This takeout-only spot is conveniently located inside the Whole Foods Market, making it easy to grab a bite and enjoy it at the nearby seating areas. Both the spicy chik'n sandwich and the sweet potato crinkles were delicious and reasonably priced. If you are not local residents on the East Coast, I highly recommend scheduling a visit and giving them a try when you're in the area.

My vegan friend raved about the bbq mushroom burger, and I was pleasantly surprised! The sweet potato fries and fried green beans were fried to perfection! So crunchy and not too greasy! The chicken sandwich was also good.

I was shopping in Whole Foods in Boston and you were offering free samples my kids and I loved it so much we decided to get lunch! The food is amazing and we didn’t feel sick from eating fun “fast” food after like the other chain restaurants.

Just opened inside Whole Foods. Crispy herb fries and potato fries were great! Was recommended the spicy chicken sandwich. Could you tell it was vegan? Yes. But was it good? Yes. Will try the burgers next time.

July 24, 2025 8:30pm.... Whoever the lady with glasses has an EXTREMELY BAD ATTITUDE!!! Im a very respectable person and this was my first time trying this place. I spoke 3xs before she spoke back, was not friendly, no kinda of people skill. Gave me the wrong fries. I clearly asked for green bean fries. I didnt even fo baxk end because I didnt wanna deal with her again. Good food though, horrible experience.

I love PLNT Burger because they always come up with innovative new flavors and menu items to switch things up every so often. Every time I go, there’s always something new to try!! Their chxn nugget dippers are MY ABSOLUTE favorites! And they have all the sauces (which I’m obsessed with.) Definitely recommend if you’re in the area and need a good burger, or two!

My daughter and I are both vegetarians and we love PLBT burgers, especially the Fish Fillet, it tastes like real fish! The herbal fries are delicious. They have good selection of herbal lemonades as well. Food is always yummy and consistent. Today, I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and my daughter ordered the Cheeseburger. So yummy! We always order at the InkBlock South Boston location. Drove 30 minutes to get it. Worth the drive! We wish people know more of this place! Thank you!

Located in the corner of a Whole Foods store, PLNT Burger promises a unique and accessible foray into vegan burgers. I decided to check it out post-shopping and ordered the double PLNT Burger along with a side of green bean fries. The double PLNT Burger was pretty robust for a plant-based offering. Layered with caramelized onions, pickles, plant-based American cheese, and PLNT sauce, the patties were bursting with umami. However, I found them to be a bit on the saltier side. While it certainly had flavor and was easily better than many of the vegan burgers I've had in Boston, it didn't quite meet my expectations for a 'healthier' alternative. The green bean fries were a different story altogether. Served hot and crispy, they were a delight to munch on. Their inherent green bean taste was preserved despite the frying, and they offered a nice counterbalance to the saltiness of the burger. While I wouldn't necessarily categorize PLNT Burger as a health-food spot based on this experience, it does offer a tasty and convenient option for those looking for plant-based alternatives. The location within Whole Foods adds to the convenience factor, making it easy to grab a quick and relatively satisfying meal while running errands.

What happened to the honey mustard sauce? It used to be so delicious and now it feels watered down and lacking flavor. Such a shame... Otherwise love your nuggets and hamburgers but it is discouraging to see the quality of the products go down.

The Whole Foods in which this PLNT is located was already GOATed - huge selection, fantastic fresh produce, great meats, and a massive wine and beer section. PLNT was the very juicy cherry on top. First of all, I don't love plant-based burgers. I'm not a vegetarian nor a vegan, but I like to dabble in the world of healthier, more sustainable food consumption. I'm not going to lie to you and tell you that this plant burger (they use Beyond meat) tastes more meaty than real meat, because it doesn't. It's obviously fake meat. But the burger as a whole tastes really damn good. Take the regular cheeseburger - The bun is super soft with a nice toasty inner surface, the veggies are fresh and crunchy, and honestly, the vegan American cheese is almost indistinguishable in burger form from the real deal. The mushroom BBQ burger has got to be my favorite - succulent patty topped with a tangy barbecue sauce and crispy fried onions and juicy mushrooms. It's just a tiny food stand inside of a Whole Foods but every time I come here there's a good sized line of people waiting to get their fake burgers. Their sides are also fantastic! The fries are nice and crispy and their fried green beans with spicy mayo dip are out of this world delicious. Don't be a hater, give it a try. And get the app for a free burger!

My daughter and I go to PLNT Burger often. We have been vegetarians for 7 years now. The sandwiches here are always tasty and the portions are huge. We are glad that they keep coming up with new items. Our favorites are the fish sandwich, cheeseburger meal, and spicy chicken sandwich. You can also customize how you want your sandwiches to be made.

Never thought a plant based burger would taste this good... we got the regular plant cheeseburger and bbq mushroom burger. Both were good but the bbq mushroom really stood out. Maybe it was the sauce but it tasted pretty much like the regular bbq burger in my opinion. My friend highly recommended the sweet potatoes fries here and it was worth the hype for sure. Sweet and the right amount of crispiness. PLNT burger is located inside Whole Foods and there is a big parking lot for customers so super convenient if you are looking for a veggie burger and don't need to compromise for the taste. There are also a lot of seating near the checkout as well as napkins and utensils.

Ordered from here for the first time tonight- delivery. The food was.. very bad. I am a vegetarian who doesn't eat eggs, and love finding a veggie burger when I'm feeling too lazy to make one from scratch. Tonight I decided to try not a veggie burger but a "mushroom" based chicken replacement. I tried the "meati" mycelium based "chikn" patty and it tasted like what I imagine moldy paper to taste like.. and it had the consistency of pulpy, cottony paper that was somehow hard and mushy at the same time? It tasted nothing like mushrooms either. The patty was a thick block that seemed not cooked and when I squeezed it, water came out? The breading had decent flavor. This "meati" brand patty is not Plnt Burger's creation so I can't fault them for trying to offer something unique. Perhaps a different cooking method besides breading would result in something better texturally? Also ordered fries which were definitely frozen and reheated. Not so good. Wanted to like this place but I'll be sticking to home made veggie burgers.

The Save the Bay Filet is my favorite. The hamburgers taste too much like meat for me. The staff is always friendly and the food ready when I expect it.

Ordered from the app after a walk around the South End. Was pleasantly surprised by the free burger coupon I had via the app. Was able to submit the order and pick up food within 20 min. Quick and easy. Ambiance was nice and clean as it was a part of the Whole Foods grocery store. Decent pricing, great taste 10/10 would go again

Meant to peruse the hot bar at Whole Foods, but thought to try PLNT Burger instead. My partner and I ordered the mushroom BBQ bacon burger, kids cheeseburger, and crispy herb fries w spicy aioli - TASTE: 3/5 - I'm no stranger to Impossible and Beyond burgers and always open to trying more options! My cheeseburger tasted as expected: unlike beef, but good enough for plant-based meat lol. The mushroom BBQ bacon elements elevated my partner's burger. Wished there were more herbs on the fries, but the spicy aioli on the side was tasty TEXTURE: 4/5 - the cheeseburger patty had a slight crisp, but the potatoes shone. Really enjoyed the thick-cut steak fries PRICE: 4/5 - our total came out to $22 SERVING SIZE: 4/5 - burgers were standard, and was a pleasant surprise getting a big serving of fries SERVICE: 4/5 - ordered our food around 12:30 on a Sunday, and got it within 15min ATMOSPHERE: 4/5 - though a small stall, PLNT Burger's branding definitely enticed me to try it out. We ate at the indoor seating area in Whole Foods PARKING: 5/5 - lots of parking in the Whole Foods parking lot

This was inside the Whole Foods Store- not sure how I missed this fact but it would have been great to know because we could have parked in the lot and not down and around the corner. The food was only so-so. It's the basic, if you don't have many other vegan options it will do kinda thing. The service was lacking - first person didn't even acknowledge us or a few others on the area and the second person took our order like it was the absolute last thing she wanted to do. Maybe they were understaffed but I won't be going back. For a positive though- the green beans were yummy!

WOW. I am very critical when it comes to plant based burgers and this burger was definitely something I would have time and time again. I ordered the BBG mushroom burger for delivery. Such a neat concept of fast food-esq plant based food. Because it was delivery - I didn't get a sense for the atmosphere or service at the restaurant but on a purely food based review I would give my burger a 5! Hoping to go back and dine-in, soon.

Edit: Despite the reply from a manager, I have yet to hear from anyone regarding my chronic experiences with items missing from my orders. I did my first take out order and opened the bag in the store and found half the fries were missing. The staff apologized and were very nice in resolving the issue. But EVERY SINGLE order I've placed through DoorDash, their website, and for takeout has been missing items. Not one order has been fully fulfilled nor have I gotten any refunds. It is hard to recommend a business where mistakes like this happen every time. Please improve, PLNT Burger! Your products are great but to date I'm owed more than $36 in food that I never received and can't in good conscience recommend your business until this problem is resolved.

This is a great guilty pleasure vegan joint. I had their spicy chicken sandwich combo and it was fantastic. It had the right amount of spice, was super crunchy, and the fries were salty and junk food like. I went here for the burger but the chicken sandwich am just spoke to me. If you're looking for some great tasting food this place knocks it hit of the park. The staff were super friendly as well which was the ketchup on the burger. As an fyi, it's in a Whole Foods but don't let that deter you from eating here!

Before going to a show nearby, I walked over to PLNT Burger which is inside Whole Foods Market on Harrison Ave. They also have several locations inside other Whole Foods Market stores. They offer a variety of plant based burgers, chicken sandwiches, fish sandwiches, fries, crinkles, chili, fruit drinks, milkshakes, and oat milk soft serve. They also have Cosmic Kids Meals too. The pricing is moderate. I ordered a PLNT Burger Meal ($12.99 plus tax) with PLNT Chili Bowl (upcharge $4) and Small Mandarin Cardamon Drink. My food was ready in 5 minutes and I ate my food at the adjacent metal counter which has indoor seating. There is also ample outdoor seating in front of Whole Foods Market. The PLNT Burger had a soft Beyond Meat Patty, Caramelized Onion, Pickles, Green Leaf Lettuce, Roma Tomato, tangy PLNT Sauce on a soft Potato Bun. The party was pretty salty tasting, otherwise it was good. The PLNT Chili Bowl had sweet and spicy flavors, a dense mix of plant based chili with ground Beyond Meat & black beans, spices topped with NewFields Cheddar Shreds and Sour Cream, Green Onions. The Mandarin Cardamon Drink was very sweet, great for washing down the aftertaste of the food. Overall, this quick meal was good for holding me over before my long concert a few blocks away.

Fast service delicious hot and flavorful was my daughter's first experience! Did not disappoint

Really good for a plant based fast-casual butger joint. Plenty of options to pick from, even non-burgers. It's annoyingly located IN the whole foods so it is definitely strictly takeout. I love the mushroom bacon and the fries. Should be a bit cheaper because of that but it is Boston :)

The service was great( I don't remember the ne of the gentleman to help me, I called him (freckles) was so informative and very knowledgeable of the menu. He was very friendly and answered all my question. I will definitely go back.

I ordered the chili cheese fries, which is one of my regular items on Uber eats. They arrived on time and were tasty, but the portion size had been cut by half from what I usually get. I am not sure whether this is a cost saving mechanism or an error by the staff, but I will not be ordering again if this is a regular thing. I'm still hungry & this usually fills me up. Disappointing.

Delicious, everything on the menu ! All food comes out quickly and the soft serve and shakes are great. Excellent vegan fast food

HIGHLY recommend! I am always interested to try new items and was excited to hear PLNT Burger was opening in Boston. I got their Spicy Chik'n Sandwich and their Sweet Potato fries with the Spicy Aioli and both were SO good. Will definitely be back!

I love PLNT Burger! So good every time!

Tastes like fast food (but doesn't kill your stomach). Burgers are great, even on swiss chard! Dairy free folks can enjoy a chocolate Frostie basically. The fries are bomb. The chili is rich with incredible flavor, but just a bit too sweet for me. Delivery has been fast on weeknights.

Came into Whole Foods looking for some inspiration for dinner ready made for me - found it at PLNT Burger. I don't eat beef because of dietary restrictions but this was the best not-beef burger I've had. Ordered the Baja and loved it! Definitely order a large sweet potato fries too - they were delicious! I'll be on the lookout for PLNT burger where I live - or look forward to returning here when I'm back in the area.

Very tasty vegan fast food, very quick, good service. I've been several times and I can't get enough. Love that I can grab it on the way out of grocery shopping too which is super convenient. You gotta have the spicy dust btw!
