Best Cuban Food in Atlanta | Eater Atlanta

"A sit-down restaurant toward the back of the Politan Row food hall in Dunwoody, Mamacita’s is owned by Dominican brothers Giby and Hochmael Abreu, who grew up eating Cuban food — the two islands are neighbors. Grab a seat at the bar and order a cocktail and a thin steak smothered in onions, which comes with rice and beans. The croquetas arrive five to a serving with a side of Thousand Island-style dipping sauce, and the most popular cocktail (while tropical, it’s not actually Cuban) seems to be the Mami colada, a piña colada for two served inside a pineapple." - Allison Ramirez

I visited Delilah Soul Food kitchen in Politan Row. I got the Fried Chicken, yams and collard greens. Although the food wasn’t the best, Politan Row was a vibe! There are several other food stalls in Politan Row that I plan to visit soon! The bar was big and nice, the sports bar Streakers and Okay Annie Cocktail Bar looks really nice!! I plan to come back, and visit other places!

My husband and I went to Politan Row for lunch. We chose to eat at Bussin Jerk ATL. We ordered the Jerk lemon pepper wings which comes with fries, Jerk nachos and the oxtail egg roll. The food was flavorful, nice portion size and presentable. The customer service was great too. The atmosphere was nice, quiet and clean.

Politan Row at Ashford Lane is hands down one of the coolest additions to the Perimeter area. It’s like stepping into a vibrant, upscale food hall with options for every kind of craving. Whether you’re in the mood for tacos, ramen, bao buns, or craft cocktails, you’re covered—and everything is beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is modern, clean, and super inviting. There’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, making it great for date night, catching up with friends, or even remote work with a bite on the side. The layout is open but cozy, with each vendor having its own unique vibe. What makes Politan Row really stand out is the quality and variety. I tried a mix of dishes—bao from Tyde Tate, tacos from Pretty Little Tacos, and some fresh sushi—and every bite was on point. Plus, the central bar is a nice touch if you’re looking for craft cocktails or just want to chill. Customer service is friendly and efficient across the board. Everyone seems genuinely excited to be there, which adds to the good energy. Highly recommend if you’re in the area or just want to try something new. It’s like a food adventure without having to leave town.

Great options. Right by perimeter mall. Nice food variety. A little pricey but I don’t mind paying extra because it’s super cute inside. The bar is huge with lots of top shelf liquors.

This is my first time and the place is absolutely gorgeous. King made sure to come around and check on us. The atmosphere and people are amazing. The drinks are delicious. Whenever at the bar ask for Yvette. She is so sweet and delightful.

We ate at multiple places in this location, from Bucatini to Sheesh. I highly recommend trying it!! There is a cuisine for everyone!! The food is excellent, the service is somewhat self-service but they cooked it fast. There is a lot of loud noise that makes it to where you have to yell at times. The bathrooms are interesting and nice!!

The two of us got there at noon on Sunday afternoon. This time of day it was very quiet Most restaurants had been open 30 minutes to an hour. We ordered from Master Pho Vietnamese. And we both ordered a build your own bowl since that was a healthy option. Food was made fresh and was generous & very good. They only got four stars because they were out of fried rice and shrimp, two things that we wanted to order. Politan Row was laid out well and very clean and it's some place I'd like to go back to. Lots of other choices to explore on another visit.

We tried Politan Row for the first time for music bingo. It’s a crazy place…you walk in and there’s a huge bar with all the food stalls. Then there’s a club/hidden bar? It was a little disorienting and VERY loud. The food was delicious though!! We tried Sheesh and Tacos El Kohuich. I thought all the dishes were somewhat pricey, but my Greek plate came with a lot of food. And there’s obviously lots of options since there’s tons of different vendors. I would want to go back for the food, but the atmosphere was kind of unenjoyable. The “club” was so loud doing karaoke at 6:30 on a Thursday…we couldn’t really hear the music bingo.

Yelp
First timer here. Of course it's located inside of Politan Row at Ashford Lane so if you're not familiar with vibes... GO! I loved the service, they were very helpful with all of my questions and the food was amazing. I got the Fire Roasted shrimp with a Greek salad and Bamati rice and lemon & herb tahini sauce on the side. It was so good! I enjoyed my meal & will definitely be returning!

Yelp
The food was okay.. it's taste on the level of a mall food court. The wrap was a little on the dry side. The flavor wasn't as abundant as standalone restaurants.
