"Pollini at Ladbroke Hall is an Italian restaurant based in Ladbroke Grove. Using only seasonal and carefully sourced ingredients, Emanuele Pollini's dishes are inspired by his grandmother's cooking from Emilia Romagna. Awarded 3-Forchette by Gambero Rosso. Dining room curated by contemporary artists with site-specific works. All-day menu with homemade panini, salads, smoothies. Brunch on the weekends. Enjoy Ladbroke Hall's historic spaces, live events, garden and Carpenters Workshop Gallery shows."
"The former head office of car manufacturer The Rootes Group is perhaps not where you’d expect to find an Italian restaurant, but Ladbroke Hall is no ordinary venue. Located at the top of Ladbroke Grove, it’s a restored Edwardian building that is now a haven for artistic types, holding exhibitions, workshops and music events within its century-old walls. The cooking is textbook Italian, with an ingredient-led simplicity and terrific homemade pastas such as spinach and mozzarella tortellini." - Michelin Inspector
"Ladbroke Hall is an arts club with a spectacular, dimly lit restaurant, where tweezered-to-perfection modern Italian dishes are eaten beneath sculptural mesh chandeliers and surrounded by hulking columns. But if you can embrace the slightly cold, museum-like feel of this Notting Hill dining room, Pollini is an impressive place to eat. Touches like the flickering candles, friendly service, and piles of jade, velvet cushion make it a great date night spot for couples who fancy treating themselves, and showing off their new cashmere roll necks. The food is excellent, particularly their take on lasagna—small parcels of pasta, one filled with béchamel and one filled with ragu, with crispy shards of ragu balanced on top. Those who like their restaurants aesthetically pleasing and food creative, will find lots to enjoy here. photo credit: Melisa Coppola" - Sinéad Cranna
