Atlanta-Born Poke Burri Brings Sushi ‘Donuts’ to Center City | Eater Philly

"On opening day I checked out the new two-part Asian destination in Center City at 255 S. 10th Street that brings together Poke Burri and Lifting Noodles; the brand began inside an Atlanta food hall in 2016 and has since expanded to Jacksonville, Tampa, Raleigh, and Houston. Poke Burri builds poke bowls and sushi burritos using fresh salmon, tuna, shrimp tempura, crab salad, and crispy tofu, and its “everything” sushi donuts feature all fish at once. The Lifting Noodles side offers a parallel row of ramen choices, including a classic tonkotsu with pork belly and black mushroom and a “Popeye’s Favorite” with spinach swimming in a creamy chicken broth; diners can also build their own sushi rolls or ramen bowls from a long ingredient list.
