Google
My son wanted some Bubble tea. So we went here since it was close. We got the Oreo Boba Milk teas. And they were so disgusting. Why would they put Oreos in just tea with out atleast adding crushed ice into it. Most Orea Boba drinks are made similar to a Frappe or a milk shake. Poke Poke really needs to change this drink or take it off of their menu completely. The Oreo Milk Bubble tea, to be exact. I'm definitely going to go back and try those delicious looking bowels that they were making for other customers.

Google
place is good, but here are some tips: ALWAYS have extra rice or cabbage/spring mix on hand because no matter how you order it, they will NOT put sauce on the side and they use SO SO SO MUCH. these bowls are like 70% sauce with some ingredients floating in it. it's genuinely too much. the best thing to do I guess is pay for an extra side of sauce and tell them none on the actual bowl itself, it's the only thing I've found that works, but you have to pay extra. and also, best to go closer to the weekend, rather than beginning of week. according to the orders I've enjoyed, they seem to get weekly deliveries and then the freshness rapidly declines. Like, noticeable stink. That said, when it hits, it hits

Google
Loved it! The food was fresh and delicious, the place was clean and bright, and the service was excellent. The guy who took care of us on January 8th was so friendly and helpful. He treated us so well. Letting us sample the new sauces and engaging in conversation that was way beyond the basic questions when building a bowl. Thank you!

Love this place! The staff were super friendly, Amira was so kind and I’m excited to eat this delicious meal 🤤

Google
Such a delightful treat. I love this place. Food is always fresh and service always great.. The service is great, and the establishment is clean. The price is reasonable. I will always be a customer. Make sure download the app and get points and coupons

Google
I ordered 3 different drinks from there , through the Grubhub , I found Hair inside of the cup. It’s very cheap quality so before you order anything think again.

Google
Placed an order on their app, card was charged, never received my food. Tried calling for refund, allegedly no manager on site. Four days later still waiting on a call to discuss my refund 🤦🏽‍♀️😡. This used to be my spot to get my Poke fix, never again will I be ordering from here since this is the 3rd time this has happened.

Google
Excellent service and very respectable business. Good portions sizes, the owner gave a complimentary seaweed salad that I insisted on paying for. Best Poke Poke I’ve been too 🧿

Yelp
I've come many times and will CONTINUE to come many times! If you are new to poke bowls, think of them as deconstructed sushi bowls. Ambiance: clean and cute. Nothing too special but they always keep this place clean which I appreciate. Service: I've NEVER had a bad experience here. Staff is always helpful and knowledgeable. Food: pretty consistent. Fresh. Love the different sauces options for toppings though I wish they would go back to thinner watermelon radish. I love to customize my bowl ( best to do in person vs. Ubereats or DoorDash). I always walk away a happy camper.

Yelp
This will be my go to poke bowl place!! The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I made my own bowl and the fish was so fresh and all the topping was great quality. Love the portion size they used . I also got the miso soup and it wasn't too salty or plain and tasted great !! The spicy crab salad was delightful. I also ordered the boba tea and it was yummy! Overall I highly recommend . They made my food super fast and everyone was nice !

Yelp
I got a build your own bowl with tuna and spicy tuna and .... WOW !!!! This was one of the best poke bowls I've had. The price was great, the ingredients were fresh, and it was soo tasty. They have non fish items like chicken if you don't do seafood. The service was great but it was dead inside. I was the only person there, which I don't mind. I know they do a decent amount of Uber eats orders, so take the deadness with a gain of salt- fish is still fresh

Yelp
Our team loves when we get Poke Poke at the office. I order through ezcater and it's always on time and yummy. The only reason for 1 less star is that their portions don't seem to be consistent - I'm hoping I order the right amount next time as the first time there was too much leftover and the second time not quite enough. This isn't really the kind of food that sits well, so it's important to get the portions right. The food is fresh and yummy - our favorites are chicken and salmon - the salmon was nice and fresh and did not look grainy or smell fishy at all. I wasn't that impressed with the shrimp, but my office mates said they enjoyed it. I love all the different toppings you get and the sauces are freshly made. It's a great healthy option to offer at work and people are always happy. We'll be frequent catering customers for sure.

Yelp
This is a chain poke restaurant and pretty standard with offering pre-made bowl "favorites" or building your own. I've been in here 2 different times and the staff has been great both visits and is always very friendly. My first visit here I met the owner, John, and had an overall great visit and got to hear out a lot of recommendations. At the time, heard that the store is looking to hopefully start serving ice cream in summer months! My most recent visit was a pretty long wait for food (and boba) but it was very busy and appeared short-staffed. Bowls and boba here are pretty decent - not the best I've had but hits the craving for poke. One perk of this poke place is that there is a boba bar in the front of the restaurant!

Yelp
Poke Poke is a great food spot to check out in Detroit. The restaurant typically has seating available, the lines moves quickly, and the workers are very kind. The food itself always tastes fresh and there are plenty of options to either customize your own bowls or select popular options from the menu. The prices are also great, so it's a good one to have in the regular rotation. I love this place as a healthy eating out option, as it's typically hard to find places that you can have healthy meals at. It's also a great alternative to just regular sushi. I would definitely recommend stopping by Poke Poke if you're in the mood for a fun take on sushi and the ability to customize a healthy meal for yourself and a reasonable price.

Yelp
Fabulous healthful lunch choice in a busy urban area! My co-worker and I are sorta foodies. We had been eyeing Poke Poke since it opened as we work across the street; finally we made it over. As we took our first bites, we gave one another a look as if to say "Why in the world did we take so long to try this place!" I was sold on the menu as I perused it online. Fresh choices of some of my favorite sushi ingredients. When we walked in, I was impressed. I immediately forgot that I was in this busy hub of the city and was impressed by the clean fresh atmosphere. We were greeted warmly before we even reached the counter. We filed in the short line as we conversed with the staff. We informed them that this was our first visit; and were given a guided tour of the menu. We both decided on signature bowls instead of creating our own. I chose the Spider Bowl and he ordered the Rainbow bowl. I ordered the small bowl at $11, and was glad that I did as any more food would have been too heavy for the middle of a work day. The small build your own bowls are $10; the large $13. Base options for the bowls are brown rice, white rice or spring mix. The brown rice was good and fluffy. The bowls are topped with a scoop of protein. Choices include: ahi tuna, spicy tuna, shrimp, tofu, ahimi and a few others. Then your choice of veggies and fruit. Watermelon radish, corn, avocado, blue berries, carrot, cabbage, edamame, mango, etc. I really liked the preparation of the seaweed. My bowl was topped with spicy mayo, I also added wasabi soy, which was super yummy. They also offer miso soup, ginger salad, a host of drink choices and a few other meal choices. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the food and will definitely return often.

Yelp
B the bubble tea boss is back. This review is really just for the side of the house called Bubble Bar which is owned and operated by Poke Poke. I debated whether or not to make it its own business on Yelp, but the owner said that they own both and since employees go back and forth, I figured I'd just post on this page. The bubble tea was a solid win. The bubble tea wasn't overly sweet, and the tapioca was a great consistency. The milk tea felt like the classic original delivered well while the honeydew was earned some solid reviews. I was really curious about their sparkling bubble teas. I'll have to go back again another time and try them again. But I was happily pleased and impressed with my first bubble tea adventure here. Now I need to get some Poke too.

Samantha B.

Yelp
It's good but not as good as actual sushi unless you like it in an open bowl, can't get tempura options here , overall tasty though.

Yelp
The worker recommended the most popular drink the Taro. I accepted to taste it and I wasn't disappointed. It's a purple looking drink and it honestly tasted a little like the fruity coco crispy cereal. It's definitely sweet but delicious. I didn't get it with regular milk, but with almond and it was still sweet and didn't have a weird taste. The second drink was a "make your own" it and a Lemonade base with a strawberry flavor and the pomegranate bubbles. It was refreshing and perfect for the summer. Definitely a good recommendation for someone who wants a summer drink and likes lemonades. It wasn't overly sour due to it being sweet too.

Yelp
Messed up my order by not including seaweed salad or avocado, both items i had to pay extra for. Spoke with them over facebook, said they wanted to rectify but they never contacted me, it's been 2 months. See attached image. Poke itself was subpar, paid a lot more than i expected for the amount of food i got. quality isn't bad but quantity is.

Yelp
I was not sure what to expect when trying this place, it it was absolutely delicious. Ordered the California crunch with crab and shrimp. Flavors were on point and portion size even for a small was a lot. I would not order a large unless I'm sharing. If you do not care for spicy I'd ask that they put the spicy mayo on the side.
google avatar

Yelp
Our intention was to go to the "other" newly opened Poke restaurant in the area, but it is temporarily closed. Hmm...Anyway we are so glad we found Poke Poke on Yelp. I had the regular sized California Crunch Bowl and spicy crab salad and really liked them. The owner (I think) was very nice and even came to our table to check on us. On the way out, we noticed the Boba Bar is part of the restaurant. If I had known this beforehand, I would have ordered a Boba tea instead of having the Kombucha. Good info to have for next time.

Yelp
Best poke spot in the area! Not a difficult race to win considering it's the only poke spot in the area... but I am so glad they opened a location here in Detroit. It is everything you'd want in a poke restaurant plus some. The ingredients are all fresh and flavorful, the atmosphere is bright and modern, and the employees are extremely kind and knowledgeable. Pro tips: There are a couple of parking spots right outside the back door of the restaurant & they have free WiFi Whats in the bowl? White rice, spring mix, Hawaiian salmon, spicy tuna, corn, edamame, watermelon radish, carrot, jalapeño, cucumber drenched with spicy mayo and sesame ginger sauces and then topped with ginger, masago, furikake, sesame seeds, and nori strips.
google avatar

Jessica K.

Yelp
Build your own poke bowl, kind of like chipotle but for poke. I got the california crunch bowl with added eel sauce, and everything seemed fresh and well prepared. Be warned: it's really filling. I'm glad I didn't get a large bowl or a side because we were barely able to finish our regular orders. They have chicken options etc, but were I more allergic to seafood, I would avoid it just in case - it seems like everything is stored pretty close to one another and I would worry about accidental cross contamination. The bubble tea place inside is very cute. Pretty basic but I found it to be slightly more affordable than the other options nearby. (Disclaimer: we went here during the free bubble tea promotion when their attached drink bar opened, and did not pay for our drinks.) I had a "sparkling passion fruit tea" with mango stars, which was good if a touch on the sweet side. My partner's taro tea was well balanced and the bubbles were well cooked.

Yelp
My team has ordered from Poke Poke twice now and the food has been excellent. I coordinated the most recent lunch order, and was very impressed with the personable and friendly coordination, their flexibility on adjusting details of the order, and the helpfulness and patience of the delivery driver. Will absolutely order from Poke Poke in the future.

Yelp
Clean, friendly, fast service. New place downtown that I hit for lunch with a co-worker after finding out it existed- yesterday... Instead of constructing a bowl- which is made easy and simple by the #s- I opted for the dynamite bowl. It had ahi tuna and shrimp with veggies, carrots, jalapeños, sweet and spicy sauce with sesame seeds over rice. It was great! A bit spicy and next time no jalapeños for me- maybe sauce on side or I will venture to construct. They do have kombucha (squee) and other great drink choices. Back and front entrance- maybe parking free out back? But you have to enter complex through Woodward. Co worker happy but hers also a bit spicy for her (jalapeños- fresh and chopped small). They have a rewards card that generates points and appears they also deliver downtown. Surprised it was slow but beginning to holiday weekend so...
google avatar

Kassy K.

Yelp
Ordered carry out from this place and thought it was just okay. The cost is kind of pricey and I think the quality could be better honestly. And their build your own is limited in the amount of things you can add (at least when you order online). Most added items come at an up charge when most places I've been to in the past include as many toppings (minus avocado) as you'd like. Okay if you want to get your poke fixing but probably wouldn't recommend it to anyone
google avatar

Clare S.

Yelp
Hmm .. the bowl was mediocre, but I'd go again since it's the only poke place in Detroit. If you don't like all the toppings mixed for you, you should ask in advance.
google avatar

Gail Marie J.

Yelp
Always fresh, always tasty! I never go wrong going to Poke Poke. This is such a great option for a healthy and filling lunch. My food is consistently delicious and fresh. You can tell they use higher grade produce, than other casual lunch spots may. Forever a Poke Poke fan!
google avatar

Victoria G.

Yelp
Amaziiin. I don't normally post o yelp, but when a restaurant bribes me to, I have no choice
google avatar

Jewel R.

Yelp
Honestly I love Poke but this was worst bowl I ever had and I got the California crunch bowl with shrimp and crab. The crab was just weird tasting the shrimp was off and I turned over the avocado to find out it was bad. I did a pick up order the guy was really nice but but unfortunately my experience with this place was not a good one and all the reviews were so good too save ya coin because this wasn't worth it for me. But the presentation was beautiful as well but the avocado was bad.
google avatar

Daniel C.

Yelp
Very friendly owner. The establishment itself is very clean and well kept. All the ingredients taste fresh as well, with a good variety to select from. I really enjoyed the salmon and crab, in addition to the gochujang sauce (highly recommend getting this). The prices are reasonable, considering the generous portions that you get. The customization of each bowl is very nice (subway style) and you can add exactly what you'd like. The flavors all mesh well together. Again, I highly recommend the gochujang sauce!!
google avatar

Victoria W.

Yelp
Excellent! Fresh ingredients and nice portion size. I'll def be back! The order process was easy and service was quality

Yelp
Really good selection, welcoming staff, tasty food, and cute/trendy decor!! Will definitely come back when i come to Michigan!

Yelp
My boyfriend has been to a few poke restaurants and was excited to take me, and we were both super happy with our visit. Unfortunately, we both forgot to take pictures of our food, there aren't many for this place yet, but we're very excited to go back and will follow up with our delicious meals and tea! Which is also one of the best parts! Not sure only is the poke delicious with tons of ingredient options to create infinitely many delectable bowls, but they serve super tasty boba! Thankfully our server was very patient, polite, and friendly and helped and helped us to decide on our boba beverage combination and it was the best I've had. She also popped over for the poke (which is in a separate area of the restaurant) and helped us there, too. All this to say, we cannot wait to go back! Many times over. I used to be a sushi lover, but now I think it's me and poke for life.
google avatar

K B.

Yelp
I ordered the taro milk tea, it was AWFUL. I buy them all the time from Tou & Mai and Detroit Bubble Tea, and they always taste the same. The one at this company is purple with that nasty, gritty, powdery taste. It tastes like medicine or eating that Flinstones vitamin hard candy, with same powder in you mouth. No matter how many times I stirred it, the powder remained. Very disappointed at poor quality beverage. However, my ordering experience was easy, fast, and there was a discount code for 25% off. Thank God! I would've really been upset spending the initial over $5 for this. Do better guys.
google avatar

Dustin H.

Yelp
Never had Poke before... man I was missing out! I honestly may go back today for lunch. The options for create your own bowl were awesome and diverse. If you are a sushi person like me and haven't tried this, you need to get on board. If you are having a tough time with social distancing, order some Poke... and everything will be oke!
google avatar

Thai I.

Yelp
I had a bowl delivered, and the rice was extremely hard. If you were to scoop a spoonful out and throw it on the table, it would sound like tiny rocks. Miso soup tasted just like water and the essence of tofu.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is amazing on so many levels. Let's first talk about the food. FRESH & FULL OF TASTE! So delicious and refreshing to eat something different than home cooked meal during this time (Coronavirus Pandemic). We called ahead to make sure they were following proper procedure on staying sanitized according to the CDC. The manager Jon ensured me they were following all proper precautions. He was amazing and made me feel comfortable to order out. Not only was he kind over the phone but he also brought our food out to our car with gloves on and properly distance himself to transfer the food to me. THANK YOU JON! You're amazing along with the food tasting delicious. Very grateful for you and this establishment! It's great to have a place like this, that's still catering to the community during a time like this.

Mia C.

Yelp
Fresh and delicious! Kind workers! All the food is good and prepared to order. Tuna, salmon, shrimp, crab.

Yelp
Some family members mentioned Poké Poké to me a few weeks ago so when I saw that it was coming to Midtown, I was excited to give it a try. Any healthy fast food is a welcome addition to Detroit's food scene as they are few and far between. The decor was bright and clean. Stark white walls with splashes of green. I was welcomed with a smile and "Thanks for coming in." The young man who greeted me inquired if I had been to a Poké Poké before and when I responded that I had not, he came from behind the register and explained the menu thoroughly. Another young man started putting my order together and gave me suggestions on toppings for my "create your own" bowl. The icing on the cake as it relates to customer service came next. I had my 7 month old on my hip as I ordered so after I paid and they packaged my items, which included 2 Poké bowls and 2 bowls of soup, the young man who made my bowls, ask me if it was ok if he helped me to the car. I thought that was very kind of him. Now to the bowls. They were beautiful with all of the colors that the various toppings, veggies and sauces provide. My bowl was very flavorful, with ahi tuna, spicy tuna and a salmon tat had a Hawaiian flavor. You have the option of making your bowl Keto/low carb by skipping the rice and putting Spring mix in its place. You can also substitute vegetarian options, like tofu for the fish. All in all, I was very pleased with my experience and will return soon.
google avatar

Reneh G.

Yelp
I have come here multiple times when the place first opened up as I worked next door and my experience is great every time. I walked from campus around 11:00 am and was the only customer at the time. I created my own Large bowl and with salmon, tuna, and imitation crab. I ordered white rice and all the veggies with soy wasabi. The portion is more than enough for the price you pay $10-$14. You could certainly share a Large for two small/average sized eaters. I also walked further down the restaurant to a cute little bubble tea area. Simple drink menu but satisfying. I ordered the black milk tea with boba and the owner John was happy to add more sugar as it wasn't sweet enough for me. The workers are very nice and sweet people and I will be back again!
google avatar

Alex G.

Yelp
I'm originally from the NYC area, so I judge things a bit harshly. I must say I was impressed with the variety, the cleanliness, and the service. I got a large poke bowl, and they don't skimp on anything. Everything looked freshly prepared, and when I ate it, it tasted amazing. I'll definitely be back, and I suggest anyone interested in a good pome bowl downtown head here.
google avatar

Karen H.

Yelp
When eating raw fish, freshness is the number one priority, and after tasting the fresh food, seeing the clean space, and watching the staff's attention to detail, I 100% trust this place. No concerns at all about the quality of food. Having so many options and the Subway-esque line where you can add as much as you'd like is a great idea. I love that they give you half of an avocado (and they don't skimp on anything else either). The staff was SO nice, making sure we had everything we needed and made us feel like a priority.
google avatar

Derek H.

Yelp
Fresh ingredients. Fast service. Delicious Poke! If you haven't had a chance to stop in, you definitely need to.
google avatar

Deba H.

Yelp
This is Tuna Lovers added Hawaiian Salmon Bowl was soooooo good. I ordered it to go, and was glad I stayed to enjoy. The only let down, I didn't get the large,

Leane K.

Yelp
The food here is always good and reliable. Very good and quick service. A place I always can count on.

Tamara B.

Yelp
I gave it all stars because of the workers. our server made it the best fast food experience. when I came in everything was clean, he was promptly waiting to take our order. He offered extras to our order and made our boba drinks. excellent!!!

Charlene Y.

Yelp
Convenient location, quick service, and friendly staff. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a quick and healthy place to eat :)
google avatar

Rhea B.

Yelp
Their poke bowls are amazing and I love being able to create my own bowl. I moved from the west coast and it was hard to find a good milk tea around Detroit but Poke Poke have the best boba milk tea. They also have friendly staff and wonderful customer service.
google avatar

Natalia E.

Yelp
I was craving sushi today but I did not feel like waiting for it to be made. I needed something that I could just grab-and-go before heading to the library and studying. This was the PERFECT choice. Poké Poké is basically a "Subway/Chipotle" style restaurant where you can pick what you want in your bowl. If you can't decide, just look at the menu because they have different bowl ideas that you could choose from. I usually get the Spider bowl, but I guess they discontinued it. It was not a problem because I just did the "create your own" bowl and put what the Spider bowl had in it (with my own twist of course). My bowl consisted of light brown rice, cucumber, corn, crab, onion flakes, an avocado, and EXTRA EXTRA spicy mayo. Not only was the food great and fresh but the customer service was awesome. They also have a mini boba tea shop when you first walk in which I definitely must try. I not only got what I was craving (sushi) but I got it in a timely manner. I will definitely be back for more!!
google avatar

Jordan Z.

Yelp
Brand new shop in Midtown with a product that nobody else is offering. The food is excellent and the staff were super friendly and helpful. On top of that, I only paid about $28 (including tax and tip) for 2 giant bowls of food and an ice tea. This will definitely be on my list of go to spots for a quick meal.
google avatar

Kara S.

Yelp
This place is awesome the fish is always fresh, the flavor is amazing and they even have vegan options! The staff is always super nice and welcoming. I go here weekly!
google avatar

Jane W.

Yelp
Everything's great but be forewarned their seasonal fruit rn is canned mandarin orange..

Alicia T.

Yelp
So good! The gentleman who waited on us was very nice and helpful. It was my husband and my first time here and we would definitely come back. I made my own bowl and my husband got the California Crunch, both were delicious!
google avatar

Marzia C.

Yelp
My coworkers and I usually stop by here and I pick up from here all the time. They're always pretty prompt and always greet you when you walk in the door. I always get the spicy tuna crunch bowl - so if you're craving something spicy I'd recommend that, but they have ton of other options as well. They also have a wide variety of drinks to choose from. Parking isn't always available so if you're in the midtown area/ nearby I'd suggest walking over.
google avatar

Jennifer H.

Yelp
Since it's the only poke place around, it'll have to do for now, but it's not great. The spicy tuna is bad and tastes like miracle whip. The salmon and ahi tuna is a bit better. The vegetables are cut very large so each bite ends up tasting entirely like raw onion or whatever other vegetable that's in the bowl. I hope another better poke place opens soon. Kaku in Birmingham is really good

Miranda M.

Yelp
Best food!!! Arman was the best and was very patient with me as a first timer!! Thank you!
