"Like Niagara Falls, the Pocono Mountains have a long history as an American honeymoon icon. Newlywed couples have flocked to the region for centuries due to its stunning natural beauty, and, because of that couples' cottage industry, the mountains are packed with adults-only resorts. Stay at Cove Haven in Lakeville for a dose of kitschy, vintage romance — some rooms here have hot tubs in the shape of giant champagne coupes." - Travel + Leisure Editors

Poconos is always a fun place to come with friends or family. A lot of villas available for rent and Airbnb. There’s water parks nearby and kayaking. I tried rafting for the first time and it was such an exhilarating experience. Definitely recommend!

We had a beautiful time in the general area of the Poconos! Its so beautiful and quite and serine. Open spaces full of nature and fresh air. There are plenty of lodging options and "sites" to see in the area. I would recommend stopping by to see and experience this beautiful place for yourself!

I pass through here on my way to the City and love to marvel at the always ever present beauty. The views are staggering gorgeous, particularly when summer is in full swing, the colorfully playful foliage of autumn, and the snowy majesty of winterscapes. Just be mindful on the road and courteous. Have visited years ago proper and it truly offers prime camping/cabins/lodges, outdoor recreation, parks, camps, hiking, restaurants and much more! Ultimately, it’s serenely scenic, and the perfect backdrop for either a short-long distance drive, or venturing into the Poconos themselves. Highly recommended!

Gorgeous area in the northeastern corner of Pennsylvania with a ton of outdoor activities, this is a great place to enjoy nature and get away from it all for a bit. Tons of waterfalls, glacial rock formations, hiking trails, wildlife, golf courses, lakes, kayaking spots, and more. Even if you don’t want to spend all of your time outdoors, there’s some cool small towns, a casino, and a Native American museum in the area as well. It’s also very close to the Delaware Water Gap, which I highly recommend at least stopping by if you’re in the area. If you live in the Northeast, you should make a trip out here at least once. You won’t regret it.
