Pizzeria Mozza - Review - Marylebone - London - The Infatuation

"This London outpost of Nancy Silverton’s much-loved LA restaurant is all about pizza. Located in The Treehouse Hotel on Langham Place—aptly replacing a Pizza Express—it’s a decent spot to pop in for a pane bianco with extra virgin olive oil and a napolitana pizza if you’re in the area. The interior is warm and cosy, with hanging lights, a wood-fired oven and strong second date potential. And those with a serious sweet tooth will appreciate the dessert offerings, specifically the excellent butterscotch budino." - Rianne Shlebak

Food was good, but many better pizza offerings in London IMO… service very good but visited in peak December on Friday night and the restaurant was half empty with no buzz sadly. Door delivered well, but was hoping for more of an atmosphere!

I've had the good fortune to enjoy Mozza in a few outlets in other parts of the world, but, in my opinion, the London outlet is the best. Everything clicks; the food, the service, the drinks, the atmosphere. Light, airy, stylish decor. Good music, loud enough to hear but quiet enough to talk to your table mates. Service was prompt, informed and fun, and the star is the food. We ordered roast carrots which we thought to try...and blown away. The roast was perfect with the dill and cream...perfect. Chicken Liver on toast...excellent and the finale, Meat Lovers pizza...I've had a lot of pizza in my life and this is one of the best. Beautiful crust, and ingredients without being heavy or overdone. Just a lovely setting. I will be back to try other items on the menu.

Visit on weekday lunch around 12, no queue and is quite quiet. I have Napoletana pizza and it went quite well. The dough’s texture is perfect, the sauce and ingredient are also done well. Would definitely recommend for anyone who wants Italian pizza.

Very good food and freshly made pizza. One of the better pizza we have tried. Must must try the rosemary cake with olive ice cream. Its extraordinary. Also, salted caramel gelato taste wonderful ! Another must try dessert!

This is the best pizza I have tried in London so far! Wow! Everything is so good! I am a fan of the meat lovers one, highly recommend. The dough is fantastic! You must try it. Service is lovely as well.

Had heard good things about this place - finally got there, and it didn't disappoint. Lovely decor in the venue (the grape style light fittings are fantastic), and lighting and music just right. But the main thing - the pizza is great. A little pricey by London standards, but that's to be expected in such a smart restaurant in this location, it's not offensively so. The antipasti we had were great too, especially the meatballs.

Pizza is pretty good and the service was okay (the waiter cleared the table too quick and took our glasses when we were still in conversation) but the worst part is that your clothes will smell of dough and garlic. Even my eyes were itchy after a while. They need to work on better ventilation. A shame, don’t think I’ll be going back.

Absolutely delicious pizza! The crust had wonderful texture and was already really tasty by itself. The same could be said for every single topping, which were carefully chosen and prepared. All the pizzas were incredible, but my favorite was still the fried cauliflower. The batter stayed light and fluffy, while the cauliflower inside was super creamy. It paired perfectly with the aioli, which had a spicy kick to it. Service was really friendly and we would definitely come again!
