I generally don’t leave many reviews for restaurants when I’m travelling, as I’m not from the place and don’t always feel knowledgeable enough to comment on a cuisine that isn’t from my country. However, I’m making an exception in this case. This restaurant was recommended to me by a relative of a friend who lives in Singapore.
First of all, this is a modern Indian restaurant, so the dishes have a contemporary twist, either in their presentation or in some of the ingredients.
We followed the waiter’s suggestions and tried their specialties. The dish I loved the most was the idli, which was soft and spongy, with a very interesting and delicious topping.
All the other dishes were also excellent and not too spicy for our taste. Not that I don’t enjoy spicy food, but I appreciated that the flavors were well balanced, allowing us to really taste all the ingredients.
The staff were wonderful. All the waiters explained the dishes clearly and were very patient in answering my questions.
When we visited, the restaurant was fairly quiet, which gave us the chance to chat with both the waiters and the owner. We even exchanged phone numbers with the owner in case he ever visits our country. P.S. Send us a WhatsApp with your number so we can save it 🙂
Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience and a great dinner. I’ll leave the detailed judgment of the food to the locals, but from my side, everything was excellent, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Singapore or if I return myself.
