The Best Things to Eat at Disneyland

"There are so many things to love about Plaza Inn’s fried chicken, not the least of which is that the quick-service restaurant usually has plentiful seating, making it a good place to sit, take a break, and take in a view of Sleeping Beauty Castle. The fried chicken plate has been a mainstay at Disneyland since day 1, and it’s a reliably good and hearty meal, with three pieces of fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, and a biscuit. It’s a pretty big, shareable portion but the chicken can also be ordered a la carte." - Julie Tremaine

How Amusement Parks Use Fried Chicken to Sell the American Dream | Eater

"Set in a pink, three-tiered Victorian mansion just off Main Street U.S.A., this iconic park restaurant is best known for its much-loved fried chicken dinner — a longtime favorite of the park’s founder — typically served as three pressure-fried pieces with mashed potatoes, vegetables and a fluffy buttermilk biscuit. It's positioned as a generational, must-eat attraction for visitors, commanding nostalgic loyalty and a premium price (noted at $18.99) as part of the classic amusement-park experience." - Amy McCarthy

Google
Where do I start?!?! By far the best fried chicken ever!!!! It’s a full on dinner and you can’t go wrong with it. I like to go and eat during the hour the fireworks will be held. It’s a dinner and a show, is how I see it. They also have a pit roast which is really good, green beans, and oh my the mashed potatoes!!! You can’t go wrong on whatever you decide to eat here. This is my favorite restaurant at Disneyland. We really enjoy this place and the cast members are always friendly and very nice. Whatever you decide to get, believe me you will not be disappointed. Want a good dinner worth your penny??? Then this is it my friends. DELICIOUSNESS!!!

There’s a really long line out of this place for their fabled fried chicken, but honestly I thought it was just ok. Good for theme park standards I suppose. It’s cafeteria style so you line up at the window for the dish you want and receive it from the worker. The workers are nice. Ambiance is… meh, ok. A little dated, perhaps, but maybe that’s what they were going for. I would probably eat here again if the line wasn’t too long.

1. The portions on the chicken plate are generous! 2. The spot has fun casual vibes as it is located on Main Street! 3. The staff was friendly and tjmely with my order! Note: There is a separate area in the cafeteria that only serves chicken! Photo: Chicken Plate

The staff is very helpful. Helping us refill drinks, carry trays and visit with the customer’s. The food is always really good. The mashed potatoes were a little cold but still really tasty. The salmon was sooooo yummy. The best part was this chocolate tart crust with a creamy mint filling.

Yesterday we had dinner at Disneyland’s Plaza Inn, located at the end of Main Street on the right side just before the pathway into Tomorrowland. We ordered the Chicken Dinner with three pieces of chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans and a biscuit ($19.99) and the Salmon Diner with green bean/corn/tomato mixture and mashed potatoes ($18.99) and we shared a slice of Rainbow Cake ($7.79). This was some really tasty Fried Chicken, well worth visiting to enjoy. The Salmon was also really tasty with a cream sauce on top. The Rainbow Cake was really moist with a nice light vanilla flavor. This is not a buffet, and it’s a restaurant where you order your food at the counter, you receive your food then pay at the register before seating yourself either indoor or outdoor. Inside seating is more comfortable. I would say that we would order the same meal again for sure but would also be interested in trying other menu items.

Google
The Plaza Inn at Disneyland is a fantastic dining experience! The atmosphere is cozy and charming, with a classic Disneyland vibe. The fried chicken dish is absolutely 5 stars – crispy, juicy, and full of flavor, a must-try! The Cobb salad was decent, but I’d rate it a 3 out of 5; it was fresh but lacked a little in flavor. The chicken pasta dish was solid, coming in at a 4 out of 5 – creamy and satisfying, though not as impressive as the fried chicken. The service was friendly and efficient, and it’s a great spot for a family meal during a busy day in the park. Highly recommend the fried chicken!

Google
Definitely one of the better places to eat dinner in Disneyland. The fried chicken was crispy and flavorful, but a little dry. The mashed potatoes were pretty good, just not super flavorful. And the green beans were decently good. The food is super quick to get and there is lots of seating (which after a long day on your feet is a must). Overall, not too bad!

Google
Dined here twice, once for an event dining package and once for the character dining Minnie & Friends Breakfast buffet. Delicious both times. The characters I saw were Minnie, Daisy, Pooh, Tigger, Pluto, Chip, Dale, and one or two of Cinderella's mice, specifically Suzy. It is one of 4 restaurants that I know of that has character dining, and this one is the only one inside the park, so you need park tickets and park reservations to get in. Of course, it was pricey, but when on vacation, and for the sake of the smiles on the kids' faces, it felt worth it. It also accomplished one of my kids' goals: to get the majority of the classic character's autographs. Instead of us spending all day chasing characters and waiting in long lines, the characters came to us, while we ate. And they do make many rounds to ensure to greet every guest.

Yelp
This has been my favorite restaurant at Disneyland for over a decade. Every time I go to Disneyland, I have to stop here for their fried chicken. When I used to have the annual pass and would come to Disneyland multiple times a week, you bet I came here for their fried chicken multiple times a week too. Depending on the time you come, there can be a bit of a wait to get in - but trust me - it's worth it! They do have other foods like salads, desserts and some other things. But I can only speak for their fried chicken since that's all I've ever had there. It comes with string beans, mashed potatoes and gravy and a biscuit. Everything about this meal is amazing - and yes, as unhealthy as it is - I strongly urge you to try it! So if you're looking for a good restaurant at Disneyland, Plaza Inn is it! You won't regret it!

Yelp
A must for me every visit! Never had the pot roast until my last visit there back in October with friends. So this visit it was my husband and I. We got a pot roast dinner and chicken dinner. Both portions are shareable. The fried chicken, mashed potato, green and gravy very delicious. Pot roast very tender and delicious as well. If you're looking for a hearty and decent priced meal I strongly suggest coming here. We also had the gingerbread cake, that was a little sweet for me, it was moist and my husband enjoyed it. We got there just before opening. Opening was at 12 pm. Once it opened the line went by quickly. There was lots of seating indoor and outdoor. I like seating outdoor to enjoy the outdoor ambiance of seeing Mainstreet and the castle. When on Mainstreet this is a must try if you haven't yet!

Yelp
Visited Plaza Inn at Disneyland on Friday and was seated relatively quickly even without a reservation, which was a plus. The setup is more cafeteria-style, with several different food options to choose from. I ordered the braised beef with mashed potatoes and green beans. For an amusement park meal, it was tasty and satisfying, though the portion felt a bit small for the price. We also tried desserts, including the apple Bundt cake and the gingerbread cake. Both had good flavor, but they were extremely cold -- almost frozen -- which made them hard to enjoy. Considering the price, that was disappointing. The ambience is welcoming and charming, almost cathedral-like, with soft pink tones and chandeliers that make the space feel special. The servers were attentive and constantly cleaning and preparing the area for incoming guests. Overall, I'm glad I tried it. While it was a nice experience, it's not something I feel the need to revisit.

Yelp
The restaurant is located between Main Street and fantasyland. The plaza inn is large - seating inside and out. The service is friendly and quick. The food is fresh and tasty, with prices bringing high you would think the chicken pieces would be larger, however they got smaller. Luckily the taste is the same and it is crunchy and moist.
google avatar

Yelp
All you can eat character breakfast at Disneyland. Not as many options as Goofy Kitchen but the food is better. (I just wish they had peanut butter and jelly pizza). Food includes Minnie waffles, eggs, potatoes, omelettes, bacon, sausage, cereal, fruit, yogurt and they have hot chocolate. We took hot chocolate to go. There is also croissants and other pastries. Characters we saw were Minnie, Tigger, Winnie the Pooh, Daisy, Chip and Dale.

Yelp
We came here after a long day at Disney and didn't need a reservation for our party of 20+ people. We simply found a few tables next to each other indoors and got our food, which was nice. We got the chicken plate, which came with biscuit, green beans, and some mashed potatoes. The veggies were a little more on the bland side while the biscuit was soggy. The penne pasta with chicken pesto Alfredo sauce was solid and had good flavors. We also tried the chicken salad, which was fine but it was nothing special (could have used more dressing). Overall, our food was very good and the place is very flexible for bigger parties. But not everything is equally good.

Yelp
My visits here are far, few and in between... But, this year, im on a roll to get at least 3 visits... The fried chicken has gotten a lot better... The dining package that comes with a half rotisserie chicken is REALLY GOOD! The Service is fast and efficient. They always seem to keep the [place looking spotless and clean... I chose to eat out side under the umbrellas and people-watch...

Yelp
This is the best place to eat inside Disneyland! The meals are home cooked and portions are generous. For about $20 you can get a hot and delicious traditional pot roast, veggies, potatoes, and dinner roll. The fried chicken is the craze, but I prefer the salmon or pot roast. Patio seats are nice if the wrath is good. Lines can get long so go when you're not starving.

Yelp
1. The chicken plate was huge! It was very delicious and filling! 2. The spot has fun casual vibes! The interior is spacious! 3. There are indoor and outdoor seating areas! There are a lot of tables! 4. The staff was friendly and timely with my order! Mobile ordering is not available! 5. This spot does not have their own restrooms! There is a restroom area nearby! Note: The staff will clear your table for us! Photo: Chicken Plate

Yelp
One of my favorite meal in Disneyland is at Plaza Inn! For lunch time, they do not take reservations unless it is for a special package. They also do not accept mobile order so plan accordingly to your schedule. For breakfast, you can make reservations for characters meet and greets. This is a cafeteria style restaurant. Grab a tray, go to any station to select the items you want. Grab your own drink at the drink station and condiments at the condiment stations. Whatever you grab, you will pay at the pay stations. After paying, you find your own table. There indoor and outdoor seating. I got the fried chicken meal. It comes with 3 pieces of chicken, mash potatoes, string beans and a biscuit. It is a huge meal. Chicken was good but kinda dry. Biscuit was really dense and on the harder side. Mash potatoes and strings beans were good. I was lucky as they were not busy/packed on the day I was there. Line was short and no issues with finding a seat. Service was quick. After eating, the staff will clean/clear the table so you do not need to worry about that :)

Yelp
Have not been in Disneyland for many years, used to come yearly and for multiple days when kids were little. My kids although adults and married will always be "kids" in my eye. We loved the fried chicken meal from here then and it was still as I remembered. Crispy outside with juicy inside and big servings with delicious mash potatoes and gravy. Biscuit was great and even the green beans were buttery and not mushy but firm. The decor and service are excellent and great spot to watch the busy intersection of all the different lands in the heart of Disney.

Yelp
A must-visit when you go to Disneyland. This is where I go whenever it's my first night in the park. It feels homey and old-timey. It's a classic. Get the fried chicken. It's a large portion and this isn't your neighborhood KFC or Popeyes! Disney does fried chicken well. They also have nice seasonal cakes and daily salads.
google avatar

Emily A.

Yelp
Unfortunately I'm gluten free... but they have a dedicated server and cook to make an all you can eat breakfast!! This is absolutely amazing. Is it the best food? No lol But totally worth it. And I even got Mickey shaped waffles!! I think the care they give to gluten free people is amazing. And you can't go wrong surrounded by Disney characters. They were interactive and sweet, amazing people behind those heads! Haha. Memories last a lifetime at the happiest place on Earth :)
google avatar

Yelp
One of my favorite comfort foods at Disneyland. The food is always fresh! You can see exactly what you're getting before you order since you have to go to the counter and order it. Service is pretty efficient since the plates are set but you can sometimes ask for modifications if they are t too busy. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Tables are bussed frequently and if you find a dirty one that you want to sit at, just alert the staff and they'll clean it right up. Yay for real food at the parks.
google avatar

Kimberly B.

Yelp
I remember coming here every-time we came to Disneyland so every-time I eat here I feel so nostalgic! Brings me back so much fun memories and it hasn't changed! This is the one place you feel you're not being ripped off and quality is consistent too! The employees are super chill here too they don't bother you. Just get your food, pay, and find your seats. I'm sure on a busy busy day it's not easy to do!

Yelp
So good we forgot to take a picture. We got the penne alfredo and the fried chicken. Its nice to have people to share with when you want more than one dish. Everything is always good here. We eat here once or twice every trip to Disneyland.
google avatar

Yelp
Pretty good theme park food. Filling portions of chicken and pasta dishes. Lots of seating area indoors and outdoors. Minus 1 star because of the disorganized line queues for each chicken and pasta walk-up order sections.

Yelp
I finally got to try the Plaza Inn. When I arrived, I waited in line as they transitioned from breakfast to lunch. Before opening, they gave a slight history about the Plaza Inn and a celebration for those celebrating their birthday. People celebrating birthday got to go up, the line sang happy birthday, and they rang a bell. Just a little more magic for those celebrating their birthday. I came to try their fried chicken and the 70th slice of cake. The fried chicken meal came with 3 pieces (drumstick, thigh, and a breast) with mashed potatoes and gravy, and green beans. After paying, I asked for boxes and bagged it up to take back to the hotel. Even after the walk and settling in before eating, the chicken had some crisp. It was lightly seasoned and the breast was a little dry. The mashed potatoes and gravy were very good as was the green beans. The 70th celebration cake was not my favorite. The jam part of it was quite hard almost like a firm jello and made eating the cake difficult.

Yelp
Looking for dining packages to Paint the Night Parade at Disneyland, Plaza Inn was the only place offering the package. We ended up booking a lunch, dining package, for the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration parade at 2:40 P.M on a Saturday afternoon. The Plaza Inn is located in Main Street, U.S.A at Disneyland Park. It's right at the entrance to Tomorrowland. We ended up going a little early, around 2:10, and the team member let us in for the dining package! We were provided a Paint the Night Badge and tickets to the reserved seating, which was right next to the train station and Disneyland entrances. The dining package included the following Adult Dining Package Menu Mushroom gravy-glazed meatloaf Baby wedge salad Pea purée over creamy mashed potatoes Herbed crispy carrots Paint the Night-themed dessert Fountain drink Child Dining Package Menu Crispy chicken tenders Macaroni & Cheese Apple sauce and baby carrots Dinner roll Paint the Night-themed dessert Fountain drink The Lunch per adult was $55.00 and $28 per child. Magic Key discount is accepted at the Plaza Inn. It was super busy when we went to the Plaza Inn, but luckily, we did find a table to sit at inside the restaurant. Once we checked in for the reservation, we went to pick up our meal which was already pre-made. The best part of the dining package was the Pea purée over creamy mashed potatoes and the herbed crispy carrots. The meatloaf was so dry and flavorless. It was also cold. I didn't eat much of it. My daughter enjoyed the chicken tenders and macaroni and cheese though! Some of the other dishes from the menu looked really good though! The fried chicken and the pasta looked scrumptious! It was nice to take a break from the theme park rides and sit down inside a restaurant though! I'm glad I had a chance to try out the Plaza Inn during lunch time! We had a great time at the Paint the Night Parade. It was one of the best Disney parades I've seen yet.

Yelp
I ate at Plaza Inn for lunch, which is always a must for my family whenever we visit Disneyland. We arrived toward the end of the lunch rush, so the place was still a bit busy, but we found enough seats indoors without any trouble. I usually get the fried chicken plate because it's honestly some of the best fried chicken I've had in California. My kids ordered the Alfredo pasta, and they said it was really good too. The service is always friendly, and the food feels fresh. As for the value, it's decent, but you have to remember these are theme park prices. Still, my family always leaves full and satisfied! If you're at Disneyland, definitely consider stopping by Plaza Inn...it's become a favorite tradition for us.
google avatar

Yelp
My body needed a salad after a week with minimal vegetables so got the Cobb salad. Romaine lettuce, chicken, bacon, egg, tomato and bleu cheese with bleu cheese dressing. They mix the salad for you. The flavors go wonderfully together and at a reasonable price of $15.49. You get a lot of food for the price and had trouble finishing it. The chocolate gooey brownie cake is divine but very sweet b The dining room is lively and noisy when everyone is talking and could barely hear the music. The person who made my salad and the cashier were friendly.
google avatar

Kristine J.

Yelp
Fried chicken is not bad, but slightly inferior to the Flo's V8 Famous Fried Chicken in DCA imo. This chicken was less moist, I think a bit too salty. But the sides are better here! Mashed potatoes were tastier. I remember my first experience having fried chicken here years ago and thought it was just okay, not so memorable.
google avatar

Ter L.

Yelp
Absolutely worth the character breakfast/brunch buffet price tag!! Dining here will set you back $50 for each adult and any child between the ages of 3-9 will cost $30 [prior to taxes]. Food offerings range from assorted cereals, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, french toast, fresh cut fruit, & the infamous Mickey waffles. There are baked good such as: croissants, muffins, & danishes. The popular station seemed to be the customizable omelets-if you're into this kinda thing. The food honestly isn't that great. It's just your average American breakfast items. The biggest selling point for me was the character interactions. Why chase your faves around the park when they can make their way to you??! My little one lit up as an assortment of characters made their way through the dining area. 5/5 stars! Our little one didn't eat much due to being overly excited, overstimulated, & too occupied in scoping out her favorite characters but seeing that extra sparkle in her eyes truly made for such a memorable experience. **extra bonus points for PI's 3pc fried chicken plate**
google avatar

Angela C.

Yelp
We went for my son's birthday, and it felt like stepping into a storybook breakfast. It's not cheap--$55 for adults, $35 for kids--and while the food (think fried chicken, Minnie waffles, cereal, and eggs) was just okay, the character magic totally made it worth it. My little guy lit up meeting them all. I loved the self-serve coffee (thank you, caffeine angels), and they had fruit and yogurt which felt like a small hug for the health-conscious. A little overpriced? Sure. But for the memories? Priceless.
google avatar

Eric P.

Yelp
Had some chicken pesto alfredo. Its good! It was close to closing so there were plenty of tables available and we didn't have to wait in line. But really, the go to is the fried chicken. Its a meal! If you're gonna try this spot, start with the fried chicken. They also have different desserts available.
google avatar

Lynn D.

Yelp
The Plaza Inn is one of my favorite Disney restaurants. The fried chicken and pot roast dinners are both favorites served with creamy mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans and a biscuit. We also had the pasta with bolognese sauce which was very good. The surprise was the seasonal gingerbread cake-so good! It was a cross between a cheese cake and a traditional cake and it was delicious!
google avatar

KENN C.

Yelp
Noooooo!... change back the recipe for the fried chicken and bring it back!! I had heard the batter for their fried chicken had changed, and it's not the same. I was our go to spot for lunch or dinner, but when we had dinner there last week...it was a little different. Maybe they had an off night or something, but it wasn't the same. I still give this place five stars, as it's still one of my favorite places to eat in Disneyland. Please make the fried chicken the old way.
google avatar

Mike H.

Yelp
This is my new favorite spot to eat in Disneyland. I've always walked by not realizing this place requires no reservation, the food is served quick cafeteria style and best of all it's hot/fresh and affordable! We got a few things, but the stand out dishes were the fried chicken plate and pot roast. They were a lot better than we thought, and the value beats any of the fast food stalls in the park. Why pay $60 for lunch at the Galactic Grill, when you can dine here for the same price? I'll definitely be coming back and looking forward to trying other items here! Mickey approved!
google avatar

Lillian J.

Yelp
Paint The Night Parade Package $55 per adult, plus tax includes salad, meatloaf entree, dessert and drink along with reserved seating for the 830 pain the night parade. Totally worth it for the reserved seating. Does not include an actual seat or bench of any sort but the sidewalk area has a great view. The food was surprisingly good, very filling. Check in lady and the ladies who prepared our meals were really nice. Didn't interact with anyone else. Dining room could've used some attention. Overall a good experience, glad we purchased the package.
google avatar

Jessica P.

Yelp
Had breakfast at Minnie's Breakfast and Friends at the Plaza Inn and overall had a great time! We saw about eight different characters, and the interactions were fun and memorable, definitely a highlight if you're a Disney fan or have kids. The buffet was $59 per person, which feels a bit pricey for what you get. The food was decent, but honestly, I've had better quality and selection at some of the other character dining spots in the park. Still, the experience and number of characters make it worth trying at least once!
google avatar

Patty L.

Yelp
We usually go to the character breakfast at Storytellers Cafe in the Grand Californian but decided to try something new this time. The Plaza Inn buffet is not nearly as good. It's got omelets, eggs, bacon, waffles, etc., but no salads or lunch foods like at Storytellers. The overall quality of the food was disappointing. Also, the characters, though friendly, are not dressed in cute adventurer outfits like at Storytellers. But the Plaza Inn is still the only place in the park (that I know of) that serves fried chicken on the bone, and it's delicious. So are the mashed potatoes and gravy. Once, during Pixar Fest, I had a red, blue, and yellow layered Toy Story-themed cake from Plaza Inn that was so divine, I haven't stopped thinking about it since. Sadly, they don't have it anymore... but maybe they'll bring it back one day. In short: skip the overpriced character breakfast and go to Storytellers instead, but definitely try the fried chicken plate.

Yelp
Lunch was fine but, I just really don't get the hype here. I have come here for breakfast in the past, it's real standard breakfast like, casino/hotel style. It's not special and it's not terrible. That's it. This is one of those places in Disneyland that removes some of the magic and softly reminds you that you're still in an amusement park. The fried chicken, is just run it the mill fried chicken, and I hate to say it but fast food fried chicken takes the top stop over this for sure. There are plenty of other options in Disneyland to eat that are more unique and stick out way more than Plaza. These 2 fried chicken plates and the Minnie Bundt Cake came in around $50, which is actually pretty decent so I'll give them that. With Blue Bayou starting at least $50-60 per person, Plaza is a much better deal for a sit down. Another thing keeping this as a choice for your lunch is the ambiance and seating options, there are always plenty of seats, and you can do indoor and outdoor. It's a very cool spot to watch Main Street. As far as service, it's Disneyland, all the service here is world class.
google avatar

Katherine B.

Yelp
The five stars is for the fried chicken alone. The fried chicken is SO good! This is the fried chicken that was originally in New Orleans square in Disney (where Tiana's palace is now). My family loves this fried chicken, it is a must. The chicken is juicy, the fry is perfectly seasoned and crunchy. It is just on a whole different level. The green beans that came with it were also pretty tasty. The biscuit was the only thing we could all pass on - it needs to be warmed up or something, too much uncooked flour on the outside. But still worth it to get the chicken! Plaza in is a quick cafeteria-style restaurant. Tip: don't go to the station straight ahead when you enter, go to one of the stations on the sides. They all sell the same thing, and you get fresher chicken if you go to the sides. They get you in and out of the cafeteria area quickly, and there is plenty of outdoor seating. There is also some indoor setting if you prefer. They bus your tables, so don't worry about where to take your trays when you're done.
google avatar

Yelp
The food here is usually really good. This is a fantastic choice for families to get a quality, great tasting quick service meal. The line at dinner time to get in may be long, but it does go quickly. I usually get the fried chicken. It is tasty and filling and can feed an adult and small child depending on your appetite. However, they do have a couple choices for kids meals. After years of coming here, I finally decided to try the salmon. In the past, it looked a little small and unappealing. But today it looked good. Don't sleep on this meal, as it was very tasty. Depending on your appetite, you may need a salad to start your meal off with. The food attendants get your plate ready very quickly. This restaurant is a cafeteria style dining experience. At dinner time, the tables fill up very quickly, but the table attendants try to clear them as quick as they can. There is inside and outside seating. There are also different desserts available to purchase. For a filling meal that is quick, but not fast food, Plaza Inn is a fantastic choice. Because they have different entrée choices, it has a variety for everyone.

The Plaza Inn has become my go-to place for dining during my Disneyland visits. Their service is incredibly fast, ensuring that I never have to wait long for my food. If you have a sensitive or allergy to gluten, you can request to speak with the chef and order a gluten-free meal. The chef will personally come to discuss your allergy, write it down, and then bring out your food. The food is delicious, and they even have a gluten-free dinner roll.

Yelp
Oh man. Maybe we were just spoiled from having our last character breakfast at Tusker House in Animal Kingdom (where the food is incredible). For the price, do not expect much for the food. We'll just say that it's more about the character experience. Breakfast fare is as standard as it gets - eggs, waffles, bacon, french toast, a few pastries and very lackluster fruit. It's like free continental breakfast at a hotel. At Tusker House (which is the same price) you can find carving stations, international cuisine, charcuterie, wild dessert selection and so much more. In any case! It's still super cute. The characters walk around and give the kids so much attention. Photos, hugs, dances, all of it. The characters were a bit underwhelming though, which was also a bit disappointing given the price tag. Instead of chip and dale and the mouse from Cinderella we would've loved to see some of the main disney characters. The brunch is advertised as 'Brunch with Minnie' and Minnie also does not walk around. You'll need to wait on a line to take a photo of her. My four year old daughter doesn't love rides and her thrill is meeting characters. For us, this was a worthy use of time and money. For others whose day might be spend waiting for rides and have older kids I would say it's absolutely not worth the money for food.

Yelp
Always my favorite place in Disneyland for old style fried chicken. Love the crispiness , meat tender. The mashed potatoes with gravy so tasty plus the green beans. For the price so reasonable and big portion. I love their triple chocolate cake was mouthwatering. It's a self service cafe plus all you can drink sodas or water. Service was self serve . Attendants were very friendly. Ambiance so Disney. The happiest place in Spirhern California....Mickey's kingdom

Yelp
Yesterday we had dinner at Disneyland's Plaza Inn, located at the end of Main Street on the right side just before the pathway into Tomorrowland. This is not a buffet, and it's a restaurant where you order your food at the counter, you receive your food then pay at the register before seating yourself either indoor or outdoor. Inside seating is more comfortable. I would say that we would order the same meal again for sure but would also be interested in trying other menu items.

Yelp
Review is based on Minnie & Friends breakfast buffet...3 stars for the mediocre food and price. 5 stars for all the characters you can meet in one place. Ultimately you're paying the price to meet Minnie & Friends without having to wait in lines. It was $107 including tax for 2 adults. Our kiddos are under 3 so still free. Breakfast is buffet style and was just okay. Normal scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, Minnie waffles, fruit etc. Quality was meh, the breakfast at storyteller is much better (but it's also more). We opted to do this breakfast because our daughter loves Minnie and it was totally worth seeing her smile and excitement. We were able to see Minnie, Daisy, Chip, Dale, Pooh, Tigger, Suzy. The breakfast was worth doing for characters but not worth it for the food.

Yelp
Came here for Breakfast with Minnie and friends for my three year old, and as expensive as it was $30/child, and $50/adult, it was worth every penny seeing her level of excitement and happiness when meeting the different cast members. You pay for the experience, hands down. The food is good as well, this was a breakfast buffet and they had customized omelette station, chicken with biscuits and gravy, potatoes, eggs, yogurt, cereal, fruit, and all kinds of pastries. It's very clean, efficient, and you meet several characters. For what it is, it's at Disneyland, it's worth it to experience one time if your littles will love it!

Yelp
My neighbor told me that the fried chicken here was really good and he was right! It was real good and this is a super casual place to sit outside and enjoy a Halloween parade go by! It's more of a cafeteria style experience where they have stations and dish out your food. There are drink machines and on today's menu there was pasta. It was hard to get a reservation for this place, maybe we lucked out this time? The staff is friendly and nice but it's pretty self serve. All the outside tables have umbrellas which really works for you in the California summer. Overall, nice place! I do think the better food options are at California Adventure but this is one of the better spots at Disneyland !

Yelp
Nicely decorated inside and also has patio and outdoor seating. Quick service going to the counter to order. Prices for dinner were very reasonable. Pot roast, mashed potatoes and green beans (with no gravy and no biscuit) made for a great gluten free meal. Roast was flavorful and moist. Beans and potatos had great taste as well. Others in our group had salmon and chicken strips. All was very good!Very pleased, highly recommend.

Yelp
The fried chicken here is a must try!! It's perfectly crispy and they give you 2 big pieces, they also serve it with a biscuit, green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy. Two people could easily share a plate which is nice. The pot roast is also pretty good but a little salty. The decor inside is really nice and they have a sunroom area with beautiful stained glass, as well as plenty of seating outside.

Yelp
The best value at the park! Deliciously fried golden chicken, mashed potatoes with a delicious gravy, and even greens are all included. It is priced well for a generous portion of food. There is standard outside seating, which is nice to get some air. You pretty much grab your food cafeteria style and the line seems to move quickly for fried chicken and pot roast. Salad line definitely takes a little bit longer.

Yelp
Quite possibly my favorite food inside Disneyland! Fried chicken 10/10. It's always superb. Super crispy, fresh, hot and juicy. Green beans 10/10. It's consistently in quality here as well. I don't like it when fried chicken places serve overcooked dull green beans. Here, they're always vibrant in color and the textural integrity is maintained. Biscuit 5/10. It's on the drier side, I can do without this. Mashed potatoes 10/10. A classic! Mac and Cheese 10/10. Kids portion is the perfect side order add on

Yelp
It was my first trip to Disneyland, and my friends and co-workers kept hyping up this place. Honestly, the fried chicken is okay. It was nothing special flavor-wise. Also, the mashed potato, green beans, and biscuits was nothing to rave about either. It feels like a to-go meal from the Safeway deli. Jollibee's fried chicken is still my favorite.

Yelp
Cafeteria-style spot close to Main Street. Came in for hot chocolate and coffee. Great spot for grabbing something easy and quick. Did not try the food but maybe next time!
