Pogo's

So, how exactly do you rate a bar? I guess it comes down to friendliness, atmosphere, offerings and service!? Right? So my son and I went to watch the NFL draft. He had been before..my first time. He told me it was a Riaders bar, I was wearing my Bills Jersey and his Vikings jersey. I was hoping this wouldn't piss off any drunks. We parked in the back, seemed like a decent lot with enough spots. They had an outside patio, didn't notice If it had televisions. Walked into the room, had pool table..maybe 2. I wasn't paying attention. Place had a cool locals vibe. Was kinda busy. Had 3/4 of the bar full, a bunch of t.v.s and Good sound. Didn't have to ask for the draft to be turned on,, it was on. People didn't bother to say anything or make any comments on our teams jerseys..so that was a breath of relief. Got a couple of normal looks of "who are these guys". But that's normal. No one came out to serve us, no waitress. They had a bartender working solo, with a manager kinda bigger maybe bouncer type helping out. We gave our order, we didn't order booze, just sodas. ( I'm sober, he is on a diet) later his friend came ordered beer..it was cold. We had some food, I had a club sandwich he had a chicken sandwich. Mine was good. He said his was o.k. Place had a really cool vibe. I think the owner was next to us on a table. He came by to check on us. We watched the draft. I cheered for my team..no one messed with us..that was cool. Just a great little local spot, that didn't have attitude. I call that a gem. Went to the restroom. It was clean and even had that blue water..that was nice. I noticed the "A" grade on the wall..that was good. I believed it. I'll come again when the Bills play the Raiders and see if I survive!

Reason for visiting: lunch with my buddy Date/time of visit: Monday afternoon, ~12:00 PM Parking: on the street or in the parking lot on the corner. Party size: 2 Environment/ambience: pretty chill. They got TVs on with sports. With sound. Pool table, $1.50 per rack. Change machine near the front; restroom in the back. Pretty clean. Service: bartender was cool. Friendly. Food: ordered 10 Buffalo wings, dry with sauce on the sizzzide; garlic parmesan and ranch. My buddy had the same, except with Buffalo sauce. Also had a coke. Cost: $23 for 2, with tip.

Nice pool table, great bar tenders. Food is also awesome! Breakfast spot for sure.

Drinks are cheap but not strong. Ordered wings. they were extremely overcooked to where there was a hole in the middle of the flats(Wings). And the carrots an celery were extremely old. like brown and strunk old. heres a pic I turned the flash on so you can see how old they actually are. Bartender was ok. Atomosphere was amazing. Tv’s everywhere. Pool tables! Nice vibe! Nice bar menu atmosphere!

Beer is cold. Drinks are stiff. Wings are on point. Music and billiards plus all the sports you want to watch. Great spot in the valley. Family owned.

Came here a few weeks ago on a Saturday. Only one bartender so we had to go to the bar to order drinks. That’s cool. We also ordered some food. The wings were decent. The calamari was still frozen in the middle. Ewww. The drinks were on the stronger side. Point being…. Come here for some decent drinks well priced but skip the food. Last time I was here we didn’t have any of these problems but it was a couple years ago. Maybe this day was just a fluke.

This place was described to me as a dive bar. I thought that it was a little piece of Americana. Everyone was friendly and I had good time talking to my friend. My salad was decent and I won’t shy away from going back.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon, we actually found parking on the main street right outside, but from reading other reviews it looks like there is also an option to park in the back. The place was empty at first and my friend an I got into deep conversation and we enjoyed some drinks from the friendly waitress. Before we knew it, a crowd started coming in and the place actually got pretty packed which they said usually Sunday is less crowded. There are lots of TVs hung up and everyone was watching basketball, one TV had the Dodgers, and one TV had an AKC dog show on where the dogs had to run and jump and grab something before jumping into the pool. Our whole side of the bar totally got into this AKC dog show hahaha. So before we new it, we were making new friends and cheering on the dogs. My friend and I weren't planning on drinking beer, but when we ordered the vodka with soda water drinks, we noticed the soda water was pretty flat so the drinks didn't taste so great, so we switched over to beer. I felt there was not much of a variety of beer to choose from, but I like Modelo so we went with the Modelo pitcher to share between us and it did hit the spot. We also decided to order the cheese fries from the menu, and the portion was generous with almost all the fries having a bit of cheese on them so it was perfect. I saw some other people get other dishes which actually looked really good, so if you're hungry, there are plenty of options to choose from! Everyone we met was super friendly and down to earth, which is important because at some of the other bars I've visited the crowds are not as friendly. This seems like a bar where if you go often enough everyone will know your name. I also always think about that as a female, could I go to this bar alone and feel comfortable alone? In this instance, I think it would be hit or miss and I would probably recommend always going with a buddy.

Pogo's has become our hidden gem since we stumbled on it during Covid. Every dish we've tried has been seriously delicious, and the wings? Easily the best in the valley! Great drinks too. What really sets this place apart is the vibe. The bartenders are so welcoming, it feels like walking into Cheers bar every time. Great food, great people, and a place that just keeps us coming back. If you know, you know.

Food 10/10 Service 10/10 Ambiance 10/10 Definitely a vibe also has fresh food for a dive bar always hits the spot.

This joint rocks! Great drinks and great ambience. Best of all is the lovely bartender Chantel. Funny, smart, entertaining, and makes the best old fashioneds ever. A real professional. Perfect. Go. Sit at the bar. Talk to Chantel. You'll thank me.

This place has been my spot since I was legal enough to drink. The wings are best in town and gotta love the employees there. Game day gets poppin. Parking lot is in the back and secluded from the Main Street. Beer is priced handsomely along with the mixed drinks that get you your moneys worth. A local backyard dive bar. Nothing fancy or crazy. It's the tits plain and simple

Great Dive Bar! With some of the tastiest wings you could find. The the Lunch specials are amazing, 10 wings for $10!!! The bar staff is always friendly and attentive. If you're a blue cheese fan you will need to bring your own, only Ranch served with the Wings

I really enjoyed the ambiance and crowd from this bar not going to lie .. but the bartender I believe her name is Vanessa is so rude and inattentive if your a female she won't come take your order til moments later seems like she knows her regulars and will take care of them first ESPECIALLY MEN she was also giving free drinks to some people next to us I'm assuming she knew them not sure if she's the owner which I highly doubt and overall the service sucked but the drinks were ok once she decided to take our order overall the scenery is a vibe I suppose

Pogos is an absolute gem The place is very clean and has very solid ownership. It's got great atmosphere, great drinks and the food is awesome. Pool table and a cool jukebox situation. Chantel is awesome and Jaret is ok The family does a good job running this great place. I recommend this place for anyone that wants to venture out to this valley spot.

I didn't know what to expect , I never been to this place, my compadres' invited me, well when we pulled up Mopar or No Car Parking was cool, The two Security Guards were nice do to the Fact we were Professionals , when I walked in I WAS Amazed that I was the Only Negra' in the whole Building, I told my Homies Damn are you guys Trying to set me up or something lol ( Joke) they started laughing. Anyway, we ordered A pitcher of Beer but , I forgot the name of it, ( they not like us ) we Different, then we ordered a 2nd batch, But , They ran but we ordered something different, the service was cool , I think I have a Crush just praying that she's single , Furthermore, I told my VATO true friends we gotta come back. I think I seen a pool table but it was packed that night

My favorite dive bar in the valley and the food is good too. I come at least once a week to get out for a drink and some good wings. Bartenders are dope but Vanessa and Tony are my people. I come during the week because the weekends get a little too crowded for me but I'm 41 so keep that in mind, for the younger crowd you'll love it. They have a pool table and on certain nights they have pool leagues. The crowd is always diverse but it's a bar so everyone is chill, just having a drink and mingling. This isn't the rowdy, start a fight bar this is a spark a convo in the bathroom with a stranger while pissy drunk and make a new friend bar.

Came here on a Thursday evening with a friend. Love that they offer parking in the back, alley is the entrance way to it. Also, plenty of street parking around. There is an awesome jukebox which you can also download the app and use your phone to purchase and play music. They have one pool table and it accepts credit/debit cards to purchase a game. They do have plenty of seats, if you enter through the back, you will see they have a room with tables and seats, and once you enter into the bar, there are plenty more inside. So, a good spot to come watch games, football, etc. Bartenders were ok, served us our beer right away and they work quick. As for the food, I did not get a chance to try it out this time around. I think the best part of this visit for me, was the diverse music coming from the jukebox! Restroom was clean as well and gender-based. This is more of a vibe to come and chill for a few drinks, play pool or watch your sports here and wind down. Three stars for me as their beer selection did not include my favs such as blue moon, or local brewery flavors. Which is why I ordered mango cart from golden road. Overall, I do recommend you visit them for a nice pitcher of beer if you are quite thirsty! Enjoy!

We cannot say enough about this place. Great food and absolutely AMAZING service. Chantel is awesome and makes you feel like you're at home. Lots of regulars but all very welcoming to the newbies like us. Tons of TVs so you can watch any sporting event you desire. The food is absolutely amazing. Get the wings, fries and tacos. This is our place now! Come to Pogos!!!

This place is so fun and welcoming! The bartenders Chantel and Jarret are amazing. We stopped at Copper bucket and didn't feel welcome. We had a blast and felt completely welcome at our new home Pogos. We will be back for Chantel's hospitality and attentiveness.And Kayla is awesome too.

Wings are great. Lol No dartboard. Long wait for pool table. The bartender had no personality.

This place was pretty cool. Good jams, good food, good drinks, and pool table that people are nice to wait. I loved my drink (pineapple and cranberry mix) and the carne asada fries was good. The wings looks good but I was too full.

This is the best local classy dive bar in the area with the best pool table, juke box and plenty of TVs to watch all the games! They have outdoor tvs to watch the game as well. Come and ask for Jared, Chantel or Ariel they are the best bartenders and have have great food

Perfect spot for great bar food, chill vibes and friendly bartenders. Half or full pitchers of cold beer and a full bar with tons of TVs to watch Dodger games. In the summer, they keep the AC cranking. Good lunch specials and Taco Tuesdays deals (3 street tacos for $3).

All of their food here is great from basic wings to their servers the workers are great . Generous , friendly.

Fun space ! What a find in the middle of the valley had some good asada fries and drinks here with friends while we watched the game the staff was very nice restroom clean even the people were good ! They had a pool table some golfing game (looked fun) and a juke box ! I would say for a guys night or girls night out go for it can't go wrong dinner games and drinks and this place doesn't hurt the pockets !

Any place that's been around since 1966 is doing something right. From the moment I walked in on a Sunday there was lots of energy and not many seats open eventually we found a table and ordered some beers they have a great selection including Golden Road, 805 and others. The bar food I would label in the gourmet bar food department with battered mozzarella sticks and other great options like blt (albeit not enough bacon). The drinks for pretty cheap - six beers, two entrées and an appetizer came out to 60 bucks. They play music via AMI jukebox so download the app.

Tacos and wings are best. Very casual and a lot of TVs. Probably best place to stop in for any sports game. And service is always great

This place is cool very nice vibes the only thing I do not like is the woman with glasses that works there she is not very hygienic constantly is coughing and touching cups food and ice she needs to sanitize or wash her hands after and cover her mouth idk. How no one has said anything in a review

Rockstar awesome place for a beverage after work. Friendly and comfortable. The wings looked amazing but I didn't get that far but plan on going back soon!

Pogos is your above avg hole in a wall bar with a few pool tables inside! Food is not bad at all for a small kitchen! Id go bck!

Good food, great service. Love the atmosphere. I like this big girl who goes there and she usually wears ballet flats. I would love to smell her flats and her feet :D

I love this spot! This is my friends go to bar, we come here to unwind and have a couple drinks and order their wings and chicken nachos. For a bar, the food is pretty delicious!!

The food and drinks are okay that's why they get one star but it was a group of us and we were having a great time and laughing, but the bartender girl told the guys we were being too loud. I thought it was a bar not the library

I'm gonna start with how amazing Tony is. He goes above and beyond for every single customer. He's an extremely hard worker and makes sure everyone is satisfied. The food is amazing. No matter what you order from the tacos to the wings burgers and more you will be satisfied. Husband and I had our FIRST date here... 40 years ago this weekend - Oct 18, 1980 - went there for our 30th anniversary 10 years ago. The BEST things in life last the longest! Hope you're still there when we celebrate our 50th!

Came over to meet up with friends, happy hour! Michelle and claudia are always serving, always very nice! Ate some lengua tacos and a mini pitcher of beer. Can't go wrong thank you guys!!!

I was excited to find this place near my new home. Perfect dive: wood paneling, no windows, lots of TV's, great sound system. I haven't tried the food, but if they have any veggie stuff I will next time.

I been here twice and Everyone is so welcoming.. food is delicious and drinks are super affordable only down side is a bit far from my house . But I definitely recommend it
