I biked past Apollonia yesterday and noticed it was new. It looked so nice from the outside that I knew I had to go visit. When I walked in I was greeted with a friendly hello and a large, beautiful interior with loads of plants and eye-catching lighting. I'm not used to having places this nice-looking or large in this area.
There was a sign posted on the door that I briefly looked at before walking in: I discovered later on their website that this is a cafe by day from 7am to 4pm, a wine spot from 4pm to 7pm, and a restaurant with dinner menu from 5:30pm to 11pm.
It's currently past 4 and they've set the tables but not kicked me out so it's still unclear how they plan on doing this transition and if it's different on nights and weekends. Definitely take this schedule into account when viewing the hours on posted on Maps.
Edit: they ask that laptops be closed at 5:30
*Closed Mondays in June 2019*
Breakfast, lunch, and weekend brunch menus are coming soon but no date given.
There are many varied seating options which are all A+: a long bench along the wall to accommodate small groups/tables or several tables placed together (does not seem to have many outlets). A smaller corner by the window has beautiful natural light great for reading (has outlets). A large table with 10 seats is good for sharing space while working and has plenty of outlets but only on the wall side.
Have only gotten a coffee so far but I'm looking forward to coming back!
Edit: they went up to everyone currently sitting here and offered them the leftover pastries that they didn't sell and would otherwise throw away. Never in my life have I experienced this! I assume it won't keep happening for long until they figure out how much to make on a typical day.
