Absolutely awful. My son placed an order and was told it would take 14 minutes. He politely asked for a refund, was given part of the money back — and then the employee handling it just left for the day. I went inside to resolve it, and the staff basically said, “Nope, can’t help you.” Seriously? The receipt, the info, everything was right there. I ended up pulling out my camera and filming the interaction — only then did they suddenly decide to give us the full refund. We shouldn’t have to film to be treated fairly. This whole situation was ridiculous, unprofessional, and incredibly frustrating. It's all on camera and in the receipts — they had the info the entire time. Hands down the worst Popeyes experience we’ve ever had.

Becareful this restaurant is not giving us the exact amount of food we just orderded food from here and are missing pieces of bread and they gave us a few fries in a familiar meal, no sauces , no napkings

On God I swear they put crack in the food because it's addictive and good. Unfortunately the service is always terrible, and they never listen to your order. Somehow they always get it wrong. Ask for Mashed potatoes they give you coleslaw, ask for coleslaw they give you fries, ask for fries they give you an extra biscuit. Went today, asked for KETCHUP, RANCH, HONEY. They gave me non of that and my Mac&Cheese is half filled. Wtf Popeye's? This isn't the first time they don't give condiments after asking for them.

I made a simple order online for pick up at 5:40 pm. My husband went to pick it up and it was not ready.My husband had to wait for the order to be made. 6:30 pm still waiting. Finally 1 hour later the order was ready. The tenders came out fine but they did not give the sauce we asked for..Our 5 sandwiches were not marked. 3 ghost pepper ones, the spicy one nor the regular chicken sandwiches.So we don't know who got what..Crunchy, greasy, not enough sauce and no spice.. I will never order from this location again. Very disappointing..

SCAM. DO NOT ORDER ONLINE. They will rip you off. Twice we ordered mixed, only to receive dark meat only. The 2nd time we ordered, we were shorted 3 pieces of chicken, got dark meat only, and there were no biscuits. This was an expensive family meal. Tried to call the store, got a full voice-mail/can't leave a message. The help online took 3 days to get back to us, then wanted a picture, of food. They knew we wouldn't have a photo of food we ordered 3 days prior. Just a way to provide no customer service. They told us no photo/no help. COMPLETE SCAM.

I rarely write reviews but this place needs the feedback. Made an order on uber eats.. half the items missing, the items that came were just thrown in the bag not properly wrapped, the drinks were wrong. The people at this place clearly do not give a shit. Absolute worst food I’ve ever ordered

Ordered 12 piece leg and thigh. It should have been $25. Was charged $35. Ripped me off for $10. didn't notice it until I home. Friday at 5:09 pm this little black girl was the one who did it. she was working the drive through window. I hope she enjoys because what goes around comes around. Stealers never get away, although they think they do. That's All.

My first time here. The low ratings made me hesitant but I had a good experience. The Beans & Rice have been and remain fire!! I don't know how or why fast food rice and beans can taste this amazing. Kudos to the Southern chef who created this. Smoky, low key spicy, so rich in flavor. But a fuller serving for a $4 small side would have been better. We got a 6 piece Chicken Tender deal that you had to order on the mobile app. The tenders were big, very crispy, heavily battered and warm. It's a great deal with 2 sides but no drink for $15. I didn't try the mashed potatoes but the gravy was put on the side as requested. The buttermilk and bbq sauces were ok. I dipped my chicken in the bean gravy lol. The biscuits were flaky and fresh but had no taste and were on the small side. Service was sufficient. No greeting but the employees help when needed. There's no public restroom but the place is clean. Don't let the bulletproof glass between you and the employees intimidate you. It just blurs the menu behind it a bit. Not in the area often but I'll be back for my beans & rice! Also want to try their Cajun fries. One star less for not having a public restroom or any seating.

Worse Popeyes ever!!!!! They messed up the Mac n cheese big time.... They use their own recipe none of their food taste like other Popeyes. How you Phuk the Mac n cheese up ‍ y'all should stick to the recipe that the Popeyes use this is the second time this has happened, I will never shop there again food quality and service is garbage.

Worse location to ever order from, order wrong , the new boneless hot wings that's supposed to come with the original hot sauce flavor , had sauce on two of the wings and not even enough sauce in the container to mix and put on the rest of them HORRIBLE! Never again.

Last night I was craving a chicken sandwich and couldn't decide where to get one until I passed by popeyes and I said yup this is the place. This spot is on the corner of Jefferson and La brea and it's got a horrible drive thru, even worse parking spots. As for my experience in the drive thru it was pretty fast and I experienced great customer service. I got the famous Popeyes chicken sandwich the one that went viral a while back but I got mine with bacon and cheese #3 on the menu. I took it home and once opened it see a big piece of chicken in my sandwich and that put a smile on my face. The sandwich was juicy and so much flavor still as amazing as the first time when it came out. Great experience just wish the drive thru was a little more organized it's got two different entrances and both sides trying to make line which makes the parking spot really congested and anyone that's parked can't get out.

Worse Popeyes, bunch of kids working playing. Go to the one on western and mlk. If angel the manager is on duty, he's not in control of his crew. Trust me do not go to this Popeyes.

While it feels odd writing a review for a chain restaurant like this I've got something to say about this one. The wait times are usually abysmal and the staff has an attitude most of the time BUT this is probably the most consistent Popeyes I've been to food quality wise so they can get a plus there.

I love popeyes chicken, but this branch is beyoooond the worst ever. There were 5 delivery drivers waiting and none of the staff were helping them. Orders take around 30 mins. You can see the employees not even having any urgency to prep your order. They are just walking around. Help this branch please!!

I placed a large app order for my friends and I today around 3 PM, with 3 big boxes (2 2-pc, 1 tenders) and 3 chicken sandwiches (1 classic, 2 golden bbq). When I got to the restaurant, it took a while to pick up my order and I immediately noticed that one of the chicken sandwiches was missing. After driving back home (10 miles total!), I then also realized that the contents of the boxes were wrong - none of them were tenders, they were missing sauces and utensils, and my friend's box was supposed to come with mac and cheese (which carries an upcharge...) but instead came with red beans and rice, which my friend actively dislikes. I tried calling the location, but no one was picking up, so I continued to call incessantly for about 10 minutes before someone picked up. I was offered a replacement box the next time I visited, but I wasn't willing to drive another 10 miles for their mistake and wasn't really planning for there to be a next time, so I was advised to request a refund through the app. Fast food workers are now paid $20/hour in California and prices at Popeyes are pretty expensive relative to other fast food. What's the justification for messing up an app order, which lists the items clearly and accurately, this badly at 3 PM on a Sunday, when it's not even particularly busy?

I have to just be thankful the line wasn't too long and they were still open. There wasn't much left of things like the pies, but I got some food and was on my way home. Thank you for being open!

If you want your fried chicken fix, this is it. Food is decent. Service is efficient. I don't like that you can't tap to pay in the drive thru. Never been inside.

I am soooo unhappy. Nothing was good. I got nothing I wanted. I wish I didn't waste my money. 1. Not to bash the young man at the drive thru, but he talks through his teeth and it's difficult to understand him. 2. I wanted the hot wings. They had none. 3. I ordered spicy tenders. I get home, they're regular tenders. 4. I ordered frozen lemonade. They only had regular lemonade because the machine was broken. 5 I ordered red beans and rice.... They're burnt (which I've never experienced)!!! 6. To top it all off.... There's are NO SAUCES IN MY BAG!!! .... Why did he even ask if he wasn't going to put them in there? Who eats regular chicken tenders with no sauce?! 7 for two meals I paid $40 !!!!!!!! Awful.

For some reason, we were talking about who has the best chicken sandwich, and a large amount of people said Popeyes. I remember when there was so much attention given to their sandwich years ago (or what felt like that long ago) so I decided to seek this place out on my own. Last time I was at a Popeyes was in Hollywood, and it was convenient since I lived so close, but I wasn't there for the sandwich. This time, the location I visited was the one on Adams. Driving up wasn't so bad, I got right in the drive-thru line, but wasn't thinking I would be there for about 55 MINUTES. Thank God I didn't have to use the restroom or anything. As a matter of fact, I started reading some of the reviews on this place, where I started slowly regretting coming here as I realize I could not possibly go anywhere since I was about 8th in line, but many, many light years away from getting any food. During this time, I saw about 5 random cars pull into the other entrance, realizing they were at the wrong way for the drive thru, then attempting to park their cars in one of the limited spaces on that side. Actually, parking was not the issue, but getting out would be. I saw an employee there trying to get back in through the back door when nobody would let her in, so she started pounding on the door loudly. Random activity going on by someones car, then someone walks through the lot with a pit bull. Which isn't really out of the ordinary but this seemed to be an ideal setting for a disaster in the making. Finally I get to the window where I just want the #1, classic (when she asked spicy or classic) with fries and sweet tea. I'm just glad they had everything I wanted available, as I hear they often run out of stuff and I would be upset if I was waiting there that long for nothing. After pulling up, I could hear her telling the next person they were out of about half the things they wanted. Cashier was pleasant, and my food was handed over immediately so this was a good thing, and rare since some of these people were sitting at the window for multiple minutes. First off, this drink was not a regular by any means. I don't know if they messed this up with another order, but this drink could have lasted me a week. I ate the fries with ranch, these were fine and not spicy at all. I hate to say this, but the sandwich was alright, alright in the sense where I didn't even finish it. The worst part was realizing I didn't get the biscuit, which I was told was the best part, but no way was I getting back in line for that, I'll just have to take everyones word for it. Although I don't see myself going back, I will admit the service I received was absolutely fine, no issues at all with the exception of the missing biscuit, but I guess the life-size drink kind of makes up for it?

These kids need some serious training. Not only should you check your bag for the presence of the correct food but carefully review the contents of each box to make sure counts are correct. (Learned my lesson due to mistakes in the past) If you ask for "one of each sauce" it's an argument followed by confusion, even when you provide a list lol.

PLEASE CLEAN THE SWEET TEA COOLERS!!! Disgusting 3 times in a row!!!!! Next time I'm taking pictures of the gunk in the cup! GROSS! They make it look so hard. Always a long wait for no reason even when I order on the app. They always get the order wrong. No matter what time of day unless the manager is at the front counter. It's real ghetto. Be prepared.

This is one of the worse popeyes ever. They slow ass hell and they always messing up ppl order. Tonight i order on the popeyes app 5pc chicken and 2 sides order. I order extra fries that was free. I only got the chicken no side order. The only thing they try to offer me is 200 point or $1.90 back. Im never ordering from this location again

i was craving some Popeyes chicken and notice that this location is not safe and so forth. I have been to other locations and it much better. I ordered my food and the customer service was slow in service. The employees are not friendly and once you receive your food it's cold. Not a location I would this location for anyone to pay for the price of chicken.

Fantastic Service, Friendly, and the Chicken Sandwich Classic is sooooo good!! I thought Alexandria was amazing!! She was so friendly, had great suggestions, and made my party order so easy! The chicken is fresh and The Chicken Sandwich AT THIS PARTICULAR LOCATION somehow tastes better than any other location. I swear it's just better here!!! It's worth the drive- Everytime.

This is the worse fast food service I've ever had. I placed an online order for pick up. My order was ready in 10min. I waited about an hour in line and there was many people waiting as well inside. There is no one paying attention to the people inside for pickup orders/ regular orders too. I've waited 1hr two different times ordering from here and my food got cold. There's music being blasted in the back and can't believe no one has called for help if there is help. But this is the worse service and the worse Popeyes to order from. DO NOT ORDER OR COME HERE EVER! Very poor customer service. I hope POPEYES COME AND FIX THIS INE PLEASE. You need new management here.

The Chicken was OK but the crew specifically the Spanish guy is too rude and stupid with a very bad English accent who makes fun of Peoples's accent and directly insult them. He is rather short with small eyes! Rude and almost 50 years.

Very disappointed with the lack of meat on the chicken, the amount of skin hiding the lack of meat, the lack of biscuit fluffiness, and overall hardness of biscuit. It is so common for fast food restaurants to be placed in areas where skin melanin reigns prominent. And it's commonplace to serve substandard meals. I'm done with Popeye's on Labrea Avenue @ Jefferson, and their owners should be ashamed of their lack of product presentation. I'm sure if it were a Chick Filet at this location, the community would be better served (at least the 1st year or two). Done with lack of pride and serving 2, 2-piece boxes (not combos) for $27.00 of inedible bones with a slight bit of meat. No pride in taste or desire to respect food originally introduced in Louisiana. Appalling.

This review is directed to management and all owners: This is by far the worst location I have ever been to. Your employees are miserable and it shows in the lack of customer service. Give employees tools that work. The drive thru speaker doesn't work well, and either the employee speaks in a hushed tone, or the technology is simply old and broken. They ran out of Mac and cheese. On a week night at 2pm. Why?! Where is management taking accountability for inventory or keeping employees on task. Every time I've gone to this location it's one thing or another and employees giving customers attitude is a reflection of management not training or giving employees the tools and resources they need. It's an ongoing theme at this location.

Bad service and poor customer service they are rude biscuits are hard I ask for honey for my biscuit. Did I get it? I ordered red beans and rice. Did I get a spoon when I came back to get the spoon the lady treated me like I was a homeless person and wouldn't open the window cracked the window to hand me my spoon through the crack I was very uncomfortable and felt like she was judging my hair because I do have Locks in my hair and I just got out of my car and I have my work uniform on and I just will never come back to this location again I don't wanna give it. One star is a negative.

Worst Popeyes ever!! Don't order on any 3rd party apps! They never get your order right, if your order makes it to your place! I've had my order canceled multiple time and I'm just done with this place! Save yourself and the driver some time and money and order somewhere else! GET YOUR SH*T TOGETHER POPEYES!!

There were so many things wrong with my last order here. Not only did I not receive the correct items but some of the ones that I'd been charged for and requested were not in the bags that I was even. The person I spoke with when I placed my order and the one that I received the order from were 2 different people. They didn't communicate with one another at all. We were at the pick up window when they told us that they were out of certain sides and biscuits. Talk about really inconvenient! The person at the pick up window had so much of an attitude and they were very rude when yelling at us to move our car forward more because of a security type of window situation that they had and therefore unless we moved the car up further the window would not be able to open properly. I mean, I get it NOW but . . . the attitude needs to go. And not having the sides and what not, you really do need to communicate this to your staff so they won't take orders assuming you have all you need in the store. If we hadn't been more flexible we probably would have not completed our order here. We were the only car in line but I tell you, we waited a good long time for our order to be taken, to receive our food, and all that. I was NOT pleased at all with this visit and based on this one and only visit, I will NOT be coming back here anytime soon if ever again unless for some strange reason my uncle absolutely HAS TO HAVE Popeye's and isn't able to get it himself.

STAY AWAY at all costs, whether you're picking up or ordering through third party apps. They treat everyone like shit (more than Popeyes usually does at all locations). Usually you will see half a dozen pissed off delivery drivers in a small space , since the employees don't have the common curtesy to even acknowledge their presence. This often results to drivers canceling your order, which means even longer wait time for you as a customer. The corporate may wanna do something about this, since this place is being run like a train wreck.

Went to drive thru and ordered then was told they had no pies cooked so I'd have to go back around and drive thru again while they cooked 4 for me. Went back around placed my order and i paid and only received 2 pies. After all that mess they shorted me. Worst Popeye's ever been to.

One Star is too go for this place. The worst customer service and the chicken is awful. There is always something missing from a simple order. It's time to stop patronizing bad food restaurants. Folks, do yourself a favor and let this Popeyes Close down. Most franchises are closing anyway.

I had been wanting to try this place for a while! I was so disappointed, my order was wrong and the attendant was rude. 1st they tried to over charge me 5 dollars for a different order. When I repeated my order at the window the amount was corrected then they still proceeded to give me the wrong order. I realized until I got home... unfortunately I'm allergic to pork and was unable to eat the sandwich I was given. I was too tired and it was too cold and far for me to go back.

No blacked chicken strips at 12noon is crazy. And whoever was working the window had an attitude.

first off, i sat in the drive-thru for nearly 20 minutes b4 ever speaking to anyone to order. i began to honk my horn because they took so long to even move one person from the drive-thru no exaggeration! once, i got to the speaker to order, some girl started telling me "how i knew i was doing to damn much honking!" i told her, had she been sitting in this line for 20 minutes, and by the time i got to the speaker, it was more like 35!! they, claimed they were short staffed but they had at least four to five people in the store! and, at least 10 people walked in, got their food, and drove away or sat in their cars eating!! needless, to say i was pissed!!!! i told them so at the speaker!! then, the woman taking my order was still talking shit to me & cursing about how i shouldn't be honking! i told her she should sit in this long long and wait for 20-30 mins like i had and then tell me that bs! once, i began to order, she suddenly told me that they didn't have wings, not that i planned on allowing a bunch of people to take my order who had been talking crap to me this entire time!! if, all of this wasn't bad enough, i latino man came outside to see who was actually honking. then, went back inside, got on the speaker and told me to go somewhere else and not to order there! i told him that was exactly what i planned to do!!! everyone, in this store got on the speaker system and said whatever they felt like saying being rude, unprofessional,and buligerant! meanwhile,not a one of them had an actual right to be!! considering, how freakin long it took them to get the people out of their drive-thru!!! it's,a wonder how popeye's even still has a business!!! with,a bunch of lazy, disrespectful asses like them!! i cursed them out thoroughly because they all deserved it!! i will never go to another popeye's as long as i live!! you can put your last dollar on that one!! i hope they all get transferred and forced to retrain! because they all should've lost their jobs for this kind of behavior!! to many entited adult,child like grown people working for a company that is customer service based, and they have "no clue" what good customer service is!!! i also plan to contact their corporate office on this one and i told them so! then,they all suddenly went silent! i'll,bwt they're spending lots of time now trying to change the story and conjure up their lies to pretend it was all the customer. knowing, it was all caused by their extra sloppy, poor,slow customer service in the drive thru!!! everybody, in their store was talking some kind of trash on the speaker!! let's, see how many of them tell the "truth" now when they are called to the carpet for their bs service!! it, occured at about 7:30 pm dec. 8, 2024....i didn't reach the actual window until 8:05 pm!!! i know because i was timing them!! they, should all be fired!! and, sent to disneyland where people will rarely see them!! #popeyessucks #neveragain!

Attention for DoorDash drivers. DO NOT PICK UP FROM THIS POOPEYES. They can't to do fast order, and need wait more 10-20 minutes. They also didn't give me order, because someone before me picked up this. Consultants are rude and will not order again.

The young lady who took my order was pleasant and apologetic when informing me they only had wings and no other regular chicken pieces and it would take 25 minutes to make the other pieces. That was fine, but I didn't get my full order and your phone number isn't get up to leave messages. If I wasn't at home, I'd drive back over there, but it isn't worth my time....!!

Very disappointing . Stood in line for 10 minutes .. no help for the people in front of us ... so i decided to place a mobile order thinking it was gonna be faster ... NO waited another 40minutes just to get our order at that i had to speak up or else they wouldn't help . 5 people doing the drive thru orders ?? & no service, no attention, no "we'll be right with you" for us 6 customers plus the ones that left bc they didn't wanna wait . I don't think I've ever seen so many 1 star reviews on a business that's still open. One more bad review for the books: TERRIBLE customer service and attitude. No thank yous or "pull up to the window" and seemed irritated at ME because THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE FISH SANDWICH, APPLE PIE, LEMONADE, OR FRIES (at 5P) Waited so long at the order box I thought it was broken and needed to wait for the 2 cars in front of me to order at the window. The window is blacked out and blocked, so you can't see the employees you're dealing with (see photo) And I don't know how they got an A grade with all these sanitary violations (see photo). Wish I would have seen that first before ordering because now I'm toasing it out and hwaded to the Popeyes on LaBrea and Centinela. Popeyes Labrea and Washington - how do I get my $16 back??

Whoever works this locations doesn't give afff...they intentionally ruin orders. I ordered extra pickles on a couple sandwiches & they literally sent one of them in a BAG full of pickles. I don't give bad reviews but tbh I want to run up on the drive thru & dump a bucket of pickles on 'em cause it was inedible. Sad that you hate your life enough & haze zero spine to do that to a postmates order

This place needs to be inspected and shut down! I got food poisoning here. Immediately became super bloated with just the chicken sandwich that was served room temperature. I received cold fries instead of the biscuit I ordered. A few hours later I got super bloated, nauseated, aches, and threw up a ton. This place is a danger to the community. Please I'm warning you from the poor service to the dangerous food don't come here.

My first experience was good here the last time. We came here a second time and the employees were rude to us. They said they ran out of breasts and asked us would we like to wait 25 minutes. and i said no. So i take our orders to go, and i am missing our biscuits, fries, they gave us the potatoes we asked with the chicken. Lesson learned. Might not be coming back here again.

Employees behave in very unnecessary ways. and extremely slow. He has absolutely unnecessary behavior and harsh reactions. Especially a slightly overweight black girl employee is shouting unnecessarily.

So, I decided to stop here on my way home from the beach since I have no close Popeyes near my house. I ordered the feast meal. I get home, open the bag, and it's missing the 2 chicken sandwiches it's supposed to come with....sooo frustrating since it's 30 minutes away. There's no way I'm driving back that far . I almost feel like reversing the credit card charge... I don't know...just annoyed!

Last week went to popeyes on la brea and jefferson, this chicken is so disgusting no more louisiana smell or taste no visual nor can you smell anything no taste it. I TRUST WILL NOT BE.BACK especially the amount they are charging for that taste n flavor yulk! Won't be back .
