Celebrity Masterchef 2020 BBC One: Amar Latif and Lady Leshurr | Eater London

"A Notting Hill eatery that has since closed, it was used in the episode as part of the catering/filming locations. Critics grouped it with other London restaurants that they felt compromised their standing by appearing on the show, treating the venue as a spot enlisted for entertainment rather than celebrated for its food." - James Hansen

"Linked to Ruth Hansom, whose planned restaurant—proposed after winning the BBC series Million Pound Menu—has repeatedly been delayed and has yet to open, leaving the project perennially forthcoming." - James Hansen

Nandine Restaurant in Camberwell Reviewed by Jay Rayner at the Observer | Eater London

"A California-inspired Bayswater restaurant whose borderline frenetic service makes relaxing difficult, even though the cooking often impresses. High points include a posh tian of crab with watermelon and confit egg yolk that balances sweetness, freshness and richness; perfectly judged halibut with Jerusalem artichokes lifted by a fennel broth and chervil oil; and a strong monkfish with corn and oxtail. Other plates are less successful — a miserly tomatoes/watermelon/feta assembly, bruised mashed avocado and an eel dish that struggles to cohere — leaving the meal a curate’s egg that could benefit from calmer front-of-house execution." - George Reynolds

I had a great breakfast experience. Staff were really friendly and efficient. Good menu choices. Lovely garden seating area. We asked for the heaters to be turned on so we could sit in the garden, this was done with no complaints. The food was great and I'd return for lunch or dinner.

Very tasty food. Nice mix of choice including a few mexican dishes like ceviche. Chicken was overpriced with a weird fish sauce that did not go together. Desert was awesome (Apple with ice cream) All in all a nice atmosphere with lovely staff and a great place for brunch/lunch. Would go again once they change the chicken price and sauce.

Great atmosphere and service. Food can be hit or miss depending on your taste, but overall quality is exceptional. Will accommodate for your requests. Great place for a business dinner, or wedding dinner (been here for both occasions) A bit on the pricy side.

Great restaurant in London with a nice interior and reasonable priced food. The waiters are very friendly and it is also ideally for babies. Great also to have brunch or lunch. Prices are reasonable for the area and the service. Totally recommend.

@rondamakan Day 4 food-vent. I am so excited. I have felt that the last few months have been quite mediocre with more misses than hits with my new eats and I have been contemplating riding out this food-vent calendar with a liquid heavy diet. But Someone is definitely on the lookout for my liver and delivered @pomonaslondon - to my doorstep!! This big, fuzzy, loving burst of happy Mexi-Cali sunshine drew a goofy, contented smile on my martini-infused brain and I am still having little bubbles (none at brunch sadly) of *aaaaahhhhhh* hours on I wanted to hold out on this gem for as long as I could for selfish reasons but my Christmas spirit trumps (hah, I would build a wall around this place!). Day 4 food-vent has set the standards high with 21 more sleeps to Christmas. The going may be tough but more than a few first-world issues definitely solved today. @rondamakan

Went here for lunch, such a beautiful, bright and fun space! Cocktails were fantastic and the menu had a nice range of options from shaken to more spirit forward drinks, great beer/wine options as well. It was raining on and off so we dined indoors but the back garden area looked like it would be amazing on nice days. Attentive service and just an overall lovely experience from start to finish. We each got a different fancy toast and both were spot on delicious. One of my favorite meals in London, highly recommend!

Amazing private engagement party in their patio. Drink and food menus displayed. Flowers delivered from neighboring company. Professional staff and attention to guests well-received.

After a long day of work we went to Pomono’s for dinner. That was a good decision. The atmosphere, the staff, the food.... it was all wonderful. Also the way the food is served was very nice. When you are in the neighborhood you should step by for a wonderful meal.

Yelp
We found them online while looking for restaurants near Bayswater, they were able to seat a party of 7 at 9pm and our table was ready as soon as we walked in. We ordered scallops, squid and tuna crudo to start and enjoyed each. While the starters were small, one long tentacle of grilled squid and a handful of small scallops, they were very nice dishes and our party enjoyed them. The mains came out next, after a bit long wait, but it was well worth it. The steaks were cooked to perfection, the peppercorn sauce was excellent and the greens complemented the meat dishes nicely. Really excellent dinner. My compliments to the owners, it seemed like a new place, and while there were definitely growing pains as the staff gets up to speed with service, the food was excellent and we would definitely return. A special shoutout to the bartender, didn't get his name, but he did an excellent job handling drink requests for a bunch of Americans who enjoy their alcohol. Even for drinks he hadn't heard of, he pulled it off, and was absolutely superb. Great job! Good luck to this wonderful new addition to the neighborhood!

Yelp
Slow, sneering service from amateurish staff who seem like recently let go estate agents or wannabee reality tv stars, quipping for hidden cameras ("hi, we've asked for the bill four times, is it possible to pay?" "oh, well five is the magic number here so i'll send it right over".. he's so happy with his comeback that still no bill comes). The food is good although the portions are miniscule and the pricing erratic - dishes are all either less than you'd expect or else (generally) way more. The decor is bright, someone has gone on holiday to Venice, California. This restaurant feels a lot like whoever runs it is still on holiday. Shame, but with Farmacy, Jusu, Grainger, West Egg and Farm Girl all nearby, there are plenty of better options.

Yelp
I live right next door and used to go to Commander which used to be at this location. I want to like it because the location is convenient, the space is great/child friendly and the food is good. That said, the portions are small, the service is slow and the prices are high. I hope it gets better and will give it another chance before giving up on it.

Yelp
We live in the area and love going to Pomona's for breakfast/lunch on the weekends. This spot is definitely one of the best in the neighborhood - I would definitely recommend going. They usually can fit you in without a reservation but they also can accommodate big groups which is a plus.
