great pizza, great location, fun staff!

Yelp
Great Italian style pizza! Definitely a great place to go if you want authentic Italian pizza cooked fresh in a wood fired oven. We made reservations and were seated quickly. We sat inside but the do have an outdoor courtyard. The ambiance is pizza place but clean and comfortable. Our waitress was great abd gave good suggestions. I ordered a glass of wine but they also had some Sicilian Lemon soda. We got 2 pizzas and some bread for 3 of us and it worked great. We loved the Quattro Formaggi pizza abd the Sausage with Pancetta pizza.

The most memorable pizza i've had in a long time! I still think about a slice from PdG now that I'm based in NY. Such a cute restaurant, it's small but not stuffy and can comfortably accommodate large groups. The pizza dough is thin, airy, yet crispy. Love the pepperoni and meatball pizza, mushroom is also amazing. You can ask for 2 flavors and split in half. The service is always excellent. Favorite spot @ the Hill!

Yelp
Went for dinner on a Friday night with beautiful weather. The restaurant is very family-friendly and has a lot of ambience. Excellent choice of cocktails. Service was great although we did have to wait a little while to get our water refilled. We both had a salad and we're both pleased with those. The meatballs are a must the sausage pizza pizza is an excellent choice. We had the Barada on the side, which is a nice addition to the sausage. Highly recommend this place! The location is also ideal. Right next to door is a gelato place and a cute little Piazza where you can go to enjoy your dessert.

Yelp
Fabulous food! Excellent service. Cute restaurant. It was really busy (Saturday night). One word of caution... the streets were packed with cars!! It was so busy that we were happy to have ordered carry out.

Yelp
Always so good every time I go! The service is great, the food is great. It feels like a pizzeria back home on the east coast. Every single pizza is awesome. Caesar salad is great. Make sure to get dessert!

Yelp
I went here last Saturday night with some friends for a cocktail and pizza before a night out. None of us had ever been there, but we all left happy. To set the scene, we sat on the heated patio. The ambiance was welcoming and fun. It was busy, but not too loud and cold outside but the heaters made it toasty inside the tent. I took a peak inside the restaurant, and I can't wait to go back and sit inside because it was so cute in there. About the Pizza- YUM YUM YUM! My fiancé and I got the pepperoni pizza with pickled jalapeños to split, and it was just the perfect amount of pizza. The pizza was cut into 6 slices so it was easy to share. I'm normally a slight baby when it comes to spicy, but the pickled jalapeños were not too spicy and gave the pizza the perfect extra flavor. About the Drinks- we each got some cocktails. I got a Moscow Mule and it was really yummy. Not too strong in alcohol content or ginger flavor- which is exactly how I like them. About the service- it was a little slow, but I'm factoring in that it was a Saturday night and pretty close to closing time while still having a full restaurant and patio. Overall- I will be back! I can't wait to try some of their other dishes.

Yelp
The picture speaks for itself. Mushroom pizza had a great cream base with so much flavor, crust was chewy and soft. Pepperoni was also great with the added pickled jalapeños which added a nice kick. If you pick 2 pizzas with the same base, they can even make them half and half with toppings! Each pizza was $17 and we each had leftovers to take home. Plenty of seating for lunch today, but I could see it being crowded especially on the weekends. Located in a great area on the Hill, so a lot of walkable dessert options for after. Parking can be challenging, there is street parking only.

Yelp
Just to fill you in .... I grew up going to mom & pop pizza places on the south side of Chicago, thin crispy with sauce all the way to the edges & toppings as well. Been to the hill & many other places & none would compare to Da Gloria's! Excellent crust , great toppings with fresh new ideas on combinations . The place is small & quaint which gives them a step up on having great service . Go early. Enjoy . Yum

Yelp
Absolutely delicious!! All good arrived promptly, hot and the staff are very courteous and knowledgeable! They also have a beautiful patio to sit on! Do yourself a favor and get the grape & rosemary schiacciata. It's amazing!! We also ordered the Stracciatella pizza and audibly moaned at our first bite!
