They have an amazing selection of graphic t-shirts! The store itself is very aesthetically pleasing and they wrap some of the shirts up like a vinyl cd cover. I bought a shirt for my friend and the staff kindly wrapped it for me. I will definitely purchase from them again :) BONUS: They collaborate with local and Japanese artists and their factory is located in L.A.!

The one that stood out to me was the 'Ramen Shirt' because I'm a foodie so I just had to get it! Most of their designs are more pop culture influenced though. It's a little pricy at around $30 for a shirt, but it's unique and I'm here to support. They also have a second store with even more fashion choices just two stores away too!

Stumbled upon this store while exploring Little Tokyo. Absolutely love the selection of products here highlighting some amazing artists. Found one of my favorite designs I've ever seen and bought a sweatshirt with this. Highly recommend!

This store is so aesthetically pleasing. I spent a good 20 minutes in this store because of how cute it looked. They have a great selection of t-shirts. I had trouble deciding which ones to buy because everything was SO CUTE. I recommend stopping by. I'll definitely come again next time.

I love this store. I recently bought a shirt and love that it's 100% cotton. I've worn the shirt a few times and got so many compliments. The art is a random anime drawing and is not part of any show or manga but people always try to guess who the character is. The shirt also has already been washed and it still is vibrant. I love that faded look anyway so I think after a few more washes it will have that vintage worn look. Also ask for the stamp card bc you get a free shirt when you buy I think 10 shirts. Nice, friendly and helpful staff too! I can't wait to get more shirts here.

Love pop killer ! I use to shoot here A lot as as a teenager all the way through college especially since I came to school very nearby. They have a very cute arrange of collectibles, tees, novelty etc I highly recommend they sell lots of cool treasures you will not find elsewhere!

I took my cousin shopping with me here. Unfortunately her dog just died. She found a patch that had little feet prints on it in Japanese writing she asked does it say dog? They told her no it says cat . She was so upset why don't they have any dog stuff ? I told her because this is Little Tokyo. You know the White good luck Cat . All of a sudden she put her hands up and down mimicking the good luck Japanese cat. Yeah that one. Everything in the store so cute. I almost walked out with the Moon cat purrs from sailor moon.

If you want an unique t-shirt try this place! It is always crowded, so be patient. The store is located right in the heart of the Japanese Village in Little Tokyo, They do have unique designs and treat t-shirts like artwork and expensive vinyl. They use various artists and styles, the prices are high though, even for the sale items. They also sell accessories, so if you're looking for a cool present check this place out!

This little store is definitely worth checking out. They sell t-shirts for both men and women in the most unique, quirky designs. They're kinda pricey, but worth the splurge for their interesting designs. Also, staff was helpful and nice.

Although I've moved away from LA, I go to Popkiller every time I visit for their T-shirts. I noticed this time when I was there that the quality of the cotton has really gone down hill. The shirts feel cheap and the neck is the type that stretches as if you were a 12 year old in the 90s roughhousing with your friends and siblings to the point of wearing T-shirt that is off the shoulder. I grew-up in a textile factory aka sweat shop, so I have a thing with cotton. Regardless of the cotton quality my husband and I wanted to support them in the time of COVID. My husband asked if his shirt was pre-shrunken which he was told it was. To our surprise his shirt shrank to a tight fitting, nearly baby-tee for him. $60+ and 670 miles later I was really hoping for soft cotton and a t-shirt that didn't turn into a baby-tee. We also waited in line to get in which was not a big deal to us, but at one point there was 14 people in the small shop and they have a sign that allows 8-9 people in. Because we are conscious of others, I held the line and it was acknowledge by one worker to hold the line. Not quite sure what happened there.

This place is so rad. I love the random Japanese Knick knacks like who needs a flower hat for their dog? But it's really for a cat? Me, I do. Also love how they have vintage shirts and eccentric styles. They keep things Covid safe and staff is friendly. Will be back fo sho.

Quirky t shirt store with designs from independent artists. I got a sweatshirt with a design by Naoshi, a local artist who uses colored sand to make super cute designs (I recommend checking her out on Etsy or Popkiller website). There's really something for everyone, and some strange sexual shit once in a while. We had a fun time browsing here while checking out Little Tokyo, and had a few laughs at the 'Kawaii Drake' shirts. Prices are kind of steep ($30 for t shirts, more for sweatshirts) but that's to be expected, it's not a mass retailer. There are also kid and toddler sizes of some of the designs, which would make for a cute mommy/daddy and me set. The sweatshirt I got is really nice quality, and has not faded after washing. Would definitely come here or go on the Popkiller site for gifts for friends.

Quirky t-shirts packaged like albums? Sold. Passed by this "adult" version of Pop Killer (just a few doors down) a few times and saw a cute shirt of Drake dolled up in Hawaiian gear and knew I had to have it for my sister for an upcoming bday. Even though that was a few months ago, they had plenty in stock...and plenty more than just Drakey-pooh. You could get a Kendrick, even. If you're looking to make a witty statement via the shirt on your back or a gift for a friend that would appreciate such a thing, then POP is the place for you. A little pricey for a shirt ($32), but not when you think of it as a thoughtful present for someone who would be impressed with said thoughtfulness.

Terrible customer service. I purchased a pair of flip up glasses and they never stayed up. I asked for an exchange for another pair and they went into the back and gave me the same glasses back in a bag trying to act like it was a new pair. My friend came into the store to show the quality difference in the ones he had purchased and they said the sale is now final and never gave me another pair. Waist of time, gas, and money.

My husband and I stopped by off of my husband spotting a Wu Tang t-shirt. They have some decent tshirts in here but their women's t-shirt is like little fat boy tshirts. No shape whatsoever. My husband read the post wrong saying buy 3 t-shirt and get one free (but from their clearance rack by the register which is like basic tshirts you can get at like Ross or something and it still says for $9 the shirts are leftovers for what they don't print on) so we ended up buying 4 tshirts and getting a t-shirt from the clearance rack. Wu Tang for my husband, for me: Tupac, Drake and the "thrasher" one. The shirts were $28 each. The quality of the shirt could be better for that price. One thing I do like is how they package their tshirts like records.

On my first visit here I was really entertained by the shirt designs. They have some interesting takes on some really great themes and concepts. They had a buy two shirts and get one free deal that we totally took advantage of. They have shirts, tank tops and some kids stuff so they have a little bit of everything. Great quality and cool shirts so stuff isn't necessarily cheap here but totally awesome so it's worth it. This place attracts a crowd, I can see why. I definitely be coming by again to see what new stuff they have for the future.

Two words - tshirts folded and shaped to look like vinyl covers. Ok, maybe that wasn't two words, and not even three words, but it's Monday morning and I am too sleepy to comprehend how many words I will be writing. However, what I can comprehend is that yesterday I went into the coolest store ever. Yes it's only a t-shirt store; so you'd think you would be entering a boring store like every other tshirt store out there, with boring sad tshirts hanging on plastic hangers...but this store completely blew me away with its creativity. Let me repeat, their tees are shaped to look like record covers. You will find no boring tees hanging on hangers here. At first I did think that POP was a music record store mainly because of the name to begin with, but also because of the presentation and the lay out. It looks exactly like Amoeba or any store that sells records pretty much, but after picking up a couple of the "records" with funny phrases like "I'd rather be high" or "I'm with psycho" it kind of hit me...wait this can't be a record, what kind of music is this?!?!?! And then when I saw a size I was like wait these are shirts?!?!?! Yes maybe I am a little slow, and perhaps you will realize that it's a tshirt store right off the bet, but I had no idea which is exactly what I think POP was going for; and they achieved it well. Definitely stop by here if you need a couple of casual tees with catchy sayings and quotes or just if you feel like browsing around and having a good laugh. Guaranteed if you don't buy anything you'll still get a giggle from some of the phrases on the shirts. Stupid pot head humor, but hey who doesn't like that every once in awhile.

I stopped by this store on a whim after spotting a t-shirt that I've been wanting to get my bf for ever! This store has extremely adorable shirts, tanks, and sweaters with unique designs for ladies, gentlemen, and children. All their shirts are packaged like vinyls and each design is available on multiple colors. They're even put out like vinyls so you have to flip through them! The price can be a little more expensive for a t-shirt with an image, but I think it's definitely worth it! After buying 1 shirt, I felt like I wanted to buy a bunch more! Maybe another day. The service is also great. The guy was able to help me find the exact color for the design I wanted, in the size I needed...really quickly. I'll definitely be taking more time to come back and slowly browse around some more. Although the store is kind of small, there are so many things to pick from! Can't wait!

Their merchandise is fine for what it is. My main issue is that they're only friendly to white people. Noticed this on a couple of trips I've made there. Considering this place is owned by people of color, I expected better.

This is the PopKiller shop with the tees (the other one has more kitschy items and accessories). I love the PopKiller brand. They have the cutest graphics on their shirts and apparel! I've recently grabbed a pink beanie from them with "Ninja" in katakana. Adorable!

This store carries some of the coolest graphic tees in the heart of Little Tokyo. I've been coming to this area for twenty years, and I never really paid attention to the clothing stores, just to come to eat and checked out the Gundam collections. Anyway, just recent years I've been digging some graphic tees or some of it reminds me of the 90s. Therefore this store that really appeals to me. They got some old reference to 90s in some of their graphic tees. Anyway, as I got into the store, I felt like a caveman checking out every walls that has racks of shirts and I had to literally look up if they got ones in the ceiling. I cannot remember that part because of the hot weather today. Anyway, the person in the front desk was courteous to pointed out which graphic tees are for men and which rack that's on sale. Unfortunately, I could not get the size that I wanted from the sale rack because they ran out, so instead I got myself a pair with the original price. But then again, I am happy with what I got because those are the ones I wanted to buy too. I did not know the Popkiller has two outlets and got some lovely people that there. I almost fell in love with both ladies, but I had to step back.

The newest creation from the Popkiller family, POP Little Tokyo specializes in T-Shirts made in Downtown LA by local creative artists, then packaged like a vinyl LP cover. Shirts are hung on both walls of the store, along with some assorted pieces on racks for your wearing pleasure. POP Little Tokyo also plays with customer design, silk screen printing, and digital printing. Within 23 steps of the Popkiller Second store on E 2nd Street, it's hard to pass this one by without at least taking a look inside. I didn't see too many designs that made me do a double take. However, there were a few gifts and accessories, like this Otamatone. I've seen a few of these on Amazon.com, but never in person. It's this cool musical instrument developed in Japan by the Cube Works Company. The Otamatone is shaped like a musical note and acts as a singing toy that's played with two hands. One hand holds and squeezes the head, while the other hand controls the pitch of the tune by sliding your finger up and down the stem. The sound produced by this device mimics a theremin or a synthesizer. Until, I can find a T-shirt that I can call my own from POP Little Tokyo, I'm just going to KEEP CALM AND DRINK SAKE. 23 steps from POPKILLER on 2nd st. This Pop just just as cool as Popkiller but focuses on fun tshirts and less knicknacks. There are a lot of funny and japanophile tshirts in here. Makes for some great gifts. I'll be browsing around here again next time I'm in the area. Official grand opening is January 11 from 6p-11p. DJs, refreshments, mochi. Mochi!

+ Simply designed store + Tons of choices + Sale rack has good prices - Quite pricey for an average tshirt I found this store after coming out of a nearby restaurant. I enjoyed the simple design where everything was neatly displayed for the customer. I found a number of shirts I liked, but sadly I thought they were a bit expensive for an average tshirt. For a more expensive shirt, I would expect something more fitted vs. a "simple rectangular" tshirt. It is a great store however, if that is the kind of merchandise you are looking for.

Cute place to shop for artistic unique n printed clothes! Came here for a release winter clothing line for Sandone got myself a cute "Stacks" long sleeve crop top! I enjoy supporting the graffiti arts. It's raw and so detailed! Anyways this spot has a great collection of that hip, urban colorful vibe. I think I might come back for a shopping spree soon! Ps. I also like the idea of folding the clothes into a record. So 10 to the max on packaging! Like I said this is a very unique spot to shop! Pop pop pop.....lol!

Me and my boyfriend found this place after getting lunch and bubble tea from the nearby location. At first the store looked cool and we decided to take a look. But the employee ignored us even when we walked into an almost empty shop browsing around for more than 10 min. I felt like I was treated like an invisible person. So one star for their service. Also, the shirts are rather overpriced for the quality so we won't be coming back to this place.

I've never seen a t-shirt seller like this. T-shirt designs that are trendy, kooky, nerdy, but not over the edge, and not 'trying too hard'. You've never seen anythign like it. My favorite t-shirts come from POP. The design stays fresh after repeated washings, and the base shirt is 100% cotton, feels like the ones from American Apparel, and is very soft and high quality. The women's cuts are true to size and flattering. Can be a bit pricey, but completely worth it. I love this place.

I wanted this hat I saw there earlier in the week. But, when I got there, they had sold the last one. The person working took the time to tell me the artist's name, and she explained how their shirt sizes and fabrics hung/washed/etc. I ended buying a shirt & getting the hat later. Mad helpful peeps. And the shirt is comfy as hell.

Pop killer? More like vibe killer ... While waiting in line to enter the store, a man outside noticed my Oakland Raiders jacket and came up to my friends and I to chat. When the other party left the store, we ended the conversations and walked inside. The woman who let us into the store made a comment along the lines of "dont give him any money, he could be fake". The comment was very uncalled for and threw off my friends and I. The shopping experience felt uncomfortable. It's frustrating to see individuals and stores put down others and dehumanize them based off their irrational and privileged opinions. The man was nothing but kind and just wanted to share some NFL love. During this time, showing human kindness is crucial. I'm giving them one star, cause there is not an option to do less. I won't be coming back to shop for their overpriced jackets. Please do better. Especially because we're in a pandemic, there are no excuses!

Very offended just walked in wasn't greeted even went out of my way to say hello and the lady working didnt even acknowledge me.. I was looking for an outfit for a very special event tonight and actually even felt like a burden. Definitely not spending my money there

LoVE this place! Happened upon this little gem after visiting the Japanese American museum. Was minding my own business, when I walked past the window & saw what at first glance was a Black Flag tshirt... But wait! Those are black cats! Not bars... Its a Black Cat shirt! Punk Rock Irony! I had to go inside. What to my wandering eyes should appear?! Funny T-shirts parodying the Sex Pistols, Ramones, and more. they even have shirts with famous mug shots Prince, David Bowie, Jimi Hendrix) Good times. Something here for the punk rock, music loving, t-shirt wearing people in your life! Oh, and two doors down is Pop Killer 2. Check that out too!!

This place is popkiller t shirts flagship store has ton of amazing graphic t- shirts made by Popkiller. They package each t shirt in 12"x12" incThe whole space looks like vinyl record store! You will find so many cool t shirts with Japanese themed designed by local artists as well as artist from Japan. Price is decent with great quality. Hey also have cool selection of vinyl record as well.

Unique little place in little Tokyo. This is where I get all my unique funny food T-shirts from. Lots of puns. The quality of the shirts are actually pretty good and I believe some of them were made here in LA. At least my last shirt was. Located in the heart of Little Tokyo this place is a must stop for anybody walking off the food belly.

The t-shirts they have here are exactly my aesthetic. The thing is I felt they were a little too pricey; if there's going to be a t-shirt for $40 I better not see some of the threads coming loose, which unfortunately I did see on some of the tees. The actual material of the shirts was nice and I like the fits, so if the prices were better I would be buying lots here.

Was here last week, Cute little shop with so many cool T-shirt designs. Has other accessories and get this, some real vinyl records for sale. Will definitely stop in again when in little Tokyo.

I love this store. Every design seems to be carefully chosen and the eclectic mix is fantastic. The shopkeepers are always chill and willing to share their passion for the collection. The accessories are pretty cool. They have some Old School Vinyl and curate art from local artists as well. I think they've been here at least a year or more and I hope they are here for a long time to come. I look forward to enjoying whatever they come up with next.

POP Little Tokyo is a cute pop culture shop specializing in fun t-shirts shaped like vinyl covers. What a creative idea! There are all types of different shirts for men and women. There's stuff on racks as well. The whole shop was decorated nicely, with some cool music posters on the wall too. I think I overheard the owner/employee say those were for sale too, but you might want to double check! They looked pretty nice! Apparently (according to their sign), they also do custom designs and digital/silk screen printing too. Pretty cool. This place just opened up (literally like ... 5 days ago), so check it out if you're in the Little Tokyo area!

I bought two shirts from here about two years ago. I still wear them today because they have lasted and are of good quality. They have quite a lot of creative shirts, ranging from attention-grabbing to the more humble designs.

love POP always find unique items, there was this really cool tote bag that had different cities on it, some special candle thing that smelled amazing ( super rare from japan ), i walked away with a " Wolf & Man " hoody that I wear all the time now, super comfortable, and a awesome bruce lee T shirt for my nephew. the employees there were super nice as well, each product in the shop has some story which makes it all the more fun. definitely going pop, i guess they are throwing a party soon too , i'm there free beer i heard!!

It saddens me to say that the cashiere at pop killer kills the Christmas spirit there. My husband and I came in to buy some hip t shirts for Christmas and cashier's attitude was awful. Not only he wasn't helful his whole expression was like he didn't wanna be there and was disgusted with the store. The Christmas shopping cheer was gone. A cashier who is unhelpful short without a smile and has a smerk on his face who gives u bunch of attitude ruins the store. Words like "hello" "how can I help you? " "may I help you" weren't in cashier's vernacular; his smile was absent too. Very sad experience. Even though the store has really nice $30 t shirts, cashier's attitude makes me not wanna shop there.

Great store with dope threads by local artists. I have no qualms with the merchandise whatsoever. The designs are very striking and one such immediately caught my eye for my boyfriend, and knew I had to get. This easily would've been 5 stars had the cashier been a bit more knowledgeable about the sizing of his wares. I went in armed with the knowledge that my boyfriend is 6'2 180lbs and wears a size large for t-shirts in every brand out there (Nike, Adidas, lucky brand, j crew, Ralph Lauren etc.). I asked if the shirts were true to size and was given the one word answer "yes." Couldn't have been more wrong. My man's nips could cut diamonds through the shirt. So I went to exchange for an XL...still too small. Went back again and finally got the XXL which worked. Moral of the story: the shirts run very small. If the person you are purchasing for has any pudge and/or muscle, buy a larger size than you normally would.

Went at 9:20 to buy the ramens t shirt but when I entered the store the African American employee freaked out and pointed to the floor and said something about mopping the floor and gave us a dirty look. I don't know if he was joking or what but it immediately put a bad taste in my mouth and I decided to leave instead of buy what I came for. Not what I consider customer service. If you don't want people coming to buy stuff I'm your store you may as well lock the door.
