Pizzeria da Sergio

This is a delicious pizza specialty restaurant on the way from Nara to Kyoto. The chef will make it from the dough and bake it in the oven, so you can eat a very delicious freshly baked pizza. Of course, there is also Italian beer. A very delicious Italian pizza restaurant on the prefectural border❗️

May be a bit late for the review. It was 2020 Feb when I visited this nice pizzeria, and when I left Japan on 14th Feb 2020. The country were shut due to Covid. I walked pass this lovely restaurant when returning from the Nara city after visiting the famous temples, and was about to be back to the laser research institute nearby in which I did my experiment. The restaurant looked like a warm home for travellers so I walked in, sat at the bar and ordered Margherita pizza and a beer . It was amazingly good. Since I am not Japanese, the couples who ran the restaurant were curious why I was there and we had some chat although they did not speak a lot of English. I learned that the owner learned pizza in Italy and that's why the pizza was so authentically good. They gave me a card with hand written "free drink". It was a nice memory. I will definitely go back if I will be in Nara again.

This place is great, it’s a cozy hang out with amazing food! The gentleman that served us did not speak much English but still made a pizza better than almost anything I’ve ever had in America. The pizzas are unique but do not let that scare you, just trust the process. Place is Italian friendly.

Walked in for lunch on a whim today and could not have been happier. Great food, great shop, great service—what else can you ask for. Granted, you need to drive there, but as a result you’ll escape Nara’s tourist crowds. Definitely worth stopping for if you’re in the area. I can’t wait to go back!

こんなところにピザ屋さん！ 駐車場完備がありがたい。 予約してから行きました。 高知県産しらすのピッツァランチセット ¥2.600 人気No.1のビスマルク ¥2,700 （半熟卵・ベーコン・トマトソース・モッツァレラ・ブラックペッパー） ドリンクは、辛口ジンジャーエールとアイスティー。 メニューは少ないですが、こだわりが詰まったピザが頂けます。 ランチセットのサラダはレタスなどの上に生ハムとシンプル。 この生ハムがまた美味しいの♡ シラスのピザは、高知のしらすは鮮度が抜群で、塩気と旨みがとても上品！ピッツァに乗せると、生地の香ばしさと合わさって、磯の香りと甘みがふわっと広がり最高に美味しい。 ビスマルクは、焼きたてのピッツアにナイフを入れると、卵黄がとる～っと流れ出して、生ハムやベーコン、チーズと絡みます。この卵黄のまろやかさが全体を包んで、一口ごとにコクが倍増♡ ほんとに美味しかったです。

ランチセットをいただきました。 サラダもりもりで素材の味を活かしてとても美味しかったです。ピザも本格的で、2枚以上頼めば順番に出てくるシステムのお陰で焼き立てで楽しめます。大満足！！また来ます♡
