"Apollonia is a restaurant in East Williamsburg from the people behind Walter’s and Karasu, and it’s an attractive space with a mostly-white color scheme, various potted plants, and a little nook at the front where you’ll want to host a dinner party. The menu is Mediterranean, which means that you can eat octopus, pasta, roast chicken, and a little gem salad. Whatever you do, start with the scallop crudo and a plate of serrano ham. Bring a date who appreciates nice-looking places, or just grab a seat the bar, have a snack and a glass of wine, and try to become a regular here." - Bryan Kim

"Meanwhile, East Williamsburg gains an all-day restaurant called Apollonia today, backed by the team behind Walter Foods and Walter’s. The Mediterranean restaurant at 128 Meserole St., on Manhattan Avenue, will be a cafe during the day, with dinner rolling in around 5 p.m. Chef Jordan Heissenberger (Faun, Vinegar Hill House, Buvette) is at the helm, and drinks will lean toward wine." - Carla Vianna

This ambiance is so top notch and order the chicken for super moist yummy lemon chicken! I also had the fried cauliflower which was very simple, not my favorite cauliflower ever. The service is exceptional even if dining alone, they were so nice and answered menu questions. A+ service A+ ambiance!

We were met by excellent service at the door. Were attended to quickly even without a reservation. The staff were not only well informed on the menu but were also extremely welcoming, warm and inviting. The food was very delicious and filling. The venue was cozy and warm. The music was loud enough to enjoy but not loud enough to where you had to speak over it. Friendly environment and the prices are reasonable. I absolutely recommend this place.

I biked past Apollonia yesterday and noticed it was new. It looked so nice from the outside that I knew I had to go visit. When I walked in I was greeted with a friendly hello and a large, beautiful interior with loads of plants and eye-catching lighting. I'm not used to having places this nice-looking or large in this area. There was a sign posted on the door that I briefly looked at before walking in: I discovered later on their website that this is a cafe by day from 7am to 4pm, a wine spot from 4pm to 7pm, and a restaurant with dinner menu from 5:30pm to 11pm. It's currently past 4 and they've set the tables but not kicked me out so it's still unclear how they plan on doing this transition and if it's different on nights and weekends. Definitely take this schedule into account when viewing the hours on posted on Maps. Edit: they ask that laptops be closed at 5:30 *Closed Mondays in June 2019* Breakfast, lunch, and weekend brunch menus are coming soon but no date given. There are many varied seating options which are all A+: a long bench along the wall to accommodate small groups/tables or several tables placed together (does not seem to have many outlets). A smaller corner by the window has beautiful natural light great for reading (has outlets). A large table with 10 seats is good for sharing space while working and has plenty of outlets but only on the wall side. Have only gotten a coffee so far but I'm looking forward to coming back! Edit: they went up to everyone currently sitting here and offered them the leftover pastries that they didn't sell and would otherwise throw away. Never in my life have I experienced this! I assume it won't keep happening for long until they figure out how much to make on a typical day.

Best interior decoration I’ve seen in a Williamsburg restaurant. Food is delicious, portions are small. Halloumi eggs are the best.

Wow - I am beyond impressed with Apollonia. I hosted my birthday dinner at their large table which accommodated my group of 12 without feeling cramped. Ambiance is perfection - lighting was just right and the design is simple and trendy. Great spot for an intimate dinner with friends or a date. As far as food goes, I have zero complaints. Our group ordered just about the entire menu and were impressed with everything. Standouts include the eggplant (seriously, get the eggplant), seasonal pasta, and braised chickpeas. The chef was even kind enough to “veganize” the veggie dishes for our resident vegan (we all know one). Our server Leslie and her team were incredibly attentive, friendly and timed the food service perfectly. For such a new restaurant Apollonia is doing everything right — I highly recommend a visit.

Went here for the second time and loved it! They’ve changed their menu a bit and service is really great. Such a nice energy inside the space and beautifully decorated too. Only thing is that they’re limited on cocktails but the wine menu is great.

Great food and atmosphere! Fried cauliflower and Greek chicken were my faves. All the food is pretty rich. Lamb had great flavor but was all fat. Whipped feta great for larger groups (too much for 2)
