"In 2019, Plantasia brought a pan-Asian lens to Mexico City’s vegan scene. The menu merges flavors, textures, and culinary techniques from Japan, Indonesia, and Thailand. Options include veggie and tofu gyoza; tacos channeling Beijing duck prepared with shiitake and crimini mushrooms, tempeh, and hoisin sauce; and ramen made with coconut-miso broth and topped with avocado tempura, bok choy, shiitake, and tofu. The minimalist space soothes with a combination of concrete and greenery." - Natalia de la Rosa

Pretty good vegan and vegetarian food for the price. The seating is in a very pretty outdoor courtyard behind the entrance. It's a great spot for a date when the weather is nice. The food itself is good enough. The gyoza are very small so skip those but they taste nice. The pad Thai was solid and I'd get it again. Would return to explore other options, but it's not a place I'm itching to get back to.

This place is heaven for Vegans who are craving good Asian food :-) Beautiful decor and ambiance, lots of plants, greens around. Ample of seating options. Wasn't busy on a Monday afternoon. We ordered a variety of dishes, veggie dumplings, crunchy roll, pad thai noodles, mushroom tacos, agua de coco, Thai milk tea with leche de coco. The drinks were refreshing 👌9/10 The food was delicious and very well presented. My fav was the crunch roll and pad thai noodles, very flavourful, and good portions to share for 4 people. We were stuffed but definitely wanted to try the amazing postres they had to offer. We chose one with pistachio chocolate mousse. It was a piece of art served on a plate. Very decadent, amazing flavors, and definitely recommend it. Will definitely come back to try other dishes from the menu. Keep it up👍🇲🇽

Plantasia has been our go-to place for every celebration, from anniversaries to birthdays, and even to celebrate a beautiful day just because. Seriously, Plantasia, take my money. This place is one of our favorite restaurants in the world. We’ve never gotten sick here or at their other restaurant, Forever Vegano. Both are amazing. We use Forever Vegano for casual dinners, lunch, breakfast, or just for a good snack, but Plantasia is on another level. We stopped taking photos because we decided to enjoy the food instead, so I’m sorry for missing some of the other dishes they have. But trust me, this place will make you fall in love with their food and service. Andoni is our favorite waiter; he is 10/10, always takes care of us, and is super attentive. I can’t believe I haven’t written a review about this place. Sorry, fellas, for not keeping you updated. Here it is. Another amazing thing about this place is the atmosphere, the decor, and, obviously, the food. If you visit CDMX, don’t forget to visit Plantasia. It is a must-go.

Oh man. I wanted to love this restaurant. I like the occasional modern vegan eatery with health focused foods. I’ve traveled a lot including all around asia and to vegan-centric restaurants in many different countries. This was just not very good and a bummer. The restaurant itself is beautiful. It feels very bali/thailand-esque. They have fans going to keep it cool so it was quite comfortable. Beautiful furniture and greenery on a lovely street. The staff were great. Incredibly kind, attentive, and spoke perfect english without hesitation when we stumbled over our spanish. The food was the let down. Our momo’s came out cold. The sauce with it was warmer than the momo’s themselves. I got the pad thai. I mostly liked this but the tofu was incredibly sour tasting and the vegetables tasted and looked like they had been frozen. They could not have been fresh. My partner got the green curry and was unimpressed. Again, turned off by the tofu. 5 stars for the atmosphere and service. 3 for the food and its quality.

Wow, this place made me consider giving up animal products briefly. Such a delicious restaurant. Everything I tried was amazing and full of flavor. Service was amazing. A highlight of my CDMX experience!

Plantasia is a great option for vegetarians and the food is tasty but lacks creativity. The flavors were not very traditional but were decent. The atmosphere is enjoyable and the staff is friendly.

My first vegan dinner in CDM and it was perfect. I was very curious about the kava kava drink and loved it. Salomon, the waiter, was very attentive.

Yelp
Vegan spot in Mexico City. Good food, fun / trendy vibes that elevates the dining experience. Fun, different drinks that can definitely spice up your night. We came here for dinner after an extremely hot day walking around CDMX. We wanted something light, refreshing, and veggie forward. Plantasia hit the mark on everything. The dehydrated watermelon sushi was particularly memorable and delicious. Everything else was solid but I can't remember specifics. Drinks are top notch. We had a fun night and would recommend.

Yelp
This place was one of the few vegan places we truly enjoyed in Mexico City! Super aesthetic, cool atmosphere, great service The food was very well made, loved to see the variety and presentation Definitely recommended!

Yelp
Vegetarian Japanese style with great food and great service! We came here for early dinner. Everything from the exterior, all the way through the long narrow corridor to the dining area, is so cute and nicely decorated. We felt as if we had traveled into a Japanese garden in a town in Asia. The place where they sat us was unique! The food was light and a great change from the typical Mexican cuisine. Great way to give our tourist tummy a break from the Mexican dishes we had been having.

Yelp
Food was honestly delicious but the tacos Peking had hard bits of something that hurt my teeth it was like biting a pebble spoiled the experience. Waitress said is was really hard carrot. I am very skeptical. La comida era honestamente deliciosa, pero los tacos de Pekín tenían trozos duros de algo que me dolío los dientes, era como morder una piedra estropeó la experiencia. La camarera dijo que era una zanahoria muy dura. Soy muy escéptico

Yelp
4.5 stars. I love how GORGEOUS the restaurants are in CDMX. Anything with open space and greenery is right up my alley. My partner took me here (one of his favorite places) and we enjoyed a bunch of food and drink items off the menu. Everything is plant-based, which played well with his diet. Even though I wanted a cocktail, they don't serve those here. In addition to the tasty and colorful probiotic drinks we got, we also ordered the following dishes: * Chile Roll - Don't remember the last time I had vegan sushi, but this was filling and flavorful! Generous portions of ingredients. * Edamame - What you see is what you get! Tasty but not memorable. * Pad See Ew - Wasn't sure how this would turn out as a vegan meal, but it was really good! The slightly different texture didn't bother me. * Berry Sticky Rice - Sad they ran out of mango for my FAVORITE Thai dessert of all time, but this was still alright. Smaller than expected. * Nutella Wontons - They were delicious! Served hot and paired well with the matcha green tea ice cream. The food and drinks were extremely photogenic. I don't think I could say this about most restaurants, but the photos on their website matched the ones I took in terms of how accurate everything looked. Such a charming restaurant. Friendly and professional customer service. Would go out of my way to come back and try more things on the menu.

Yelp
Lovely foodie oasis. Best vegan brunch I've ever had. The benedictinos had homemade muffins, red lentil patties, spinach with sunflower seed crema, and topped with fresh avocado and smoked mushroom bacon. Great ambiance and impeccable service.

Yelp
Plantasia in Mexico City is a tropical paradise! Their Thai food is authentic and flavorful. The jungle-like seating area is cozy and inviting, with super comfy seats. The CBD and Kratom bar is a unique touch, offering a variety of interesting and tasty options. It's a great spot for a relaxing, non-alcoholic evening with delicious food.

Yelp
Very cute restaurant with a great ambience-but food leaves much to be desired. I had the paneer curry and it was okay but nothing to write home about, and my friend felt the same about her spring rolls. I was expecting a fusion of different types of cuisines but the menu just had a mishmash of classic Asian dishes from different countries. Meh. The dessert though was a bit more creative. We had the taro donuts and they were delicious! Overall the decor is lovely so would be good place to meet friends for just dessert.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and decorations ! food could use a little spice! We got the crispy wontons and rice - for dinner the pad thai and the tempura broccoli. Our drinks - the magia negra and the clitoria were the best for me. Friendly and accommodating service!

Yelp
I hate to have to do this, but be prepared to be amazingly underwhelmed by this place! The decor is gorgeous, the staff is friendly, and the food is bland! There was zero taste in anything that we ate across a number of dishes. No flavor could be found, though the presentation of the food was beautiful. I'm giving this place two stars, one for the decor and the other for the staff. I won't be back though! I hope they can improve!

Yelp
Excelente comida, me gustaron mucho los sabores. El servicio pareciera que te hacen un favor por atenderte

Yelp
The place is beautifully decorated (very Bali like vibes). Starters are good- we had the wontons, gyozas and the miso salad. Enjoyed all three but portions are smaller. We didn't enjoy the entrees as much. server was helpful and brought us the menu in English. Good place but may not come back

Yelp
yall this spot is amazing. the place is beautiful, with rainforest vibes and lots of plants and greenery (common in cdmx). we ordered the udon with truffle sauce (PERFECTION) and the dragon roll (who knew watermelon could substitute tuna?!). staff was very knowledgeable in gluten and i had no trouble eating here. though the sushi rolls cannot be made gluten free, i highly recommend the udon noodles for my celiacs :)

Yelp
Disappointing! Stylish ambiance, but the food and service leave something to be desired. I ordered a pad thai and specified "sin cebolla" due to a horrible onion aversion. As onions don't generally show up in pad thai, I didn't make a fuss other than the "sin cebolla" request, which the server seemed to note. The dish came out full of the sneaky, odious buggers! To make matters worse, they were sauteed and bore a significant resemblance to the noodles, and so some of them snuck past my vigilant sorting process. Even beyond the onion disaster, I didn't find the sauce particularly pad thai-like, being more citrus than peanut in flavor. Oddly, the watered-down coconut water came with a slice of lemon floating in it, which isn't a combination that I felt worked in its favor. The service was okay, my server was friendly but didn't check in with me at all. The table next to mine had a dessert that looked delicious (some sort of dense chocolate flourless cake with ice cream?) but as the server wasn't nearby, I decided to cut my losses and go home to brush my teeth repeatedly to try and get rid of the onion taste. Yuck. Three stars because 1) vegan, woot! and 2) pleasant atmosphere - but overall, not a place I'm eager to visit again anytime soon.

Yelp

Yelp
This is such a gem in Roma Norte. It's a health food store and cafe in one. Vegan at its best. Beautiful indoor/outdoor space with green plantlife everywhere to relax patrons. The menu is so delicious, even non vegans will enjoy. (I'm not vegan!) We had 1 appetizer, a papaya salad, and pad Thai, plus sticky rice desert and 2 matcha latte drinks (with coco/macadamia nut milk!) yum! I would be eating here many times a week if I lived in Mexico City!

Yelp
Really great food. Small portions, so not the place if you're "hangry". Nice place for a group of friends. Friendly staff and nice ambience.

Yelp
Amazing find here, great flavor and top notch ingredients. Great atmosphere and vibe in here. wow they just delivered the dishes and they are amazing. sorry gotta go eat this wonderful grub here

Yelp
This is the best place I've tried so far in Mexico City! I'm a big foodie and I can guarantee you that you won't try another vegan place like this one! Erick was my server and he was an amazing server! I want to congratulate this spot for their Amazon LG food and vibe!!!!'

Yelp
I decided to come in to this restaurant for some dinner with some family and friends we had the noodles and they had sushi and though we ended up getting food poisoning it was horrible I would not ever come back to this place if I could give it a zero stars I would but that's not an option

Yelp
The Plantasia Cafe was a wonderful place to enjoy a drink and have a nice sit-down meal. It was easy to find and welcoming by both the staff and indoor-outdoor concept. The combination of plants hanging all about and the soft music playing in the background was relaxing and just what we needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of Mexico City for an hour or so. The waiter we had was named Amir and was very friendly. He helped us navigate through the Vegan Menu and spoke English perfectly. Amir was very professional and was on top of not only our table but with several other guests throughout the restaurant. The food was outstanding. We had the Dinamita Roll and Spicy Ahi Rice Cakes (Vegan but you would never know) amongst other dishes. On top of the great service and delicious food, Plantasia Cafe was very inexpensive for the quality of food. All in all, Great Service, Great Food, Great Prices, and a wonderful atmosphere that you'll want to stay and hang out with your friends after the meal is done.

Yelp
Food was ok, not bad not good. The Ramen didn't have taste at all and the prices are high for what you eat. I would return if the prices weren't that high. The drinks were average. The place is cool. I think you should try Los Loosers instead.
