Jerry was absolutely fantastic! He provided incredibly fast service and kept us entertained with his friendly chatter, making the wait feel like no time at all. As a first-timer, I really appreciated him introducing us to the menu. I highly recommend visiting and asking for Jerry! ( He the goat 🐐!!!)

Omg! I usually don't have much faith in Poke bowls but this was amazing. Fresh ingredients, super delicious. Chloe was super helpful in choosing and offering samples. 10/10 I'll be back!

Very Good food, I got a poke burrito everything tasted handmade and fresh, very nice owner. Walked me through the options and was very patient. The only thing I didn’t like was how they were kind of slow because there was only 1 person working the food. Overall very fun experience food was amazing all of my friends wanted some.❤️🙌👍🏆🥇🏆

They regularly introduce new items every quarter. If you’re not a fan of raw fish, they can lightly sear it with a torch for you：）

Delicious pokebowls. Sometimes poke can be a hit or miss. But based on the reviews, I hoped it would be a hit. Thankfully, all the reviews described this place very well. The seafood was fresh and even with all the toppings you added my pokebowl was not salty (as it can easily happen). It was well balanced with flavors, and lots of protein, and was well portioned (rice, vegetables, and protein). I very much enjoyed dinner! And the next time we visit Katy will definitely stop by here again.

I think it's just one protein too short. Other than that competitively price I would go to other places tho that have 3 instead of two protein for the price I paid

Great poke just like the Heights location. The seating area at this location looks a lot better too. Great decor, rood and nice staff.

Sadly, phone did not snag a picture before the first bite. Food felt fresh, clean, and a great amount for a two protein! Half salad/half rice with double salmon and every free side item is the move! Cheers!

Pokeworks is typically great. But this location, at least when ordering delivery, has gotten my order wrong 3 out of 3 times. Very disappointing.

This is the second time that I've ordered door dash and opened my bowl to find hard, clumpy rice. What's going on? When I go inside the service is always BLAH but I overlook it because the bowls are really good. But not the last two times that I ordered via DoorDash. Very disappointing.

The food was delicious and the place was clean too, but the service was a little slow. The miso soup had to flavor, it tasted like water with tofu and chives.

I can't believe I have to write this review, but it's a must based on the principle of it all. It's been a week, and I've yet to receive a call back or even an apology from the manager. On my recent visit, a key ingredient was missing from my to-go order. Yes, I should have checked, but the employee assured me it was correct when they stapled the bag shut. Big mistake! It wasn't even busy that night, so there's no excuse for this mix-up. Feel free to check the recording if you don't believe me. And to top it off, the portions have shrunk significantly while raising the prices. Cutting corners on ingredients --it's just pathetic. Save yourself the disappointment; head next door to 'Twenty Five Teishoku House'. They serve better and fresher fish anyway. I might reconsider this review if there's any update. Update: Emjhay T. reached out and offer a voucher for 1 meal. Thanks but no thanks, won't be returning back.

the store mixed up our bowls and advised when we called to let them know, they said they would replace the bowls for free on our next visit. When we tried getting the replacement bowls on our next visit they staff (women named Yaki) refused to honor the promise. not get customer service

I've ordered DoorDash here multiple times now and even ask for "light sauce". Every time it comes like soup. So drenched in sauce I have to throw it away.

Great food, I ordered takeout and it was very good. Wish they would add just a little more protein to the bowls. Service was quick and the place is very cute.

Frequented this poke place since it's one of the few around Katy. Went in yesterday around lunch hour. Wish I could've taken a picture of the tuna they tried serving my wife and I. It had no color and nearly looked dried out. Didn't realize it until we went to order the toppings and saw it in the bowl. There were no cucumbers, seaweed salad, or crab salad available. No warning from the staff or a sign that half the toppings weren't available. Between the poor attitude from the woman working, the foul tuna she tried serving, along with the lack of available toppings we just left and can't say we'll ever go back.

Leon & Jewel were absolutely by the book professional lol. They served and did their job well. If I'm honest... I'm a regular so they are some newer faces BUT the whole crew typically does well. Leon definitely listened to my request and helped out very well! I'm asking for him next time I go

Horrible experience, wasn't greeted and didn't even listen to what I asked for. I wanted one brown rice burrito and one white rice burrito and ended up with 2 white rice! they barely put any rice which in the end made the burrito hard to wrap they had to remake one of them and the other had to be double wrapped in seaweed. didn't even ask me if i wanted light, medium, or heavy on the sauce so one burrito is all sauce! Worst experience, they were all over the place and didn't even ask if i wanted crunch, which i did! They almost started to close it up without me having finished saying what i wanted! Will not be going there anymore! ZERO STARS!!

Absolutely wonderful staff! I forgot the names of the ladies who were working when I ordered (very sorry) but they were SO patient and kind with me when I didn't know what to get. Even offered me to taste test some of the sauces! A good choice and variety of ingredients to choose from too if you're going for something healthier. Would def come back here again :)

Really good and fresh poke! We shared a large 3 protein sushi burrito ($15.95). They definitely put a lot of protein, which they should, given the price. We were both satisfied, 1 whole one would've been way too much for me. He struggled to close the burrito, but he did it :) Salmon Spicy salmon Ahi tuna Cucumber Corn Edamame Sweet onion Pineapple - refreshing Seaweed salad Surimi salad (crab salad) - free and yummy! Sriracha aioli sauce - not too spicy Onion crisps - added crunch! The main reason I tried this place out rather than going to Umaki was the $5 off when you download the app!

Love this place! It's a little pricey, but when I am in the mood for a poke burrito it hits the spot!

So far this is my favorite poke bowl place in Houston... ...coming from Hawaii, I'm extremely picky with my poke bowls. Once I got over the fact that all fish here would be frozen, and nothing would compare with even the grocery store poke bowls back home I settled on a favorite. And here we are...customer service is good, not amazing. The options are great and help create a really filling meal. Will continue to visit this location as the other options for poke bowls here in Katy don't even come close.

Best place for poke in the Katy area! I'm a big fan of poke and have ordered from every place in Katy but the quality and topping have been disappointing so I keep returning to Pokeworks. The quality is consistent every time whether dine in or to go. By consistence, I mean that the fish and toppings are always fresh. Sometimes when I order poke from other places I can smell the fishiness from the plastic bag to the bowl itself and it lingers even as I eat. I've never had that problem with Pokeworks. Also, I love that they offer quinoa as a base when I want something lighter than rice but heavier than a salad. Also, it goes through the digestive system very well haha.

Pretty good. I've been to different poke spots but this one was kinda expensive for what you got. For 2 bowls (2 protein) it came out to be $31.

This was a disappointing experience!!!! I guess this location at 21788 Katy Freeway #700 Katy, TX 77449 is under new ownership. Came for dinner at 6:30 pm. Took almost 30 minutes to be served with only 2 people ahead of us. We ordered 2 Poke bowls with salmon and ahi tuna combo; which meant you could get a boba tea and miso soup or chips. After paying we found out they had no miso soup!!! I agreed to get chips to save a fuss but they only had barbecue and salt and vinegar and one bag of jalapeño that looked like the bag had been crumpled. The girl who waited on us said she would check to see if there were any other chips and came back with one bad equally as crumpled of sea salt. Again, I took it not to make an issue over it. We had completely finished our dinner when we finally got our boba tea and it came in a 12 oz. solo cup with ice and a regular straw with no sealed lid! She said she could wrap Saran Wrap on the top if we wanted. Unbelievable! Don't say you have boba tea if you don't!!! Don't say you have miso soup if you don't! The extra small tapioca balls of course could not go through a regular straw. Needless to say, I will choose another Poke place to eat at next time. The bathrooms were not kept either!!!

I normally don't give anyone 5 stars unless you are REALLY REALLY GOOD. So there it is; 5 stars! I have never been to this restaurant before. It was so nice and clean. The service as spot on. The gentlemen who to my order was very helpful and kind. Not like some people who are only there for the paycheck. My poke bowl was perfect. The salmon, ahi tuna was cool and fresh. There was not one thing I did not like. I had a hard time finishing my bowl. That has never happened before. I don't drink soda but I did notice they do not have popular sodas like Coke, Dr. Pepper, Sprite etc.... it was some other brand I have never heard of before. But that a-ok with. All in all my first visit here was a huge thumbs up. I am adding this to my list of favorite poke bowl places.

Whitney has great customer service and was a joy ordering food from! She is polite and nice, and great at the occasional small talk, even considering the business of the restaurant. Definitely recommend coming in on a lunch break

POKEWORKS IS SO BOMB YOU HAVE TO TRY IT IF YOU ARE A FAN OF POKE! They have so many different toppings and their ingredients taste very fresh and pair super well together. I got their tofu shayu bowl because it was the only vegan one, but you can add any other ingredients that you like. I loved this place so much!!! They have indoor dining now, and it wasn't very crowded at all!

The food here is always fresh and there's a wide variety of ingredients for sushi lovers. Leon and the rest of the staff are always friendly and the store is always clean. Easily the consistently best poke spot in the area.

Poke is one of my favorites, I've been eating poke since I was a kid, so I am a little picky. Me & a co worker stopped by for a quick lunch. We walked in and was immediately greeted by one of the staff. I myself got the spicy tuna bowl, which was iiight. I didn't really get to add any extras because the person who helped me seemed to not be having a good day. Other than that, the tuna was okay but the rice was soggy. Wanted a specialty lemonade but the machine was broken. The ambiance was meh.

Three words, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Came in on a Wednesday for lunch, it was around 2pm, I was greeted by a lady while she making someone ordered (I believe it was an UberEats order). She stopped what she was doing to get my order started. I built my own poke bowl. I'll describe my poke bowl in a minute, but after she my bowl started she passed it to the next gentlemen. He basically add my toppings and etc. after he finished making my bowl, he asked me if I have the Pokeworks app to get $5 off my meal. I answered no, because I just saw the sign on the window but didn't want to wait up the line to download the app. (There was other customers waiting). The nice gentleman simply told me to go ahead and sit down and eat and I can download the app and I can pay after I am done eating, no rush! I was really surprised! He really made my day! I was having a rough day at work *hints why my lunch was at 2pm!* and I was flustered when I was trying to juggle downloading the app and trying to pay. Grab my drink, download the app while enjoying my poke bowl. After I was done eating, he rang me up and scan my app for the $5 off. What I had: build my own poké salad. 1. Base - Fresh romaine and spring mix 2. Protein - salmon 3. Add mix-ins - cilantro, cucumber, edamame, fresh jalapeño, hijiki seaweed and orange slices 4. Choose a flavor - wasabi aioli 5. Add toppings - masago, seaweed salad, wasabi, spicy furikake and sesame seed. 6. Choose a crunch - onion crisps and shredded nori. They also offer the garlic spam musubi for $2.50. Overall great experience and definitely will be coming back! Thanks for being so kind, you never know when a person is having a rough day! (I wish I got the gentleman's name.)

I had such a pleasant experience at the Katy location. Clean store and amazing service! The person behind the counter was super friendly and helpful. He gave me a lot of good recommendations based on my likings. I ended up loving the mix of umami shoyu and spicy ginger as the sauce, which was one of his suggestions. The portion size is generous. I suggest adding all the toppings to elevate the flavors and to get more food. Some of my favorites are seaweed salad (a must), edamame, spicy furikake, onion crisps, and garlic crisps. I would also add avocado when I get home. I like how it's quick to grab and healthy! It's a type of meal that fuels your body with proper nutrients and makes you feel good. The people working there are some of the nicest people I've encountered at a chain restaurant. I'll definitely visit again and highly recommend everyone to give it a try!

Always solid poke option. I've tried so many of these places and POKEWORKS always delivers! Can't go wrong with picking your own toppings or a preset one. Everything is always fresh and has the best classic sauce.

You know, the place is cute, small, perfect for poke. they had a BOGO so it was jammed packed in there and they were definitely keeping it together which is great.  the staff was friendly. the only issue i had with the place was the tuna was a bit chewy on some pieces and there was a distinct after taste that i didn't fully appreciate that didn't make the experience a 5 star. everything else was great. the selection was nice, the food was good. the sauces were great.  i got the bowl with rice, tuna, shrimp. masago, lettuce, ginger, edamame, onion, lotus crisp, garlic crisps, crab salad, spicy ginger sauce. overall, good experience. i would give it another try.

I always enjoy the Poke Works. And now they have lobster! Jami was very helpful and patient with me while deciding what to order. I will be back.

Have been ordering from this place for a year on a regular basis. Today was a huge disappointment . Got my regular Salmon, Tuna Poke bowl and first bite of Tuna made me instantly queezy. Took a look and as you can see in the picture it is Grey, slimy, smelly, off... I immediately took this photo and threw it away. I called to let them them know about the bad Tuna and the response from the manager was defensive. He said, "that Tuna is from this morning and it tastes fine..." I replied, not trying to get anything free just font want you to make someone sick... Tuna was off and bad response from management.

The service was AMAZING - insanely nice and patient. 5/5 The poke bowls were pretty good. 4-4.5/5. Solid rice and spicy salmon. My only complaint is that I didn't love the spicy Mayo, and unfortunately for me, the sauce makes or breaks. The most popular option is build your own, but we tried Hawaiian as well and it was delicious. I've been to a few pokeworks and I'd rank this one closer to the top!

Poke is good, but if employees are going to start putting less food in a bowl and expect one to pay the same amount, they are not thinking straight. They might be the only Pokeworks in the area, but they are not the only poke spot in the area. A free suggestion to the younglin who tried to skimp me on food would be to not argue with a customer and expect me pay for something I didn't get. I'm taking this as a blessing in disguise. If they get out of line with you too and you're not craving poke enough to pay for something you don't get, go to Urban Bird, the chicken spot next door and try their sandwich. It's delicious.

just visited this place today and adrian was the person who took my order. despite it being my first time at the store he was so sweet and patient with me. advised me of all ingredients being added and if i was okay with it all. so so helpful and such a great employee! will definitely be back, food was AMAZING and restaurant was so so clean! definitely 10/10 highly recommend to anyone want to try out!! :)

This Place Restored My Faith In Poke. I tried poke once a while back and wasn't a big fan of it. My sisters ate here once and thought I should give poke another try so I went with them. The interior is clean and vibrant with a yellow theme. The inside was decorated with cute and simple furnitures. We got in, got in line, the girl on the line was super helpful and patience. They have plenty of options to choose from. The bowl didn't look that much but there was plenty of food. Overall a great place. I wouldn't mind visiting again.

Another palatable poke spot with several signature bowls to offer. I decided to get a bowl as my base, and make it my own way although they did have a sushi burrito and a poke salad to offer as well. Like Diced poke and Umaki they also had cooked shrimp, which I personally favor over having it raw. Along with diced mangos and orange slices they have various amounts of toppings, crunch in's, and flavors to chose from. Will definitely be heading back to try out their sushi burrito. Food is great, fresh and delicious. Don't bother with online ordering if you are expecting to pickup food and go. I'm here about once a week and it's been getting steadily worse. Today I waited in the restaurant for 35 minutes to pickup my online, prepaid order. Wish I could get that 15% prepaid tip back!!!

Like before, Poke ingredients are very fresh and lots of toppings to choose from. This time around, the spam musubi tasted better! Freshly made and not dry. Come here to try out their poke!

THIS IS MY ALL TIME FAVORITE POKE PLACE!!!!! Ever since it opened up in katy, it's the only place I go to get poke. The fish there is always fresh, plus they have a base option of kale noodles! I'll usually get noodles or sushi rice. They have lots of creative mix-ins like seaweeds and fruits on top of the usual onions, cucumbers, etc. There are lots of sauces as well and the server will ask you "light, medium, or heavy" which I appreciate because some places will just drown your bowl with too much sauce. Another unique option is lotus chips for a crunch in your bowl. I loooove the lotus chips!! The customer service is outstanding. I've never had a complaint about anyone there. Any questions I've had were always answered with a smile. Additionally, if you download the Pokeworks app you can get $5 off your first purchase. On Mondays and Wednesday's students get BOGO after 5pm with a student ID. You also get a free miso soup if you check in on Facebook or yelp! Overall, I think Pokeworks is amazing. I definitely would recommend it to my friends searching for a good poke bowl.

I picked up lunch today to bring back to the office - I'm sitting here at my desk, only halfway through my bowl, but already felt compelled to write this review! Before walking in, I wasn't sure if this was a place where they just have standard bowls to order or if it was a "build your own" - I'm happy to report you can build your own! I explained to the employee taking my order that it was my first time and she very kindly walked me through the process - choose your base, protein, mix ins, sauce, and toppings. She also offered to let me try the sauces. She made my bowl, I paid, and they sent me on my way, paper sack in hand They had more options and variety than I've seen at any other poke place before, and I love that they ask if you want your sauce "light, medium, or heavy". The bowl is a very generous size! All of the ingredients are super fresh and so delicious! Oh! There are several tables for dining in and there was a good mix of groups and people eating alone. As someone that dines out a lot on my own, I always pay attention to if a place is somewhere I would feel comfortable eating alone. Sometimes, especially with smaller places, I feel uncomfortable/judged/in the way - definitely wouldn't be the case here!! All in all, 10/10 for Pokeworks! I'll be back!

Gave Pokeworks a try on a Sunday afternoon. Crowd was very minimal for lunch hours and it got me thinking if i should try Jinya next door instead. Concept is subway style, pick what you want or order from their created items. Decided to get a burrito with 2 proteins (scallop and salmon). I really wanted the chopped salmon but it didnt look appealing, more of a mashed left over? I tried two sauces (aioli and soy) and added their garlic bits and lotus chips. Overall, i've had better burritos elsewhere where the rice is not an inch thick and sauces were pretty bland.
