So delicious... The patty melt with carmalized onions! (It's huge and messy. *Need to request it cut in half. Easier to eat.) The chicken tenders with honey mustard- scrumptious! The curly fries- fresh and terrific! I asked for them a little extra crispy. 10 out of 10 stars! Also their kombucha is actually wonderful as well. Nice staff. Very clean establishment. You will feel good eating here. I will recommend and come again. Thank you Plant Power.

As far as vegetarian fast food goes its pretty decent but it has some faults as well. On the good side, the food was good quality for fast food and the drink options were not just standard soda but rather good juices and what not. The staff was friendly and it was all pretty quick. I appreciated that they had compostable containers but that was lost on the fact that they didnt have a compost option. They only had recycling and trash and considering that anything that has food on it cant be recycled, it is all trash. I would expect the price to be higher considering the quality and it being vegetarian but it was a fair bit more expensive than the alternative. It is on par with the price at most places to get a meal which seems odd for fast food. Even though it had a few things that were off I still see why people go to it.

Quick service and consistent taste! Ours favorites are the chicken sandwiches. Buffalo sandwich was good but a little spicy for kids. Great location and clean inside and out seating.

I got the Iconic burger and Animal style Fries! Everything was delicious! The customer service was on point! They have the best fountain drinks (made with organic sugar cane) and teas! The Hibiscus is my favorite!🌺 🍟🍔🍟🍔

Wished we had this store in South Carolina! Such a great menu selection of all plant based foods. I had the hot chicken sandwich. Service is excellent. Nice indoor seating and a great covered patio outside

First time eating here and I was completely blown away by the amazing food. A super nice lady called Leela Z. took my order. She recommended a couple of things and they were soooo good! Even the drinks are great. 100% recommend this to anyone interested in eating healthy without sacrificing taste.

This place does a great job of creating palatable vegan food. They’re not quite as good as Native in my opinion, but they still do an outstanding job. Their barbecue chicken salad is awesome. The kids, love the vegan corn, dog nuggets, and drinks. I like that few places are using kiosk to order in this place was at the forefront of that it has to be in dirty Ocean Beach with the homeless and wild boys with ankle monitors running around.

This place is outstanding. Parking can be a pain but the food is worth it. Fast friendly service with made to order food. I believe even a meat eater would enjoy the food served here.

So much yes!!! I haven't eaten fast food in quite some time. As someone who eats mostly plant based it can be hard to find options but plant power fast food did not disappoint. Kids meals were great - plant based nuggets etc but I especially loved the breakfast sandwich options with hash browns. It was so easy to drive through and order from the friendly drive through associates and I loved all of the plants and decor outside - very much fit the plant based vibe. Next time I'm in the mood for fast food I will definitely be back. There's a location up North in San Diego as well!!

As a non-vegan, this is honestly one of the best fast food spots I've tried. They have so many options and customizations, so there really is something for everyone. Every ingredient in the burgers tasted so fresh. I still find myself thinking about the Iconic Fries! They are just as good as the Animal Style fries at In-N-Out. A perfect vegan dupe! I also tried the Cookie Butter milkshake, and wow. I have never had a milkshake this flavor before, and now I feel like I've been missing out. It was rich, creamy, and had little cookie chunks. We ordered our food for pick-up so we could catch the sunset at Sunset Cliffs. The order was ready when we arrived, and we had no issues with our order at all!

Please get locations in Colorado!!! This was by far the most delicious and satisfying vegan fast food I've tried so far. It was so filling yet I didn't feel heavy or greasy after eating here. The vegan carne asada was AMAZING. We were only in San Diego for 5 days and we ended up coming here twice because it was soo good. The iconic fries and carne asada fries have so much flavor I could honestly live only eating these for the rest of my life. The snow days remind me of a blizzard and they were thick and creamy. The restaurant was clean and bright! The staff was super helpful with the menu and all our food came out quickly.

Finally got a chance to try this and was not disappointed. The chicken sandwich with hunny mustard one of the best sandwiches this year. It was perfect and did well in the fridge for my airport lunch. The better finger was the perfect sweet treat after a long day of conference. Could have had a tad more candy but the texture was perfect. Would have tried other items but was not here long enough. Next time will try breakfast sandos and burgers.

Plant Power Fast Food has good intentions, but they lack the ability to deliver high quality food that is accessible to everyone. First, staff did not seem to have much joy in working at Plant Power Fast Food and they were very blunt. What caught my attention the most, was the atmosphere. Second, the atmosphere. It's hard to describe exactly how it made me feel, but I felt uncomfortable. The music choices were not the best and the lighting seemed off to me. This is just me though, so I know others would like their atmosphere. Third, the price. I have been to many vegetarian and vegan restaurants before and I know prices can be high. But from my experience, I have come across locations who back up their pricing with high quality food and service; making it worth it to pay more compared to non-vegan and non-vegetarian locations. I have even been to a location who priced their vegetarian burger the same as an actual burger ($12), which included fries and a drink, and it was the best vegetarian burger I have ever had in my life so far. For a Cali Burrito and Holy Guacamole Burger meal, I paid $40. Fourth, the quality. The burger lacked the necessary flavors that you would typically find in a normal burger. Guacamole was overused as if they wanted to cover up the dry and almost flavorless patty. The patty was also very thin, so each bite was just a mouthful of guacamole, bun, and veggies. The jalapeños are unnecessary and did not taste fresh. The burger did not hold either as parts of the patty would just fall out. The cheese was more like goo and was bland also. My partner, who has been a vegetarian their whole life, did not like the Cali Burrito. The meat was dry and bland. The fries were disappointing and weren't crisp. The ranch just tasted like mayo with bits of cilantro thrown in which is sad because they charge .75 Cents per sauce. Their selection of drinks were not bad, but the lemonade was bland as well and did not have that fresh lemon taste. Overall, highly disappointed. They do offer a large variety of meals to choose from, but they may want to cut back a little find what works best. I have been around when it comes to vegan and vegetarian dishes and Plant Power Fast Food has a long way to go before they actually "change the future of fast food". The best locations who get it right were places that did not try as hard; and this location is unfortunately trying too hard and they missed. I'm more than likely won't be back. To my knowledge, no military nor first responder discounts offered.

The food here is absolutely delicious and the service is exceptionally gracious and helpful! We can't wait to come back!

Have been to this place multiple times now. The staff are always super friendly and the food is always delicious.

Delicious and convenient but expensive. Non-vegan admittedly, but I honestly prefer vegan chicken to actual chicken. I love the chewy texture and they do an incredible job here with it. I've stopped by just to get some chicken tenders more than a couple times. But my favorite things to get here are their salads and shakes. They used to offer a strawberry kombucha float made with oat milk soft serve but I don't see it on the menu anymore which is a bummer. I've never gotten any of their "beef" patties or burgers here but those are a hit here too.

First time here. Food was delicious! I am not a vegetarian but this place was on point. It gives you the fried food nostalgia feel for when you need it.

If you're craving a fast food fix that doesn't kill you, animals or the planet... this is the place! And the food is AWESOME! The people are cool and kind. Great music and aesthetic. Get some plant based feel good grub!

I used to frequent this fast-food place when I was vegan a bunch of years ago. Did the trick when I was craving chicken or beef. Service is straight to the point and the wait can be long depending on what time you're there. It's small inside so you can wait outside and they'll call your number. Can't go wrong with burgers by the Beach and sunny skies with Palm trees so high.

cruelty free fast food - sign me up! Plant Power has really leveled up the vegan industry with its amazing flavors and textures that would impress most non-vegans! This is a great transition for people to reduce their animal consumption yet still eat the burgers and wraps they love so much. The Buffalo 66 wrap is hands down my favorite, but I'm a sucker for anything doused in Buffalo sauce. I've also really enjoyed the Southwest Avo Wrap, which is labeled as spicy, but it's more mild to medium. The burgers are always a hit so you can't go wrong there. They offer a wide variety of breakfast, lunch/dinner, and dessert! This will definitely be a multi-visit place as you'll need to take your time to wat through the menu.

Nothin to write home about. Personally I prefer frozen bean burgers to their burger flavors

This is the second time I've had the Big Zac and honestly it really does taste like a Big Mac from McDonald's!! The first time I tried it was during the pandemic and it came out more like a quarter pounder with Big Mac sauce but this time around it was actually visually exactly like a Big Mac with 3 bun slices, the layered meat, the messiness. It was great, I really enjoyed it! I also ordered the fries to share and it was definitely enough food, I was stuffed. If you like soggy fries this is the place for that, but since my preference is for crispy fries I wish they at least had a mix of the two similarly like how McDonald's has it. Overall delicious meal, would be curious to see how the other burgers taste. I'm glad that there are closer locations to me but I wish they all were open later like this one in OB!

You want to know what being baby birded is like? It's like this. And I've tried so many other vegan places (as my wife is vegan) and this place is like being handheld dog food. I don't even write reviews like this. but I needed to tell other people that this place is trash. I guess the ice cream is good, as I've been told, but I wouldn't go past that. None of it is actually good for the environment like they say. They don't even recycle. All in all, AVOID

All I can say is wow, I mean really wow. Tasted other Vegan fast foods, but this was amazing. Tasted the Western "bacon" cheeseburger, unbelievable. I honestly do not think a meat eater would notice it wasn't cow meat. The deserts like the cheesecakes are delish, fries great, the shakes are perfectly done, sweet but not overly sweet. Love the ranch too! I definitely recommend PPFF to any type of eater. Wish it was closer to my home, but worth the drive! Been to both SD & LB locations, equally great.

Plant Power does an incredible job at vegan fast food! Every single thing on the menu is good. This limited edition Nashville hot chicken sandwich is probably my favorite though! The plants inside and outside this location really make the vibes right. Highly recommend going to plant power and taking it on a beach picnic after in OB!

I got their iconic fries and let me tell you, they need to learn a thing or two about consent. Sure they have a fuckin sick packaging. But just because you look so cool does not mean that you can squirt your cheese in my eye, on my hair, and down my neck. That cheese was so hot and so good and tasty and I'm 100% coming back next week.

100% plant based fast food!!! What a great find. Located in Ocean Beach this fast food restaurant is part of a smaller chain that is just fantastic. Organized as an exact opposite of famous fast food places it has it all: breakfast sandwiches or wraps, "burger" sandwiches, "chicken", dairy free ice cream etc. service is good and employees are knowledgeable about the ingredients. I had a breakfast sausage egg and cheese sandwich (plant based of course) and it was awesome. I just wish there was more of these restaurants as I would stop by every morning...

Sooo yummy! Since I stopped eating meat I've definitely missed some fast food every once in a while and this hits the spot! So many options from burgers to chicken nugz to really yummy fries. I'm dying to try a vegan milkshake they look so good! Service was friendly & efficient.

One of my favorite vegan places! I'm a fan of almost everything. The breakfast sandwiches are delicious , perfect for road trips as well as the breakfast burritos. For lunch or dinner I enjoy the 'chicken' Caesar wrap, true western burger and the California burrito. For dessert the snow days are the next best thing to dairy ice cream ! I also enjoy the Oreo or strawberry milkshake. The workers here are always so sweet and more than happy to direct the menu for you if you've never been. It's a cool spot to eat before the beach lots of seating inside and out.

I have been a plant power fan since at least 2016, and while some changes to the menu have hurt, I can still fill my fast food cravings when needed. The soft serve used to be available as a chocolate vanilla swirl, and the breakfast sandwiches used to feature a thick, well-seasoned block of tofu as the egg. I miss that tofu. On that note, though, the sausage egg and cheese muffin is still a go to when I'm not stuck at work, even though it uses just egg these days. They've upgraded the beefy patty to a much better tasting version these past few years (honestly, it might just be beyond beef). They used to offer a black bean patty back in the day, which disappeared, but they brought in the new hippie patty which packs more flavor. I've been to five locations total, including the now defunct SDSU location (sad to hear how that went down), and have been consistently pleased with the meals I've gotten. My latest visit was the day after my birthday. I placed a curbside pickup order to get my free milkshake, drove about 10 minutes, and notified them that I had arrived. Maybe 5 minutes later an employee came out profusely apologizing for the wait. They gave me a free better finger snow day to apologize for hardly being late in preparing my order. I'd never order that flavor myself, but it was a really pleasant dessert that held up well in the freezer. I have taken omnivore friends and family here and nobody is disappointed, even if it's not identical to a meal with meat and dairy. Try it, with an open mind, and I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

This was my 1st time at Plant Power & hands down one of the best places I have eaten at. The service was great the employee was very welcoming & the breakfast burrito was delicious and the food came out quickly! I will definitely be back for sure!

vegans love fast food too and this place is a dream come true! caramel iced coffee was yummy, strawberry sundae was perfect, animal style adjacent fries were incredibly good, had a great caesar salad here as well as a very very filling breakfast burrito. i highly recommend.

Well, it's just like they said, it's fast food vegan food. I have never been to a fast food vegan eatery. You can sit down or take out your food. When ordering you may inside at this electronic kiosk and pay or walk up to the cashier. It was a little odd for me when ordering but I chalk that up to my lack of familiarity. I ordered what I called chicken tenders and fries. It wasn't real chicken, but it tasted like real chicken. The fries a little crisp good. My favorite was the cold tea selections. They were so good. If you eat in you can drink until your tummy burst. I literally had 2 cups of tea trying all 3 flavors. They also had soda and some other previously bottled drinks that I ignored because I was so in love with teas. Definitely recommend this eatery.

The place is located where there's lots of parking so that's great, they have a clean spacious seating area and it's pretty lively with plants which I love! The service was great the lady brought us the food and everything was delicious. It was our first time trying burgers , tenders and chicken so it was a whole experience. To start off the burger had bacon and it was very good but it does taste like plant , I mean what do you expect lmao but it did taste very close to a meat patty , as for the bacon it did taste extremely close to the real thing more then the plant patty. The 'chicken' tasted great. I enjoyed how seasoned it was ! I loved the waffles too. The chicken tenders tasted a little weird to me but they weren't bad, I'm just adjusting my taste buds to vegan food. We also got a drink , I believe hibiscus which tasted really refreshing. Overall it's a 9/10 mostly cater of the tenders not meeting my own standards.

It was one of the only vegan sit-down places that was open later in the evening. That was welcomed after a long flight. There's so many options, so I usually try something new with an order of buffalo 'wings,' my favorite. The food was great, but the carne asada fries were delightful. The locale was clean & the restroom was clean as well, considering it was the end of the day. The employees were nice. Great experience, just like any other Plant Power.

I love this plant based place it's like the McDonald's for vegans! Took my nieces who aren't vegan and they loved it!

I don't typically eat fast food but when i do, i come here. Their menu is so plentiful and the flavors are so good they used to have a drive up situation where you can park and get your food but they took that way. Ordering is easy because you can use their app, use their app in store or go up to the register. They have plenty of seating inside and plenty parking outside. The staff is mainly young kids (high school, college) but appears they have been trained right as they are always polite and get the orders right too.

Food is surprisingly delicious for it not actually being meat. There is even nutrition facts to put me at ease knowing I can eat healthy here . The flurry's and drinks are delicious as well. The ambience is clean and cool, I like this place very much and I'm not vegetarian. I would go more if I could. My experience has been good as well, the person taking my order gave me her personal special on mixing her favorite flavor of soda with a shake, it was surprisingly tasty:)

Has been my guilty pleasure stop for a long time, the breakfast chickn and waffles are so good and the Nashville hot chickn sandwich has inspired a dinner we cook at home now because of how tasty it is.

Me and my mom went here today. I ordered the chicken sandwich with chipotle sauce and fries with lemonade (not pictured) and my mom had the "sausage egg and cheese" croissant (also not pictured). Both were delectable and filling. As for the service and ambiance, I found myself at peace with how it wasn't extremely packed and the service was friendly. I'd definitely come here again.

This place is amazing! The onion rings, french fries, burgers, chicken tenders, breakfast burrito, and the betterfinger ice cream... all DELICIOUS!!

I was really impressed by the Iconic Burger I got here. I had to keep reminding myself as I was eating that this was vegan! The Patty was well cooked and the burger had a nice mix of flavors (from a mix of the grilled onions, fresh lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, sauce and cheese). The cheese was really impressive - not only did it taste like real cheese, the texture was very convincing too. I would definitely come back, but would skip the fries next time - they were soggy and didn't taste great. Great to see vegan spots popping up and having decent options.

Absolutely delish. I have never had a buffalo chicken sandwich taste so much like real chicken before. It was hot and spicy. The homemade ketchup was fantastic. They have several flavored lemonades. I wish I saved room for the ice cream

Got the Big Zac, buffalo wings (with ranch), and chicken tenders (with secret sauce) to split with my partner. The big zac was good. It was a solid double patty burger but made me wish they had more unique burger options like Next Level Burger (my fave). Maybe I'll try the chicken sandwich next time. The buffalo wings were swimming in buffalo sauce and it was just too much. Won't get again but the ranch sauce (though a little thick) was delicious! The chicken tenders were crunchy and tasty with the secret sauce. I also downloaded the app so I could get a free shake! Got the coffee one and it was superb! Loved it.

Im not vegan but I came here with significant other and I was so impressed by the food. Super flavorful and tasty. The service is always amazing also. Great staff super helpful

Stayed at an airbnb across the street and decided to grab a late dinner here. What I ate: - Rambler burger: basically their version of a western bacon cheeseburger and it was okay. The "beef" patty was not my favorite - Iconic fries: I had to try their animal style fries! This was my favorite, even with the vegan cheese. A pretty good dupe for the real thing - Soft serve with strawberry: wow, I could not that this wasn't actual soft serve with dairy. Smooth, creamy, delicious. The strawberry was perfect Pros: - You'll be so happy if you're a vegan. Their menu had a dupe for most of the popular fast food item you could find elsewhere. - Really loved the concept and message of offering great vegan food in this fast food format - I loved that they had options of different kinds of burger patties - "beef," "chicken," "fish," and a bean patty too - Easy online ordering - Interior was clean - Parking lot attached Cons: - Not cheap, buttttt I wouldn't expect vegan food to be super cheap - Not a huge fan of the "beef" patty dupe Would I come again? Since I'm not a local, probably not

Really tasty, but not as healthy as I was hoping it would be. So if you want all the pleasure of fast food, and just want to avoid meat, this is definitely the place to go!

I thought the bacon was interesting but I'm not sure I'd order it again. Iconic fries (5/5): I like these more than in n outs animal fries! I honestly hate innouts fries, they taste like cardboard. These are 100x better Chicken tenders (5/5): I personally thought these tasted pretty similar to McDonald chicken nuggets, but my bf disagreed. These r definitely softer, but they were delicious. If I came back I'd want to try a chicken burger Cookie butter milkshake (5/5): soooooooo rich and creamy omg their milkshakes are a must. I've been here about a dozen times and it's always been a great experience. I'm not even vegan. I come here because the food is always fresh and stable, no surprises. Their have cane sugar sodas which I really value. So far I've tried one of everything and while I'm not a fan of imitation meat, I really can't tell the difference here. A chicken sandwich tastes like a chicken sandwich. Fast friendly service, no mistakes or issues. Honestly that's the thing that sets them apart from everyone else.

Yessss Plant Power for the win ! I've been here so many times, I can't even keep count. I've tried almost everything now. Skip the breakfast sandwiches. They're overpriced and not that good to me. The ones that contain a foldable egg is the Just Egg foldable. I think they also make their own egg but I haven't tried that yet. BUT do try their shakes (especially chocolate); and any of their burgers ! Big Zac is like a Big Mac and so good if you've been craving McDonald's but you're vegan this is the one !! And grab a kids meal if you're not super hungry and want a small meal. The burger is a good size with the kids meal & you can upgrade to the shake for $3. If you sign up for their rewards you can get a free shake too ! (At least I was able to) I'll be back for more before heading back to NY !!

This visit was a horrible visit. Not sure who is working here but they need to make fresh food again and not mess up. Got a cheeseburger with no ketchup and added bacon and received a super dry bun, cold meat and dry old bacon that was cold and crispy. They forgot our kids meal with chicken nuggets, I had to go back inside to wait for them to make it, I got no apologies for the problems. They replaced the old burger with bacon but when I got back to the car, they replacement had no bacon and they had a ton of ketchup. Who's managing this establishment? I spent over 60$ on food and only got a few of my actual items correct. Waited for them to fix it, I was handed the food and again no apologies..

Breanna S is a doll. She was patient as she helped me choose what to eat since it was my first time. Needless to say the burger was delicious although I kept staring at the bacon. The fries were fresh and hot. The chocolate chip cookie made me wish I had some plant base milk to go with it. I chose the lemonade as a drink which was delicious. Seating was it's provided on the inside and patio as well.
