"The concept is ‘French cuisine on a journey through Japan’s four seasons.’ Seasonal ingredients are treated with French techniques to create a delicate cuisine. Dishes of vegetables that don’t fit Japan’s strict standards for shape and colour are served on vessels reimagined from discarded glass. The purpose of this sustainable odyssey, considerate of both food and environment, is to point to a future of new perspectives and destinations in which harmony with the environment is celebrated." - Michelin Inspector
Such a value for money restaurant and located in an accessible location except the indication should be more clear. We had lunch and the experience was marvellous with the intricate menu coupled with the presentation, let alone the taste was speechlessly delicious.
Highly recommended for tourists to try

Visited for lunch with a reservation and had the Menu Gourmand which had ten courses spread across two hours. The menu focuses on seasonality with the first dish beautifully representing the autumn season with the maple leaf. Most of the dishes were tasty and nicely plated, really liked how they specify the region where the main ingredients came from. Service was also good, staffs were friendly and hospitable.

I had my final meal of 2024 here, and it was overall a solid experience. The sake pairing—rather than the usual wine—was a pleasant twist, featuring some genuinely rare finds. Trying venison for the first time was memorable; it was surprisingly tender. The warm lighting added a nice touch, making each dish feel a bit like a small art piece. Definitely worth a visit if you’re after something slightly off the beaten path. 🍶🦌

Fantastic culinary experience that hits both of French haute cuisine and Japanese seasonal style- worthy of a big celebration blowout dinner.
A world apart from the more pretentious first floor, Plaiga on the 2nd is both private and clean... the only drawbacks to consider are that it's pricy (but that's what gets you the unique experience) and a little weird housed in the Salesforce building
Otherwise- impeccable service, professional but with personality, and truly exceptional food. These dishes pop in ways you wouldn't have imagined possible

Had a most enjoyable lunch at this elegant restaurant in central Tokyo. Each dish was a culinary work of art incorporating fresh ingredients from all over Japan. Service was impeccable and attentive without being overbearing.
