Absolutely fantastic! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting. The staff was incredibly attentive and made us feel so welcome. The food was nothing short of perfection – every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I highly recommend the SPICY TORNADO – it’s a must-try! The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable for the quality. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to all my friends.

My favourite lunch spot next to my office - i’m here at least once a week! I’ve become a sucker for their poke bowls and excited to come to the office just for my lunch poke. The ingredients are super fresh all the time, far superior other places i’ve tried in town. Also the team working there is the nicest! Recommend wholeheartedly.

Great place for poke and sushi! Build your own bowl with fresh ingredients. Amazing some of the best I’ve had. We had tuna avocado and California roll. Delicious! The staff were so nice and friendly. Stop in, you won’t be disappointed.

I got the Spicy Tornado Bowl with rice, add avocado, add seaweed. Definitely love the spicy cheetos. Fish was very fresh and the texture was great. Overall the bowl was fantastic. I'll be back.

I have been going to Poke & Roll for a few years now and the fish (and other ingredients) are always very fresh. I usually get salmon… Also, the service is good, the place is very tidy, and the rice is properly prepared. The quality is definitely way better than most poke places in town.

This place is fantastic their food is super good ranging from the bowls, to the drinks, to the rolls. The service is great as they serve you as soon as you get in the restaurant and place is small, but there tables look super cool and both of the workers are super nice!

Poke N Roll consistently matches the quality of other poke bowls I've tried, and the addition of rolls was a pleasant surprise. The meal falls within the expected price range for New York. The food was prepared in a timely matter, and the ambiance and service was satisfactory.

This is the BEST place for poke for about $15-$20 per bowl. Everything tastes fresh and all of the employees are friendly and caring. They have loads of customization options with no additional charge. They also offer punch cards for a free bowl, which I've redeemed twice now. For me, the best signature bowl is the Spicy Tornado, which goes great with avocado! The store is nice and quiet, especially late at night. It can get a bit packed at times because it's a tiny store. Due to this, there's not really an indoor eating area, but if you live nearby this isn't an issue. The closing and opening times are also inconsistent and a little inaccurate. Just a warning: one of the silver circle tables out front is broken and will completely tip over.

I've been meaning to find a good poke place by me and have actually walked by here a few times. I opted for the Hawaiian bowl. The bowl came with a lot of rice. Initially I didn't think the rice and fish portion was adequate, but I was quite full after. The poke wasn't bad, but it also wasn't very memorable/good in comparison to others I've tried previously. Thus, I'm not compelled to come back any time soon despite being so conveniently close.

A small and hidden Poke shop in east village. This is my go to when I'm in the neighborhood! I usually get the two protein bowl, and they let you choose as many mix-ins and crunches. The fish taste fresh, and the sauce combination turns each bite flavorful. Nothing really surprising, just a normal poke bowl. But, what make me want to come back is the amount of food they give. about this place is the amount of food they give. Fresh and value... nothing gets better than that. My only criticism is the service speed. Because of the layout, there is one person making the bowl and one person making sushi. During peak traffic, things can be a little slow. I would suggest to come with a little patience (we're all humans here!) or order online first. Hidden tip: this place has loyalty cards. Get 9 poke bowls and get the 10th one free. Also ask for half salad and half rice if you want. Value: 6/5 (especially with loyalty card) Service/ambiance: 3/5 Flavor: 4/5

Ordered the Hawaiian classic for 14.95. It was fresh, delicious and very filling for a deceptively small bowl. the service was friendly, polite and quick. I would definitely stop by here again.

My brother bought it as takeout for my lunch and the taste was just mediocre. I ordered the Hawaiian classic (Tuna & Salmon) since it had everything I wanted. The serving size was filling for one even though it didn't look like a lot. There wasn't much of the Ponzu sauce spread over the bowl. Mostly concentrated in the middle and the rice was lumped together so it wasn't easy to mix everything either. Only the parts with the ponzu sauce had an Unami flavor. Filled me up for lunch but don't think I would get again.

What a lovely surprise for my 1st poke experience in the city- fresh and clean tasting fish and big poke bowl portions and pleasant service. 2 protein poke bowl $15-$20 -good-great quality fish with all the options for toppings -normal-higher end of normal prices -choose as many toppings as you like unlike some poke places where u are limited (has all the crunchy toppings too) If you havent had poke- its like a deconstructed a sushi roll bowl. Its heavier than sushi (which they also have an extensive menu of) but its fun bc each bite can be customized. Sometimes you just want spoonfuls of rice and fresh fish covered in sweet, spicy, mayo-y sauces with crunchy veggies and fried toppings and this place will def satisfy the craving.

This is my go to poke place! They have fresh ingredients and offer generous portions.

3.5 stars I've been here a few times. The last time I had poke here I really liked it so I came back and the quality wasnt close to my first time. I asked for spicy salmon and spicy tuna and they only gave me regular salmon and tuna. They gave a lot of rice.. the ingredients weren't that fresh, it was the end of the day, but if it's going to be open, everything should be fresh no matter what time it is. So the poke is somewhat questionable.. definitely not consistent, but I do like the drinks here. The teas are sweet but in a good way. I like the options they have available. Staff are nice. Prices are reasonable.

My sister and I stumbled upon this restaurant snd we were pleasantly surprised by the pricing, options, and service. The poke bowl toppings were fresh and served generously and the fish was good quality. This is only good for take-out but luckily it's right across from a park! I would recommend for a quick bite to eat!

I went here today for the first time and loved it! I went here with my sister and we got the sweetheart bowl and the summer citrus bowl, as well as the coconut bubble tea and the almond bubble tea. They also have a "make your own bowl" option, which I'm excited to try next time I go. The staff was nice and friendly and the bowls were so fresh! I'm happy to have a poke place in the area. The East Village has an amazing array of food to choose from, but for some reason it's hard to find a poke place that delivers. That being said, I think their food lacks an "ooompf". The sriracha aioli for example, is very mild to the point of not being able to taste it. Their spicy tuna seems like their regular tuna. Even their jalapenos are rarely spicy. Can a girl get a little kick?! The kani salad is sometimes on the dry side. They chop up their cucumbers into cubes so small they're almost minced and practically just dissolve. There is no way to order a bowl with half greens and half rice online, writing it into the special instructions box doesn't seem to work, maybe they let you do that over the phone. And I'd love to see something small added to the menu other than poke. A dumpling or roll of some sort. It's little things that I think are easy to tweak. I've ordered from them about three times now and am happy to have them in the rotation, and I think you should try them too, but I'm eager to see how they grow :)

Poke N roll is rocking the roll... Newly open poke place on east 9th street . No grand opening yet. But start to serve the community of east village with all those salmon and tuna pokes . What a great little place to have your healthy meal .. poke and roll situation of happiness. I walked in to get some quick salmon and salad. Warmly welcomes with nice greetings and smiles I simply ask them gentleman . Give me something special and he made a tuna with Salamanca over rise and all those fresh vegetables. Damnnnn what a taste of poke. Nice decoration makes the ambiance better , even they did not do the grand opening yet, they already getting busy with the local poke lovers . I waited about 7 minutes to get to order. 3 people ahead of me and line goes down fast As I talk to the owner, he said that they will do the grand opening on Saturday and they will have printed menu by the time of the grand opening. Professional and polite owner that takes care of his business in every way to make it better for the community of east village . I am sure east village will be very happy to have this cute little poke place in his heart

I really wanted to like this place more than I did. Pros: -the staff is extremely friendly and attentive -this spot is open late Cons: -nothing really groundbreaking or "signature" here to set it apart from other poke spots -portions are on the smaller side The quality of fish was ok and the toppings were a bit bland

Nice to see something different in the sea of bars. Cute little spot in the east village filled with a very bubbly staff. It is a small place but vefy modern. To grab some food and go or have a quick bite at the wall table, it's a new alternative for something healthy. If you have never had poke before think deconstructed sushi. I had the tuna and salmon poke with brown rice, veggies and spicy mayo. The fish was fresh, the food was prepared quickly and I was out the door. They also serve a large variety of drinks from bubble tea, sweet tea, slushy and sparkling drinks. I had the lemon ice tea with lychee jelly. It's a little too sweet for my taste but with the variety they serve I'm sure there is a flavor for every pallet.

Not open on advertised hours. This really sucks as we drove far to get here. Neighborhood sucks and place looks dirty anyway. Avoid this.

Wonderful place for a quick stop and your own poke bowl creation. Fish is always fresh as well as all the other yummy foods. Sauce always ties it all together. Definitely a great place to go if you're a fan of sushi!

AMAZING poké. I stumbled in here one afternoon looking for a fresh and filling lunch and I was not disappointed. Located in the center of the East Village, Poké N Roll is an incredible addition to an already great neighborhood. The staff was friendly and helpful in guiding me in making me food choices. They offer a variety of seafood, fish, and even vegan friendly options. The location is clean and crisp. I will definitely be frequently this spot from now on.

This place is tiny and confusing. First of all, they were 1 or 2 hours away from closing but had run out of SO many items. It didn't seem that complicated to re-stock or re-grab the items from their fridge or wherever, but when I asked they were like "oh sorry no more crab left" "no more noodles either". They're also soooooo slow here. There were about 4 of us just waiting around to be served and the two employees were just taking their sweet sweet time. Portion size is only ok / pretty similar to other poke places. I do like that they do poke burritos, but honestly would not come back. I'm not paying the complete price to not get items that are "free" that I want. It'd be like if you paid for a burger and fries, but the restaurant ran out of fries and still charged you the full price and couldn't offer anything else to compensate for the missing item.

You want nice, totally average poke that tastes exactly how you'd expect? Poke N Roll's a good place to stop. Guy making my poké was the most unenthused, unresponsive person in the world, but the guy who took my cash beamed at me the whole time like I'd just saved his cat from a house fire, so I guess it all evens out.

Their food is always fresh and we always enjoy it. Really good poke bowls and the poke burrito was a great find. They have become our go-to place at least once a week.

The sushi burrito was INCREDIBLE!!! I'm now obsessed and will be coming back for more. I like the tuna more than the salmon, but that may be a personal choice. However, the almond bubble tea was a little off.

My god is the sushi burrito here goooood! The bowls are delicious and fresh too but the burrito blew my mind. Lots of toppings to choose from, and customizable in every way. The eel sauce is fantastic and don't forget to try their juice drinks, so refreshing on a warm day!!!

I got this mini poke last week amidst covid-19 times. I traveled to the location for pickup (note: you need to call in or order online; beware of their phone when calling in: it produces extremely scratchy and alarming sounds such that I could barely hear what the lady was saying. Sometimes the sound would happen while she was speaking so I couldn't get what she was trying to say). When I reached the location, the lady was nice. THEY ONLY ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS NOW, NOT CASH. I have never gotten a poké bowl in nyc; I have gotten one upstate and it was about $11 (including tax) for two proteins, while it's $10.82 (including tax and without the extra charged mix-ins) for a mini poké with one protein. I would say price is unreasonable but if that's the standard price here, then never mind. I had high expectations from the pictures shown on the website and on yelp, but my result was depressing. I had wanted a poké salad, yet they didn't have it available. However, there was cabbage salad available, which surprised me since I'm not sure if there's a distinction in health issues with refrigerating lettuce vs cabbage. I was also expecting a clump of kani salad like the masago topping, not really scattered bits of kani. Perhaps, I ordered too few mix-ins, but my first impression of the bowl was absolute disappointment. The meat was not as fresh as I would like; however, with the covid-19 setting, I guess that would make sense. Altogether, I felt slightly full but definitely not content because it didn't reach my expectations of a poké bowl. Overall, presentation and taste led to my two stars because at least, service was somewhat ok. I didn't know the store was call-in/order online only when I traveled to the store, so after I ordered, I could still see the inside of the store and there weren't many orders. I didn't mind waiting, so I expected presentation to suffice as amble time was given, yet alas, that was a faulty belief.

Pretty standard Poke spot. The portions are good and they don't charge extra for most of the toppings. They've always been really kind when I've asked for extra portions of one of the sides. Def worth a try.

Hit the spot! Just what we needed. It was fast easy and fresh. We got spicy tuna, salmon avocado, and yellowtail scallion and everything was DELIGHTFUL. Highly recommend for a quick sushi fix.

Came here because both me and my friend were craving for poke. This place is very small, probably can sit up to 9 people. The price is a bit pricier than other poke bowl places. I got a mini poke with chicken and the chicken is super dry and the add ins aren't that fresh either. The mangos aren't ripen enough to eat. Also the rice tasted sour, I don't know if they added in vinegar or the rice just went bad. I got everything mixed with spicy mayo but I barley got enough sauce and everything just tasted bland. Wouldn't come back again, pretty disappointed.

Tried this place for lunch for the first time today and it was delish! I ordered online and got the two protein option with spicy tuna and regular tuna. I feel like they're pretty generous with the toppings and the bowl itself was a good portion size. Would deff get again!!

Tonight was my first time trying poke in this specific place, I was hesitant due to the mix reviews BUT they definitely did not let me down. The staff was super friendly and the food was AMAZING. Plenty of options and super clean. I always get my 1st impression by staff and cleanliness but I can definitely say not only where the employees friendly and kind the food was fresh and I loved it. Try it out you won't regret it. Will definitely be back soon!

Poke N Roll, is amazing when you go in person to pick up your order, but it's less to be desired when ordering through an app. When ordering in person, the portions are large and you actually get the sauce you order! When ordering on line the portions are tiny and they often for get to add sauces. I also ordered a bubble tea through seamless. When it arrived there was no bubbles. I had a conversation with the manager over the phone who told me I had to pay 50 cents extra for bubbles and that I should've picked the option to add bubbles. There is no option to add bubbles on seamless. Thankfully he was very understanding and the next time I came in I was able to get a free bowl (due to lack of sauce and toppings) and a bubble tea (due to lack of bubbles).

I come here frequently because it's in a great location for pickup and fast food. I have no issue with this place whatsoever - it's exactly like Poke that you'd expect. The fish is good, the toppings are plenty. My only gripe (if it really is one to begin with) is that they give a good amount of rice, which I feel like is more in comparison to the amount of toppings they give. Otherwise, it's perfectly fine and a good Poke place to go to.

You'll receive enough rice to feed your building for a week. The portion ratio for poke is underwhelming. To be fair the app UI (Postmates) on adding veggies to the bowl was a little confusing and I might have been more forgiving with more toppings but $20 for a ton of rice and a spoonful of poke. Fool me once.

Amazing customer service from the girls who serve here. Very friendly and patient because there is so many options to choose from. I got the poke salad with spicy tuna and salmon, toppings and the wasabi mayo dressing. I recommend 100%.

Very bad Have tried poke in many places around NYC and this is the worst. Give very small amount of protein and the rice is half raw. Would never go again.

The closing hours Yelp has posted are incorrect. On the app it says the restaurant closes at Midnight, but it actually closes at 10pm.

I had Meal Pal for this place a couple of months ago and since then I've been coming back, everything taste fresh and yummy. The portions that they serve are very filling. The only criticism that I have was that the last time I came it was 30 minutes since the store was open and they didn't have tuna so I had to substitute with another protein. Other than that, place is great when they have what you want, staff is attentive, totally will come back

Needs more vegan options. There was only tofu, and I don't even like tofu that much, but that's the only thing I could eat. The cucumbers were bitter, and the price of the tea was a bit overpiced for a tea bag with hot water in a cup. Starbucks literally sells the same thing for $2. The bowls are quite small for what comes out to be around $14 total, and I'm pretty sure it was not worth it. The employees were really nice though, even while working in the small space that they have. Overall, the food was okay for what it was, but I wouldn't go back.

This is a really great Poke spot! The bowls are filling no matter what the size. Roman and staff are super friendly! I'm really happy for a business that treats their customers well and makes great tasting poke!

This is really unfortunate for me to write as i hate giving one star reviews. However, the food was tasty when i ate it, except the rice. It tasted very uncooked. I ordered brown rice with salmon + spicy tuna and seaweed salad. A few hours after i ate this, my stomach started to hurt really bad. I have no food allergies and ive only had food poisoning once. Well this would be my second time. I started to feel nauseous the next day and i had to vomit. Definitely something in there that was not well sanitized, properly prepared or stored.

Felt pretty ripped off with portions. Got the 2 protein bowl and the proportions of toppings to rice was ridiculous- 90% rice and 10% toppings. Can't imagine what the mini bowl is like. I could count out the pieces of salmon on one hand. Just tastes like rice and slightly like mayo (even tho I asked for spicy mayo there's no shiracha taste in it) And I paid $13 for this

I was really excited for a poke bowl spot to open in the East Village! I usually trek all the way to PokeSpot in Union Square for a good poke bowl. Unfortunately, it looks like I'll still be doing that, because Poke N Roll was, at best, mediocre. I'm not even sure why it didn't all come together--the shop is cute, they had the ingredients, I added avocado and garlic crisps... everything should have been great! But alas, the flavors were just not there: the rice didn't add anything, the spicy salmon was not flavorful, and the sriracha aioli contributed neither sriracha nor aioli. They're obviously still new, and a lot of food items were stacked out front, and no one noticed that I had walked in for about a minute before I said something. I'm going to chalk all that up to them trying to figure things out and hope they smooth out their operations in the future. Maybe I'll be back to see if the food has improved, too, but I'll wait to see if other reviewers start raving about their bowls.

Ordered from Poke n Roll cause of all the good reviews, but my experience was completely different. I ordered a poke bowl with tuna + spicy salmon and kani salad. Rice was stale and really hard to chew. And I know kani is supposed to be imitation crab, but this kani looked + tasted like imitation kani. Let that sink in a bit. Would not order from here again.

I've searched near and far for a poke place that makes me happy every time I eat it, I found it. Poke N Roll is absolutely delicious; fresh fish, clean place, drinks are delicious, and the staff is super friendly. Ive been here over 10 times and I always leave happy and recommend this place to ALL of my friends and associates. If you're looking for a quick, satisfying, and delicious bite to eat, this is the place to go. 10/10.

Ordered the taro bubble tea. I asked for less sugar but my drink was still extremely sweet, in fact, I was actually able to chew the sugar. I also noticed that the freezer where they get the ice for the bubble tea from also had frozen fish inside. I know this is a poke restaurant but it seems unsanitary to put fish and ingredients for drinks in the same area.

Ordered a bowl with 2 proteins-- salmon and spicy tuna. It was delicious! Only critique would be that it was a bit too much rice compared to the fish and toppings but everything was fresh. I would definitely come back here again!
