This store is an excellent place and I have had great experience here with the food as well as the manager of Popeyes is Mr. AHMAD who is extremely friendly, gentle as well as very helpful towards his customers and also his service is excellent whenever me and my friends are visiting at his store. I would definitely give a 5star and would also recommend others to give 5 star ratings and also to visit this store. Outstanding place and the service is excellent as well. Highly recommend this store at this location.

This is a really good place, all the staff including the manager are kind and respectfully warm towards their customers. Everybody is dutiful in delivering the customers' orders, and the customers are heard well. Definitely would suggest this place. 5 stars, for sure. The food's amazing!

Placed an online order for a 10 piece combo meal. The fries didn't look like they were cooked all the way, and I received 7 pieces of chicken. Some of them look like they've already eaten. Worst customer service EVER!!

Spicy Chicken sandwich was delicious! It was crispy and full of flavor. Workers were friendly and respectful. But the store was small and didn’t have enough tables to dine in.

Their mild (didn’t have spicy 🙄) tenders were fresh and crispy, they gave me fresh HOT fries…THATS IT!!! Everything else was absolute trash. They charged .75¢ for every sauce, yes even the first 1, they charge $5 for a small lemonade, their ghost pepper wings are OLD ( brown on the inside) , they gave me rice n beans with exactly 6 beans 🤦‍♀️, they over cook the biscuits 😡. Customer service was decent, wouldn’t stay to eat there though.

There's no way to call the Popeyes to complain. I haven't been to one in a while and I placed a small order coming up to about $16.50. They're not training their employees or their employees are not really paying attention. They didn't ask me if I wanted a sauce. I had to ask them if I get one with it. And when I got home, there was no biscuit with my chicken tenders and side that I ordered, I've only been to Popeyes twice in my life and I have no confidence in their staff or employees. Am I supposed to tell them what a meal comes with?

They disconnected their phone so no one can call about any orders or complaints which is very weird. Why is your phone unplugged and not working when you're a restaurant?? This is the worst Popeyes in NYC.

Low-key, the quality of this Popeyes tends to be pretty bad. It's a very busy location, constantly churning out orders, and so (as with many fried chicken joints) they prepare everything ahead of time. As such, you occasionally get some old stuff. Today, my fries were soggy and spongy. My biscuits were dry and powdery. My containers of mac and cheese had puddles of separated oil on the surface. The chicken, while crispy and delicious, was dry and stale. One of the pieces was weird and rubbery and couldn't be eaten. Yes, occasionally the food here do be slapping. But not today. And not most of the times I've eaten here. I love Popeyes at its best, but I can no longer stand it at its worst.

Every cloud has a silver lining... I was addicted to Popeye's chicken sandwich and was eating way too many of them because this place is so close to my apartment. However, every time we walked in to order something there were problems, issues and delays. I understand that many of the customers who come in here are jerks so working here has to be stressful. But when someone orders a chicken sandwich and fries at a place that sells a lot of chicken sandwiches, it shouldn't be so difficult and there's no need for the staff to yell at you when you ask if your order is ready. I was just walking down that block one time, not planning on ordering food and could here the employees yelling at a customer from outside on the sidewalk. That sealed the deal for me and cured me of my Popeye's Chicken Sandwich addiction.

I showed them the coupon for a 5 piece for 10.99 and they didn't honer it. Was told " too bad the app isn't working ". The worst customer service I have ever received. I WILL NEVER GO BACK After reading the review I realize this popeyes cares nothing for their customers and therefore will be moving my business to KFC. Do better or just close ur store. Ur providing awful service and running the brand. NO MORE POPEYES EVER ! KFC for appropriate treatment.

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL! Apparently you need to walk in and shove your phone in the staffs face to get helped. Patiently waiting, thinking maybe they would call my name, I watched everyone else get helped before me. My mistake. After 10 minutes, I finally said something to the staff, in which they responded with "hold on" and helped someone else shoving their phone in the staffs face again. Just order for delivery or a different location. These people are god awful with no sense of urgency, the management included. Calling you out woman who was slow AF, working with one AirPod in. Get outta here. I walked out without picking up my food and ordered for delivery instead. And the last time I ordered pick up from here, half of my order was wrong. Although the middle eastern man who helped me was friendly. But still. What's the point when a pick up takes 10 minutes and you risk a terrible experience or half of your order is wrong?! Better yet, just don't come here at all.

I've always loved Popeye's (which I discovered decades ago on a visit to New Orleans). Alas, there are none to be had in my Upper East Side Manhattan neighborhood. I stumbled across this new location coming home from the theater two weeks ago (Broadway is Back!). But my visit then and tonight (yes, I went back - another theater night - and I believe in "second" chances) were HUGE DISAPPOINTMENTS. 1st visit: I opted for a $3.99 spicy chicken sandwich to go. When I bit into it upon arriving home, my mouth was "on fire" HOT. No delicious fried chicken taste with a kick (I always order my Popeye's chicken spicy). Tasting the spicy chicken prepared @ this location, I felt like I had just swallowed Tabasco sauce with a crunch. Tonight opted for a classic (mild) chicken sandwich instead. This sandwich was dry, cold & tasteless with a smidgen of sauce on the bread. What made me particularly irate is that when I placed my order, the cashier turned to grab one behind her that was pre-made, sitting in a pile of several sandwiches near (not directly under) the heat lamp. I told her that I wanted my sandwich made "fresh." She said something to the manager, who handed her another sandwich which she put in my bag. I reiterated my request. She assured me that the sandwich the manager had given her had just been made. Since a time lapse of 30 seconds at best transpired, I doubted her. Despite my gut feeling that I was being duped, I took the sandwich which I already had paid for and left the store. My first bite confirmed my suspicions. Two strikes you're out - I won't be back to this location of Popeye's. My advice. If you in the area of Eighth Avenue between 55th and 56th streets and in need of a late night snack, go to Wendy's two doors down from Popeye's on the same block. Order the $5 "Biggie Bag" meal. You will automatically receive (no ask needed) a freshly made Bacon Double Stack burger, 4 pieces of chicken nuggets (spicy or crispy) + side sauce of your choice, small fries & a drink of your choice. When I bought my chicken sandwich @ Popeye's tonight, I was the only one in line. Contrast that to Wendy's - there were at least 20 people in the restaurant, placing or waiting to pick up their order. I know. I was in line, too @ Wendy's! Glad I had a backup plan as I hadn't had a chance to eat pre-theater and was starved. The Popeye's chicken sandwich - tossed in the garbage,

I couldn't agree with Briana M's review more. I know it's Popeyes, we've been in a pandemic, and places are "doing their best" with service. However, 13 out of 15 Seamless orders missing items is completely inexcusable. I pretty much know to not expect any sauces arriving with my food, or no plastic utensils, or no straw, no something. I've only received my sauces twice out of 15 orders. Seriously, come on. I don't expect a lot from a place like Popeyes, but this is awful by any standards. You don't even have to do your job with a smile...just do it correctly.

Lots of others having the same problem as me, I guess. I found out that ordering online was a HUGE mistake. I had to wait at least 19 minutes to get my food, and then they messed up my order. I watched everyone else ordering their food in-store get their food in about 2-4 minutes. What more could you expect?

Tonight was a very disappointing performance by the staff members at this location. Hi everybody I'm Thepandaphotographer NASA professional photographer, documentarian, and a travel consultant this was by far the most ridiculous wait time for a pick-up I placed my order at 10:15 PM and did not receive it it's two 11:07 PM tonight. I have spoken to the staff members three different times about my order, one of the staff members with a green bandanna knew the second time I'd asked. Then she tried to tell me that her coworker doesn't speak English? And I said I had to learn other languages that I have to speak to but she was the one that asked me my order number. So I waited and waited on camera I kept asking for my order. So I started to document everything that took place and that this time you can see people coming in and out while I stay behind and wait for my order. Keep in mind they didn't even make my order until 10:47 PM and got it wrong because I'm missing items What I got in the box was a three-piece and no biscuit someone goes into extra Apple Pies and large fries in a big paper bag! The fire was not even eatables "too cold" which I didn't order by the way. Now the manager was asked a few questions in front of other customers and he now wants to behave as if he doesn't;t understand what I am asking for. His information and store number. I'd asked for a business card and he doesn't have one. Now can I also add more difficulties to the problems at this location. No Mask No Service, that was also not fulfilled. There were customers coming inside well-knowing that they needed a mask to come inside. For my safety I stay outside and I saw two males that seem to not care about Covid 19. So the policy again wasn't fulfilled.

This is my second time visiting this location. The first time I went I waited for about 30 minutes for my food because the server was distracted and then she forgot my biscuit. Today I went, the garbage was overflowing, the workers looked overworked, and they had no sauce but tartar sauce. It's only 5pm and they have no sauce. This place is unorganized and ghetto. The food was pretty decent thankfully.

Disgusting leak from sealing they moved all chicken to side which to me looked as the chicken was being wet so they moved it. The water was driving into the ice machine as well and they were serving that to customers. Been here 2 times at night store is Disgusting and always feel I need a shower when I leave. Needless to say this was the final straw

Horrible. DO NOT order food from here. They do not follow instructions and they just throw random stuff in the bag that doesn't even follow what you wanted. Missing sides, missing dips for the chicken, wrong chicken, literally just close this businesses. People are out here paying for food, and if you can't even take them seriously, then don't open a business.

It's unlikely that the person who filled my delivery order around 7pm on Saturday, September 4th was sober. If they think it's okay to give me three pickled jalapeños in a plastic bag instead of jalapeño poppers (fried with cheese) then what other safety violations could they possibly be committing? I was mortified. They do not pick up the phone. I could never order here again and I'm concerned for anyone else that would order from here as well.

I ordered through grubhub and waited over 2.5 hours for my food. The drivers kept cancelling because the restaurant took long to prepare my order. I tried calling the restaurant multiple times, but no one picked up. I get that they can be busy, but they should be able to keep up with their online orders.

Came here to pick up some food for a picnic. They were busy with a ton of orders, and it took awhile to get my food (a big order of multiple sandwiches, tenders). However, everyone was communicative and kept checking in to make sure the order was being filled as soon as possible. Because of the wait, one of the team members offered to give me an extra chicken sandwich which was thoughtful! All in all, good experience with the food and customer service.

At 11:11 a.m. we placed an order via the Popeye's app to be picked up. We received confirmation that the order was being prepared and my credit card was charged. We arrived at the store and the door was locked. We could see people in the back, so we knocked on the door. The woman who came to the door refused to open it and told us they were closed. When I explained I couldn't hear her and asked her to open the door so I could explain that we had already placed an order, she turned around and walked away. "Grand Opening?"...Absolutely ridiculous...

The chicken sandwich and bucket was outstanding as always. The woman who worked this shift 8pm on Saturday night was amazing. She was fast, organized and had it all under control. To top it off she was very nice and personable. Get her a crew that can keep up with her and you will be a huge success! Thank you!

I waited from 8:16pm to 9:06pm for my food while the wait was long the did provide me with an extra side which was great. I'd say if you got stuff to do maybe come earlier or don't have special request cause you will wait. I can't blame the works for actually wanting to get people in and out but rather the ignorant ass people that come in there thinking the world owes them something. As someone who had done deliveries the drivers they go in there and huddle up around where the food is passed out maybe if they formed a line and if people that order their food back the fuck up and make room after ordering maybe just maybe it would be a little more organized but people are impatient and rude also passive aggressive. So great job to 7 works today. It's the ignorance of people that makes the food system complicated. Also there screen that shows food in progress and or ready was out so idk who actually owns the store not talking about the manger but I'd definitely communicate with the store owner but maybe get your shit together so your employees aren't trashed through out the night and are able to improve quality of service. They can only do so much while understaff and the place barely works. Also this place is near Times Square keep that in mind.
