The level of rudeness and disrespect from the employees here today is startling. After waiting for what felt like 20 minutes for my order, I finally gave someone my name and asked if my mine was ready. They snarkily retorted back with, "Well what did you order?" After describing the chicken meal I had purchased, they handed me the bag, which then lead me to explain that I didn't order it to go but would be eating here. One of the employees then rudely responded that it's "to go only," even though there was no signage indicating that customers cannot eat inside, nor was there anything blocking the booths to prevent people from sitting. At the same time, I also noticed another customer near me trying to place an order, handing over a coupon to the employee behind the cash register as she started to pay. The employee gave her an attitude, stating that they were not accepting coupons today. The customer then accurately responded, "I guess this is rip off day." Again, no signage or any indication at all that coupons were not permitted today. To top it off, as we were leaving, an employee announced to incoming customers that they were now closed. Strangely, as those patrons turned to leave, an employee accepted a different customer who was entering, which seemed to be a slap in the face to the other customers who were told to leave. This Popeyes deserves zero stars, and this team needs some serious training on communication, kindness, and basic manners.
