Pope's Pizza

Classy bar and restaurant for a pizza place. Music outside and doors that open when the weather is nice. All around a really nice atmosphere. The pizzas have a real crisp crust, the kind with a slight char on the bottom. We liked the supreme and the chicken pesto. The meatballs and focaccia bread appetizers were solid. The drinks and the service were excellent. Good stuff, just a little pricey for smaller pizzas. We would eat it again.

From the moment we walked into Pope’s Pizza, we were warmly greeted and seated right away. Our server was incredibly attentive—she checked on us often and even brought refills without us needing to ask. We started with the pesto fries, and they were perfect—crispy, flavorful, and a great appetizer. Then came the pizza... and wow. Hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had. The wood-fired crust was perfectly crisp, not greasy or soggy, and the garnishes, including fresh parmesan, added just the right touch. Every bite was packed with flavor. The atmosphere made the experience even better—relaxed and welcoming, with a live performer playing great music in the background. Pope’s is definitely a place I’ll be coming back to. If you’re looking for amazing food and a great dining experience, this is it!

We ordered the Sicilian Meatballs for an appetizer which is a pork and beef blend. It comes in an order of 5. These were nice sized meatballs and were served with a warm red sauce. The meatballs had a little spice to them, but were overall seasoned nicely. For dinner we ordered the Classic Caesar and the Cupped Pepperoni Pizza. The Caesar was a Caesar. The Cupped Pepperoni pizza was a stone baked Neapolitan crust. This is a traditional pizza style from Naples, Italy. The stone helps distribute heat evenly which makes a perfectly cooked pizza, which this definitely was. My wife had a bite and immediately said how good it was and wanted more. (She even ate some later as leftovers, which is huge). Our server, Jacob, was so engaging, personable and just overall wonderful. We spoke with the General Manager, Alex, who informed us that they make almost everything fresh in house. The meat for the meatballs they even grind in house. He said that if they can’t make something fresh in house, that item is made specifically for them. We had a great experience here, and will 100% be back to try more items on their menu. Waitress was awesome! My husband and I tried both the stone cooked pizza and pan and both were great! Loved the flavor of the crust! Ambience is cool as well. Will come back!

Our family loves Pope’s pizza! The food, the atmosphere and the service is great. We love the outdoor area so our toddler can run around and play while we enjoy delicious food. Also, the decor inside is stunning. We’ve been needing a place like this in Green Bay! This is definitely our new favorite spot!

My family and I have visited Pope’s Pizza twice now and both times have been amazing. We could not speak more highly of the food. Pizza is wonderful ( we especially enjoy the crust!!) and the pastas are delicious as well - so much so we plan to return to try more of their options! Service has always been fast and friendly too. They have plenty of outdoor seating and even a space for live music. Pope’s Pizza is the perfect restaurant for date nights, family outings, or just a solid spot to sit down for great pizza and atmosphere. Our only concern is how quiet the restaurant seems to be. We hope that come football season business will pick up for them. It is a wonderful spot with great food, friendly service and in our opinion a great addition to the Titletown district.

Seriously one of the best if not THE best pizza in Green Bay. We had the pepperoni specialty pizza with the hot honey and it was incredible. We had pesto fries which were amazing and the portion was huge. Perfect for the table! Our waiter (Lorenzo, I think), did an incredible job. I left the restaurant wanting to tell friends and family and come back soon. Nothing but good things to say. Visited on a summer Sunday afternoon!

Perhaps the best pizza I have experienced in my 55 years on this earth. The crust on our pepperoni was crisp and airy and just leaves you wanting more. Meatballs for the appetizer were also banging. Sauce should be illegal as it's highly addicting. Wow it's good. I'm hoping it was a busy night as the service was a bit under par. I don't need someone hovering, but a check in now and then would be nice. But again, they may have been busy. Loved the duo playing on stage tonight. Made a really great night even greater.

After hearing good things, I thought I would try it out. We got a pizza and the meatballs with a beer. The meatballs were terrible and mostly left uneaten. The fettuccine noodles were thick and almost chewy. It's different, I'm not sure in a good way. The pizza was okay. The pepperoni is good but the napoleon crust was tough. I didn't like the crust at all. We were able to try a friend's ravioli, it's good but a lemon flavor within. Very different than other ravioli that I have had. While the place is very open inside, it was quiet as we were some of the only guests. If it were busy, I'm guessing it's very loud inside. Simply, for the price vs experience, I won't be rushing back.

Had really high hopes for this place. Food was good, server was very attentive and rounding on us frequently. Only downside is the place was dead - would be really fun atmosphere I'm sure so I hope it becomes more popular!!

Will was an excellent bartender, made us feel welcome in a setting we are not accustomed to! Absolute legend!

Love this restaurant! Perfect place to take the family with fresh flavors and a great drinks! The menu has something for everyone and the service is great. I love the way that the appearance is classic, yet modern. The patio is a great place to sit and enjoy music on the weekends. Love that everything is made in house and the quality of product reflects that!

The ravioli was amazing, as were the truffle mozzarella sticks. And Cayden was an awesome server!
