"Newly added is Abunai Poke, a Washington-D.C.-based fast-casual Hawaiian restaurant. Similar to Philly’s Poi Dog (102 S. 21st Street), Abunai started out as a food truck. The menu is all poke: build-your-own bowls and several suggested combos, like the Spicy Salmon with masago, avocado, spring mix, seaweed salad, nori, and chili pepper aioli." - Rachel Vigoda

Google
Delicious bowl of ramen with rich, spicy broth and generous toppings! The shrimp tempura was crispy and the flavors blended perfectly. Side desserts were a sweet bonus. Definitely coming back!

indra gunawan

Google
Delicious and satisfying! The sushi rolls were topped generously with spicy mayo and crispy bits, while the soup was warm, comforting, and full of flavor. The strawberry drink was the perfect sweet touch. Loved the whole meal!

Retno

Google
Tried the cold soba with tempura and it hit the spot. The noodles were fresh and perfectly chewy, paired with crispy tempura and a rich dipping sauce. Clean place and great portion for the price. Will definitely be back!

Google
This shrimp bowl was super fresh and flavorful! The creamy sauce on top added the perfect touch. The drink was sweet and refreshing too , great combo!

Google
Poke Burri had several locations in the Philadelphia area. They never disappoint. Their sushi, sashimi, rolls, and poke are all delicious. They provide fresh sushi in great portions. I ordered the three roll sushi combo, and selected two salmon and tuna rolls, as well as a spicy tuna roll. Each roll was served in slices of eight. Each roll was refreshing and delicious.

Lovina Andriani

Google
Crispy, sweet, and savory! The Gangnam chicken has a perfect sticky glaze with a hint of spice, and it pairs really well with the refreshing Canada Dry. Great combo!

Clariza Macaspac

Google
Never disappoints with the poke bowls and nachos! I also like that the quality is equally good when dining in and ordering. Same with portion size.

Google
Spicy tuna nachos with poke bowl. fresh, flavorful, and satisfying! Perfect mix of crunch, spice, and freshness.

Yelp
I've only ever ordered delivery from this place and it's been awesome every time!!! I've had the sushi, the ramen, and the drinks so far and it's all been very yummy. Took this pic from my recent order. This has become a go-to delivery option for me.

Yelp
Poke and sushi burrito spot close to Jefferson's campus, this spot has a variety of poke bowls, desserts, and ramen. I've tried the Super poke bowl and 1/2 tuna, 1/2 salmon bowls - the fish was fresh but the rice is unflavored plain white rice. A lot of places add sushi vinegar or some other flavoring to their rice which I usually prefer. The one time I tried to order via Doordash, apparently their internet or online order system was down so when I arrived to pick up my order, they had to hand key it in and start preparing it then so it was a bit of a wait. This was annoying because there was no warning or anything that my order hadn't been started so double check if you're in a hurry. The ambiance is casual and there is plenty of seating.

Yelp
I enjoyed the lunch combo! I chose the salmon rolls, takoyaki, and seaweed salad - all three were great for the price. Although, just a note - I ordered through Doordash and it was not registering the time to expect delivery accurately, so I wasn't sure when this lunch was going to be actually delivered... but regardless, the delivery driver came promptly and was super nice. Would recommend this place for a quick and delicious lunch for a decent price. Also recommend if you plan to order delivery!

Yelp
I walked up on this place on accident, but glad that I tripped into this place. The place is small and it's not going to win any beauty contest, but the food is a work of art. I'll be honest, I have no clue what I truly ordered, but I tell you it tasted amazing!!! I walked up to the touch screen and I created some monstrosity that included spicy tuna and a whole lot of other stuff. The beauty is in your imagination. I will say the food was fresh; service was fast and I was

Yelp
I got a poke bowl with spicy salmon that was fresh and packed full of flavor. Staff was super friendly and quick to prepare my order, too! Indoor seating is limited, but there are cute murals inside to admire as you dine! There are several great poke and quick sushi spots around the city-- this is a good option for a fresh lunch on-the-go.

Yelp
We got takeout from Poke Burri and it was overall pretty good. For dinner we grabbed a roll and poke bowl. The former (best of the best roll) was pretty delicious. Nice combination of flavors and textures. The poke bowl itself we probably wouldn't do again because it was really just meh and every ingredient was an extra surcharge-not worth. We also grabbed the 2 for 1 yakisoba noodles with chicken to eat as leftovers in the coming days. These were okay: the noodles themselves were nice but fairly oily and the chicken was super underwhelming to the point where I questioned whether it was actually chicken (vs. tofu). Overall, a pretty expensive option and didn't super live up to what we would expect for such cuisine.

Yelp
Super fresh sushi in great portions. I ordered the choose 3 rolls, and selected two salmon and tuna rolls, as well as a spicy tuna roll. Each roll was served in slices of 8. All rolls were refreshing and delicious. The service was prompt and topped off a great dining experience.

Yelp
I've had this place for takeout more times than I can count now and it's great every time. Prices are decent and the quality of the fish is so much better than other sushi restaurants I've had at the same price point. Delivery is always insanely fast and they were so quick to fix a small error in my delivery address when I notified them. Love the variety in the menu as well. Bonus points for having Thai tea with boba.

Yelp
This was my first visit to Poke Burri, and I opted to try the Everything Sushi Donut ($10.53 with tax) I enjoyed it and thought that the taste of the toppings was up to par with any sushi restaurant that does special rolls like that. The one thing I would note is that - I think not everyone may like the rice. The reason is because, don't expect the type of sushi rice you'd expect in sushi. I believe the reason is because the rice would not hold well into the shape of the donut, so the rice is packed much more. Personally, I like rice cakes and things like that - so the difference didn't bother me. The interior was cute, register staff was friendly, and they have a lot of options like sushi pizza, and build your own ramen. I would be happy to try their other items if I were in the area again

Yelp
During my recent visit to Philadelphia, I stumbled upon Poke Burri and decided to give it a try for lunch. As a ramen enthusiast, I was pleasantly surprised by the affordability of their menu items. Intrigued, I opted for their -UP ramen featuring a flavorful vegetable broth. I was not disappointed - the dish was both delicious and satisfying. This thing was huge!!! Although it's a sit-down place, it's not a very large eatery and you order at the counter. It's not a posh eatery with wait staff. However, my experience at Poke Burri was positive. The food was pretty good!
google avatar

Amber Y.

Yelp
This place is so fun. I've tried the Poke Burrito, the Poke Pizza, and the Poke donuts and they're also such fun spins on a poke bowl. The best part about them is that they're also delicious. There are so many fun things on the menu. I can't wait to keep trying more! It's a fun, quick lunch or dinner option to grab on the go or sit down and eat.
google avatar

Yelp
My favorite little quick Asian fusion spot for to go ramen, poke, and even the sushi is good! Nice expanded menu and the service is great.

Yelp
I had the Super Poke Bowl from Poke Burri last night and it was amazing. I was so full from the poke bowl. The portions were truly huge but what I really liked was the seasoned raw tuna and raw salmon. The fresh, glistening fish and flavors from the seasoning and sauces took me back to Hawaii! WOW! I would totally get this again, and definitely get extra raw fish next time. As for the taiyaki, I was surprised they were deep fried. Taiyaki should be soft but a lil crispy, like a waffle, so I did not like Poke Burri's deep fried, overly greasy version. One thing's for sure though, I will definitely be coming back for more poke!

John Michael S.

Yelp
Ordered the super poke bowl! As good as it was, it was a lot of food! Def get your moneys worth but I didn't want to waste it. Second time ordering and still good! The service was super fast too! I should eat in the restaurant eventually! But a good delivery choice!

Yelp
I had a taste for a Poke Bowl and discovered this establishment on Yelp. The information provided by the Elite Yelp team for this establishment was very useful. Upon entering I met Makenzie who is very knowledgeable of the menu. I informed her of my dietary restrictions (egg & dairy). Mackenzie provided great insight of the menu items. I was considering a menu item that had crab salad, whoever it contains Mayo. I decided on the salmon and tuna sushi burrito without wasabi Mayo. It was still delicious with the sriracha and eel sauce. Gabrielle Yelp Elite, spoke of the donut so I purchased 2 for my son. The presentation was beautiful and my son really enjoyed the sushi donuts. I am looking forward to seeing Mackenzie who is so pleasant and trying additional menu items. My food was so delicious yesterday I ordered delivery (within 2 miles) today. *Crispy Brussel Sprouts with a scrumptious glaze. *Spring Rolls are crispy and delicious * Tuna & Salmon Poke bowl with rice and without spicy mayo.

Yelp
Really really good! - the BEST poke bowl I've eaten Ordered through 3rd party and didn't get the chance to request my sauces on the side. I called poke burri after placing my order to personally make the request and they followed suit. On the topic of the sauces, they are extremely flavorful. I got the ginger miso and the spicy chili peanut. The viscosity of the sauces were perfect, not too watery and not too thick. Fresh fish, fresh produce and even better flavors. Definitely adding this to my dine in list.
google avatar

Yelp
FOOD I ordered a custom salmon bowl with lettuce, spring mix, and cucumber drizzled with spicy mayo and black pepper teriyaki sauces. The amount you get for $12+tax is amazing, especially considering how prices have spiked up everywhere else. The ingredients are fresh. The protein given is numerous, and the sauces mesh well together. SERVICE I received my order within 5 minutes after ordering at the register. The staff was really nice and patient as I decided on what to order. AMBIANCE There are a good number of tables for seating within the restaurant. The decor is modern with murals of Maneki-nekos and Japanese-styled waves. For students/workers nearby at Jefferson/Penn, this place is a one-minute walk from JAH and can therefore be quite dangerous without self-control. PARKING Paid street parking is available in front of the store and nearby.
google avatar

Lauren M.

Yelp
We usually order takeout from here, which always includes either the everything sushi donut or sushi pizza. Both are such fun spins on sushi, as is the sushi burrito, of which I would recommend the black pepper chicken or Kung fu-rrito. We have tried the ramen as well, which is good, but we definitely prefer the other menu items. Any of the drinks are quite refreshing too, my favorite being the Thai tea!
google avatar

Alexander P.

Yelp
Quick to grab an order and go. Deliver via typical delivery apps. Prices are pretty standard. Inside ambiance needs some work IMHO.
google avatar

Yelp
I happen to drive to Philly for leisure and wanted some Ramen. This place popped up with a few others but I knew parking would be easier. I tried it and it was excellent. The chicken Popeye ramen was amazing. I would definitely recommend this place.

Yelp
Lowkey my first time ordering a poke bowl at an actual restaurant this time around and couldn't have asked for a better experience! I ordered a Super Poke Bowl while my girlfriend ordered a custom salmon bowl for a total of ~$37. I gotta say the Super Poke Bowl was delicious. It was loaded with ingredients and was much larger than I had imagined. I really enjoyed every bite of avocado, edamame, spicy mayo, and protein as they meshed the flavor of the poke bowl together and diversified the texture of the bowl. The amount of protein they give you is also unbeatable (justifiably so for $17) for any poke bowl I have ever had in the past. The flavor of the protein is what you would expect, but what is more shocking is the flavor of the rice. The rice has a bland taste and is quite hard and dry imo. It didn't mesh well together like normally cooked rice as I could taste and even feel individual grains of rice separating in my mouth. But this was my experience, and yours could be different! Another must try in Philly if you crave something clean and fresh!
google avatar

Jen L.

Yelp
Decent but smaller than you'd expect. I got the combo sushi donut and it was maybe the size of my fist but a little larger. The sashimi is veryyy thinly sliced. It's not a lot of fish at all. The sauce is also pretty overwhelming for the amount of fish per donut. However, the saving grace is the rice. The rice was slightly sticky, sweet, and mixed in with the furikake seasoning. I could have eaten the rice for days and was pleasantly surprised it wasn't just white rice. Ultimately, a decent stop for a quick snack but order more bc the pictures look bigger than it is!
google avatar

Jackie W.

Yelp
I ordered the super poke bowl for about $18 and the spicy tuna nachos for about $8 online through Grubhub. I like that it came with a variety of toppings like cucumbers, beets, avocados, cabbage, seaweed salad, and pickled ginger. I also thought that the portion was large but that the ratios are off. There was a lot more rice and sauce than fish and other toppings. The nachos were tasty and were a nice additional appetizer. Edit: the owner reached out to me that she is taking note of my feedback on ratios and I appreciate that she takes time to read reviews and improve the overall experience!

Yelp
While I have yet to stop by in person, I have heard such great things about these donuts and had to try one myself. I took a look at their Yelp page and realized you could order delivery right there so I took advantage of the opportunity and placed an order for lunch. Some people know that I am secretly picky... so I opted for the Vegetable Donut and the Miso and Ginger Salad with added Grilled Chicken. My order arrived early (always a plus) and wow was it delicious. I was worried that the donut would feel like eating a lot of plain rice, but it was sticky and slightly sweet with the avocado, seaweed and what looked like ginger dressing on top. The ingredients tasted very fresh too. The salad was a small side salad and the dressing was delicious. I'm a huge fan of good ginger dressing and this one was up there among my favorites. The grilled chicken portion was generous and cooked perfectly. I would HIGHLY recommend trying Poke Burri for takeout!
google avatar

Chris S.

Yelp
$20 for super poke bowl. No soy sauce given. Way too much mayo that almost made everything taste sweet? Better off getting a 3 roll combo elsewhere for lunch. Usually sushi feels refreshing and healthy. This did not..
google avatar

Yelen P.

Yelp
Got the super poke bowl. It was good, seems a bit pricy at $17. Other people got poke burritos, which they liked.
google avatar

Jenny G.

Yelp
We built our own poke bowls and they were a great size - large portions! Both the spicy tuna and rice were well seasoned. The avocado was $0.50 extra, but the additional charge wasn't listed on the menu.

Sam M.

Yelp
Ordering through uber eats is a waste of time and money. They use a second rate courier system to save costs I imagine which will repeatedly tell you the order is cancelled. Upon calling this isn't the case but it leads to a lot of confusion and inaccuracies. They come way later than the estimated time and when inquiring over the phone I've been lied to about the status of my order. Them using Relay instead of Uber eats by itself has led to many unpleasant and disappointing experiences and this is an issue that has persisted for a year perhaps. Avoid!
google avatar

Laurie M.

Yelp
Poke Buri is my go to for order out poke bowls. You can order on line at yelp which I do then pick up. They have a lot of options the price is great. The Poke Burri gives you lots of protein too which each bowl. I have never eaten in house but I have had excellent service with my take out orders. When I get home and sit down to enjoy my poke bowl everything is like I ordered it
google avatar

Retna S.

Yelp
If you want some dessert, I suggest taiyaki. This dessert has a form of a fish filled with red bean then deep fried. Crunchy on the outside and served with whipped cream and chocolate syrup
google avatar

Giovanni L.

Yelp
I was right across the bridge in NJ for work and I saw Poke Burri on Yelp and it really caught my eye. I saw the great reviews and was in the mood for some poke. I took a look at their menu and saw the plenty of options that they had. The even had a "tuna donut" which was a very interesting take on a sushi roll. It is essentially a round sushi roll. I went to pick up the food and the staff was extremely helpful and barely had to wait any time for my food. The sauce in my super poke bowl was something out of this world and not something you encounter at every poke place. I will be coming back when I am in the area again.
google avatar

Yelp
Came across this place by accident while biking through the city - absolutely enthralled I did!! The workers were so kind, the food was a hefty portion (with an equally hefty amount of flavor), and the two tables out front are great to sit at while eating on a pleasantly bustling street to enjoy the weather. Will def go back! I recommend the salmon with ginger miso dressing, and beets as a vegetable. Soooo yummy.
google avatar

Andrew T.

Yelp
This is such an a amazing restaurant. Food is so good. I've been here 3 times now and each time I'm finding more things to try. Things I've gotten are: 1. Spicy Tuna Nachos 2. Fried Brussels Sprouts 3. Super Bowl 4. Half/Half Bowl (salmon and tuna) 5. Salmon Donut 6. Tokyo Fries 7. Classic Miso Ramen 8. Crab Salad Crunch 9. Everything Donut And to be very honest, I recommend all of the above except the Brussels sprouts and the Salmon Donut. The donut is just a lot of rice but I guess it's for the Instagram picture and the Brussels sprouts are alright. Other than that, I would highly recommend the rest. This will definitely be my new go to place for poke bowls and ramen!!!
google avatar

Shivana D.

Yelp
Visited Philly last month and wanted to try this place because their IG is so appealing! The food is fresh and the portions are generous. They do have some indoor seating, which we opted for as the restaurant wasn't crowded and it was cold out. But the staff doesn't seem to clean the tables after each guest, which wasn't too great - especially in the middle of a pandemic. But we were careful to keep everything from touching the table itself while eating. We ordered the secret menu sushi pizza and boy oh boy it was packed with fresh fish! Definitely no skimping out there. We had the black pepper chicken sushi burrito, and that was good but a little dry and not well wrapped because it fell apart while eating. The seaweed also wasn't super fresh. The sushi donut was my favorite, because the added sauces made everything much more flavorful. The prices are also super reasonable for the portions of sushi you get!
google avatar

Annie C.

Yelp
Convenient to order via website, on apps (chow now) and just over the phone. They have a $5 off 30 till the end of March for phone in orders that's tucked away on their menu graphics. We got the Kungfu ritto, Demogorgon roll, and the dumplings. Everything was well packed and I love that they used paper containers which are way more environmentally friendly. Great to have a poke place close for lunch/dinners!
google avatar

Miranda W.

Yelp
Lucky enough to visit their food truck at the Christmas village on a visit to Philly and I STILL talk about the life changing experience of the poke corndog I had here. I went back to that village twice on foot on my vacation to order one. How can you describe it other than warm, gooey, tasty, and phenomenal? The bean fish as a dessert was the 'cherry' on top of an amazing meal!
google avatar

Gaby R.

Yelp
This is my go-to delivery restaurant - I can't even count how many times I've ordered from here. It's always consistently good. Some of my favorites: - build your own ramen - sushi pizza - sushi donuts - veggie spring rolls - crab rangoon - poke bowls / sushi burritos - dragon fruit lemonade All have been so good every single time, cannot recommend here enough.
google avatar

Javed M.

Yelp
Still one of my favorite Ramen spots because they have such a colorful menu and everything taste incredible. I will recommend the Dino balls, Brussel sprouts, and Popeyes favorite Ramen.
google avatar

Henry N.

Yelp
Order for delivery: Got the poke donuts and the dynamite bowl. Everything wasn't edible. As a chef who use too do sushi the tuna for the bowl was so spicy and had so much jalapeño and what I think is Sriracha where is made it too spicy. The donuts it stuff lack the flavor and had the same issues as the bowl. Had too much sauce and spicy too them. And at the end as well the rice was hard. Had that feeling and taste like the sushi that you get at the shopper market that was already made for you. I try not to write bad reviews but I couldn't eat everything. Had to trash most of my food. I try to finish it but couldn't
google avatar

Max H.

Yelp
Broth was delicious, as well as the toppings. Only thing that was left slightly to be desired was the noodles, although maybe that's just my taste but I've definitely had better before. But most importantly the flavor was there!! And they have gooood chili oil :)
google avatar

Wayne W.

Yelp
Honestly the best poke place I have been too hands down. Now disclaimer I have not had a ton of poke in my lifetime so my scope on the best may not be as extensive as others. Service is always great and the ambiance is a cute little ramen place with poke and places to sit. Absolutely a recommend if you are in the area and their online ordering was a breeze.
google avatar

William M.

Yelp
Scratches an itch, but this is by no means good sushi or poke. They've created unique concepts like the sushi donut which are fun, but ultimately the rice is like a hockey puck. If they can fuse quality of a flavorful rice at the right texture and lightness with even higher quality fish than they're offering now - this could be the sushi chain everyone wants to eat at. Can easily imagine this place going international if they get the quality up.

Yelp
What a Fantastic stop this was. Me and my Girlfriend stopped in to check out the Newest Poke, Ramen spot in Center City. We were thoroughly impressed with everything. The Raman was tasty as Hell and so fulfilling. We also had a couple of Sushi donuts, both were Excellent. The staff was professional and courteous and very helpful with exploring the menu. My favorite was the Tokyo Fries which were on Special. The restaurant and dining area were very clean. The kitchen looked very well kept also. The decor was very nice with some painted murals that were really cool. This was a very comfortable spot and we cant wait to go back.

Yelp
Came by with a friend for lunch on a Wednesday! They do have indoor dining available and we were the only ones eating inside the restaurant. We decided to split the vegetarian spring rolls, the spicy tuna sushi burrito, and the everything sushi donut. The spring rolls were perfectly crispy on the outside and warm on the inside. My favorite was the spicy tuna sushi burrito. The tuna tasted fresh and was flavorful. It was also filled with a variety of veggies and sauces which I loved. I would definitely get this again. The sushi donut was cute and very instagram worthy! But I wasn't a big fan of the everything as I felt there were too many flavors going on. I also think the fish to rice ratio was off in the donut form. So I much preferred the burrito over the donut! The restaurant itself is very small, but it's clean and well decorated. The service was great and all the staff were so nice! COVID-wise, all the staff were wearing masks. Overall, loved this place and will definitely be returning!
google avatar

Tina L.

Yelp
I had this place two times including this time and it has been great both times. My all time favorite is the sushi burger. I dream about this burger. It is so good. I am definitely ordering it again. The rice is so crispy and tasty. It works out so well. The Philly roll version of the sushi burrito is so tasty. The everything donut is amazing! I am in love. The sushi pizza was super good. I enjoyed this place so much.
google avatar

Kaela H.

Yelp
This place is actually to die for! I got it delivered and the taste and portion are amazing!
google avatar

Judy L.

Yelp
I got the Super Poke bowl and it was delicious! It was stuffed with tuna, salmon, and crab with delicious cabbage, lettuce, and edamame to add a deliciously fresh crunch. Finally the seaweed salad and pickled ginger added a great tangy/sweet contrast. Overall, very delicious and filling bowl. The only way to make this bowl better would be a vinegary rice like in a chirashi. That would elevate the whole bowl, in my opinion.
google avatar

Solomon D.

Yelp
Only problems with this place is that everything on the menu sounds great and the portions are too big? People who take your order and bring the food out are super nice. She warned us the crab arancini will be a while, and it only took about 3 min and she was super apologetic. We were fine with this as they were clearly freshly made and piping hot. Nice and crispy on the outside and quite delicious. And a very nice helping of 4 arancini. I also got the super poke bowl (I believe that's what it was called?) SO MUCH FOOD. Displayed very nicely with a generous helping of two types of fish, veggies, and their spicy mayo sauce. Fresh and delicious. Prices were pretty reasonable for what these things run at most places and the quality seemed great. Really wish I had enough space to try the pizza, noodles, or any of their other interesting takes on sushi. Will be back for sure!
google avatar

Yelp
A small poke place with good quality bowls. I found a deal through an app, but will definitely return here because I thought the ingredients were fresh and well seasoned. Service was polite/friendly too, which is always a plus!
