"Behind a discreet façade, down the few steps leading to the basement, you will find a chef who is passionate about citrus fruits, spices and pepper: he has developed a cuisine that closely follows the seasons and showcases the work of handpicked small-scale producers. An inventive array of dishes, served by a friendly and enthusiastic front-of-house team: a great find." - Michelin Inspector

Had one of the best meals of my life here. This is truly a gastronomic experience and my first in a Michelin guide restaurant. I had the chef's menu and my wife the seafood menu. This way we got to experience a wider palette. Every dish was a explosion of flavours to me. Portions are modest as per fine dining standards but we were fully satisfied at the end of our wonderful meal. They offered to change one of our desserts so that we could have a wider variety in the experience. Highly recommended. Price is on the high side but a definite experience in itself.

My wife and I love visiting Paris, and the delicious food is one of the reasons. We chose Pleine Terre for dinner because of the excellent reviews, and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is in a quiet neighborhood, and its discreet, lower-level location creates a nice ambience. For dinner, we chose the Chef's menu, and every course was superb. The taste, creativity, and presentation of the dishes were outstanding. The beef filet topped with foie gras and black truffles was my favorite. Chef Desrivières and his team have created a wonderful dining experience.

The most delicious meal I’ve ever had. Over six courses, the chef and our house leader Adrian took us on the most delicious, superb, and unique cuisine experience we had in Paris. Each course was part of the Chef’s Menu journey that perfectly combined flavors with balance and decadence.¡ Magnifiqué!

Our best Michelin experience! Very authentic French cuisine, generous portions, surprising menu. Very attentive staff, and sommelier is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The menu can be adjusted if you have allergies, are pregnant, or follow vegetarian diet.

Overall, had a good dining experience. Appetisers and starters were all fantastic. Main dish foie gras tasted good, steak and mash potato was ok.

One of the Best dinning experience I have ever had in my life! Every course was fantastically prepared and well thought of. There was never a shortage of bread on the table and the wait staff was excellent. Only “issue” i can find is the meals of the day used a lot of ginger. But nevertheless a fantastic meal, would highly recommend!

A delicious gastronomic experience! I quite enjoyed the variety and inventive flavours in the courses presented to us. My favourite course of the night was definitely the langoustine, which was delicate, tender, and beautifully plated. The bonito carpaccio was a very pleasant surprise, the flavours selected by the chef (particularly the citrus sorbet) paired wonderfully with the pickled elements and cured fish. The presentation of each course was classically beautiful. In each course, most garnishes and elements felt carefully selected and had their own purpose, however I feel that the anchovy did not pair well with the steak. Unfortunately, I have to take one star off for the service, which I found to be lacking for a restaurant of this caliber. The restaurant was not packed but the server forgot to bring our cheese course and had to be reminded. There were several instances, particularly near the end of the meal, that we were trying to get the attention of the server. At one point, friends of the chef entered the restaurant and the waitstaff seemed to have gotten very distracted. We waited quite a while for our dessert course.

Amazing restaurant. Each step of the meal was beyond delicious and the service was perfection. There were a couple of extra courses tucked between the others. I don't drink alcohol, so they made me a beverage with peach juice and vanilla that was mouth-watering. We started with a potato foam, then had truly exquisite crayfish. A wonderful serving of crab meat, made beautiful with dollops of colored sauces and kohlrabi. Raw tuna, gorgeously presented. (My friend declined the tuna, and got a delicious buffalo mozzarella with yellow tomatoes) Then lamb, served three different ways, the most succulent I have ever tasted. A "pre-dessert" - made with melon and passion fruit- a brilliant invention that I must bring home to New York! Then a peach melba dessert. Then coffee, and two delectable chocolates. I went back the next day because I couldn't stay away. I had foie gras to die for... The staff was incredibly nice and the chef -the chef!! - he was the best thing about the place, of course. SUPER nice, incredibly friendly and sooo talented. From Martinique. Worth every penny and more.

Yelp
This restaurant is in a basement, but you won't even realize it. There were 2 different tasting menu options (no a la carte), one was a 4 course (€75 pp) & the other was 6 courses (€88 pp). Staff were nice & accommodating. Every dish was absolutely delicious!
