"Poke Austin, the casual Sunset Valley spot, is expanding into the Plaza Saltillo development. It’s expected to open in January 2020. The East Austin restaurant will feature the same menu as the original location: poke bowls with the usual array of raw fish options (salmon, ahi tuna, spicy scallops, etc.) or other cooked items (tofu, shrimp, wagyu beef tataki, etc.) atop bases (grains, greens) and a whole bunch of mix-ins, toppings, and dressings. People can either choose from already-set combinations or build their own bowls. The restaurant will also expand its alcoholic offerings, with more taps and options for the new location." - Nadia Chaudhury

I recently ordered catering from Poke Austin and I couldn't be more impressed! From start to finish their service was exceptional. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Shaine and Jennifer were incredibly helpful throughout the ordering process, ensuring that all our dietary needs were met. Delivery was prompt, and everything arrived in perfect condition, ready to serve. They exceeded our expectations making our teacher event a memorable one. I highly recommend them for any catering needs and will definitely be ordering from them again!!! They truly went above and beyond, THANK YOU!

Had a great dinner here! The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out quickly. Everything from the appetizers to dessert was on point. What really stood out, though, was the service—especially from the manager, Shaine, who was incredibly friendly and attentive. She checked in to make sure we were happy with everything and made the whole experience feel personal and relaxed. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to!

We like coming to this poke place since it’s conveniently located near us and other stores to shop around as well. The food portion is good but there are extra charges for some things u add on. The environment is also pretty chill. Anne L was so sweet and greeted us with a warm smile, and walked us through the different selections. Loved her energy and customer service. If you are looking for a good poke dish (nothing too fancy and will get you full) - def recommend checking them out.

I had the pleasure of interacting with shaine the manager at poke Austin. And I was thoroughly impressed. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care for both customers and staff truly set her apart. She ensures every customer feels welcome and valued, and it's clear the team thrives under her leadership. The restaurant runs smoothly, the food is always fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere is upbeat and inviting. It's rare to find management that combines efficiency with such personal touch, she is a big reason poke Austin stands out. Highly recommend!

Google
I’ve been to many poke shops around Austin and this one is by far the skimpiest on the portions. You pay $15 and get barely 1/2 cup of protein. On top of that, the bowl they serve it in is smaller than the standard bowl size at other places. I gave them another chance today and was actually shocked at the portion amount when I ordered at the counter. Service is nice but certainly not worth the price.

Google
I can’t believe how fresh and delicious the poke I got was. Probably the best I’ve had in Austin, could stand toe to toe with what I’ve had in Hawaii. Great service, huge selection of fresh ingredients, decent prices and portion sizes. I love to get smaller portions and the “skinny” was perfect! Really the quickest healthiest option around. I’ll be back!

Shanie is an outstanding manager! Every time I visit Poke Austin , she goes above and beyond to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and friendly attitude really stand out. You can tell she genuinely cares about the customers and the quality of service. Shanie is a big reason I keep coming back highly recommend!

Yelp
Probably one of the most filling and delicious poke bowls in Austin! I ordered a strong bowl and honestly for the price, it was a great deal. This bowl could easily feed 2 people. They served the bowl "subway/chipotle" style where you go up to the counter and go through the line choosing what you like. There were so many options to choose from and they def fill the bowl. The volcano tuna was my favorite. The spicy seaweed salad was amazing! I would definitely come back. Staff was nice and patient. They also have boba!

Vivian M.

Yelp
My favorite poke place. It's always quite inside but the food is great. Everything always looks clean and well stocked. There's usually never a line.

Matt B.

Yelp
Portions are insanely small!! Their tuna looked extremely low quality too. Maybe I'm spoiled from going to Pokeworks on east riverside, but I would not recommend this place whatsoever. Gf and I were super bummed!

Cathy L.

Yelp
Easy casual poke place where you can get a pre made bowl or they have all the protein and toppings displayed in front. You can mix and match with different bowl sizes, the smallest starting at $13 (which looks small but could be a full meal) and up. Parking is easy since it's in a huge plaza and there's not a lot of people generally so you can order quickly to go or to eat there. The interiors are kind of lacking I would probably just grab it to go, not really as a place to sit and eat and enjoy your time. Their fish was pretty fresh and they had a wide variety of toppings. I got salmon, crab meat, seaweed salad, tobiko, radish, corn (which was kind of chewy, that's the only ingredient that was not great), cucumber, and nori. The flavor was really good. I got the citrus poke sauce.

Yelp
Been going here consistently for around ~2yrs since i've lived in South Austin. Exceptional, customized and personalized service every.single.time. The patience these guys have with me Each of the staff i've ever personally encountered in going here over the last 2 years have been extremely kind, & **helpful af** individuals. Have met the owner a few times- he's made my bowls himself, & is a super humble, warm guy! My fav proteins that i've tried thus far out of their grande seleccion being any of their varied tuna, salmon, scallops, & seafood or lobster salads. They do have a "Popular 6" Menu of 6 pre-built bowls they've concocted (price range from $13.95 - 15.95), but the vast majority of patrons here do the build-your-own-poke-bowl ($ from a starting base of $12.99 - 18.99, depending on the number of between 2-5 proteins you choose). We really hit the lotto with this poke spot, folks, 'cuz i can tell you from a stupid amount of personal experience that all of their food holds up well when you get it for pickup/to-go, AND, **PRO-TIP: They deliver hella fast n fresh ery time on Uber Eats!** Several long, picnic-style wooden tables & benches serve as indoor dining, & i have to say that the dine-in experience is pleasant n peaceful, with a super clean aura y vibe. There's also always plenty of parking available immediately at/outside the front of this lil' resto! I like to go weekly on either Saturday early/later afternoons, or any time Sunday afternoons/evenings to be able to really soak in everything, & take me precious time building my newest meal cocktail with the ever-patient, special employees here! Beyond thrilled to pour n serve y'all the latest, piping-hot cuppa tea (you'll eventually appreciate/see what i did just there;) on their *BIGGEST, NEWEST UPDATE*: They just recently ADDED B O B A to their menu!! And an *AWOOGA* value-add for me re: their new Boba Tea Menu: each boba drink is made with NON-DAIRY CREAMER! As a lifetime self-proclaimed-lactard who loves boba tea, 'tis much appreciated. The boba tea drinks are not only v reasonably priced @ $5.75 a pop, but they're also around i wanna say ~ 16 oz in size! (++protip: you can toss in some extra boba like i do for just an additional 75 centsss) i personally have tried the Meowsical - described on the menu as "A taste of Orange cream blended with ice topped by Rainbow boba" - deliciously refreshing on a hot Texas summer day, & tastes just like childhood in an orange dreamsicle way ! (the Meowsical is the much smaller boba drink i have pictured, *note: it is a smaller size than their usual, as it was for a promo they had going on at the time*) My most recent visit there over last weekend, i tried the (also pictured, which is their normally-sized-boba-drink-for-$5.75) CoCoRainbow - silky in texture with the rainbow boba, and i loved her unique, subtle-but-not-too-subtle-or-overly-sweet coconut flavor! I'm jazzed to try the Purr*fect ("classic milk tea with brown sugar boba"), the HoneyB ("fruity honeydew milk tea with sakura boba" - who the heck has ever heard of sakura boba?!?), and the Chub Chub ("sweet nutty taro milk tea with coconut boba") on my next visits! Wrapping up mi mini telenovela here with several unique offerings this Poke joint has: -- a freezer full o' 18 intriguing, yummo Mochi flavors! They cover the basics with traditional mochi flavors like red bean, coconut, matcha green tea, & caramel. Also have a decent selection of more adventurous flavors from the likes of Jasmine Boba + Cake Batter, to Black Sesame -- 3 bigger standing fridges full of a wide selection of non-alcoholic drinks/bevs, including your standard Coke & Minute Maid products, as well as new/diff/funsy flavors -- An idyllic array of cutesy-tutesy Japanese candies such as Hi-Chews, Pocky Sticks in strawberry + matcha flavors, mi personal fav- Meiji Hello Panda bite-sized cookies with choc-creme-filled-centers, & Japanese snacks like Hapi brand's "Hot" style, Wasabi flavored peas packed wit crunch n fire! -- (Saved the Bestbelow for last!) As of my most recent visit here last weekend, they currently offer the following selection of 9 total **ALCOHOLIC BEVYS**including: 1 Chardonnay (white) + 1 Cabernet Sauvignon (standard house red) by J. Lohr Winery (HQ'd in San Jose, CA with their vineyards in Monterey County + Napa Valley) 2 White Claw Hard Seltzer options of the Black Cherry + Mango flavors 4 Canned, Domestic Beers - my fav option being the McConauHaze IPA (an American IPA style brewski crafted by Twisted X Brewing Co., located not too far from us in #Atx over in Dripping Springs, Tejas); local Austin-based Celis Brewery's "White" Belgian-style Witbier & their (Celis Brewery's) Dubbel Coffee Porter; and Houston-based Karbach Brewery's Cerveza Especial Mexican-Style Lager beer 1 Traditional Japanese Sake, the "Cap-Ace" by Japan-based Gekkeikan Sake Co. with a 15-16% ABV, in a 6.1 oz bottle serving

Yelp
Did I just find my favorite place in Austin for poke bowl today?! I ordered their signature Ono Poke Bowl, which came with a variety of fish that all tasted fresh and delicious together! I was impressed with the variety of different toppings that they had, some of which I haven't seen at other poke places, and I loved that fact that the staff were meticulous when placing every topping into the bowl in order to make it aesthetically pleasing -- it's the attention to detail for me!! :) They also provide a variety of different drinks, including boba and dessert mochi, so it's truly a one-stop shop for a quick meal! I'll definitely be back to try some of their warm bowls, which include seared salmon and/or tempura shrimp! Thank you for making my lunch a quick, but memorable, experience today! My only regret is that I forgot to take a photo before I started devouring by the bowl lol.

Yelp
Solid poke option located in the Sunset Valley suburb in southwestern Austin. I've found that poke as a category is very hit or miss depending on where you go. I spent some time scouring around Austin to get a sense for the options when it comes to good poke, and I've landed on this spot several times (and for a while it was my go-to spot). When it comes to poke, I also tend to think there are several categories that an establishment can be graded on, including 1) food quality, 2) protein selection, 3) other add-ons, 4) sauce selection, and 5) overall experience. Generally, I have found this place to have good quality ingredients. I always shake my head at folks who claim different places have more fresh or less fresh fish as I'm always a bit confused how most people can really tell (aside from some horrible, rotten odor). Anyways, all the ingredients I've had here have tasted good. In terms of protein selection, I find this place offers the majority of the protein options you'd expect from a standard poke place--as well as several less common options, such as octopus, unagi, and tamago. Similarly, this place also offers most add-ons that you'd expect with standard poke (e.g., edamame, seaweed salad, onion, peppers, etc.), as well as other less common ingredients (e.g., fukujinzuke, oshinko, etc.). There are plenty of good sauce options here, and to my delight, plenty of spicy sauce options. Finally, I have found the overall experience of coming here to be quite good. Occasionally, it can be a bit slow, but when there is no line it isn't too bad. The staff here are really nice and enjoyable to talk to. Prices are fairly standard for what you'd expect with poke.

Yelp
It always smells fresh and the food feels and tastes fresh. They are always quick and easy to order or pick up.

Bill S.

Yelp
First of all i found the service to be rather unfriendly. The server (a guy) showed no sign that he was happy to be working there or waiting on me (it's hard to find good help now, I know). But that would have been ok if the food made up for it, and sadly, it didn't. The spicy tuna was about a 1 on a 1-5 scale. The other fish (Salmon and Shrimp) was bland. None of it tasted very fresh. The toppings were ok, but i didn't particularly care for pickled veggies that seems to have lots of food coloring. I will pass on this place and try one of the many other Poke places in town.

Matthew W.

Yelp
I love going to this place and eating delicious pokey and I also love that they make it fresh

Danielle R.

Yelp
The selections for toppings is off the chart! I super appreciate when I can try something new and they had a few things I'd never heard of. Fish quality was pretty decent as well and multiple options to choose from. Great service and good portions. One of my fav poke spots in Austin!

Amy D.

Yelp
The milk tea boba (purr*fect) is PERFECT. Delicious. Poke is amazing. Loved the options. Easy to customize. Would come back! OH and staff was EXCELLENT!!! Super friendly and helpful and so much fun :).

Jullian D.

Yelp
I USED to love Poke Austin so much. I go here Atleast once a week in the middle of the day and I think I usually get the owners to make my food. (Not sure if they're the owners, but they seem to know the people around & how to navigate the restaurant) AND THEYRE PRETTY GREAT. They greet me and they're super friendly! I even saw a kid once helping his dad clean the one of the tables. Pretty awesome. BUT the past month, I've been ordering through Uber eats and usually order around 7pm after work. And this happened 3 times already, staff are not friendly and most of the time they seem clueless on what to do / or if I want to order something else they'll have poker face or will look annoyed. And no thank you either. I also think the quality and amount of the food is not as good as it used to be. I ordered "super"-- doesn't look like super anymore. I ordered boba, tapioca was over cooked, the texture almost felt like paste. And the ice was probably 80% of the cup. And I know that establishments put a lot of ice so they stay cold but theirs is pretty much just ice. So sad that this is happening.

Johanna J.

Yelp
I've stopped by to pick up lunch on several occasions and my experience has been consistent. Food portions are generous and prices are reasonable. Clean environment with friendly staff - I do recommend.

Ross I.

Yelp
Solid poke place in south Austin! They have an extensive array of toppings and they are generous with them. Service is friendly and helpful. Nice atmosphere and clean interior- what's not to love?

Lily G.

Yelp
Went in for a quick lunch and found this place next to Orangetheory which was perfect for after my workout. The proteins, bases and toppings selection were great, I went with the Super build-your-own which lets you pick up to 3 proteins. I chose the ahi tuna, salmon and teriyaki chicken. There are raw, cooked, and cooked-warm choices to choose from with the proteins, and the teriyaki chicken fell under the cooked warm category, but when I tried it, it was completely cold so I'm not sure why it's under that category. However, I was pleased with the freshness of the fish and other toppings, they do great with portion size and I was pretty full after finishing about half the bowl. I would most likely come back and try some of their other combinations, I'm glad I found a place that is close by and hits that poke craving, definitely would say it is worth checking out.

E N.

Yelp
Fish was good, didn't get much for the price. Customer service was horrible. I walked in at a time where there was no one. The girl didn't greet me until she saw me standing staring at the menu. It was my first time there so I was looking for more than a minute and she started explaining it to me. Love a good poke bowl, and this spot sufficed. I would be back but not with the customer service experience she gave. Maybe act like you like your job one bit?

Priya N.

Yelp
Poke austin is a pretty good place! The portions may see small at first but it is quite filling! I got the shrimp tempura which was delicious! I would get this again for sure.

Nic G.

Yelp
Love this place. Nice employees even though their service can be slow at timesPoke Bowl

Dan C.

Yelp
Way closer than Hawaii to cure a Texan poke fix. An abundance of options leaves a lot of room for both variety and the element of surprise -- choose your ingredients deliciously (or pick a configured menu item). Choose your own adventure! Inconsistent quality across ingredients detracts from potential: tasty toppings, fresh greens, offset by occasional misses like 'sushi rice' that was a confusing clumpy mush.

Rob P.

Yelp
Did an UberEats order from their ghost kitchen "I Lava Poke." Ordered two poke bowls with 5 toppings and an hour later I got two poke bowls with 2 toppings. Yup, they didn't put on the edamame, seaweed salad, or crispy onion. I called to talk to a manager and she suggested maybe the UberEats driver ate it? Yeah, sure, she opened both bowls and carefully removed those 3 toppings from both, leaving the salmon, cucumber, and onions in place. Geez, take some responsiblity when you screw up at least. This bowl is inedible.

Crystal L.

Yelp
Super tasty, fresh and friendly folks running this joint. Picked up some merch in proximity down south and figured since I'm coming from up north, I'd try someplace new and local. This place is great for lunch and hits the spot for tasty fresh poke! :) Will be back whenever I'm in the area! Yay south Austin!

Ashley L.

Yelp
Wanted some fresh and spicy so went here and had their volcano bowl! So yummy and spicy. I liked how you can order your food and see all the different items to add in. The staff was also very helpful since I never been in there before. They helped me on choosing the right food for me.

Mark M.

Yelp
Not a good value, around $15 for smallest skinny portion Poke. Salmon and tuna here is not very good quality, service is lacking here. Better Poke options in Austin.

Barry M.

Yelp
Only place we buy poke bowls from Brandon was very rude didn't know what he was doing at all , girlfriend asked for a large bowl so he rudely went back and dumped contents of small bowl into larger bowl. She had to ask for more ingredients? First time we've been really let down here. 10-14 @ 4:35pm

Chris F.

Yelp
I do not think this place was horrible. But I do not think this would qualify as good Poke. Is it average for a White area American fast food store, yes. I'm thinking on par with McDonalds. Was it fast, no (actually took like 20 mins to get the one bowl with 4 people in front of me upon arrival). The two (teenagers... maybe) were very kind though. Would I recommend, no. But to be fair, outside of this review, I wouldn't talk about the food/experience at all.

Med F.

Yelp
Maybe it just an off day for this place, but the white rice was way undercooked and the scallops were very fishy tasting. They also did not have some of the usual raw fish. Hopefully they will get back on track when I visit next!

Joseph B.

Yelp
Not bad. Lots of different protein selections and flavors. The fish was just ok and can not really confirm the freshness or quality. The staff could use a pep in their step, too as the ambience seemed to be lacking any energy. I'd say give them a shot if you're in the area but will say the other place, a little more south is far more impressive.

Chris P.

Yelp
This place is great. Quick, tasty, sushi/poke. What more could you want? It's exactly what you would expect. The staff is also always friendly. The food is great, and quick. Tons of different options. I've always been satisfied. I love you been here several times.

Sara N.

Yelp
I'm always perplexed as to how I spend so much money on the most basic bowl. My kiddo never gets all the toppings, sauces (literally rice, edamame and shrimp on a skinny) and it's still over 20$ including a drink. I literally scoured the receipt trying to figure it and walked out bewildered. Oh well

Desiree B.

Yelp
Ordered today for the third time. Drink was missing, many of the ingredients in my bowls were missing and THEY CLOSED A FLY INTO MY TAKEOUT BOX!! I can't believe how careless and gross that is. I wish I could attach a video. Done here for ever ever.

A E.

Yelp
I love the food here, it's so fresh and the selection of quality ingredients available is perfect. Everything I've eaten here is amazing. I can't wait to come back and try something new.

Dave H.

Yelp
Located in Sunset Valley, this is a great little restaurant. You enter the restaurant, and immediately go to the counter, where you select the size of your meal along with all the various ingredients from shrimp to tuna poky to lettuce to crab and so on. The staff fills your box with your ingredients, then you select a drink item from the refrigerator, and find a seat inside or outside. I chose the small tuna poke meal with white rice, edamame, ginger, carrots, corn,, and cucumber. It was delicious. My wife picked the crab bowl and she had a choice of salad or rice. She said it was very delicious. We've included some pictures for your enjoyment. If you're in Sunset Valley, give it a try. It's located next to mighty fine burgers.

Hanna N.

Yelp
The food was tasty and fresh. Portions were small compared to how much it cost. They tried to charge a transaction fee for using a debit card. They were using the square system. I ended up paying cash to avoid the fee. Weird vibes all around.

Monica K.

Yelp
I've been looking to give Poke a try for some time now and finally found the opportunity to stop into Poke Austin. They have a few set menu items but the place is set up so customers can build their own bowls. You start with a base (brown rice, white rice, quinoa, or spring salad mix, you can also combine two options!), then add your proteins, mix ins, and toppings. They have so many options, I couldn't name them all in this review if I tried. However, something to note is that certain selections do come with a $1 upcharge. Also, service is slightly slow, but that has more to do with customers being indecisive, or sorting through their options and less the do with the staff. The staff were extremely helpful at explaining what everything was and how ingredients compliment each other. I ended up building my owl bowl with salad, spicy scallops, yellowtail, red snapper, carrots, cucumbers, mild poke and garlic aioli dressing, ginger, kimchi, scallions, and sesame seeds. Did I mention they have SO MANY OPTIONS? My bowl was incredible. I felt satisfied, but not stuffed afterwards. I'm not sure what ingredient made my bowl as spicy as it was, but it definitely had some kick. My partner and I can't wait to come back and try some other combos!

michael n.

Yelp
Awesome food, awesome people. I come here a lot, the owner is a super cool person, and all the employees are LEGIT and will hook you up with extra stuff if you're nice. It's hard to get a five star reviews, because when do someone right they rarely care enough about you to do something nice back. I never leave reviews, so that's saying something about how awesome place is!

Mariana M.

Yelp
SO good. Amazing food, friendly staff. So many options to choose from! Will be coming back.

Allison R.

Yelp
This used to be my go to poke place, but the past three times everything has been pretty crappy. It's like they barely put any rice and the rice they do put is really crunchy and undercooked. The protein portions are also a lot smaller and they've messed up on two of my pick up orders so this time I sent someone to pick it up for me. Food quality is still not like it used to, the portions are smaller and the person who got my order said the lady was really rude to him. We will just have to find some place else.

El B.

Yelp
Spicy tuna and garlic shrimp were our favorites! Service was great (got some recommendations), nice and clean store.

Kia L.

Yelp
Let's get to the point Poke Austin is not my favorite Poke. The tuna and salmon do not taste fresh and this is my second time giving them a chance. The service is good and fast. Prices are decent as well.

Alex L.

Yelp
Just OK. Maybe they were having an off night? Ingredients seemed of decent quality but the guy making my bowl was very stingy. For $16 I expect to not be starving after finishing my meal. At least fill it up with the cheaper filler toppings? Also, the tuna in my bowl was definitely half frozen. This is an acceptable healthy to go option in a pinch but I definitely won't come running back for more.

Stanley F.

Yelp
Portions are way smaller. Not really worth it. Super stingy about the seaweed salad that you have to pay extra for so that sucks.

Amanda K.

Yelp
I met up with a friend here for lunch this afternoon. It was our second choice since our original choice wasn't open on Mondays. Boo!! No worries, I had just bookmarked this place on Friday after dropping off a box at Fedex. It all worked out in the end. Upon entering you will see a list on the wall of all your options and steps to follow to create a delicious bowl. I ordered a medium bowl which comes with 3 proteins. I decided on tuna, salmon, and yellow fish on a bed of fresh greens. I added a variety of other things to make my bowl delicious to include: seaweed salad, jalapeños, pineapple, cucumbers, etc Note: if you are gluten free they do have specific sauces for that and you just have to ask them. There are also a few upcharges available to include adding avocado for an $1. Overall it's a good healthier option and it's a great place for gluten free, dairy free and vegetarians.

Yelp
Poke is slowly making its move into South Austin, and I'm a fan! I think Poke Austin is the first poke-only spot in South Atx, and I've been waiting for that. Coming from CA, it's such a big thing there...and originally from HI, I'm glad this foodie trend is shifting here. I went with the medium bowl size. Usually, I think I can get the largest size, but my eyes always end up being too greedy for my stomach. The good thing is, if you get a size too large, you can always keep it in the fridge and eat it later on or in the next day. They have a good selection of toppings like edamame, seaweed salad (SO glad it's free! Def a great selling point), kimchi (Korean-owned wassuppp), and radish, to name a few. I also love that you can get half/half different bases--for example half salad and half white rice. My friend isn't a big fan of raw fish, so she got their baked salmon. IT WAS HUGE. I would highly recommend that--and it's the same price as poke. What a deal! Poke Austin also sells mochi ice creams and cold drinks. The reason I docked off a star is because when I go to poke spots in CA, I am usually asked if I want to sample their poke. It's a nice touch to taste the poke you are considering to put into your bowl. This is just a suggestion. If you're in the mood for straight up seafood protein, healthy eats, and a Chipotle-style ordering system, come here. They also use FiveStars, so if you become a regular, you can get rewards. There's plenty of seating indoors and outside, extra sauces like sriracha, plenty of chopsticks, and friendly service.

Amanda S.

Yelp
My husband and I stopped in here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and had a great experience. The spot is located in Sunset Valley behind the FedEx and across from Mighty Fine. If you are new to Poke they make it pretty easy for you to put a bowl together. First you pick your filler which is typically white rice, brown rice, quinoa or salad mix. Then you choose your protein - they have all types of delicious things to pick from. Next you choose your mix ins and dressing. Last you top it off with a handful of toppings and crunch. If you are unsure what to pick the employees working can probably suggest something tasty. I noticed that they did for several people when we were there. I had a salmon bowl with white rice. I added pineapple, cucumber, carrots, red onions and mixed it with the mild poke dressing. I topped mine off with ginger, seaweed , masago and fried onions for a nice crunch. It was delicious! I got the small which was plenty big for me too. My husband did a completely different combination and opted for the large bowl with the salad mix. He said his bowl was great! I would absolutely come back here and I am glad we have a good poke place down south now! Definitely a fan here!

The hot poke is always my go too for this place, but I think that it needs a better system of giving out online orders. This is the third time my order has been given out to someone else. This time they didn't even tell me that they give the order to someone else and had we wait 30 minutes for my order to be remade. It was until I asked what happened to my order because it was marked as done at 1:38 but didn't get it until 2:20 that they told me. Kind of over coming here at this point.

Yelp
Poke Austin was a great find for me on the way back to the airport. The rest of my traveling group hit up a fast food joint. I wanted fast, but not the food typically associated. Poke Austin was not only fast, but it was fresh, the people were accommodating and the flavors were good. An excellent alternative to the typical fast food. Wish we had a Poke Orlando.

Yelp
This was my poke spot since it opened! It's been a couple months but today we went back and it's completely changed. The portions are much smaller (price is the same of course). The seared salmon appears to have been torched for an hour, terribly overcooked. Also, multiple toppings were missing. What was put in the bowl doesn't even taste the same, and it's not just the overcooked salmon rocks. This is the saddest poke bowl I've had. Save your money. This is no longer the spot.

Yelp
This will be the last time I ever order from here, the food was so BAD! I ordered a bowl and there were many things wrong with it that just made it inedible. First, they gave me the wrong type of rice, which would have been fine if that was the only thing wrong with the order. The cooked salmon was terrible, fishy, overcooked, dry, disgusting. The kimchi was absolutely FOUL, and this is coming from somebody who loves kimchi and it's flavor. It tasted like it had gone rancid, I felt sick immediately after biting into it and spit it out into the trash. Lastly, the fried garlic was so hard that I thought I had bitten down on a rock in my food, it hurt my teeth so bad I had to check if it had cracked (Yes, that's how hard the pieces were). After all of the above I just threw out the whole bowl. I felt so sick after a few bites, and completely lost my appetite. I tried reaching out Poke Austin for a refund, explaining everything that happened, but didn't hear back. I then tried to call the restaurant to speak to a manager about a refund, with yet again no response or call back. It has now been over a week from me trying to contact them for my refund, with no response. If they had given me a refund I might have given them another try at some point. I recommend finding another Poke restaurant to eat at. There are many good ones in Austin that have good ingredients, better customer service, and actually taste delicious. Never again, Poke Austin.

Yelp
My husband and I literally eat here at least once a week. We love this place! He sometimes splurges and gets the spam, but I get the same healthy, fresh bowl every time (boring I know) but it always hits the spot. They have water bowls outside for pups which we appreciate and their weekly deals are awesome. They ONLY downside is that they run out of the coconut mochi pretty regularly - which seems to be everyone's favorite! All in all a great place.
