**Tasty Food with a Price Tag** I recently did a take out at this location and found the food to be decent, although a bit overpriced, which is typical for the city. They do charge extra for mangoes. I enjoyed the spicy flavors, especially the spicy salmon and scallops. The salad mix they provide is also quite good. Overall, the flavors were great, and the service was solid. Despite the cost, the dining experience was enjoyable. If you're willing to spend a bit more, it's worth trying. Good gluten free and healthy options.

The food was great, but not for the price of nearly 20 dollars for a small poke bowl. I could make this at home and still have enough money to feed a village with this price… I think that it was also discomforting to have clear glass walls looking in at either Herald Sq. or the Urban Outfitters this restaurant is annexed to. Though the design is pretty, it’s not very practical to have to stare at pedestrians and clothing shoppers while trying to enjoy my food. Regardless pretty good.

Poke Bar is my favorite poke place in Manhattan! It is always fresh, ready in minutes, and the portion sizes are very good. Not many places give you a full bowl of fish+veg AND a separate soup container of rice (freshly made).

The service was wonderful but the food is just okay, bordering on mildly bad. It's not something you'll spit out and they definitely pile on toppings that can make it more palatable, but the essence of quality Poké is not necessarily retained in the protein ingredients. If you're someone that is after good poke, this is probably not the spot. If you're just looking for a quick/satiating bite, this'll do!

Food and presentation were perfect. My bowl looks amazing and it is right by herald square.

Loved this poke place! It's the first poke place that I try that has Kale noodles (they were pretty goo)! The fish quality is good, very fresh I ordered a large bowl (which was huge and could not finish) and came with a free miso soup.

Sunset House has marinated ahi tuna and salmon served over browned rice, then drizzled with shoyu. The seaweed salad and crabmeat are some great refreshing additions. They really filled my bowl to the brim and made it colorful. The daily options Poké Bar offers on MealPal have a good balance of carb, proteins, and veggies. I am a very indecisive person when it comes to highly customizeable dishes, so the house-style bowls make my life easier. Shout out to the friendly staff at Poké Bar Midtown! They welcomed me with a big smile, and even asked whether I'd love to have some more furikake on my bowl.

Overpriced for that quality of the fish but it's not terrible. I ordered multiple proteins and the scoops aren't that big. The spicy ones are actually spicy and the salmon is the best. Do not pay extra for mango as the mango is sour and not worth its price. As for the ambiance it's a well lit place and the service is quite nice as they were all kind and I was able to order my takeout quickly.

Best poke I've ever had--TONS of fish and very fresh ingredients (seaweed salad in poke absolutely cannot be beat). Super kind owner too who gave my sister and me a free cantaloupe juice when he overheard us talking about the heat, please support them!

Solid poke spot! Fish was fresh and staff was nice. $19 for a medium firecracker bowl after tax. I would recommend as a quick lunch spot. There is a bit of seating in a bar style.

Food was good, nothing crazy. $15 for a small tofu bowl did not seem worth it. It's good for a quick snack. It is very customizable and can put however many toppings you would like. I would probably rate it higher if the price matched the quantity. Staff was very friendly. Restaurant inside of a clothing store but still had good seating.

I haven't had Poke in quite some time and was craving it. Thankfully, Poke Bar is right near my job and I was able to head over there during my lunch break. It's been awhile since I've eaten here. The poke was as good as I remembered. I got the O.G which consisted of: Tuna, Edamame, Imitation Crab, greens, sweet onion ponzu and house dressing. It tasted so fresh. You can see them make it in front if you. Very filling meal!

Very solid poke option by Herald Square with generous portions, fresh fish, and reasonable prices. I would recommend going for the large (~$20 all-in) which includes 4 proteins - my go-to is salmon, scallop, and ahi tuna, all of which are quite solid. Most of the toppings are great - but the surimi salad is a bit stringy and dry so maybe skip that one. It is on Broadway right past 36th St and adjacent to the Urban Outfitters so it's a convenient location close by several stations. Worth a try if you are in the area!

My friend and I came on a Friday night. We both were craving poke and just wanted to find some place nearby. Though there were a few people in the restaurant when we arrived, we were served right away. I ordered a medium sized bowl. It was a bit on the pricy side but they really loaded it up with ingredients and toppings. The ingredients were very fresh and yummy. Definitely will be back the next time I'm craving poke.

My first time building my own poke! I ordered online and had no problems. The ingredient lists are simple which is perfect and not overwhelming like some other poke me us in the area. The fish felt fresh and tasted good, and the portions were very generous! The best was that they packaged the rice and the rest of my bowl separately to keep the fish and veggies from getting warm on my walk back. The staff was also kind and helpful, and had my order ready in no time! Definitely coming back.

Just tried this Poke bar pleasantly surprised since it's inside an urban outfitters. I just got the firecracker and the tuna is so yummy!!

Extremely friendly staff. Probably the best tasting pokebowl place I have found in the city so far. Coke exclusive drinks with a pleasant execution of artwork to enjoy eating inside. Prime location around herald square, 10/10 would recommend experiencing this unique spot.

I was in the area today and saw this place. I created my own small bowl (no proteins, just rice, seaweed, cucumbers and fruits, not in the mood for fish). I added the mango which you pay and extra $1. The mango was so hard and didn't have flavor at all. I couldn't eat it. The place is small but ok. Not impressed at all.

If you're looking for a poke bowl, look no further. I got the small 2 protein bowl. It was a decent sized bowl. It is very similar to an assembly line the way they serve you at a salad store like Sweetgreen. You can either opt from the menu or choose your own. I got the scallop and salmon. You can choose 2 sides -- seaweed and imitation crab meat. I got brown rice for the base and almost all the vegetables. They were also very lenient on the sauce you wanted. They mix it for you then put the toppings on top. They dumped the tray that was used for mixing the vegetables and sauce but I personally feel they could just use a bigger bowl or a reusable bowl which would be better for the environment. The proteins were fresh and the vegetables were relatively fresh as well. I would come back again for a poke bowl.

The portion was ridiculous for $15. It's not a meal, it's a snack. I didn't prefer how small the spicy tuna was chopped up, it was mush and not enough spice. There were about about four pieces of salmon and I had to ask for extra cucumber or I would definitely still be hungry afterwards. Their House dressing wasn't anything special and didn't complement the salad. I wasn't given a bag nor asked if I wanted one and since it was small, I put it in my purse. Only to find out later that the lid was not closed properly, and all the dressing at spilled into my purse. The smell still hasn't come out of my purse. I won't be going back.

This place drenches its bowls in mayo, leaving no surface area untouched. I can't tell the flavor of anything because it just tastes like spicy mayo, which may hide how fresh (or not) the fish is.

Keepin it real out here by Herald Sq This one can be easily missed depending on where you're walking in from, it's connected to the Urban Outfitter which i enjoy visiting time to time as well. The service is always good and quick, food it just alright. It's definitely fresh but may be the combination of all the ingredients used aren't the best choice for the main menu items. Still enjoy the convenience of it. Will visit again.

I used to order Pokebar in Herald Square at least once a week. My go to is their fresh salmon and shrimp with extra masago, edamame, and kale. This Pokebar is located in the heart of Herald Square midtown, in an Urban Outfitters next to the Macys department store. There are three sizes of poke boxes and I suggest getting a medium or large since you want more poke protein options and larger poke to rice ratio. The spicy Mayo mixed in is delicious. I prefer salad+rice base but most people order the white rice base only.

This place used to be way better. Today I paid 20 dollars for the large, build your own bowl. The proteins are chopped into the TINIEST pieces and the scoops are so small. The bowl is FULL of rice, so that's what your paying for. Probably inflation but there are better places. You pay the same amount but the amount and quality is better.
