Overall, I'd rate this spot a (7)... Everything was consistent across the board.
There was a plate called Parillada Grande at $62 and we chose the half-plate version for $31, but we were charged approximately $37 (excluding drinks)... Now it's possible the cheese was a separate charge, if so, then we were charged approximately $35.
Either way, pretty large discrepancy.
With all that said, the service was very good and the server was rewarded with a 30% tip.
Half Chicken (7.5): Breast was moist and tender, Leg (7) was semi-tender, Thigh (6) was surprisingly dry... The Wing (6) was dry. The taste overall was fairly seasoned.
Asada (6): half were tastier than others, the bottom closer to the skillet had more taste, otherwise bland... Semi-tender
Charlotte Beans (7.5): Were tasty with bacon. Even better when combined with rice.
Rice (6): sticky, soft, but lacked seasoning.
Mexican Sausage (6): tasted and was consistent like a pork hot dog.
Jalapeno/Cheddar Sausage (7.5): Good Taste and juicy.
Corn Tortillas (5): Store bought.
Cooked Onion (7.5) wrapped in foil. Seemed grilled and steamed once wrapped. Much better than the onions on skillet.
Grilled Jalapeno (8): enhanced taste and was not as hot.
Green Sauce (8): great consistency, tasted slightly spicy, and enhanced food.
Atmosphere (7): was packed and had a great feel, the vents were dirty, and the water stain on some of the ceiling tiles kind of took away from the vibe.
May go back to try other items, but would not go out of the way for them.
