Google
I love poke but was very disappointed by my first visit to this pokeworks location. The salmon I got looked a little funky and tasted even worse. I tried my best to eat around it but it really ruined the bowl- definitely not worth the money. This being said, they had great toppings- I got edamame, mango, corn, cilantro, seaweed, masago, crab, and wonton strips. I wouldn’t rule out all pokeworks but would recommend others stay away from this location.

Google
Opened the bag to find an embarrassingly small pile of food at the bottom of my bowl for $16. After mixing it up discovered the brown rice was half cooked and all dried up, making it all inedible. The other bowl's noodles were somehow crunchy and soggy. Thanks for wasting my time.

Adriana Harrison

Google
The food was fresh but the serving size was so small for $17! Not worth it in my opinion, I watched her take one scoop of food and put some of it back

Google
Went around 8:15PM. Maybe because it was about to close, no salad and no garlic spam musubi. The brown rice is a bit hard, maybe not cooked through. One person’s stomach didn’t feel so well afterward. Decent taste poke bowl. Spicy level is good. Seems expensive based on portion to price.

Google
Out of all the Pokeworks locations in the area, we prefer this one in Davis Square mostly because of the friendly customer service and consistently good bowls we get. The employees are patient as each of us selects our fillings; I appreciate that because I have particular food allergies, and other places/locations make you feel rushed. The place is always clean, and we are in and out very quickly.

Google
Always a great time at Pokeworks. The sushi burritos are always very filling and delicious and the staff and manager are very friendly :)

Google
friendliness and gregariousness, while fantastic perks, do not compensate for haphazard training and mediocre product at premium prices. while the employees were sweet and friendly, it was incredibly obvious that the training they had been given was sub-par. what i received was a wonderfully pleasant interaction with lovely people, served with a side of a nearly inedible sloppy tasteless mess. the employees themselves expressed they didn’t really know what they were doing and i honestly don’t blame them. i shouldn’t have been made to pay $33 for an experience where it was clear everyone was losing out.

Google
Yamy and the team at Pokéworks turned what could have been a frustrating experience into an impressive display of teamwork and customer service. Despite an unexpected shortage of ingredients, they stayed calm, communicated effectively, and found quick solutions to keep things running smoothly. Their positive attitude and dedication to creating a great customer experience left a lasting impression. The food was still delicious, fresh, and perfectly balanced, proving that even under pressure, they prioritize quality. Thanks to Yamy and the crew, we left feeling valued. I will likely not return to this restaurant, but these employees should be commended.

Yelp
The ingredients were really fresh and they absolutely stuffed my bowl!! I got the salmon and spicy tuna with half salad bowl, I highly recommend it.

Gene C.

Yelp
I loved all the food and tasted really good Service was unbelievable I recommend coming back and I will be coming back all the time

Natania C.

Yelp
It's pretty similar to all other poke chains. The price is fine, and the servers are friendly. I'll be eating there again.

P H.

Yelp
Ordered door dash from here. They got almost the entire order wrong, including weird substitutions for what they wrote on the receipt that they had run out of, and they substituted ingredients that would have made me violently ill if I had eaten them. Also, the fish was soft like it was old and the sushi rice didn't have flavor or consistency of sushi rice, just the shape, which makes me think it, too, was old. How do you get 90% of an order wrong? And who subs in potato chips when you run out of spam musubi?

Leo Z.

Yelp
Ordered create my own bowl, missing three ingredients, the sweet corn, cilantro and avocado that cost extra money. And missing ingredients happened many times when I ordered here

Yue Z.

Yelp
Aggressively mediocre. The fish is bland, the rice is dull and the rest might as well have been scooped straight out of a vat, for $20. A mindful trip through BJ's can come up with twice the taste for 1/3 the cost (well, per meal for 20 meals' worth). To hell with that nominally first world bowl of blah. Guess that's what I get for being a local showing up to get fleeced like a tourist. *This is only a statement of subjective experience. Your mileage may vary.

Melissa P.

Yelp
I used to love this place when it first opened, and I worked a block away. They sold it as being able to get a bowl you could customize, and I was happy every time I got anything here. Fast forward to a few years later. I've ordered delivery from here a few times before and since COVID, and I have not once gotten anything even close to what I asked for. it's gotten so bad that I've considered attempting to order exactly the opposite of what I wanted to see if they would give me what I actually wanted. The bowls come with a printed out receipt with all of your options printed on it, and they NEVER match. one time I had EIGHT of my chosen options missing, and TWO options i didn't want included. and forget about the sauce, you have to order it on the side or the food is swimming in it. but then if you order it on the side, the odds of it coming with your food are about 20%. I have no idea how this place is still in business after years of this gross incompetence, but I love poke so much every 6 months or so I try again much to my dismay and disappointment. literally every other poke place in existence is better than this place. it's so sad.

Isaiah T.

Yelp
The Customer Service sucked royally. Food was decent but it needs less sauce. I'm not coming back

Mark C.

Yelp
I was excited to try Pokeworks in Somerville because I loved the food when I ate in Austin but this place was a bit disappointing. Service is quick and there was no line when I went during lunch. The place is clean and spacious. The issue lies completely in the food. I tried each component of my meal piece by piece before mixing it. The crunchy wonton crisps and onion crisps tasted very stale and old. There was no satisfying crunch with it. The surimi salad also tasted weird dry and I couldn't taste the mayo. The rice was steaming hot out of the cooker which is not what I'm used to. I'm used to the rice being a bit cooler but it's whatever. Fish was okay. Vegetables and fruit didn't taste as fresh as I wanted and were a bit hard. Maybe I got a bad batch of ingredients but the place opens at 11 and I came in at 12 so it should be fresher. Since poke is a conglomeration of simple ingredients, when the ingredients aren't high quality, it's very noticeable and makes the meal underwhelming. There are much better poke places nearby which hurts me to say since I loved pokeworks so much back in Texas :(

Elizabeth J.

Yelp
Didn't get what I asked for in the bowl, missing 2 ingredients. Also, no mention that the "house" flavoring comes directly from Beelzebub's behind. My mucous membranes have dissolved.

Patty M.

Yelp
Forgets half of my order and when I went to call to ask if they forgot no one picks up the phone, an hour before closing, shitty food, will not come back and I hope they get better staff members

Jean C.

Yelp
I agree with the others who talk about how this place was great when it opened and now it's THE WORST. Like the others, my delivery order was so messed up that HALF of what I requested was missing and when I called, they said they were out of those items. No indication whatsoever on the site, and when I complained about having a bland, tasteless bowl that I paid far too much for, they told me that they would refund my money, but they NEVER did. F this place and the people who work there. To be clear, I'm referring to the Davis Square location.

Sue W.

Yelp
My family moved to the area not long ago and recently ate dinner with my family at this location, and I was totally impressed! The service was amazing, the food was super fresh, and the place was clean and well stocked. I got the spicy ahi bowl and my husband got the volcano bowl, and we were both extremely satisfied and we can't wait to go back!

Justine R.

Yelp
Just go to Waikiki right around the block guys. No AC in a pole place with open windows??? The smog? Flies? With raw fish out in the open??? Not to mention the poor service and limited options?? The fish doesn't seem fresh when I ate it. Risked my life for parasites and food poisoning seriously just go to Waikiki pike for better fish, better service, better drinks, and closed area with air conditioning

Nelffy G.

Yelp
There two very kind workers customer service was beyond amazing!! And the food was delicious, definitely will be back again!!

Hebe L.

Yelp
This place is bright and clean. There were many street parking in front of the store. I only eat a few topping but because they only let you order from machine so you can only add once. I picked 2 proteins, need to add extra $1 for salmon! (So extra $2 for 2 scoops) The third scoop of salmon is $3 per scoop. It's still a bit small but I like the kale noodles.

Halleh C.

Yelp
I went here once before a few years ago and remember thinking it was so good. Fast forward to yesterday- totally different story. First and most egregious was the service. The girl working was INCREDIBLY rude, cold, and obviously hated being there. Her lack of basic engagement really rubbed me the wrong way. She didn't engage at all, no eye contact, and was ridiculously short with me. I'm your basic customer and don't expect much- but what I do expect is basic polite interaction. I hasn't even tasted the food yet and knew I'd never be back. Now, the food: very average. More fillers/mixers, less fish. Rice was so hot that the fish on top of it got warm. Also (and very strange), they had spam musubi on the menu and when I asked for it was very harshly told that they don't sell it. Pretty confusing but the delivery was as if I was hallucinating and ridiculous for asking for something that was smack dab center on the menu. Very unfortunate experience all around.

Nino E.

Yelp
It was a warm and rainy night. Thought a poke bowl would be nice for dinner on a warm, humid, and rainy evening. My girlfriend and I came near closing and we're able to build our customized poke bowls. It was pretty standard for pike place and hits the spot if you have a craving for it. Service was ok, just seemed like they were ready to leave which is understandable since it was towards the end of the night. The ambiance is clean and plenty of tables if you wanted to eat there, but we took ours Togo and eat at home.

Gauravi P.

Yelp
We ordered poke bowls from this eatery twice this week! With the summer heat, eating a a fresh bowl of poke with raw healthy veggies felt so refreshing! If I could order poke from here every day I would. There are good social distancing protocols to protect the customers as well as the workers here. Customers are separated from the food and workers by a large glass wall. There are lines on floor to help customers social distance and signs to prompt mask wearing. I did a make your own poke bowl for my first order and just went ham on all my toppings. My second poke bowl, I ordered the Salmon Shiso on salad greens. My favorite topping here is the Thai green chillies (for spicy food fans)!

Mary O.

Yelp
This place used to be great, but the service has gotten bad and the ingredients are hit or miss. Most recently the mango wasn't ripe and my serving of masago was microscopic. I don't know how you get an online order wrong but they've managed several times, the last time mixing up one bowl's base with the other one's toppings. Needless to say that a huge allergy risk. Also they left a side off the order even though it was printed on the receipt, though they comped us for it when we called. You can't swing a cat without hitting a poke place nowadays, so I doubt we'll give them another chance.

Stephen L.

Yelp
Went to store this past weekend there was guy working with uncovered beard preparing food. A big scraggly beard, which is a health code violation. Food was inedible, bland and tasted awful.

James W.

Yelp
I have been to Pokeworks in RI and it's amazing! Somerville location is dirty with rude personnel and food was awful ! I wouldn't recommend

Damien S.

Yelp
I do enjoy the food here. Fish is fresh, the pre-selected combinations satisfy (Hawaiian Classic, yo), and the price is very reasonable. But the space itself, and staff attitude, is a bit off-putting. One visit, I was ushered out the door thirty minutes before the listed closing time because the staff wanted to begin cleaning a disaster of a dining area (neglected, sticky tables; napkins and empty containers everywhere). Second visit, my buddy's order - the Spicy Hawaiian, I believe - was nothing like its listing on the menu, and when he pointed this out, the cashier said, "Oh, sorry" without any recourse or offer to remake. It was weird. This is one of their signature dishes, and it was made completely wrong. Friend is the most laid-back dude, so he just went with it, but c'mon, own up and start anew. Solid poke. The location could use a few upgrades.

Keyajah J.

Yelp
Food was good as well as the service . Got my food quick it's usually the same thing I order when I go there id recommend .

Chandra S.

Yelp
Food was awesome as and the young man that made was pretty entertaining... definitely one of my new favorite spots for a quick lunch

Alee L.

Yelp
I should have just gone somewhere else for poke. This was my first time here and in short this place sucks. I ordered a custom poke bowl with sushi rice, ahi tuna, surimi salad, seaweed salad, hijiki seaweed with umami shoyu. I wanted avocados and lotus chips but they didn't have any, so that was my first disappointment. Then to actually taste the bowl was even worse. The sushi rice was mushy in texture and it was not pleasant at all. Not knowing how to cook rice is a sin, especially if you are a place that serves rice as one of the main options. Add to the subpar ingredients, this bowl was awful and disgusting. I ended up throwing it away after a few bites because I couldn't take it anymore. And after a few hours, unfortunately I felt sick and ending up throwing up. Needless to say, never again and will not be back.

Rebecca Y.

Yelp
I've gone to Pokeworks in Providence a MILLION times as well as the one in Burlington Vermont. Never an issue. Today I went to this location at 1:30pm on April 19th and I had the rudest girl ever. the place was disgusting. and they "ran out" of EVERY TOPPING. but I was told I had to pay full price for my bowl. i'll add a picture below as to what apparently $15 gets you here. i'm disgusted and I hope this girl gets relocated or talked too. three people behind me in line left after seeing how she made my bowl. THROWING everything around and was just plain awful. i'm so upset, this was going to be my new location because i'm in Arlington a ton now. Just sad. this place needs a DEEP cleaning ASAP.

Andres D.

Yelp
Very much the standard of the new assembly line poke craze. You will get a ton of options for protein and toppings, most of which will not cost extra, as well as choice of size and bowl or burrito. I and everyone who I've been with have enjoyed it a lot, so it's a pretty reasonable price for the quality and cost of ingredients. Still not as cheap as other assembly line takeout places of course.

Victoria T.

Yelp
If you want a half filled what is supposed to be a "large" bowl of poke for $16, come to pokeworks Davis square. I got 3 fish options and kale noodles, my friend got rice and 3 fish too. They didn't even fill it up all the way, nor did they give much rice, noodles, or add ons. We won't be back again, not worth $16. I've been to other poke places and gotten more food for less money.

Cristina R.

Yelp
I have a passion for Pokeworks! Why? Let me count it out for you. 1. LOCATION! I live in Davis. And don't have a car. So when I get off the T/bus and want a healthier option that will fill me fast, Pokeworks is there. 2. SPEED! Even if there's a line, you can walk through the door and out again with a bowl of fishy goodness in your hands in under 15 minutes. 3. TASTE! The fish is so fresh, and you can pick the sauce that it's tossed in before it's added to your bowl. The toppings are varied and very well prepared. All of the flavors and textures mix together LIKE WOAH. 3. STYLE! You can order from the menu or customize your bowl with a base, 2 proteins, as AS MANY TOPPINGS AS YOU WANT. A few like the avocado have an extra cost, but there are so many other options that come FO FREE that it's just fine. I like to do half salad/half brown rice as my base to lighten it up a bit, sushi grade salmon and tuna (with light spicy ginger sauce) as my proteins, and then GO TO TOWN with the dried seaweed, crabmeat salad, masago, seaweed salad, and even crunchy toppings like the lovely lotus chips (add one in for the pic, even if you don't want to eat it -- trust me!). 4. AFFORDABLE! A regular bowl comes out to around $11, which I think is very reasonable considering the quality, quantity, and variety of all you can add to your bowl as well as the speedy and attentive service. I can usually make one bowl into two meals, so in this case it's especially a steal! If you plan on coming often, make sure to get a regards punch card because with every 12 bowls purchased, you get a free regular poke! And with that, Pokeworks has poked it's way into my heart.

Olivia W.

Yelp
Pretty good, but kind of pricey for the final product ($14 per bowl). Pokeworks is like any other bowl chain - pick your choice of base, protein and toppings as you make your way down the line. First guy was not having a good day and just kind threw everything together, the second guy who actually packaged my bowl was much nicer and in a much better mood. Overall tasted good and I'd come back, just be careful with the add-ons, it can get real expensive real fast.

Adrian Z.

Yelp
Love the food. Delicious and different. And you can get something quite healthy as well.

Bob L.

Yelp
Took the plunge and came out here (with the help of some good 'ol peer pressure from friends) for Sunday lunch. Davis square can be a hassle when it comes to parking. No other option aside from cruising around in a circle until someone leaves (or do what I did and camp the parking lot for people returning from their errands). The interior is very spacious and clean and the tables are nice and wide (though there aren't as many chairs for seating as you would think with all this space). I opted for the Hawaiian classic poke burrito and found it quite tasty. The combination of flavors worked well for me (very fresh!) and did not leave me feeling heavy at all. Do note that if you come here, do so at off-peak hours as there's usually only a couple people handling orders at a time and if a lot of people want to customize it can really bog down the line!

Diandra L.

Yelp
Poke doesn't get better than this! This was our last meal of a vacation in Boston and it was fresh af and made my Poke dreams come true. This is a fast casual spot right in Davis Square and there are tons of options for even the pickiest of poke fans. There are pre-set items on the menu, but you can also make your own! The guy behind the counter recommended making your own Poke bowl for the best experience. So, I listened and began my journey to fresh fish wonder. The large bowl affords you 3 proteins, so I did a mix of tuna and spicy salmon. On to the toppings. Woah are there toppings. Wakame, Edamame, Mango, Tobiko, all sorts of glorious mix and match items. Then come the sauces - there's a plethora of those, too! There's even a crunch bar for added flavor. The large poke bowl is large enough for two people to share for lunch. Or for one person to have leftovers later! You can also order pick up via the Yelp App which is perfect for a busy day!

Alison K.

Yelp
Super impressed with this store- came in for the first time on their one year anniversary, where they were having a buy one get one free promotion, so obviously, there was a huge line of people. Service was still very fast considering the sheer amount of people, and they even offered free miso soup for everyone in the line (not very good though, sorry). And of course, the poke was so good. I loved being able to customize everything and choose from so many different ingredients, and I think $10 is pretty affordable for one bowl. However, my boyfriend did get sick (i.e. throwing up multiple times) after eating one of his poke bowls; I was fine, but we are pretty hesitant to visit again.

Carlos L.

Yelp
Food gets 8 out 10 customer service is poor, three employees working and they haven't noticed there was not napkins, tables dirty, running out food and they will wait to get out more until the client ask for whatever was out, looks like the employees don't want to be there.

Stacey H.

Yelp
I used to go here all the time, because the food was fresh and consistently good. Unfortunately, I went for lunch yesterday and it was just 'ok'. The people working behind the counter were nice, but the guy who helped me basically just slopped all of the food into the bowl and made no effort at all to make it look good. In fact, it looked disgusting and the presentation was terrible. And no, it was not busy as I was only one in the whole restaurant. I ate what I could but it wasn't very enjoyable, so I had to toss half of it. Not what I would expect for a $15 lunch.

Marlana Y.

Yelp
I have a love/hate relationship with pokeworks. Love that they are here. Love ALL the options they offer. Love that they even offer online ordering for 'supposedly' easy/fast pickup. Before the online ordering: They are far from me but I am willing to travel through 30-40 minutes of traffic to get there and another 10+ minutes to find parking, just to wait an extra 30 minutes to wait in line to order food. TRUE STORY. The hate part is the obnoxious line and the customer service I experienced. I'm use to the ordering as you go chipotle line. But the wait time here is horrendous. I really thought the 30 min wait was just because it's new. Cuz that's what usually happens at new places. But it's really because of them. At Chipotle you don't have to wait that long and it's the same type of system. Picking which bowl I want and which sauce I want is fast and easy. But the toppings bar is so huge. There are endless amounts of options which is awesome. But they should have two people working it, at least right now when they are still fairly new and not everyone knows what toppings they offer. It would definitely make the line so much faster. After online ordering: As a mom with a toddler and a newborn, I don't have anymore time waiting in this line. Any mom knows that a waiting kid is a ticking time bomb. I was so happy to order/pay online and it should be east right? No. I went to the front of the cash register to pick up my food and I was fine waiting in line behind another lady who was paying for her food. After the customer paid for her food, the employee just walked away. I stood there like an idiot. I see my food in the back counter, can I please just grab it?!? Then another employee who was helping the man BEHIND ME told me to step aside so she could charge this guy out. The point of ordering online should be fast and easy. It should be a grab and go. But I still had to wait. It is a bit frustrating because two employees are ignoring me. Like what am I suppose to do. Where am I suppose to go. Even my husband who was double parking outside asked me 'what took so long?' Me: I don't know. Please pokeworks I hope your customer service improves!

Kaeli H.

Yelp
Unexpectedly good for Somerville asian food. Everything is fresh and very tasty. Although add ons are mostly free, the portions are on the small side for poke.

Julia M.

Yelp
Clean and inviting space, great quality food! The portions seem slightly larger than most Poke bowls I've tried - great value for cost! Fresh and tasty, would definitely eat here again!

Nicole R.

Yelp
I've generally had good experiences with this Pokeworks location, but my last visit left much to be desired. I placed a mobile order through their app for the first time, a feature that was just recently added for the Boston area locations. I was thinking placing a mobile order would save time as it typically does at most places, but in this case I would have been better off just ordering there. My order was estimated to be ready in 20 minutes but took half an hour. To be fair, they happened to have a lot of orders from DoorDash, Uber Eats, etc. when I went in and they may still be figuring out how the mobile ordering system works. I wouldn't have minded the wait so much if I enjoyed my meal, but sadly I did not. I ordered the new Spicy Sichuan bowl and somehow they forgot the sauce. The fish didn't seem to be the freshest that day either. I will say that this location is clean and has much more seating space than the Harvard Square one. I'm willing to give Pokeworks another chance next time I'm in Davis Square, but I think I'll order in person since that seems to go better.

Mark T.

Yelp
After being introduced to poke at Myers+Chang, I've realized how good it really is. I've had a great experience at another poke-themed place, here though... eh, no so much. Before you loathe me for the review: I will return at some point, and update if I have a better experience. I play fair. Not even wanting to realize I could make my own bowl (this is what will bring me back) I decided to order a regular sized Hawaiian Classic. My two biggest problems with the dish come down to the rice. First, the rice was warm. This is great in some cases, but when you are mixing it with raw fish and other fresh ingredients, you end up the whole bowl being warmed, including ingredients that do best without any heat... just imagine sushi made with warm rice. Secondly, I felt the amount of rice through off the balance. While the amount of all other ingredients to themselves was fine, the amount of them relative to rice was off. I will say as well that an extra scoop of fish would be nice, but I realize two is the standard. The service was nice, and the location was clean.

Araxie M.

Yelp
I too decided to order from DoorDash having been craving some poke (never easy to find outside of California) and got a couple of bowls. I have to say it was the most horrendous thing I'd ever seen in me life. Immediately opening the cover I could smell that this fish went bad.I mean really bad. Closer inspection showed the salmon was grayish in hue. No thanks. Tossed it out. I didn't get through this pandemic only to be ruined by a poke bowl. Fix your quality.

Andrea L.

Yelp
Finally a place in Boston that specializes in poke!!! I think this is the first one (minus a sushi burrito place that I will not name here but wrote a review on and was disappointed with). I came here on the second day of opening at around 6pm and was shocked to see a huge line out the door. The ordering and prep process isn't too long though so it wasn't a terrible wait. If you're new to poke places, there is a menu that lists all the options. I recommend doing a make your own to really customize your preferences! I got the bowl with white rice and two scoops of protein. Honestly the scoops are quite tiny but when you load it up with rice and other toppings like cucumber, crab meat, seaweed, and more, the ingredients add up and you're left with a pretty generous portioned meal. I really like the tuna and scallop combo mixed with the shoyu sauce. I got the sriracha aioli on the side to mix it while I was eating. Seating is extremely limited and I had to do to go to eat at home. Maybe come during an off hour once they extend their hours (only open 5-10pm as of 12/3/16) to find a seat! Pricing is slightly higher than what I'm used to at poke places back in California, but you do get a lot of food!!! I will be back :)

Yelp
A group of us had a serious hankering for poke and since we have kids, we decided to get it to go. We tried to order online or over the phone and they said that they weren't able to do that yet. So we texted our (very complex) orders to my husband to pick up for us on the way from work. This was at around 5PM. There was traffic of course and then I hear that there is a long line about an hour later -- what... we were hungry! So because they make everything chipotle style down a line, my husband said he would need a little more help than that for the 7 bowls and 1 burrito we were ordering. A manager jumped in and worked to quickly get it done. (Extra special thanks for that!) At around 7PM, we finally had our delicious bowls, huzzah!! I loved my umami classic (swapped tuna for salmon) with added onion chips. It would have been even better freshly made I imagine but it was seriously yummy. I was a little disappointed by the burrito though, maybe the sauce wasn't distributed well enough or I'd say they should toss the protein in it before wrapping it. I liked my bowl a lot better. I do also wish they had some sort of mini bowl options for kids like with one meat & veggie or topping. I wanted to try the mango coco jelly drink too but I think our 8 food orders was probably more than they could handle haha so next time I guess because we will go back for sure.

Eric D.

Yelp
I had poke a bunch of times before during vacations in Hawaii and was thrilled to hear a place to get poke finally made it to the bay state. My wife and I shared the Hawaiian classic burrito and the spicy ponzu albacore poke bowl. Personally our opinion but we thought it was okay. I wish it was more authentic where the tuna is already seasoned rather then adding it on the spot like they do at pokeworks. Hawaiian classic burrito was flavorful but I thought the nori wrap was a bit too chewy. As for the poke bowl, I would opt for a different flavor, perhaps the Hawaiian classic since it was pretty good as a wrap. The spicy ponzu bowl I thought was fairly salty since I went with their "medium" amount of sauce. If you don't like too salty opt for light. But then it might not be enough flavor for your poke bowl. Overall, the poke wasn't bad. It's in MA and the fix for poke is there if you need it. The location has the option for street parking or public parking if you follow the signs. It's also not the greatest place to bring a big party in due to lack of seating. Wish I was able to give half stars. I rate this place a 3.5 star. Poke on. Cheers.

Yelp
Great new spot in David Square and first real Poke place in the Boston area. I just got home from their opening night and they did not disappoint. I was daring and created my own Poke bowl while my sister and her friend ordered the Hawaiian Classic. The raw fish was fresh and had good flavor and the toppings were all fresh and clean. We felt that the rice to fish/topping ratio could be better-- there was a little too much rice for the amount of fish and toppings but we were still happy. The Hawaiian Classic compared to my DIY Poke was a little bland and just looked/tasted like there was something missing. It was good but I was not blown away by it. My DIY however had much more toppings and ingredients in the sauce so I enjoyed the more complex flavor. I also liked how the sauce smother the rice a little. I like a little heat so I added jalapeños and got the spicy ginger sauce and my bowl seems perfect for me. You can pretty much customize anything so don't be hesitant to change it up a little. I will definitely be returning as long as they keep the ingredients and the raw foods fresh. Great place for quick grab lunch or dinner. Very friendly staff with smiles all around! **Update- Since opening, I have returned a few times and this is more for the business owner. -- I would really recommend making the sushi cubes smaller (at least for the salmon and tuna). The chunks are too big and are not considered "bite size" considering they are meant to be eaten by the fork full or burrito bite. I would also recommend mixing the sushi rice around more before putting it in the bowl to help it not clump when it cools down. I have on every occasion found myself trying to separate the sushi rice clumps at the bottom of my bowl and it doesn't really come apart easily. Just some thoughts! The little things are what keeps places busy. :)

Yelp
Talk about deliciousness in a bowl! I used an app called AllSet to place an order; amazing App by the way, and unfortunately upon arriving, my dish was not even prepared. However with some waiting, I returned to pick up my food and I will have to say the freshness and deliciousness of my food made up for the lost time. If you are a big sushi fan or are craving something a little healthier, this place does not disappoint. I would certainly give it a shot again, hopefully they commit to the pick up time because parking in that area is very difficult and can be a challenge depending on congestion.

Yelp
I quite disappointed in the service. I ordered ahead of time via DoorDash so that I could just come in, pick up and leave. Not to stay inside for a longer period of time then necessary. When I got there, I was told there was a issue printing my order but it'll be a minute. The staff started my order but then put it aside and proceeded to serve walk-in customers. I waited 10 more minutes as I see walk-in customers (at least a dozen) continue to get their orders before my order was eventually completed. The food was average compared to other poke places.
